InTown Suites Management

As long as Larry is the manager I will not stay in the INN TOWN SUITES in Garden City/ Savannah, Ga. There are things he does unfairly, he shows favoritism. I have seen him say things to the maintenance guy that isn't fair or right. And completely take the side of the two girls that do not do their job at all. Also, the maintenance guy had an injured foot because he hurt it on the job, Larry made him work, got in his face, and yelled at him, while the guy was getting ready for work, told him he needed to do what he wanted no matter what. I was only a few doors down from his room and I heard him with my door closed. Before I left the maintenance guy was talking to a customer and the guy hit him knocking him to the ground when he told Larry he told him if he pressed charges he would be wrote up, after telling him this he did nothing to the guy that hit him. In the rules, it said that violence is a reason to be evicted. And to turn the music down not to disturb the other guest. Larry treats the maintenance guy with no respect at all. Also where I come from if you didn't do your job you were fired, the housekeeper that said she has been here for a few years will sit around and do nothing while rooms are needing to be cleaned. And then she wants to leave early every day. I believe that the maintenance guy has to clean the rooms on top of trying to repair everything that needs repairing. If the maintenance guy tries to take a break no one will let him, people are always knocking at his door or blowing up his phone. I heard his wife say that no one shows him respect.
In the time that I stayed, I have seen people come in a newly remodeled room and totally destroy it, breaking the TVs putting holes in the walls, totally trashing the room and Larry does nothing about it. I could not deal with the treatment and the attitude I got of Larry doing the things he has done so I left. Larry won't help the maintenance guy do anything but will help the housekeepers clean a room. Larry is a racist. I refuse to stay there until Larry is gone. I believe the maintenance guy would be a better manager. He would run the place better and not allow things to happen with people trashing the rooms or not following the rules. I am also going to put this on Yelp.

InTown Suites Maintenance man’s wife

While I was staying at intown in Greenville on wade Hampton, the maintenance man's wife made the comment "you need to sit down before you fall down, junkie." How would she know anything about me? We're there cameras in my room if I was to be using? It was extremely offensive and degrading. Another housekeeper told me that she was paid by someone to "meow" like a cat when she heard the meow out loud.

InTown Suites Management is not doing her job locked out of room and have been inconvenienced

I have been staying at the Intown Suites in Kannapolis NC and the management there has done a very poor job at providing good customer because I have been locked out of my room since November the 24th and I have tried several times to contact the office at this location and I have also tried to contact the after hours person on duty and have not received any response from them. I have been paying to stay in other rooms and the money I gave paid to stay elsewhere was supposed to go towards my room at the Intown and I want to get a two weeks free stay because I have been inconvenienced by this property. I have also been told that the room I have been moved to was a cheaper rate and I have still been paying almost $100 a night. I really should get some type of free weeks for all of this inconvenience the office has my phone number and could have called me to see what time I would be there because I work but I stead they just decided not to answer the phone and due to the holidays the office was closed and I was inconvenienced and locked out of my room. I deserve some type of refund or something for all this trouble that could have been avoided.

Desired outcome: I would like to receive a free two weeks stay or a refund for the money I have had to pay at other hotels when I should not have had to do that when I was ready booked in at the Intown Suites.

InTown Suites Abusive staff, filthy, substandard & unsafe rooms, inadequate means of complaining to corporate

I moved into RM 128 at the Intown Suites In Jackson, MS around September 27th. Right away I had a bad feeling about the hotel. It's was just an ominous feeling. The hotel appeared to be very run down and many of the tenant appeared to be on very hard times where they would not complain about rooms not having promised amenities or abuse from staff. At places like this I knew that the chance for abuse would be high and I was correct.

I walked into the Office and I thought I was dealing with the clerk. The woman seemed friendly but she was not professional at all. I was booked into the room. I had driven a long way so I did not really inspect the room fully until the next day. The room was filthy. It appeared barely cleaned. Other door had a huge gap at the bottom were bugs and rodents and even snakes could easily enter. The room was missing the microwave. When I ran the heater there was a strong burning smell. The fire alarm kept flashing red and beeping.

I notified the office that the room was missing the microwave. By now I found out the clerk was General Manager Dana Kanode. She said a microwave would be brought out. One never was. Weeks went by. No microwave. I also realized the ac and heating unit had a dirt, soot and mold buildup. Everytime I ran it, it would blow out black chunks with a musty earthy smell. I developed breathing problems. I had to stop running it. During this time I went by the office continuously to request the ac and heating unit be replaced along with a microwave brought to the room. Nothing was done. I called customer service several times. I recorded the calls. I pleaded with them to escalate my concerns. They refused. I called corporate and left messages. Nothing. I sent a fax. Still nothing. I sent an email. It bounced back. Finally I took pictures and sent them to media relations at intown suites.

They never responded to me but had the ac and heating unit swapped same day. By this time I was finally brought a microwave.

But I noticed very unusual behavior from the office manager Dana Kanode that gave me bad feelings. Every week when I would go into the office to pay, she would claim her computer was down. She never wanted to process my payment. She would tell me to come back repeatedly. I also noticed the office had sporadic hours. Dana Kanode stayed gone it seemed for extended lunch breaks. When I would reach her she was abrupt, hostile and rude.

Finally it all came to a head a few days after I sent the email with pics to media relations. I left to put my trash in the trash bin and apparently put it into the wrong bin and the security guard decided to immediately evict me. He was aggressive. Yelling. Walking up on me. I had to call the cops.

Because I put the trash in the wrong bin the security guard would not even let me pack my belongings. He wanted me to leave immediately. He came beating on my door with another man. Demanding I leave. He blocked the doorway to my room while I was forced his way in. He use his foot to block me from closing the door. I am a woman and I was frightened. I said I would leave and asked for my money for the remainder of the week to be refunded and he screamed no refunds! The general manager Dana Kanode came running out and she also said no refunds.

Horrible way to treat a guest. A quiet guest at that. Dana Kanode yelled that I had contacted the corporate office. So I guess this is what this was about. Intown Suites abuses customers. Even the cop could not believe how intown suites acted.

Desired outcome: I want a refund for the remainder of my stay plus the time I was without a microwave and having breathing problems from the ac.

InTown Suites Floating general manager

I was at the office today Saturday August 28th by 1 p.m. and nobody was there this happens every Saturday. Well today the floating general manager was there and he wasn't there earlier so I could pay. He got there about 230 245. He said that I had pay to 319.00 because I was late. When I said I was there earlier he said pay or get out. So I paid it. He was very rude and I've been a guess here since April and have always paid my rent on time. The last time the floating general manager was there. I told him there was water coming back in my room from the air conditioner and it was making me sick. He said you'll have to move out instead of offering to get maintenance to fix it. I ended up with pneumonia and my bf and I missed a week of work which cost us over 1000.00. Finally when I seen james the maintenance man and told him he fixed it right away. Which was 2 weeks later when I finally couldn't take it anymore and told him because I was scared I was going to get evicted for something that was out of my control. If I want back to that manager. I don't like the way he treats me and acts very racist. I'm a very good tenant. I'm always on time with my rent. Very quiet and I follow all the rules. I don't deserve this treatment. I don't understand why the general manager acts like he hates his job and is still here. I've seen him yelling at other tenants and even took their chair they were using to sit outside when they went in he took off with them and put them in a storage room. I don't understand I thought this was a professional business. The staff doesn't act like that. His name was Maxwell the third. African American about 6 foot. This happened at the into suites in matthews stallings in north Carolina. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, your intown suites tenant.

InTown Suites Dangerous lack of privacy

Charles the head maintenance person simply walked into my room without knocking when there was no maintenance issue. He then asked to see my key card and began rifling through my things until he found it. He then inexplicably asked me questions about if the key worked in an accusing tone as if I were there without paying. He saw the receipts immediately below the key card! There is no excuse for this and I am told this method of entry is illegal under Texas law. If anyone chooses to stay at the Houston Kuykendahl location, be aware that this could happen to you as well. The rest of the staff is very professional but I feel they are bullied by this Charles character. Again all should be aware of this during check in.

InTown Suites My (6) months tax’s money

On 7/30/21 around 12:30pm I Mr Donald M. Richardson stop by the office at 90 oxmoor Rd Birmingham AL 35209 where I have lived and paid rent for (182) days and it was my (6) months now I'm a resident and by the mayor Randall Woodfin office and the State of Alabama tax revenue office told me Mr Donald M. Richardson that I'm should get back ALL of the $1.700.00 dollars tax's money but the manager Mrs LaQuenta Dillard stated she was NOT going to give me back ANY money and she wasn't going to tell me how much money it was in credit because she was going to keep it the money and the paperwork and one of her overnights worker Mr darrell was in the office at the time he heard the hold Conversation this manager have scam me out of my tax money it's called by the police theft by deception ! she stated that I have (28) free days but still wouldn't give Any paperwork to this day 8/1/21 @ 4:34pm I need someone the corporate office to call or email me ASAP cell number [protected] and email me at [protected]@icloud.com and thanks for your help!.

I have a problem with roaches, management holding people mail, going in people mail, sending people to the wrong room. I seen management sticking money in there pocket.

InTown Suites Room assigned being dangerous and unhealthy. I need to evacuate due to health concerns.

My name is Juan Antonio Bernabeu and my phone number is [protected].
I recently have to come to San Antonio due to my new job/occupation here. When I reserved this room (313 at In-Town Suites) I was told that it was a clean room in good conditions, upon arrival I noticed that the door located from the bedroom to the bathroom was in very bad conditions. Both side panels have literally felt apart and every time the door is open more of the door more of the panels come undone. In addition, there is a substantial amount of mold in the joints between the bathtub and the bathroom doors. I tried to clean it, but there is just no way I can do it. The extractor in the restroom is extremely dirty and is not working. There are flies dead and their bodies are hanging. The toilet bowl is dirty as well. Again, I tried cleaning it, but I am 51 and my lungs are not longer that great. In addition, when I rented the place I was told that this room had fast speed connection. This is not correct. The speed in the room is less than 5 mbps which is not a "high speed" connection as described by state guidelines and other descriptions.

Desired outcome: I am leaving on Saturday, June 12 at 10:00 am. I would like to be refund it for the days I will not be using this room anymore. I have had to rent another location that meet my needs of cleanliness.

Worker walk into our room why we was sleeping at 12:10 am and when she realized we was in the room she say sorry but she was with 2 other people and we heard them say when they came back pain medication was tooking from my room and we being disrespect and lie to by worker please call me at my name is maureen [protected] thank u for the help if u can

InTown Suites Suite not efficient for extremely high payment

folio 20529 suite#207 RESIDENT: Chelsey Sherrell

I am writing this complaint in regards to the service I am receiving, as well as the price in which I have been/ am paying for this service. On 4/5/2021 at approx. 4:00 am, I received a knock on the door via management responding to what I believe was a call from the residents below us. Management advised us that he was responding to excessive water in our bathroom. While we were asleep, our leaking toilet, undiscovered by us until this point, had flooded the entire bathroom floor, as well as part of the kitchen area. Management advised us he would return with the snake, which he did, and he proceeded to temporarily fix the issue. I advised him that there was also an issue with the kitchen sink, which involved me to have to lift and empty a bucket I had placed beneath the leak, every so often. I also advised him that the bars holding up the sink (which the caulk distributed prior to us remained visible amongst), had also come loose and fallen from. He then advised us that his maintenance worker would be coming the NEXT DAY to fix the toilet and sink bars, and said nothing in regards to the leak beneath the sink. Today is 4/15/2021 and I have heard nothing nor received any response regarding any of this. Now the sink has had a leak this entire length of our stay, as well as the toilet having some issues. However, I have just started to have to turn the water on/off at the fixture beneath the toilet every single time myself or my significant other uses the restroom since that leak on 4/5/2021. We have both tripped over the fallen sink bars several times. As well as the issue that I am not able to have my 9 year old son over at all due to all these issues. Prior to the toilet and sink bars, he had visited and slept on a blow up mattress. I had only just recently discovered as well, that the room next to us, having 2 beds, is the same price I am paying for my 1 bed. I was not advised this at check in, and it would have been beneficial to have a bed for my son. But this is not the issue at hand. The issue at hand is that I have been here numerous months. I have never had a problem with payment, or anything else of the sort. I have been paying nearly 300 dollars a week for a room that is pasted together by caulk (the toilet also has visible caulk), and is falling apart. The desired resolution in which I would like to see this complaint come to, would be that I may receive a refund on at the very least, part of my stay being EXTREMELY overcharged, and maybe be allowed a more fitting rate due to all these facts. I would be extremely grateful if this were to be resolved in such a manner. Thank you much for your time in attending to this complaint.

Desired outcome: Listed above however desired outcome would be to receive a refund on what i have been overcharged on, as well as a more reasonable rate.

InTown Suites No water at intown suites on 8530 east independence blvd

I checked in Monday afternoon before 3 pm with KB I believe his name is, and he said he sent a couple times about this I am assuming he sent to corporate office. No one gave me paperwork or let me know when I checked in that there was no water so most of the day I had no water on Monday I was suprised and shocked since no one told me till after it was turned off. I would like to be credited for a free night instead of checking out Monday that I can Tuesday. I am in room number 334 if need to contact me, Please email me back about this soon as received. I am a good customer been coming here for awhile, I would like to continue so please give me the credit for a free night. Thanks again from Melissa Preslar, I hope to hear from you soon.

InTown Suites room

Hi
I called in to reserve a upgraded room and I was told to come in the following day before 7pm to complete my reservation. When I went to the office to complete my reservation, the lady in the office booked me for a renovations room not the upgraded room. So, that is the first problem. I accepted the room because she said that's all was available. When I got in the room I noticed roaches in the shower room and by the kitchen cabinet on the floor. I shouldn't have to kill roaches at a hotel.

InTown Suites no screens in windows

I've have been living here in Elk Grove Village since May and I have been treated extremely well by everyone who works and lives here. I only wish we can get screens for the windows. The building needs about 30 screens. Also I wish for garbage cans at all the exit doors. I'm alway cleaning up after everybody cause no garbage cans except the large disposal on the other end of the building.

InTown Suites room 311

On Friday August 25 a lady in 312 sink fell off her wall and flooded my room which is 311 and her room 312 I went to the front desk to notify them that my room was flooded he said ok later on a maintenance guy came and got the water off the hardwood part of the floor with the wet vac. And told me him or the property manager on duty would come back and do something about the carpet in my room which is 311 well the maintenance guy finally comes back about an hour later to get the water up by using a carpet cleaning machine I asked how long will it take to dry he said he didn't know and for me to open my door and window and let it air dry I went back to the front desk and ask to be moved and I was denied I asked to speak with the property manager and I was denied as well the front desk guy stated he's not gonna do nothing for you so theirs no need for you to talk to him well here it is Sunday and my floor is still wet and it stinks in here really bad and I'm paying $260 for this room and I have to deal with this type of treatment and why are we paying $260 a week and the sign clearly says $230 weekly rate I have been leaving my door open and window open when I'm here but when I leave I can't leave it open because of my things my get stolen can you please resolve this issue before I take action and call the better business bureau and I have black mold in my bathroom around the tub I had to put blankets down so I can walk around my room because the floor is still wet

InTown Suites customer service

I have reached out several times over the past 2-3 weeks about this location and the people that work here. No one has taken the time to respond to me so that me concerns were addressed. I have reached out via phone and via email. As a resident who paid to stay at this location for over 6 weeks I must say that I would never recommend to stay with this company. I can honestly say that you all do not care about your customers needs. I left this unprofessional place and would NEVER go back again. I have made a complaint to the BBB and will keep complaining until I am heard.

I have filed, voiced and relayed several complaints concerning the property Manager at the Intown Suites on Gunbarrel rd. chattanooga, TN. Within those complaints are evidence of illegal activity on the part of the property manager, dating back to October 2020. I have not received so mush as an email. Is it common practice to allow this type of behavior from an associate?

InTown Suites staff

Last night I had a staff member trying to break into my room. I was in here alone (female). Went to front desk this morning and was treated like I was a liar. I told the guy at front desk I seen this guy doing this to other rooms the other day. But hey would not listen. I paid for 2 more nights here as I have no where else to go at the moment. But very unhappy about this service.
I'm not a liar I found the guys shoes hat, and paperwork outside my door with customer info on it I took pics for proof. No action was taken to investigate this matter but rudeness. This guy would have robbed me if I was not here or worse if he got in while I was here alone. I'm afraid to be here now and leave. I will never stay here again!

InTown Suites unethical behavior

There was another incident today 8-9-19 the same representative Shawnte. I went to renew my week and she continued to ask me about the fee when I told her that i would not have it all i would pay towards it because I was off work from a heart attack. I told her that it would have been paid had her or the other employee would have told me when i had someone to pay it when I was in the hospital she then proceeded to say Well if your daughter would not have thrown the trash out the window you wouldn't have the fee. And I told her that she was very rude and if her and her collegue would have paid attention the fee would have been paid. She then started to yell and say she was not rude she has tried to help me. Keep in mind there is a lobby full of guest. I then told her that every review on the website is about her and her attitude she said she didn't give a damn about what it said. I told her that they call me every Friday to renew the room why didn't she call me when she seen that it was a past due balance or call to let me know that my daughter's breast pump was just sitting there. She said Clearly no one was in the room which was not true I have a 1 yr old baby in there along with my 17 year old daughter she continued to yell and told me that I didn't have to stay there I could leave I told her I was not going anywhere and she just took my money she continued to yell and said that she will call the police I told her I was not going anywhere and she just took the money off of my card. I did call her a disrespectful [censored] [censored] because she continued to yell and be unprofessional and threatened to call the police all of this in front of people. I walked out of the lobby to avoid me either going to jail or risking my kids and grandchild getting put out while i was at work. She then came from behind the desk out in the hall and yelled you can get out today you will now be back next week. I have been staying here for over 6 weeks and i have had nothing but issues with this location. I paid $315.00 for 5 weeks and still paying money now to be treated like this from an employee who has received NUMEROUS OF COMPLAINTS ON HER and no one has done anything about it. And I pay too much money to have to go through what i have been going thorough and we feel uncomfortable. I have made several complaints on line and have gotten no response. I will be finding another place to stay since she said that we will not be there next week. I advise you all to pay attention to who you have working for your company. I would personally not refer anyone at this location and the way my concerns have not been addressed is not a good look for the company... And what is even more upsetting is that no one has reached out to me about my issues.

The front desk person Shawnte is very rude. I have made several complaints and none have went answered. The first complaint was the people that stayed above me. Constantly making noise like they were coming through the floor. I work 2nd shift and this noise goes on when i get off, through out the night and in the morning. I called 4 times before contacting the front desk person during the day only for her to say with an attitude in these words Well i never knew anything about it. First of all the ghetto [censored] girl gets off at 7pm so she wouldn't be notified I called the person that was on call and a report was NEVER filed. The second issue is the guy Bill came and said if you don't want to be charged a littering fee then we need to get the diapers that was thrown out of the window and they had it on camera. She didn't show me the footage and on top of that when I sent my daughter down there to get the diapers they was not even the brand that my granddaughter used. And the dumb [censored] still charged me $50.00. Then there is the housekeepers that don't clean and walks around hitting herself in the head. They come in that room one day a week and I have to literally sit there and tell her how to clean. She does not do anything but spray some [censored] on the sink and toilet. Does not vacuum does not sweep before mopping don't clean the shower I have left [censored] out just to see if she will clean it and she didn't. She only brought 1 set of linen for a two bed room and got a attitude with my daughter when she asked her for another set. I reported her about not cleaning since I was paying $315.00 a week and the only response i got was she is old. I don't give a [censored] if she is old or not she don't need that job if she can't do it. So they put the $50.00 balance on my room I had some health issues and was not working so I had assistance with getting the room paid. By this time my tax credit kicked in Shawnte stated that she put a letter under my door about the balance which she didn't, when it was time to renew the room I asked her what was needed to be paid to get me thorough the week. She stated $240 something dollars. I go down to the office 4 days later and her words was I got bad news Anthony didn't charge you for the trash fee. But she was the one who took the payment when it was time to renew the room. It is not my fault that 2 employee's over looked that was not charged especially her since she is the one who put the charge on there in the first place. She said it would go on the following wees rate. I am pissed! Because the [censored] didn't even have the courtesy to call the room and let me know. S$270.00 is a big difference from $320.00 I was very pissed and contacted corporate 2 times and have YET TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE. I shouldn't have to pay because of their [censored] up. Last but not least, my daughter had a breast pump delivered there and NO ONE FROM THE FRONT OFFICE CONTACTED THE ROOM TO INFORM US THAT IS WAS THERE. It was delivered at 11:49am 8-8-19 after calling several times i finally left a message around 4:30 5pm and that is when my daughter was told that it was there. They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC. For the past 6 weeks she has displayed NOTHING but a nasty [censored] attitude. One person that worked there looked like he was on drugs. Then the 2 housekeepers came in one day and one said no one is supposed to be in the room when they clean. [censored] that if the [censored]es don't clean while I am in there watching I know they are not going to do anything if I am not in the room. I would not recommend this place to a [censored]ing bed bug or stray animal. I feel like she has a problem with me don't like me or whatever because I spoke my mind and making my stay uncomfortable. What is sad is no one has reached out to me from the corporate office and I have emailed 2 times and left messages. I am waiting on the availability for my house THIS RAGGEDY [censored] PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT THE [censored] DOWN

I did call her a disrespectful [censored] [censored] because she continued to yell and be unprofessional and threatened to call the police all of this in front of people. I walked out of the lobby to avoid me either going to jail or risking my kids and grandchild getting put out while i was at work. She then came from behind the desk out in the hall and yelled you can get out today you will now be back next week. I have been staying here for over 6 weeks and i have had nothing but issues with this location. I paid $315.00 for 5 weeks and still paying money now to be treated like this from an employee who has received NUMEROUS OF COMPLAINTS ON HER and no one has done anything about it. InTown Suites management

I have lived at the intown suites for over two months...I have been asked by management many times over for pain pills and drugs...Me and my husband both have been in several confrontations and one lead to my husband going to jail...and management has called my personal phone and threatened me and my family to harm us and then lied to the officers when I called the law and reported her she told them she only asked me for money and this has all started because she had me move into her personal home then her son threatened to murder my husband so we moved back into our room that was still in our name...this is starting to get scary and dangerous

No matter where you are your rights are important. If you can call the police and press charges. That is so wrong.

InTown Suites property manager and environment

So me and my fiance have been staying here for almost a year now. Thank God we are moving tomorrow because I have never seen such discrimination and disrespectful service. We have seen them change management and since this new guy JC got in here it's been horrible. Floods, prostitution, drug deals, homeless men staying in parking lot and on breezeways to rooms, and hardly any notice for property maintenance or room maintenance. He has a big disrespect for females or kids of any age and will lie and ignore them to dismiss them from rooming there. He is overly nice to any male who wants to room or has an issue here which is just terrible. We do not have anything against homosexuals at all but it's crazy when you discriminate just because the other party is not a man or not attracted to him. I hope you get him replaced soon with another female because this property needs help.
