Jagex Kicks me out since last night

Since last night I glitched on a quest and kicked me out and everytime I would log back in it would log in and then kick me out again and again and later I check other worlds I see players playing and I can't, also i would logg in and the screen would turn black on my screen and have the loading icon in the top and freeze, and what makes it worse is that I would reload the game and just load and stay at the loading screen for a long time after so many reloads!, what's wrong?

Jagex Runescape

On February 4, 5, 2021, my Runescape account was hacked and left an unpaid balance. I was able to log into my account only to discover my high-value items were gone. There were over 38 billing transactions only 1 minute apart. I did not receive any emails. I had my account secure with the authenticator. I believe it is the moderators who are behind the scams. I only use my home computer and have it secured. No one has my account information. They would like to place the blame on the players but refuse to accept any type of responsibility for their lack of security. They have a record that my account was hacked and even of the items taken but refuse to give them back.

Desired outcome: I expect my items back or all the money I have invested into the game. I am a 15+ year player.

Jagex Visa charging wont stop

Im complaining because Jagex kreps charging my Visa every month. I have attempted to write and to call so you stop charging my credit card but you do not stop this (see attached information from my bank charging this amount). Please stop charging my Visa. My name is Aixa N. Quintero

I know this is old, but call your bank and have them stop payment. you can also revoke authorization on any and all payments you did not authorize. get your money back and send Jagex a nice fine at the same time! They pay a fee for returned monies.. you should be ready to have your account locked due to unpaid balance, this is all they can do about it because everything is done by a bot and not a person.

Jagex Runescape

I have now had my account banned twice! With no evidence of why it has been banned. The second time I had it banned I had not even been using it. I have however noticed that this happened on both occasions the day after they took my money for the membership. I assume they take the money then ban the account so I have to keep repaying a membership fee! Absolutely appalling behaviour I will get in touch with the FCA as I have seen this is an issue with other users. The company is stealing money and not providing the service and getting away with it.

They pay a fee for returned monies.. you should be ready to have your account locked due to unpaid balance, this is all they can do about it because everything is done by a bot and not a person. i revoked payment 2 weeks after i originally got my membership bc they banned me for no reason. i paid for a 1yr membership not to be banned. not what i paid for. got my money back.

Jagex Not being able to get in to my account

Some body hack my account and I was fixing to get on this yr and found out that somebody got me band for hackeing and I dont do that stuff and dont now how to hack so I wont my account back the way I had it ples and I have bin off for 2yr and this not far that somebody dose this somebody else so I wont let you know that if this is not fix in 24hr iwill be handing this off to the authority and thin I will tell thim this that you all hacked my account and thin band me for the game

Jagex Unauthorized charges on my card

Jagex charged my card 69.99 twice on [protected] and I have no idea who they were or how they got my card number until I talked to direct express and they seemed reluctant to do anything, I didn't authorize the payments, I have never heard of the company before and would like my 139.98 put back on my card

Jagex Account security | customer service

Poor account security, recovery methods.
Refusal to change any login details or remove information known to a third party from your account.
To access any sort of support you have to go outside of Runescape.com.
Speaking to customer support all they do is copy/paste the same thing to everyone while saying "we are disheartened to hear your account is compromised".
Customer support don't seem to pass emails onto anyone higher up that might be able to help and just give you a basic response and say thanks for contacting us.
Quite happy to leave paying customers feeling like an account won't be secure again.
Would rather people quit after giving 16-17 years to the game than up their security measures .

Jagex Runescape

From between January and March of this year, I was targeted by a group of players on the game. Threats were made against my life, extremely inappropriate jokes about my mental state were made at my expense and malicious rumours were spread about me. I reported the threat to the police and was told they would take it no further due to Jagex investigating it themselves. However, nothing was done about these players and they still target me today.
I want action to be taken against these players and for Jagex to actually prove they don't have an apathetic approach to their own player base.

Jagex Security

Jagex has a list of security tips to follow, I followed them (in game bank pin, strong password, and an authenticator app.) I recently logged in to my account and noticed I was not in the same area I was when last logged out, I also noticed that 3 Million + of in-game items/money were missing. I went to their support page and they send you to their tips on how to secure your account, which I already followed to the T (why would they have all these security precautions if I got hacked and robbed. The only reason I am filing this complaint is because I had a membership with them (which I canceled due to them having poor customer service) so that maybe this will reach Jagex and they can reverse what happened or something similar to compensate me so that I can continue to be a paying member. Thank you for your time and effort.

Jagex Runescape customer service

One of my accounts has been wrongfully Banned from unescape and i am unable to contact anybody to find assistance in what to do next. I am now very unsure whether i can use my other account without the same wrongful ban apply.
I have played for many years and I am now very upset with the service I am receiving.

I got banned for Macroing or use of third part software, which I have not done. I used to official Old School Application for Apple Mac devices.

I submitted an appeal and got no response and quickly thereafter got shut down by Mod Ash on Twitter when mentioning my concern for my second account.

Please let me know if their is anything i can do to prevent another wrongful ban.

Sorry to hear about being banned for botting/Macroing. I always laughed at anyone this happened to because i assumed jagex had a good system until it happened to me. and nothing was done. i called my back and had they refund me $200+ for my 1yr membership along with my wifes and kids memberships.
retired my lvl 120 acc and glad i did so bc this company doesnt care. so why should i? so many games to play today, dont waste your time and money supporting a [censored] company.
Call your bank and revoke authorization on any and all payments to JAGEX, doesnt matter if how you paid, paypal/steam/jagex. get your money back. They wont learn how to treat their customers if they keep getting your money! Be prepared to have your account locked due to an unpaid balance. WELL WORTH IT TO SHOVE IT TO THIS CORRUPT COMPANY.

Jagex Runescape account security

on 18/08/2019 i recieved an email from Jagex stating that someone has attempted to change my password on my account. Instead of clicking the link in the email (potential scam), i logged on my Runescape account via the main website to find that my account has now been permanently banned and the reasons for this was; macroing (botting).

Upon further investigation. It's became apparent that my accoutn has been "Hijacked" and used for the botting scene.

I have not used this account for a number of years, however the amount of time and effort I invested into this account is difficult to count, as most of the accoutns life has since been a "non-member", yet I continue to train up it's stats in preparation for PvP with a group of friends.

It appears as though since time has passed, my account details have been either hacked or sold to a third party, who were; up until recently; using it to cheat the game.

I never once recieved a notisifation that my accoutn had logged in under a different IP address, nor that it was suspected of botting. In stead, Jagex simply issued a permanent ban against the account as a result of their inability to secure sensitive data such as login details, nor provide any warning that my account has logged in from the other side of the world from it's previous login address.

My complaint is this;

- I would like all information concerning my account audited and traced in attempts to rule out an illegal, interal sale (From Jagex - 3rd Party)
- Investigation into Jagex's server security.
- Financial review of the amount of money invested in membership, and a financial evaluation of the time and effort put into the account.
- Re-Imbursment of all investment in the form of financial contribution.

I refuse to have my time, effort and money spent on developing a character on this game over the number of years go to waste because Jagex cannot keep their information private.

Jagex My account/ban procedure/contact info

Got banned for macroing (using third-party software) even though I have never used any such software. They reviewed my ban and decided to not overturn it. The appeal process did not allow me to argue my case, so I could not provide any evidence. Furthermore, Jagex did not provide me with any evidence that I broke their rules. As a paying player, I am disappointed that I have no rights to my account and I will not be able to use my 15 year old ever again. Furthermore, there is no contact details to formally submit a complaint.

Jagex Money scam

I was attempting to purchase old school bonds, and my card kept getting rejected. Idiotically, I attempted to repurchase a few times, thinking the error was on my part. I was wrong. Jagex has charged my credit card 5 times for 20.99 USD and I have Zero bonds. Refund my cash immediately or I will take legal action. This is my first time playing in at least eight months and I know for a fact that I am not at your "bond limit" or whatever sorry excuse you give other clients. This company is a scam and has no customer service! Thank goodness my credit card company has real people and contact information so that I can settle disputes such as this. I will be seeking counsel to advise me on my pursuit of Jagex and fixing their plentiful errors.

Jagex Hacked/ technical issue

I find it upsetting that you guys will be happily to replace items due to technical issue but not for someone's account getting hacked.. I've played this damn game for years and this is the first time that my accounts ever been hacked and to be honest it [censored]ing sucks all those years playing this game working hard for the money I "had" to buy all the god armory sets that I "had" just to be told that you won't replace them, but if it was a technical issue you would?!? I mean to be honest it is a technical issue

Jagex Runescape

Incident Started: July 3, 2019

Incident:
After adding an email login as an addition to my facebook login per their request I can no longer play the game. Now after I log in the client requests I verify my email. However after I click the 'Send Email' button it changes to 'Email Sent' but never sends the email. (And of coarse I check spam and my email login and account record email is the same)
I tried to find a way to contact them but all they do is send everyone around in circles in the support faq pages. I eventually discovered the only way to contact them is to dispute payment.
Since I have contacted them they will either not respond or send unrelated solutions. I even tell them they have to tell their systems people so they can research and fix the issue but it does not appear that they are willing to do this.
I want them to either:
1) Fix the problem and extend my yearly membership an extra month for all the aggravation they are causing me. Or,
2) Refund the remaining 6 months of unusable membership.

Jagex Runescape osrs

I have played runescape since I was about 12 years old and loved the idea of osrs coming out and reliving those years. However that has all come to an end as my email and account was hacked not long ago. I submitted multiple recoveries to try and get my beloved account back and even contacted the jagex support through twitter just to be told to put in a recovery which was no help at all but none the less I put it in again as I did not want to give up on the game I had played for nearly half my life.

Not only is the options you have for jagex abysmal because it just sends you through links that are either no help at all or just do loops to the same possible solution you have already done, I did not even get so much as a reply email. No attempt at all was made to help me or fix the issue and I have now lost a childhood memory.

Jagex Runescape

Now i spent most of my childhood years playing osrs and stoped when rs3 was released as I didn't like the changes, now osrs has been released on mobile, great! So I decide to start playing again, having to start from scratch as my old account is not usable now in osrs, so i quest and I skill trying to get back into the game and I'm enjoying it, not even a month or 2 playing and I've been hacked and permanently banned without being able to appeal, all the years I played runescape I've never had an issue like this and withing a month I get hacked now... Please explain how someone can hack my account so easily when I log in from my mobile phone! And to top that my account has been banned even though I literally just had to recover my account last night, i will enclose image not being able to log in, and whoever hacked me had changed my name, i have spent quit a bit of money on runescape over the years and quite frankly I'm rather annoyed that this hapens when I try to play my childhood game, I hope that you will look at my account and see that I skill, I spent the last week preparing and starting barbarian fishing, what just for someone to hijack my account? I recovered the account and im stood not at barbarian fishing spot, but at the grand exchange with elegant gear on and white flowers with white phat... Im not sure what they were doing o my account, and nothing in bank bank was stolen... I am the victim here and I've just lost hours and hours of mindless grinding because of some idiot hacking my account and lack of care looking into my account afterwords before deciding to permenantly rekove my account, I really do hope I get a reply atleast as I've enjoyed playing your game for many years and wish to continue although I WILL NOT be starting again from scratch, especialy when there are plenty of other games out there to play.

Jagex Runescape

Im trying to play Runescape like any other player and the bots people use on runescape to cheat are overloading every world its very hard to enjoy mining fishing woodcutting stuff like that because of the auto bots and i always report abuse and jagex does nothing about it im referring to old school Runescape my in game name in cloudjuggalo and i can barely enjoy the game because of the bots and ive been playing runescape for years i have bought membership over the years but why would i continue to buy it if jagex allows bots to cheat please do something or i will quit the game i thought jagex was against rule breakers i guess i was wrong so please fix this or im seriously done and i will send this to jagex on multiple sites until i get the message across i love runescape please dont let the bots ruin it for the people trying to

Jagex Runescape

I purchased membership and100s of dollars of bonds from the company, before I could do anything, my account was "hacked" and all my bonds and everything in game I had was gone. The game has had a history of its employees stealing from the customers and when I brought my issue to them they ignored it. They have been ignoring it and me since it happened. I am now forced to take them to court over this, they have never even bothered to send a response despite me being a paying customer and having spent over 1000 usd on their product over the years.
