Impark Parking parking ticket

I parked my car in the lot across the street from the medical building at 13737-96 Ave surrey bi. I paid $4.00 and received a receipt stating the time I paid which was 11:23 am and it said it was good until 2:23 pm. At 12:11 I was issued a ticket for nonpayment. This was on 08/08/2017. I do not understand why they issue me this ticket. It states my plate was not registered. Well you have to give your plate # before you get the receipt. I could not get a hold of anybody at the number provided so I took pictures and now here I am doing it online. Please can you void this ticket I did nothing wrong.Thank you

Did you call the phone # on the bottom? Was your ticket on driver's dash front? Because the lazy person scanner only scans the driver's side, did you double- checked the lot matched the medical bldg across the street? Does it have any assigned parking spot?
Isn't there a Impark Office you can go to anyways? Or you can go online? It's really no big deal b/c it's IMPARK you don't have to pay it, ...Just as long as you the next time you park at Impark you don't get a Ticket again OR you'll get towed!

Impark Parking unprofessional conduct and improper ticket issue

On canada day (july 1 2017) me and my girlfriend went for supper at the keg. We parked IN the kegs parking lot. We recived a ticket from impark. When i went into the keg to find out why i got the ticket they informed me that the impark enployee failed to pick up the safe plate list from them. (the keg forgot to add my plate but thats a separate issue) i have called the regina sask. Line 4 times today to get this ticket cancelled but on one answered the phone. (i let it ring over 12 times each call) the keg told me they were going to take care of the ticket. In order for me to be satisfied in this matter i would like to see the following done. 1) ticket cancelled (sask plate 258 HMX) 2) taken off my record as having recevied it in the first place. 3) the employee that issued be reprimanded for not even looking for a list and 4) the keg should get any money returned for the inproper tickets issued.

Impark Parking impark edmonton, vancouver customer service

I received a letter in the last week of March advising me that, as of May 1st, the rate in my lot (lot 333) would be increasing from $150/mo to $175/mo. I called on April 5th to cancel my parking pass without a problem. Today, May 1st, I had a withdrawal from my account for $26.25. When I called to inquire about the $$ taken from my account, I was told it was "late payment" for the increase that occurred in April. I advised that, no, the increase was to occur in May, which is why I cancelled in April before the 7th of the month. I asked to speak to a supervisor who in turn had to leave me a voice mail telling me the same thing. It is clear to me that an error occurred somewhere. Firstly, I don't believe for a second that Impark would wait until May 1st to recover money that I supposedly owed them: if the increase occurred in April, it would have come out with my regular April 1st payment or very soon after. Secondly, if the increase were to occur as of April 1st, then I should have had the letter by Feb 28th because - AS YOUR LETTER STATED - you are required to give ONE MONTH'S WRITTEN NOTICE. In that case, because I rec'd the letter in the last wk of March, you broke your own policy. In short, please recognize your error and refund the money to my account. ANYONE ELSE FROM LOT 333 in Edmonton as angry as I am today? I can't be the only one this happened to! If I am, then that's even sketchier.

Impark Parking valet parking

I parked at the Marriott valet garage at 520 Powell today. I have a brand new car (less than 1 week old). I had a clear ticket with no markings. When I showed the valet the damaged to my right rear bumper when he returned my car he went to the other employee, Angel, who I witnessed draw an "x" on the ticket I had given him and then try to tell me that the "x" was there so it was damaged when I dropped it off. This is fraud and I am so disappointed that sexism still exists.

Impark Parking I am complaining about a supervisor

I received a ticket for expired meter, but I left my car to get change I only had $20 bill cash. I went to the closest store to get change and feed the meter. When I came back to feed the meter, not even 10 mins I already got a ticket. I called customer service to explained what happened and the representative Lamia, said that it was just bad luck and unfortunate. She said I was suppose to get a PRINTED RECEIPT shower proof of payment. I told her it's a meter that accepts only coins and no receipts print out. I told her to check the camera and see if I had intention to come back and pay or not. She informed me that lot had no cameras. I told her I wanted to speak with the supervisor because clearly she didn't know what lot I was talking about. So I spoke with Brandon, staff #26, and he was very UNHELPFUL and rude to me. He made me pissed off even more, acting like a smart ### and telling me "I don't know why they made me a supervisor". I cannot believe his attitude and behavior as a supervisor presenting your company. And he claimed he was being helpful to me? Most managers and supervisor would try to resolve the issue not make customers more pissed off. He was very unprofessional, rude, and being a smart ### with me. It just seem like he was just rushing me off the phone right after he got my payment. I've never ever had to file a complaint about a supervisor before. I have a reference number of the phone call I made. #NOF-171567

Impark Parking impark claim no.: [protected] (vehicle damaged in impark garage, washington dc)

Let me start by letting you know that I have been a monthly parking tenant at an Impark location in Washington, DC for the past 16 years, and within that time period have abided by the regulations of the establishment. The on-site managers know me on a professional level and recognize the extent of my integrity. The same managers saw firsthand damage to my vehicle, which was reported to them on the same day of occurrence. They could not conclude how it was caused -- however, we know without question that the damage occurred on the grounds of this establisment. To that end, they are willing to attest to the parameters surrounding this incident, which lends great credence to the matter at hand. At the manager's suggestion, I filed an incident report and provided a very reasonable repair estimate of $500 to cover the damage. It was initially denied due to insufficient findings. Thereafter, I submitted a second request for consideration, and this time I was told there are signs posted throughout the garage indicating that Impark is not responsible for vehicle damage. There is one sign on the Western Avenue side of the building with this notice, which has miraculously appeared but zero signs at all other entrances. In order for customers to be properly informed of Impark's policies, it should be visibly posted at all entrances/exits. The attached photographs show the entrance on the Jenifer Street side of the building (where I've entered/exited routinely) devoid of any sign notifying the public of the policy referred to above. I respectfully request a satisfactory resolution of the matter which would include reimbursement of the repair cost to my vehicle in the amount of $500. (Copy of the repair invoice TBS.)

Feel free to contact me at [protected]@aol.com if additional supporting documentation is needed.

Impark Parking expired receipt

We live in Edmonton, AB. My pregnant wife had to see her doctor for her regular check-up. We have been using that parking lot for about 10 years (since our first child was born). Our children's pediatrician is also in the same location so we park there at least once a month. We pay for our parking every time according to the Impark rules. We have never had any issues until January 21, 2016. She came in for her check up and paid $3.00 for 1.5hours. This has always been the case and she always managed to make it within this time frame. However, on this particular date, her doctor was delayed and by the time she made it into his office she had 10minutes left. Her appointment went a bit longer due to some complications so when she came out she found a ticket on her windshield for $75.00. She came out 40minutes after her ticket expired but the ticket was written 18mintues after expiration. She called Impark and they said that all they can do is reduce the ticket to $20.00 but they will not fully revoke it. We feel we are being robbed. She left 40minutes later, which would amount to an additional $1.17, not $20.00. We understand if people take advantage and don't pay for their parking at all, but to charge a loyal customer for staying a bit longer on one occasion is ludicrous.

I originally wrote the complaint. After contacting the Better Business Bureau, Impark looked into this and below is their reply:
Good afternoon:
First off all, congratulations on your new baby on the way!
I looked over your case, as you’ve stated you’ve been parking at that lot for and are aware of the parking lot’s agreement when you park there. Since the doctor ran late, ideally your wife would have went to add more time when there was 30 minutes left or even right about when she was called in with 10 minutes left.
Regardless, the notice was served 18 minutes after expiry which is a generous margin of time. We were empathetic about the circumstance and the fact that you’ve been loyal customers for so many years, so the violation amount was reduced by over 73% down to $20.
The notice your wife received is a valid notice, therefore we cannot offer further reduction.
Best regards.

To which I replied:
I must say that I am disappointed in your reply. I recall when Impark was much more decent and had some human compassion. A valid reason would have fully revoked a ticket. So a 73% drop as you mention means nothing to us loyal customers.
If you put it in terms of money, then we have been robbed by Impark. My wife received a ticket 18 minutes after her stub expired. She came out to her car at about 12:11pm, which is 35 minutes after her stub expired. If Impark charges $3.00 for 1.5 hours (90 minutes), then we only owe Impark $1.17. Hence, it is NOT fair to charge us $20 for 35 minutes.
And that is why we decided to call Impark and try to resolve this. We could have easily thrown the ticket out and never bothered to pay (like many people do since there is no obligation to pay for violations). But we are decent and fair people and chose not to do that. I guess lesson learned on our end.
So since we are fair we were hoping Impark would be too.
And as for the ‘options’ my wife had:
1. My wife has been using your facility 2 to 3 times a month for the past 8 years. This is the first time ever that her stub expired. Hence, the thought never even came to her that her time might be up. The clinic does not have a clock.
2. I’m not sure how a doctor’s office runs things in your province, but here in Alberta, if a doctor calls you in from the waiting room, you don’t have a choice of saying: “My meter is almost up. I will go pay and you hold my place in line even though there are other patients waiting.”
3. One of the options is to pay by phone. Again, it did not even occur to her that her time might be up and she has an old phone with no internet option.
As I mentioned before, she would have been able to come out on time if her doctor did not find an issue with the pregnancy and hold her there longer. That is why her time went over. So please hold your congratulations. I did not find it to be sincere.
Good day.

Impark Parking parking issue

On October 24, 2014 at 6:53 am I inserted my credit card in the Impark ATM located at the Canada Revenue Agency located at 875 Heron road Ottawa; the payment transaction was completed successfully however, the ATM machine did not print the receipt of payment. I parked my car in the visitor area without displaying the receipt on the windshield. On the same day and about 9:45am I went to the Impark office and my building an informed Impark Staff member Mr. Levac about the parking issue and he told me not to worry. Later in the day when I went for lunch I noticed That Impark have issued a parking violation and attached it to my windshield. I returned to the parking office and demanded explanation for the ticked from Mr. Levac and at first he denied telling me to not worry about the ticket and what he meant that he would look at the issue. At that moment we both proceeded to the parking lot and he looked at few parked cars and decided that there were no issues with ATM and refused to cancel the parking ticket. The next day I went to see him again try to discuss the issue with him but this time He wanted a proof of payment to cancel the ticket as if my credit card company will issue a special statement for me to please Impark. I tried on many occasions to contact the main Impark office but I guess their staff are trained not respond to calls or return phone calls related to complaints. I had no choice but to go to the Provincial Court to dispute the ticket. I waited almost a year before the court date and I won my case. Impark was awarded a contract by the previous Conservative Government to manage Federal Government parking lots with license to rob the public at will and I am glad that they lost the election. Always fight for your rights in Provincial courts when you get a fraudulent parking ticket from Impark.

Notice# 01D968396, rec'd at 10:10am, parking slip on my dash expiration time 11:13am. Notice says parked in multiple stalls that I want to dispute. To the left of my auto was a concrete wall and when I opened my door It made contact with the wall. I was not using multiple stalls and expect to receive a refund for the ticket I paid ($45.00) This ticket is very annoying and I just can't understand why I rec'd. it. Please check to see if a picture was taken to verify what I am saying.

Impark Parking paul cuthino

Paul Cuthino, Impark Senior Manager = CROOK!

To make a long story short, these people are crooked. When you sign up for a parking pass they gladly take your money and do not tell you that when you cancel you have to pay them one whole month for free. Basically after leaving my employer, I was informed that I have to provide 1 month notice! Is that crazy or what? Impark loves to screw people over. This is not the first time. I am considering getting a lawyer for this matter as they have really pissed me off now. The senior manager Paul has no integrity and is forcing me to pay for a service that I can no longer use!
SHOW ME THE CONTRACT I SIGNED PAUL! Oh wait a second, I never signed one! CROOOOOOOOKKKKSSSSS - that is exactly what they are. I will recover my money at any cost at this point. Do not ever let anyone cheat and bully you. IMPARK=CROOKED PEOPLE and that is the bottom line. BUYER BEWARE!

Problem with your statement is... you have a lot of bad apples who work there at Impark who are rude and don't care. I just got off the phone with one of them. And no one is willing to help. They lie.
I am looking to contact the ombudsman re my matter as well as the president of this company. You assume people are signed up to your site. Not everyone is signed up. I'm not, because I travel a lot and I rarely have Internet access where I go. Only time I've ever seen a terms and conditions is when I've signed up 20 odd years ago. Never once have I seen a new one.
Just saw the exorbitant fee you charge on late fees that were never there before. 35.5% is criminal.
I doubt you'd be helpful and post an email for the president of Impark. The person I spoke to claims she is a manager and there is no one above her. Lies. As I saw on a company directory there are many positions above her. She is not even listed in the directory.
Maybe the OP wants accountability that Impark is sorely unwilling to give. Maybe this is the only way he has found he can do so.

I am an Impark employee and I can tell you that this complaint unfairly targets one of my colleagues who is just explaining to this customer the terms of the monthly parking contract that he entered into. It is very clear from the Terms and Conditions (http://tinyurl.com/9bmsyf3) how to cancel you parking, and in fact, if you cancel prior to the 7th of the month, they will let cancel for the end of that month. This individual would have received a copy of the Terms and Conditions - everyone does, and everyone has to agree to them prior to signing up - that's the system!
Regardless of whether you think the terms and conditions are right or not, it is unfair and totally inappropriate of the complainant, Ali Rafiaie, to publicly attack one individuals reputation in such a manner.

Impark Parking robbing #

Bought a ticket and placed it face up on the dash, yes it was in the middle but it was face up on the dash. Get a ticket saying it was not fully visible. That is BS. They are just robbing ### and they wonder why people hate car park attendants. Why doesn't Impark try to do the right thing instead of persecuting the people who pay for the parking and make their carparks less of a easy place for thieves to operate.

Impark Parking parking ticket

I was ticketed today after parking outside a building during a meeting. My meeting only lasted 1 hour. When I arrived back at my car I realized that I was ticketed by IMPARK for $42.61 exactly and a DEMAND to pay this within a week otherwise it would cost $74.15.
Where they get these ridiculous numbers from I have no idea. Anyhow, quite upset I managed to find a gentleman from the parking lot and complained that there was NO MACHINE to take a TICKET anywhere and that I was not familiar with the lot and honestly did not even know it was a paid parking for a business park!
The man told me I would have to contact IMPARK with the toll free # on the back of NOTICE and sure enough after wasting 30 minutes on hold I was able to get a hold of a person at IMPARK that really did not care to help me in anyway whatsoever and told me she could reduce the fee down to $39.00 lol! The entire ticket was $42.61 wow what a huge savings! Bunch of ###s if you ask me. I have been driving for 18 years and have parked in pay parking many times and I never experienced this bad of a service. They are very deceiving and have nobody that you can easily access to get help. I encourage them to even try to collect $42.61 or $74.15 lol, if its not paid in a week:))
I feel bad for the poor guy that wrote the ticket, get a real job buddy!
I have emailed IMPARK with a hope that they will negotiate the notice. Otherwise they can get ZERO dollars and ZERO cents!
Last time I wrote about any company was BELL a couple years ago and they never saw me back as a customer because they really aggravated me. As for IMPARK, I guess if they don't want to reduce the bill, they can do whatever necessary to collect blood from a stone. Collection company's don't scare me. We have a right to dispute charges if we feel necessary and today IMPARK made a huge mistake.

Impark Parking parking

Convenient Parking?
Posted on August 4, 2011 by convenientparkinginvancouver
I am a disable single mother and I need wheelchair.
And I do not have credit card:(

Last week, I went to Crab Park in Vancouver, I called Impark beforehand and they informed me about the parking.

When I tried to pay for the parking, you know what? No meter, No attendant.

There are a sign mention I have to pay by phone with a credit card

The only way to pay is with a credit card and a cellphone.

I have NO cellphone.

I have NO credit card.

In their website, it said:

Pay by Phone is a suite of services designed to provide additional convenient ways for our customers to pay, either through the use of a phone, or over the internet. …

Impark, Thank you for not mention about the “pay be phone only method”

Can I, a disable single mother without credit cards, using your additional convenient ways and the only way to pay for the parking?

Impark, I love your services.

Impark, I love your convenient ways

Impark, thank you for making my life more convenient.

Impark Parking parking ticket

Parked my car April 27 2011 in a parking lot on the south west side of Yonge and Shepperd Ave. in Toronto. The parking meter machine right behind the spot I parked in, was broken in the sense that it would not accept payment and print out a ticket. My credit card actually got stuck in the machine ...I panicked as I was travelling the out of the country the next day. I had to fight with the thing to manually pull my card back out!
Hence, I went to my appointment, I was not more then 30 minutes and came back to a $39.15 ticket with notification that it would go up in price to $74.15 if it was not payed in 14 days. I saw no one in charge in the lot when I arrived and or when I departed. Funny how they come out of nowhere to give you a ticket in your absence?

When I returned from vacation I moved households ...I did plan to write to Impark and explain the unfairness of the situation ...then post office went on strike. ...and then honestly I forgot about it.
I'm now faced with a form of extortion ...pay the money $74.15 or get bad credit! (They offered to lower the fine to a mere $39.15)

Highway robbery to say the least... they said I should have called the number on the meter and reported it broken. I do not have a cell phone and is it really my responsibility?
I said I'm reporting it now...who knows if the meter has been fixed?
Do they do this to lots randomly, have broken meters on site and then give out fines?
How many people take the time to call or write and dispute their tickets?
Very unfair and morally wrong. It's shameful!
Their parking meter was broken and I got fined for it!

They should be investigated held accountable! I saw an article on line about a class action lawsuit in 2009...anyone else have complaints about this company?
Strength in numbers!

Sharron

It's not extortion, or highway robbery to say the least.

You parked at a metered spot.

Did not pay,

Got a ticket.

Didn't bother to contact Imperial Parking Canada Corporation whose number is clearly on the meter and report it broken.

Went on a vacation.

Moved households.

Did plan to write to Impark and explain the unfairness of the situation...

Then honestly forgot about it?

Pay the ticket, you certainly deserved it.

Impark Parking inappropriate ticket

I went to meet friends at a downtown restaurant October 14, 2010. I drove into the lot as there was no street parking. The entry gate was down and the sign asked that you press the green button and take a ticket which I did. There was an attendant in the booth. As it was raining I grabbed my umbrella and ran across the street to join my friend. When I returned less than 2 hours later I had a ticket for 12.50 on my window. The parking attendant was gone and somehow I was supposed to have known this would happen and use the automated pay to park station before I left the lot. So if I have a ticket with the intension to pay per hour how can I possibly know that at the witching hour of 6:pm that it turns into a prepay system. What a scam! These people are crooks

My daughter parked my car in a lot operated by Imperial Parking Canada. The machine that dispenses tickets was not working but she left the car parked and thought she might get a parking ticket but was prepared to pay it. When she returned to the car, there wsas no ticket on it so she assumed that she did not get one because their machine was broken. About a month later, with no other notice, I received a "final" notice demanding a payment of $68 within 10 days or the matter would be referred to a collection agency! I paid the fee to avoid the collection process but sent them a registered letter requesting a refund, as recommended by the Government of Ontario branch to whom I expressed my concern. I (not surprisingly) have received no reponse from them.
How can companies keep a license to operate while behaving in such a manner?

Impark Parking parking ticket that I never got!

I'm so disturbed that this is happening! Listen Up! I just got a letter in the mail informing me I owe on an unpaid parking ticket that was issued in Seattle WA on 1-21-09. I can't even remember the last time I was in Seattle! I live in Tenino WA and they had all my vehicle info? How the heck do they get my license number? The company is based out of Canada and I have been ordering things from the UK? I know this is a scam because I never drive to Seattle! They said that If I don't pay it there turning me into collections! I'm so upset and don't know what to do! Has anyone else out there got this lately? What do I do?

The real slap in the face is when you pay for your parking and they still issue you a ticket and wont waive it. Then they call you every day about 8 times to harass you. Impark is rediculous. If that were a private citizen calling you harassing like that they would be taken to court and charged with harassment but since Impark is a large company they just get a 1-888 number to call you, lets check... I have 6 calls today on saturday and they came in at...

Impark is really crazy. They are taking over with how many lots they have now. I think they are fairly lenient on waiving tickets, just take care of it!

If you don't, you can end up getting a huge fine ($100s of dollars) like 6 months later.. it has happed to coworkers of mine..
