Intercity Xpress Incorrect order

I paid a lot of money for a wrong bus it didn't even have a toilet.from Pretoria to Durban no toilet,no air conditioning and we stopped for almost an hour because it spilt all the water im not happy with the service i got.date :5th of October

Intercity Xpress Driver arrogance

My sister in law travelled from Port Shepstone to JHB Airport on the 1st April 2022 at 19h30.

When the bus arrived (on time) there wasn't any Intercity logo on it, there was a small sign or the windscreen portraying the Intercity logo and Durban Margate. We weren't sure if this bus was still going to Margate (as the sign stated), we noticed that nobody was getting off. At this point the driver used his hooter and grufly said "are you getting on?". I asked him if this bus was going to JHB Airport he barked this responce "East Rand look on the window, when I informed him that it reflected Durban, Margate. He turned the sign around hastily. Up until this point the driver had only moved from his seat to turn the sign around and back onto his seat again.

Usually the driver gets out if the bus opens the luggage compartment, checks your ticket and shows you which compartment to loads your luggage into. Some of the drivers even load the luggage for you. I had to once again ask if he was going to the airport and still his responce was East Rand (with a louder voice). I asked my sister in law to show the driver sitting behind the stearing wheel her ticket. He basically snatched the ticket out of her hand and only then proceeded to get off his behind and open the luggage doors. There were other people also enquiring if the bus went to Midrand and He was just as rude to them as he was to us.

In all my days of using Intercity this is the worst arrogant, obnoxious, unhelpful and cheeky bus driver I have ever experienced.

Intercity Xpress terrible customer experience

I phoned Intercity head office on the 04th of July 2019 to book a 07:30am bus on Friday the following day using a McDonalds voucher. I couldn't get any assistance because their two call centre consultants hung up on me, I then went to Intercity Park Station where I met a consultant by the name of Sethu/Esethu. He emailed the head office and asked me to pay R160.00 difference to book a 12:15pm Monday bus from Durban to Johannesburg because 07:30am Friday bus was already full because of their delay. Sethu told me that head office will forward me with a reference number. I never received any booking confirmation and I decided to do a follow up with Lineo the supervisor. She told me that Sethu booked a Tuesday bus instead of Monday and they suggested that I should go to Park Station for a refund. Some lady who was assisting me using a middle computer got irritated asked who Yolanda is when I told her that Yolanda asked me to go to Park Station for a refund and she started swearing at me asking who do I think I am, I'm not a celebrity she doesn't even know if I'm a he/she, she then asked me to call Yolanda using my phone when I told her that she's not doing me any favour. She even refused to give me her name when I asked for it. She chased me away and told me to come the following day when Sethu is there.

I have been waiting for the bus from Joburg at Hopetown Northern cape for 2 hours. It’s really sad hiw intercity is inconsiderate of people. No communication has been sent to customers to let them know that the bus is late. Very inconsiderate. The bus was supposed to pick me up at 21:20 on 2 December 2023
