Caveat Emptor when conducting business with James Bryan Devine of Leiderman Devine, LLP !!
Just to be sure we are identifying the true individual here and not mistaking him for another person, we are speaking of the James Bryan Devine who is related to Selena Devine, Brian Devine, and Devine Devine. He also received his "formal education" from Depaul and San Francisco School of Law. (see also picture of James Bryan Devine attached below)
James Bryan Devine is an unethical attorney who advices his clients poorly and attempts to shield their shady (if not outright criminal) behaviors. While most defense attorneys are well known dirt bags since way back in the day, James not only defends these miscreants, but he also chooses to waste their money by tying them up in innane and pointless litigation.
Case in point: He recently chose to "defend" a local man who blatently (allegedly) scammed my company. The documentation is staggering. The man's wife even admits he owes money in writing and is trying to pay me back. Instead of allowing her to reimburse me, James Bryan Devine told her to keep the money (thus allowing the "alleged" fraud to continue). Of course, one can only speculate as to why an "attorney" of the law would give such ridiculous advice. One can only imagine it is so that I will sue them and he can defend them in general civil court. I'm sure the nice attorney fees he woulc acrue during this process (all the hours from pre discover, discover, and all the way up to court) has nothing to do with it?
Not only does James Bryan Devine defend individuals who get themselves in trouble with the law, it is my opinion he steals money from them by giving them horrible legal advice.
If you are looking for a defense attorney, stay clear of this operation.
