There is a customer named Joel Tracey that was at J Walker Ranch when I was there and he seems unstable.

Thank you! Yes, you are correct... Joel Tracy is very unstable. All sellers should beware of this guy! He is dangerous and works as a park ranger which, I believe, can carry a gun. He will pretend to be your friend to get what he wants, and if you don't give him what he wants, you become his enemy and he sets his sights on you and tries everything he can to hurt you or your business or both. I'm glad that some of my customers witnessed his bizarre behavior and don't believe anything he says. In fact, those who have come across the complaints he has posted all over the internet, have blasted him for his actions (knowing that he got a refund and still continues to harrass!) and complimented J Walker Ranch for our outstanding business practices and excellent horses.

I agree with the above statement and it was very helpful to hear this, to know it us not only the balloons. You said above, ". . . and if you don't give him what he wants, you become his enemy and he sets his sights on you and tries everything he can to hurt you or your business or both." That is exactly what he is doing to the hot air balloon businesses in north county San Diego.

The hot air balloon pilots and chase crew have been harassed badly by Joel Tracy for the past 3 years. He lied by filing a false report to the FAA as a peace officer this is a very bad thing. The FAA will have nothing to do with Joel Tracy because he has no credibility. When entering the FAA offices he refused to remove his gun as requested in federal buildings.

He often shows bizarre behavior for a peace officer. Joel Tracy phoned one balloon pilot / company owner 13 times every 30 minutes trying to harass him. In another case he reached into the truck of a balloon chase crew and took away the keys! Can you imagine a police officer reaching inside your vehicle and taking away your keys for a routine stop? Ask any pilot or crew or passenger that has seen him in action and they will all tell you of his bizarre actions for a city employee / peace officer.

He oversteps his bounds and goes out of his jurisdiction to harass us. Although he tried to give some trespassing tickets to some balloonists, none of them have held up in court. Just 2 days ago he acted so crazy when a balloon landed on the side of San Dieguito Rd. (not his jurisdiction) that a passenger (a surgeon M.D. from L.A.) complained he was afraid for his life; Joel Tracy was preventing the pilot and crew from doing their job in operating the aircraft.

Please speak up here if you too have had a bad experience of any kind with Joel Tracy.
