IHOP services

Came to get my free pancakes from signing up online with their promotion and the waitress denied my order and tried telling me that I don't know what I'm talking about even after reading the whole coupon from my email! She read about the promotion and the tlfree pancakes plus the location which was the same IHOP I was seated in...the waitress walked away and started laughing saying "welp you can go get free pancakes from somewhere else because you wont be getting them here" Really had the nerves to not acknowledge my presence afterwards! 😠😠😠😠

IHOP no help... poor planning on management

Arrived at 945pm to IHOP restaurant on 5-8-2018. There was one large party seated. 3 tables with 2-3 people . A party of 8 ahead if us ...2 in our party and a party of 8 behind us. We were seated and the others guest seated. Saw only one person waiting tables. Another person trying to take orders a seat people. Hostess also busy waiting tables. Not enough wait staff available. 4 parties from 4 to 8 + were informed per hostess that there was about a 30 minute wait. 3 other parties arrived also after this...poor girls were running there legs off. The people waited about 5 minutes and left. The people seated after us got up and left. I can only imagine the amount of money that was lost tonite due to or attributed no avaiable help. Not pointing fingers..my heart went out to the girls. Another party of 3 came in..waited about 5 minutes before the wait staff was able to get to them..the man was very ugly to the young lady. I apologized for his ignorance the young lady stated thank you. The party that came in behind us wanted to get ugly with the wait staff..raising there voices and talking loudly. They were very rude and obnoxious. We got our food and were kept check on frequently. No problem with meal. We were out by 11 pm. 4 more parties plus left...money no help and irrate customers and money loss= poor management. 1 wait staff scheduled 1 hostess 1 cook staff and 1 wait staff who stayed over to help and was the one who got blasted... Never saw the one working wait staff until we got ready to check out then she come over to apologize.. Lady excuse me but where have you been. I was unable to get the hostess or wait staff that stayed over but my hat is off to them! Someone needs better management training..in this day and time people do not have values anymore.

IHOP sunday afternoon lunch

My last few experiences at IHOP have been absolutely beneath deplorable. What has made the visits even worse is the absolute disregard by the managers even worse. Our first visit, roughly 3 months ago, we found hair in two of our dishes. We were sickened to the point of not being able to finish our meals. The manager said "Ewww, that's gross " and that was the end of that. We paid our bill, and left.
The second visit was two weeks ago after church. It was my daughter, my three grandchildren and myself. We went to IHOP after church. Yes, they were busy but I've never witnessed such mind blowing disservice in my life. It took 20 minutes before a server finally showed up, she took our drink orders then we didn't see her again for another 20 minutes. Finally when she came to take our order, another 30 minutes passed before our meal came out. The two younger children 5 and 3 were served their meals first. The bacon that came with the meal was not cooked all the way. It took another 15 minutes before we were given eating utensils. The server informed us that they were out of silverware and she would have to wash some. Then, came the other 3 meals. My daughter's meal, oddly enough was fine. My grandson and I both ordered eggs. His were supposed to be sunny side up and mine were supposed to be over medium. Both were brought to us cooked in the exact same manner. The yolk on both meals was totally raw! Still clear, no heat had ever touched those eggs. I asked the server to just take the eggs off of our bill because we couldn't eat them . Then came the manager. Hateful, rude, and seemed to come to our table ready to take me on. This " manager " informed me that the eggs were not raw and that's just the way IHOP cooks those orders. So, I was puzzled that two different orders were both " cooked " the same way. RAW. I informed her that I had worked in the food industry, actually managing a breakfast and lunch truck stop and that the eggs were not what we asked for. Her response " maybe a lot of places don't cook them like this, but that's the way IHOP cooks them" .We began to notice many others were complaining as well. I wasnt going to argue with this woman in front of my grandchildren, nor should I ever have felt like I had to defend myself. Not over a 50 cent egg. The manager did tell us we would not have to pay our bill. We left. Since that experience we've had 2 friends that have been and had very similar experiences. I'm shocked and so disappointed. I also know one of the cooks had head lice infestation and the manager was made aware of it and allowed him to continue to work there. This place needs to be shut down. I'm sure it won't be long before it is, but how sad to lose a family restaurant that I loved so much as a kid.

IHOP service and overall experience

My wife and I recently visited(5/6/18) the IHOP restaurant in Clemson after Sunday service. We arrived at 9:40, seated at 9:50 and then waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes for our order to arrive at the table. Prior to our food arriving we began to ask our waitress every 15-20 minutes "how much longer for our wait " due to an appointment 2:30 pm in Charlotte NC (about a 2 hour drive)..each time her answer was "about 10 minutes", by the time our food (cold) arrived at the table, not only was our order wrong but we basically had to leave and was not able to enjoy our meal...On the way out the manager commented to my wife that this (wait) was the norm on the weekends. Very poor job and as I told my wife...this is a one and done visit to this chain.

IHOP unethical behavior

I enter the ihop on 785 flushing avenue brooklyn new york 11206 at 1:09pm sunday 05/06/2018 with a party of 8 people. The hostess said it will be a 20 min wait.
Okay fine as i waited with 4 children in the party i realize that we waited over 40 mins to be seated. So i go to the hostess and ask how much longer. She looks at me and say you just have to wait a little longer. So at this point i ask for the manager. I believe i was fair waiting and all the people before me and after me was being seated.
The manger comes out and tell me i have to wait because they dont have room to seat my party. So at this point i stated i dont think i should be begging ihop to take my money waiting so long for services. At this point another party of 8 come in. The hostess ask me if i wanted to be seated. So i ask are you ready to seat me now. She said well if you dont want the table i will give it to this other party. I dont know why she would think i didnt want the table after waiting an hour to be seated. I could not believe the behavior of the hostess, i say to her why would you think after waiting so long i would not want to be seated her reply was i heard what you said. I was floored i say to her i was not talking to you. Her other coworker say to her why are you acting like that. She said because these people are getting on my nerve. Now let me say it again me and 4 children youngest 14mths twins waited patiently for 50 mins without saying a word to the hostess about the long wait.
I walked out after another mother in my party got very upset about the hostess and manger behavior.
I was there to celebrate my 9 year old birthday. Who was looking forward to having the birthday pancakes.
So as a mother i took my children and guest to another location 253 livingston street, brooklyn ny 11201 . Where the service was much better we waited 5 mins to be seated and had our food 15 mins later .
I dont understand the issue with the location on flushing but i will say if it wasnt for my nine year old i would not give ihop another dime of my money were your treated with such little regards

IHOP not a #1 family fine dining experience

Moved to Virginia Beach, Va my family favorite dining restaurant is Ihop, we've always had fuctions at our old Ihop.. I can not take my family back to this location, because every time when we go loud rap music is coming from back the manager seems to allow this being that one of the servers ask him to change the playlist from his phone so sad WTH!

IHOP server service and attitude

Our server Esperanz was very disrespectful from the beginning, my cousin is highly allergic to dairy/ egg yokes and they refused to make his food with egg whites which is a very big isssuse! Secondly when we tried to apologize she rolled her eyes and proceeded to put in our order rudely, then to make matters worse she went over to the other server and talked about us to which we could here her saying I'm so sick of people today! Came to our table once and it was just a bad experience! Your staff at night are very rude and disrespectful like I said we apologized to her if we came off wrong and she just rolled her eyes!

IHOP management

Hey my name is Marquita Lang and I work for IHOP store 3602 and I'm just not happy they are not giving me my hours that I'm suppose to be working the other day I went to work on a Friday and they cut me at a hour of work I'm not understanding how people that are in school works more days and hours than I do I don't think it's fair how I'm only working 2 days out of a week and only working 1 or 2 hours when I do go work I don't think it's fair. I am a host over night I'm not getting my hours or my money that I'm suppose to get it's not right

IHOP unsanitary and bugs

Hi,
My name is Travis Wilks. My son and I were eating at the Belleville, Illinois 62221 IHOP, our customer service can be back and forth depending on who we receive. We love the waitress, Grace. She's always kind, but we also get the waitress, Danielle who can be very rude and never gives appropriate attention to my family as I while we are dining. Last monday, we picked up the jelly container and my son accidently knocked it over and 3 black bugs crawled out startling us both. As well as a couple weeks ago, a beatle crawled onto our table from behind my wife's seat. We are amazed at how the restaurant re-opened after being shut down for health inspection. Now we are going to corporate. This is disgustingly ridiculous.

IHOP management

Your General Manager in massillon hired her sister . which isnt allowed. Then put her on straight days. When other servers have been waiting year for days. She babies her. And who knows what else they get away with. Brenda also doesnt pay her employees what is promised. So watch your pay stubs... They deny being sisters. I have 7 documents stating otherwise. If needed will provide

IHOP new york cheesecake pancakes

I ordered them online off 2060 union they wasn't looking the picture plus I order them all the time no cheesecake bites it's sloppy the women in the front was rude plus I had to turn around to go get the whip cream I payed for some I didn't get that was 9 dollars I'm really upset about my service poor and unprefessional attitudes and horrible customer service

IHOP customer service, missing food and expired food

Today we order two different food to be delivered and one of the order was missing . As usual this is not the first time IHOP in North Plainfield New Jersey have messed up our orders. However today I decided to file complaint because like I said this is not a first second or third time. What got me upset today was the manager my daughter spoke to on the phone had a very nasty attitude while talking to her. My daughter tried to explain to her that we did in fact placed two different orders because you guys have already taken the money out of both accounts. When I got on the phone with the manager trying to explain to her that we was billed for two separate orders the manager rudely hung up on me. This is very very disrespectful unbelievable and not what you call a customer service. They usually make small errors on all our orders and we usually don't dont bother and let it go. Today they forgot a whole order, on top of that the manager was unprofessional and rude!

IHOP guest services, quality of food

I went to this ihop at about 3:30 in the morning was very tired had been camping and couldn't sleep so we left and came to ihop service was awful asked for a water with my coffee did not receive it I thought I meal came with toast instead I accidentally ordered something got had French toast and then I ordered a side of pancakes also when I asked about what I ordered all she said was that is what you ordered and walked away then I asked her for ketchup and she never brought it I asked after specifically for extra crispy bacon I said there is no such thing as burning my bacon I want it extra extra extra crispy she brought the bacon and it looked like it wasn't even fully cooked so in other waitress came over and said that the cook could not cook it anymore and she was only one that knew how to do it they brought the bacon back 1/2 of it was black the other half was white like it was not All the way cooked There was only 2 other tables there when I got there they were not busy they were all standing around being very loud letting every guest in the place here what they were talking about to of the employees were in prison work release that is fine but gas should not hear your conversations like that expression I when they're not getting good service and they're not being attended to I had went there 2 days prior and got the same kind of service I had to ask for them to take my food off of the bill because by this point I was extremely frustrated I did not touch any of my food they took some of it it off did not apologize for anything and I still had a $23 bill I do not recommend this place Poor management, poor customer service, poor food This was hands down the worst of the worst food industries that I have visited #SMH! I would truly 100% rather go eat Roman nuddles at home then eat here I'm definitely not knockin on Roman nuddles but when your hungry for breakfast you dont want roman nuddles UGH!

IHOP no cooks on sight

I called the Veterans Blvd Metairie, LA location to place an order to go. I was put on hold two times and then was accidentally hung up on. When I called back the employee that answered the phone said she was unable to take any orders to go because no cooks were on sight from 5pm to 6pm. It's a Friday afternoon and I was trying to order dinner for my kids. I thought this was supposed to be a 24 hour establishment. I just can't believe they admitted to me there were no cooks on sight. I was asked to call back in an hour. I took my business else where

IHOP unprofessional management and staff re. gift cards and cash payments

This is my third (3rd) visit to this establishment, I've made every attempt to make excuses for this group of misfits to be successful. Yesterday, the female manager with the gold hair (she never introduced herself) acted as if I got on her last nerve attempting to pay my tab with an IHop Gift card and cash. The manager, nor the staff does not have the knowledge to charge the gift card and use the cash for the balance of the transaction. The second manager a black male (who was on his cell phone during the 45 minutes to pay the tab) never got off the phone to lend assistance. Neither the male or female manager came to the table to apologize for the delay, or explain the circumstances for the delay. The staff seems to be lost when it comes to providing the level of service we receive at the other IHop locations such as Owings Mils, MD. On previous dining nightmares, we received cold food, dirty silverware and dishes, poor service after and extended wait for a table. This is a new establishment which is why I've tried to be patient with the above. The manager with the gold hair is very unprofessional, nasty and needs diversity training, as well as management training. I witnessed her discriminate against a potential hire of a male Latino candidate while I we were waiting for our server to come to the table for our initial encounter of the day. Again, the silverware was dirty and we waited an extended period before making contact with the staff. I want to be a solution to these problems. Please give me a call at [protected] at anytime. I live around the corner from the establishment and want this IHop to be successful. I do not want to drive to Owings Mills, MD when I want to enjoy my chesseburger omlette. Thanks in advance. IHOP mega monster double cheeseburger

I ordered this burger late nite to go and there was nobody else in the restaurant at that hour. When i bit into it it was completely pink on the inside. Totally rare in color and was oozing so much blood that my bottom bun was soggy . It was as if they put the burger on the grill for two minutes and then sent it out. I didnt even eat it since it smelled like raw meat and was a total waste of 15$ I ask to be compensated for my meal please.

IHOP false advertising of hours open!

The new I HOP opened on 1963 W Valencia Rd, Tucson, Az [protected].
Have gone there on several occasions as the sign states open 24 HOURs and they are CLOSED! Even the freeway sign states its 24 hours. Why then is this place running on a different time clock? My husband leaves for work at 2am and has driven by and the place is always closed. If your not going to be 24 HOURs change your dang sign in front of establishment and on freeway exit. To many people are going there only to find it not open!

IHOP Sirloin Steak and Eggs

On April 28th 2018 @ approximately 8:15 p.m. my Grandchildren and I entered the IHOP restaurant # 2108. We were pleasantly greeted by one of the servers and taken to our table. Two of the servers we have had serve us before came to the table to say hello and chat for a brief minute or two. Our server came out and took our orders and all was well. Our server stated his apology for the delay because of the large table, and all was still fine and ok (by my standards). The orders came out in a medium long length of time as there were a couple of student athletic teams that had come in to, and one was still in the restaurant requiring a little extra service. the children began to eat their dinners (their choices were from the breakfast menu as was my order). Upon examining my plate of food I noticed that the eggs I had ordered, over easy, were not soft set but instead the egg whites were still clear and under cooked. I called the server order to point this out to him. He was apologetic and asked how I had ordered the eggs, I replied over easy, he asked if he could get me a replacement for the under cooked eggs to which I replied no that my appetite was pretty well gone because of the time it took to get the order, the fact that the eggs were not served correctly and also because of the extra time it would take to get replacement eggs prepared and brought to me. The server asked if i would like to speak to the manager about the situation, I said yes that I would like to talk with him. The manager came to our table promptly enough I asked him to look at the eggs on the plate and pointed out the clear, uncooked egg whites. He then proceeded to try to tell me that on the menu was the definition of what over easy was and further added that over easy egg whites are served "soft set". I then said this was not the correct meaning of soft set and he wanted to continue arguing the point. I stopped him from further discussion by saying that ... you want to continue to argue this with me... and then i handed him the plate and asked that he leave the table and I added that the customer is always right. He did as I asked and took the plate away and went away, though I could tell that he was not pleased that I would not accept his excuse for the condition of the eggs. The server came back to our table and was attentive, apologetic and tried his best to make up for the demeanor of his manager. The manager did not even offer to discount some of the bill to make up for the unsatisfactory food. I do not feel that I should have been charged full price for under cooked eggs, having my appetite dampened, having a young manager with an inappropriate attitude further ruin my appetite and generally being a boorish young pup. It will be some while before I go back in to this IHOP, and there is only one in my town and not many other places to dine. I will end by saying that the wait staff was excellent and did their best, but their manager let them down by failing miserably to follow the oldest of adages in the business, that being the customer is always right. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

IHOP current management

I am a current employee and I am extremely offended by the way management is caring for this location. I have personally worked my butt off to try and move up in the company from my current position. Instead I have been overlooked twice with almost 6 years management experience. It is becoming a family that is running the location. You have a mom as a manager, her son as a cook, and her daughter is now the other manager. I am not looking to lose my job but I don't believe it is very ethical. Not one person was interviewed for the position from inside the location. Many employees are upset about this but fear losing their jobs so they won't say anything. I just want a fair chance at moving up in the company and now I feel like I have no chance of moving up. It's definitely lowered my morale about even going to work. I love my job and have gone in everytime I am called. I want my job respect me and my qualifications that I can bring in.

IHOP guest service, employee profession, manager attention, manager not available

I walked in me my husband and my 1year son who was striving, we got a table ASAP when we walked in, but than we had to wait forever for a sever and than the sever we're on the floor yelling and talking about not taking anymore tables as they were talking about my family, asked someone could I get some sever and they said I'll get the manager. A other man walked in alone and got helped ASAP by the man who set us. It's like we were just over looked and not important. The place was empty I have pictures to prove, the manager never showed, and the severs Continued to fight over not taking my family's order. its was so rude and mood changing my we packed up my 1year son and left. Since the manager never came out I called to the store speak to the manager on duty, but do remember the place had only 5 tables at the max and from the looks of it they had been heppled.

I had to call twice which I also have pictures of my phone calls made. The second I they answered I asked for a manager again and they said he was busy at the time he couldn't speak with. At this point in frustrated and angry by the complete unprofessional ability of the whole establishment. They asked for my number and name to call me back, but I could tell my issue was not important to them
I have been going to IHOP for years I've never been treated like that I live off of 290 that's the only I had that I will eat it it is ridiculous and despicable for somebody to be treated like that when I'm coming into your establishment to spend my hard earned money it was ridiculous and I would have to pack up my one year-old son and go to a whole Nother place to eat after we already settled there the staff was horrible the manager never show the table that we said I was dirty and I couldn't get anybody to get in get us a drink thank you for listening hopefully we can figure out a solution to this because from the looks of it I probably will never go back to another IHOP establishment. I work in the industry and I would never let any of my employees anybody treat anybody like that I came here to spend money I came here to have a good time with my family and they ruined all of that profession ability was -100 And like I said I have pictures of the inside of the Stabley Schomann showing that they were not busy and I also have screenshots of me calling why they told me that I wasn't able to speak to a manager at the time thank you for your time and listening.
