I am in the uk and got my partner ring purchased via a friend in New york June 2022. cost $5600 us and it was picked by us in new york. Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Yellow diamond necklace purchased 9/27/23

I purchased a Levian yellow diamond pendant necklace on 9/27 as a gift for my daughter. However, my daughter has been struggling with the defective lobster claw clasp. I reached out requesting a return since the item was a gift but I am told I am outside the return window; however, purchases made 10/19 or after are being given until 1/24/24 for a return window. I was less than one month before that purchase window to be considered for the extended return window.

Claimed loss: $1,484

Desired outcome: Grant the extended return window for this item.

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Horrible customer service

On Sept 6, 2023 I took my jewelry in to be inspected as well as get new posts put on my earrings so I could have the screw on backs. The gal let me know my diamond was loose and a diamond was chipped on my ring so stated I needed to send it in to be fixed. I asked her to remove my ex from my account since we are no longer together. She stated she would handle it all. On the 13th I went to the store to pick up my items and nobody could find them. Someone asked me who helped me the last time I was in and I pointed to the gal and she came over and told everyone that yes she remembered me and that she switched all my items into my account only and took the ex off the account. After them looking more a manager told me my stuff was picked up two days prior. I said by who and they said my ex name. I said how would he know to pick up my items and he stated the gal made a mistake and submitted the fix it ticket prior to removing him from the account so he got the email that my items were done and ready for pick up. I asked them what they were going to do in regards to the situation and they stated nothing because he was on the ticket. They failed to do their job correctly and gave my jewelry that my children gave me as gifts to my abusive ex and they would not even reimburse me my money that I paid on getting new posts on my earrings. Absolutely horrible customer service. They messed up and now I’m paying for it. My son was in tears because I don’t have my earrings and ring that he picked out for me. I even called the manager after the situation and asked what they were going to do in regards to the situation and he said nothing but that he felt bad about it.

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Bad store manager/hostile environment

I was in the store shopping and observed the store manager berating a sales worker while she was with a guest and she ending up having an anxiety attack. The assistant manager came over and took control of the situation, only to have the Store Manager loudly criticize her and talk badly about her and the sales clerk. This was the most unprofessional individual I have ever seen and she needs to be disciplined/fired. She was very loud, unprofessional, rude and obnoxious. If it had not been for the other store manger being there this situation would have taken a very bad turn for the worst. The Store Manager clearly created a very highly hostile work environment that not only affects your workers but also customers like myself who was there shopping for an engagement ring. I would not shop or recommend anyone to shop there until you make a management change.

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Poor customer service

On April 25th at approximately 330pm I entered the Jared Galleria on Route 347 in Lake Grove near the Smithaven Mall. I was bringing my hearts of fire wedding band in to be fixed as one of the diamonds fell out and was found in my car. I was working with Carissa and she explained to me that even though I had been bringing my ring to them for inspections and diamond tightening, they would need to charge me for the repair. I then called my husband, being the purchaser of the ring and he came inside the store. When he came in I was explaining to him that they wanted to charge me for the repair of my ring. We had both asked how much the repair would cost and were awaiting an answer from Carissa. While waiting im explaining to him how my ring is constantly in there getting the stones tightened and that maybe I should bring it elsewhere because they must not be doing a good job if my stones are constantly loose. The assistant manager then decided to join our conversation without being invited. She said "It wouldn't benefit us to make your stone fall out because if you loose it we have to replace it at no cost". My husband and I kindly told Jennifer that we were not speaking to her and to please just get us the price of the repair as we had already been waiting about 10 minutes. Jennifer then got very upset and asked us to leave "her" store. I told her I would gladly leave and take my ring to Kay inside the mall to be fixed

Desired outcome: i would like to receive exceptional customer service when entereing Jarerd and I feel my ring should be fixed at no cost

Terrible experience. Got the wrong item for: Diamond Necklace 1/4 ct tw Round 14K White Gold.

Went to the store in Concord,NC and they couldn’t take back the item because it was wrong. Then created a case. Nothing was ever done. Now I’m out $723.92? Don’t seem fair. Because it’s been since September, no one will do anything. Who can help?

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Chain clasp spring broke, Jared in Brea Ca said we had to pay

On 03/01/2020 I purchased a diamond heart pendant ($675) and a white gold chain (10WG FANCY 20", $250) for my wife. After 2 years, the spring inside the "lobster clasp" appears to be broken.

My wife took it back to the same Jared store (1631 East Imperial Highway, Brea , CA 92821) and they said she had to pay $125 to get it fixed. That's half the price of the chain, not to mention it was only 2 years old and she didn't wear it every day. My wife is 50 and takes meticulous care of her jewelry.

This is unacceptable and terrible customer service. It would be a simple fix to replace the clasp for little to no cost, but they want to gouge us $125 for a broken spring? Outrageous...

Desired outcome: Fix the clasp at no cost to us. We don't want anything more than you to stand behind the quality of your merchandise.

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Gold chain

I’ve had my chain for years now n the clasp broke mind you the clasp was soldered into the clasp which I liked a lot . So I brought my chain to Jared’s to have them repair the broken clasp .! They gave my my chain back with the clasp fixed but the repair job I’m not happy with at all the clasp is no longer soldered into the chain it’s hanging on by just a few gold links this chain is A 2500 dollar chain n I’m very unhappy with the repair and I’d like to b compensated for this mistake

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry diamond ring

I had bought a ring from Jared in October 2019, during the pandemic, I was laid off from my job and with the circumstances going on in my life I had was to sell it. I went to a famous jewelry store close by and they had was to do an appraisal for my ring. when I asked, "what was it worth," them the manager of that jewelry store told me the ring is not all diamond ,some stone was diamond and other was Cubic Zirconia stone to my acknowledgement, I was shocked. I have been trying to reached Jared Galleria of Jewelry and their manager now for 1 year and no one ever contacted me about the situation.

need this to be solved asap.

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Vera wang 2-1/5 14 carat white gold

I had ordered the ring 3 months ago, and just received it yesterday.. was not the ring I purchased first of all and secondly there were two diamonds missing from the setting! Extremely upset, and having a very hard time getting to the bottom of it. At this point I either expect the ring I ordered. Or a full refund of $7, 600 dollars

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Pandora/jared service

I wanted to get my wife a pandora ring for valentine's day. Was disappointed that they were no longer in store. So... I ordered it online and had it shipped to the store. Ordered 2/09/21 and was supposed to pick up before valentine's. Never received any information about order so I went to the store on 2/13/21 and was told it hadn't arrived but I could purchase something else and get a refund when it arrived. So I bought something else with the intent to get a refund once item arrived. Now without any information still I called the number on the order and found out that my order was delivered to store on 2/11/21. So I had to buy other merchandise because they told me it wasn't there... And now they say I can't get a refund. Sooo disappointed with jared and the customer service that I don't think i'll be dealing with them again. I feel betrayed!

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry Received tarnished bead and discolored ornament, not packed properly either

On, 1/8/2021 I ordered a 2018 Pandora ornament and charm gift, this was my first purchase ever with the company... I received the item today, 1/12/2021. Upon pulling the Pandora box out of the shipping box the top of the box fell off and the ornament, delicate, fell on the ground and the bead flew across the room... because whom ever packed it didn't rubber band or tape the box closed. Although nothing was broken, I messaged Jared website with regards to the item. The woman I spoke with was helpful and stated she would take note of it to her supervisor. I then proceeded to ask her about cleaning the bead as I received it completely tarnished... the bead, where it should be bright white and sparkly silver around the stones and enameling is completely tarnished. She gave me link to Pandora for cleaning instructions. As I look on Pandora, I see I have none of the items to be able to clean this. I shouldn't receive an item I just purchased and have it Arrive tarnished and then have to clean it that ridiculous. As I look at this item more and more I see the resin enamel on the top of the ornament is more a yellow white than the resin enamel on the bottom. Which is a bright white. I'm definitely frustrated...This was a gift for someone, now I have to do the leg work to make it presentable.

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry watch repair service

I have an automatic TAG Carrera watch.

- left it for repair in February 2019 due to condensation inside the console (the watch was warking well though)

- After two momths, I paid $ 1, 250 for the service

- In July the watch started having problems (stop working when in use)

- I left it again and picked it up in September.

- Only one month or less after, the same problem appeared again.

The TAG official service is clearly not in line with the luxury brand they are suppose to represent

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry customer service holiday gift return policy

I ordered a necklace as a Christmas gift on November 8th gave it to my wife on Christmas day the chain is too short tried to return it. Would not extend the 30 day return policy for christmas gifts. I will Nerver buy from them agin. I tried to return it to the local store, thay would not wave the 30 day policy, I then called customer service and talked with a superviser, the most thay might be willing to do is exchange it with something of like value.

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry rolex watch

Purchased a pre owned Rolex watch, i was never told that the parts were "non factory enhancements." I went to mayors and JR Dunn to trade up and they told me that basically the watch isn't worth much. I spent $67000.00, basically just for the bracelet, the rest of the watch is bogus. I spoke to Jarad's and they would not stand behind the sale. They are a rip off. I think i should have been told the information and made my own decision as to whether i wanted to continue with the sale. I thought i was getting a genuine pre-owned Rolex, but i wasn't. Jarad's is a rip off. I will find every sight i can to include social media to be sure everyone knows how dirty Jarad's dealings are. Shame on you Jarad's for selling a fake Rolex!

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry customer service

The last two times I have been to the Jared closest to me the employees have been beyond rude. My mother ordered her grandmothers ring to be dipped in white gold and they dipped it in yellow gold. They acted like it was her fault. The setting on the ring was white gold so why would you not make it match? They kept mentioning the "shank" and when I asked what the employee was referring to as the the "shank" she acted like I was stupid and explained it to me as if I were a child. I told her she didn't need to be rude about it. Yesterday my fiancé and I went in to look at wedding rings for him, we need a size 14.75-15. It's a hard find. Instead of telling us our options such as we can't use an alternative metal and have to use a gold based ring, she asked if we had looked online and kept referring to looking online. I really want him to have what HE wants in a ring and HE be happy with it because it symbolizes our life together. I'm also not comfortable buying something like that from an unknown entity and giving them my money foolishly. Where has customer service gone?

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry paid for a special order sapphire - just found out it's a zircon!

we picked out engagement ring and wedding bands at end of may. wanted a teal sapphire, they said they would order it. he picked up the rings in june, proposed mid-july. there is a clear stripe, 1/3 of the size of the stone, the ends are much brighter. is it painted? i have no idea? so i take it to the jared's near my home and they tell me it is actually a topaz and it is the cut of the ring that makes it look that way, but i need to go back to the original store. so we make the 2-hour round trip, and they tell me it is actually a zircon. and they have no comment on why there is a clear stripe in the middle. they say because it is more than 30 days from the dated purchase at the end of may - we are stuck with it. i want none of the purchase. i have no interest in financially supporting such an unethical company. before we left they agreed to take out the stone and credit his account the price of the stone. but i want none of it. i want them to take it back, zero out his account, and get out of my sight.

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry movado vizio watch

Left my watch for a battery change At Old Country Rd., store I waited a month for my watch. Two days later my watch was not working, two things that really bother me here one the fact that I was overcharged nearly 3 times the amount that the battery should've cost . My watch had minor hairline scratches Visible only with a loop but when I received my watch it had scratches that I could see without a loop that were not there for this reason I did not take my watch back to Jareds For its warranty no one in their right mind would go back to a place that couldn't fix the watch the first time to boot give it back to me with scratches that weren't there.Ultimately I had my watch repaired at Tourneau corner cost me $35 not 75 which was the price they charged me Waited for my watch was repaired within one hour without any damages

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry refund of my 20%

in February 2018 I bought a ring and they wanted 20% down which I used a credit card. I went to the store to return it February 15 and never received my 20% down payment back which was 505.95. I have been fighting with Jared and my credit card company with no help. Its march 29th and as of now they have stolen 505.95 from me. I will be filing a police record and place a bbb complaint as well. I have proof of all this information. Jared employees need to be trained better. They also need a better system for customers

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry sales clerks

I had purchased a very expensive semimount at Jared's about 10years ago. It was a horrible experience. That aside I went back last weekend, under diress. A prong had bent over...that was MY fault. Jared's wouldn't even touch the ring unless I bought an appraisal. The 3 carat diamond I have in the mounting did not come from them. They stated that work could not be performed without an appraisal. While I waited for the manager to return I decided to peruse their measly selections. An extremely snotty clerk waited on me. Apparently my new name is "sweetheart" or "honey". This is very condescending and I don't like the familiar tone. He TOLD me to take off my Tahitian pearl, diamond and 18kt gold ring. I asked why. He said it was pretty and wanted to take a closer look. I comply and hand over the ring. He then proceeds to verbally tear apart the ring. Asking why it's set in STERLING. I had to correct the simpleton. I did NOT buy an appraisal and I will NEVER return. These minimum wage folks have no right to question me, an experienced diamond and gem buyer. Factually I once managed a very large jewelry store. I do know a thing or two about gemstones. So, that's two visits and two very bad experiences. Since when do these people, whom expect you to spend your hard earned money on a LUXURY decide it's OK or acceptable to treat prospective buyers in such a manner? What low brow people. By the way, I found nothing that appealed to me. Their selections are mediocre at best and so very "see em" On every corner type junk"...common in every way. If being insulted is your thing, by all means go to Jared's. They'll serve you well in that regard.
