IHOP time

7601 s Cicero Chicago Il. It is terrible to stop seating an hour before closing. I understand everyone wants to get off on time but then again no one care about the customers. I come here often and always tend to get attitude from servers and get excuses like "it's still early" or "I just started my shift" which is unfair. My poor service I receive sometimes I believe is related to appear younger than I am and dresses unprofessional (basketball shorts or joggers). In reality everything is the opposite I always tip well I'm a Chicago police officer just trying to eat.

IHOP service

My family and I dine in your establishment all the time. We love your food and the servers are normally friendly. On July 29, 2017 our server Josh I think his name was acted as if we were bothering him when I asked him about my daughters pancakes that he didn't bring and the napkins we asked for. Upon leaving we always pay at the register but I was informed that now you pay your server. I preceded to take the money and ticket back to the table and laid it on the table. After waiting on my daughters to come out the bathroom and watched our server tell the manager that he thinks I didn't pay for my check but he had not yet checked the table. He walked over to the table and then came back and told the manager yes she paid. Not only did it make me feel uncomfortable but my 14 year old daughter felt uncomfortable feeling like he accused us of skipping out on the check. I never complain but this didn't sit well with me and had to report it.

IHOP service/ poor quality of management

My family visited a IHOP in Pensacola Florida on Hwy 29, I recall are servers name being called Kelly I believe and at first all was well and the food was great, but as I sat there and watched what was going on around the place I was very destrubed by what I saw . I asked my wife to please excuse me for a minute and I went to the bathroom while I walked to the bathroom I seen our server arguing with one of her fellow employees as I listened at the honorable language coming from this nice but fake server I evaluated her putting her hands on this girl so I go back to my table and tell my wife and 2 small children to gather there things that we where leaving another server took money as we went to the front to cash out, at this time I didn't ever see are orgaianal server again. So I kind of waited around awhile to see if I seen a manager on duty never seen one so we left as we were leaving I went around the wrong way and ended up in the back where I seen our server standing there in the back area I guess so called smoke area but it diffentley was not cigarette' s she and another gentlemen was smoking I continued to act like I was lost to roll down my window and smell the harsh smell. THIS completely was mind blogging I'm on vacation and I've visited many places in my life but I've never incountered what I seen this night. It was a Friday night and pretty busy for a server to even be outside much less smoking whatever she wants. I'm much disappointed not to mention a retired Army Police officer out of Ft. Sill Oklahoma. Little can I say about this restaurant and can only imagine what other things go on that people don't see. I can reasure you I will never be back as IHOP is suppose to be a family restaurant. And I will be posting this until I get the right people involved. Thank you so much.

IHOP night shift manager

Went to have breakfast at ihop which I knew better then to go to ihop specially in Downtown Los Angeles. Anyhow not only was the manager super high that he is so stoned he cant do his job right let alone professionally, he's what I can tell and hear smsmokin weed in the office, im halfway through eating my meal, he comes slaps the reciept on the table as if he is hurrying me up, in a empty resturant. I asked for him to wait till I am finished, not only did he began to argue, and tell me to get Out, as he also cursed in spanish and assualted me acting and saying he would fight me, he also told a girl waitress to call the police like she did. I left in total embarresment and disbelief. I turn the corner and he makes a hand gesture that is known for the gang MS13 to use. I will Never Enter A Ihop In My Life Ever Again. Iv had other bad expierences at this location before but this is where I draw the line at...

IHOP raspberry white chocolate chip pancakes

I visited the IHOP in Monterey Park at around 11 pm on 7/23/17 and asked if I can order raspberry white chocolate chip pancakes. I knew that the pancakes used to be seasonal but noticed a month ago that it became apart of the menu. I asked the waitress if they still had them on the menu. She looked at her co worker and were debating on what to tell me. They told me they did have them so I order it to go and told there was going to be a wait. I was charged $11. 10 mins later I was given the food and was on my way home. I decided to look at the pancakes and was very disappointed. The pancakes looked like regular pancakes with a few pieces of chocolate chips. I spent my time and money for quality and this was what I received. I went back to ask why I didn't receive the raspberries. Hence raspberries white chocolate chip pancakes. The waitress told me that it was EXTRA for the raspberries. I told her that the pancake name is RASPBERRY WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES. I've ordered it in multiple locations and they always included them. On the receipt she pulled out from my order it clearly stated the name. She didn't know what to tell me and instead of fixing my order she handed me a small container of raspberries. I am very upset and hope my issue is resolved. Left picture is what it is advertised as and right Is what I received.

IHOP service (hostess/host and servers)

My little girl and I went to the Benton IHOP around 9:30pm on Monday, July 24th and NO ONE ever even acknowledged us. The restaurant was not busy at all, only about 6 tables had customers seated. There was no one at the hostess/host stand and the server that looked at us never spoke to us. He walked over to one of the computers and started talking to two girls. He looked and us again andtnd then turned back toward the computer, still not speaking or acknowleding us. We stood there for about 10 minutes, then out loud I said "this is ridiculous, let's just go somewhere else." At that point, another customer looked at me and said she didn't blame us because she waited 20 minutes before anyone ever came that her table after seating her. This is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. As someone who worked in customer service for 15 years, there is NO way I would tolerate employees that treat customers that way. This behavior reflects terribly on that particular IHOP as well as the company. This is not the first time such poor service has occurred at this location and if management does not take care of the problem with the unprofessional employees, it will not be the last time.

IHOP management

Employs ruining lives! Take advantage of employees schedule and hard ships, we were having problems crystal started working at I hop and i've heard many stories of management dating and having sex with employees even in office of restrauant which disgusts me and enrages me. Crystal was a weak minded person and we were having troubles she shared with boss at work and they took advantage of us and ruined a lil boys family being selfish and unprofessional! Manager melanie stamper knew we were having troubles and she befriended crystal anderson and took advantage.

IHOP product/service

I had dinner with my son at the Fenton, MO restaurant and it was the worse experience I ever had. Took forever for the food and half of them employees were standing around talking or even yelling as people that the order was up. I came here many times before and food was amazing as my service, but not tonight as waitress was rude too. I told the waitress that my grilled chicken avocado didn't have the avocado and chicken didn't look like it was grilled (grilled looks like lines on the meat as black stripes on the food like BBQ). The bun was greasy and stuff was falling off out of the bun. The avocado was itty bitty pieces in the bun as not on the chicken. I had many of sandwiches like this before and it is always big pieces inside the sandwich or even on the side. The waitress told me, "Hold on!" She comes back and tells me, "Will you ate it!" I told her, "Yeah, I was hungry and had to try it!" I told her will not tip you at all as it isn't worth my time for you or the way you treated me" I will never go back to this place again and it isn't worth my money to get food like that! They didn't even give me half off my food or even give me a new one. My son didn't even have a lot of eggs on his plate and didn't look like a grand slam of lots of food. I want my money back asap or I will contact the news, attorney general, and bbb. I want my $28.94 back now! I want it back on my card bye this week! Elizabeth Lombardo

IHOP service

We decided to give the Weaverville, NC IHOP another shot, because two times before we had to get up and leave because we received no menus or service.

Same thing this morning -- we were no greeted when we came in -- the lady at the desk, without looking at us, said grab a seat anywhere.
After five minutes, with no one coming to bring us menus or acknowledge us, we noticed three other tables where people had menus and had not ordered yet. Needless to say, same old, same old -- we should have known when there were only five cars in the parking lot -- people have other choices, and this IHop either needs new management, or to close its doors so a viable restaurant that is geared towards customer service can take its place.

IHOP service /timeliness/lack of products

To whom it may concern: Let me start by saying my children and I love IHOP and have been going here for years ... we went in last night 7-18-17 and I was a bit surprised to hear soon as I walked through the door a lady complaining about how long they'd been there and still hadn't received her to go order. We get seated and the guy at the counter that seated us was helpful in that he did at least get us water until our waitress came . I then hear a man yelling that he needed to get back to work and had been waiting so long for his food that he now needs a to go plate to take it with him. It took us too long to get our food as well ... Our waitress apologized and told us she was the only one taking orders on the floor.. I didn't get upset at her, but do not feel it was acceptable to not at least see what else or if we needed anything! They also told us, it was no more syrup, but as we were leaving they began bringing out varieties of syrup. This was just an overall bad experience this night ! I don't know if it was short staff or the underlying issue, but praying it never happens again !

Amjad khan is working in your one of the outlets and he has cheated my daughter nikhat who is his wife... Because of him she is taking her last breathe in hospital... V request u to support us by kicking that [censor] person so badly that he won't get job any where... V r going to do complain against him in police too... Plz support r daughter by kicking him

IHOP the worst ever case#604748

We arrived at ihop we were sitted around 10.23am and waited then we realized we were not served at about 11.23 am so we ask are we going to get any service so they rush our food pancakes first waited another 10min for my turkey sampler now my pancakes are cold and now my appetite its destroyed from all the waiting so now here comes my sampler with a tiny little roach i ask to speak to a manager or a supervisor and there answer was there is no manager on site everyone on vacation so i ask for a to go box paid for the and showed my wife what i almost had for breakfast. Very upset Luis moreno please attend to the matter at hand.STAFF NEEDS LOTS OF TRAINING.

IHOP horrible image of staff and store

This is the second time I've been here and tried to eat the first time it was jus too packed and I jus left..Now we still had to wait about 15-20mins and as I'm sitting and looking around the restaurant of dirty tables that could be cleaned and people, seated, dirty with paper, sugar packets and creamer cups all over the floor ever the staff clothes are dirty and look sloppy. They were coming out with flour n stuff all over them to go smoke right outside the restaurant. This is the very FIRST time I've been in a IHOP like this. This is the worst experience

IHOP the whole experience

We had been shopping in Georgia on Saturday 7/15/17 we stopped at an Ihop between charts worth Georgia and Rossville georgia on our way back to tn. We were next door to a Krispy kreme. We got 2 orders of the kids egg bacon and the 5 little pancakes, one order of the child's mac and cheese, cheese sticks, 55 +french toast with bacon and several drinks. The waitress asked as soon as we got there if we needed a minute my daughter said yes because she had to take her little one to the bathroom and while she was in there the waitress came to the table several times to ask if we still wanted to wait for the others to join us we kept saying yes. After taking our order for drinks my niece was just sitting there because she was not asked what she wanted so I asked if she could have a dr pepper the waitress came back with a Pepsi and said theyou don't have coke products they only have Pepsi products. Then I asked her what she wanted and it was a mountain dew the waitress just looked and smiled then went to get it. Seems like the customer should be asked what they want instead of just bringing things. Then we got our meal the waitress came back and asked if we needed anything else I asked about the child's mac and cheese then my daughter asked for more sauce for the cheese sticks and after we received the check we asked again for the cheese sauce. We use to enjoy ihop but this was terrible I can't give the check number because she never brought it back after taking it and our money. The food was cold terrible experience and to top it off we were the only ones there so busy cannot be the excuse for such sad service

IHOP payment

We went to ihop on Belair road in Baltimore maryland thus morning our bill came to 58 and some change we paid 25 in cash and the rest on a visa card they gave me a recipe for the 33 and change signed it then got home and found the 25 dollars was also charged to my account putting it into overdraft. We call the manger who was very rude on the phone with my girlfriend, very dissapointted with the service we received at this location. I feel it could of been avoided but I will never go there again along with anyone in my family I feel like my money should get put back in my account not very happy at all with the manger either

IHOP I was left on hold for 15 minutes...with no apology

I called I hop to order food and was placed on hold. I was driving to ihop so o wasn't really paying attention to no one ever picking the phone up to take my order. After 15 minutes passed I noticed no one had come back to the phone. So I hung up and called back. This time I was speaking about being left on hold and they hung up in my face. So when I walk in I'm telling the manager what happenee and she never apologized for the inconvenience or anything she just took my order and went about her day. I'm very dissatisfied. All I was looking for was a apology for the very long wait and nothing was done.

IHOP management

My name is Milena Lyons-Epps, I worked at the IHOP on Mazyck Rd In North Charleston Sc. Me and a few of my coworkers feel as if the manager is discriminating against us. She was verbally abusing us, making us do the DMO's job, and screaming at us in front of customers. This happened several times. When I spoke to my general manager about it the first time it happened, she told me she would talk to her. A week later the same thing happened and me and the manager and a few of my employees began to argue because she was mistreating us. We talked to the general manager again & once again nothing changed. I tried to be calm and just deal with it every night but it was verbal abuse & mistreatment constantly. Me and my coworkers talked to my general manager for a third time and she said we should all sit down and talk. So we set up a meeting for Monday July 10 at 3:00 Pm. When the meeting was set it was Monday or Tuesday of the week before. So all week she was rude to us, picking on us over everything, yelling & being unfair to us. We tried to keep it cool until the meeting but she was being childish. I worked everyday from Tuesday - sat . Every single night I was put in the party section. Friday night comes and I'm there again but I wasn't mad, just tired. I worked a double shift on Saturday, I was put in the party section again Saturday morning after leaving 7 hours before I had to be back.. I dealt with it. Saturday night I was in the party section again, I told my manager I was tired and I felt overworked and I just couldn't do it tonight, this was sat July 8th, two days before the meeting. My manager told me I have no choice & I told her I'm jus a teenager why was she working me like this knowing I only have 1 day off. She then told to clock out and go home. I tried to reason with her and talk about it but she bluntly refused to hear anything I had to say at that point. I asked her to put it in writing that I was being sent home and why, she told me no. She refused to give me and actual reason why I was sent home . Before I came back from break that night she had sent another coworker of mine home over something petty. She told me if I didn't buy something I had to leave, so I sat down and bought something .. about 30 mins later she sends my server home . She sent 3 out of 4 servers home within and hour on a Saturday night. So my server leaves and Me and the other server are still sitting there, she comes to us and says leave now. I explained that I wasn't on the clock, I was a customer now. She said leave now or I'm calling the police. I asked her why would she Call the police, we weren't bothering anyone. She ended up calling the police and we were leaving when they arrived, the office sat outside and asked us what's going on and we explained it to him & another officer was inside talking to her . The office came out the building and said that she was being ridiculous & she was trying to put us on trespassing notice for 1 night but that's illegal. The officer said we weren't fired and to come back to our next shift. The next day we went to talk to our general manager but there was a Sunday rush so she said she couldn't talk about it. We then went across town to talk to our district manager who said the same thing. Sunday night one of the servers goes in to work & she is told she's fired . So Monday comes around and my coworkers go to the store & when they get there they are told that none of us work there anymore so there was no point of us coming. They refused to hear anything we had to say, refused to let us show our evidence & basically told us to leave & try to go to a different ihop. My manager then went and told the whole staff why we were fired but no one ever told me that I was fired. I'm just hearing what everyone else said, my general manager, district manager nor my night shift manager ever spoke to me about it. They fired 3 servers instead of getting ride of one bad manager just because she's been working there longer. I have voice recordings of her talking down to us, I have a video of the cops talking about her putting us on trespassing notice & there's been several complaints from customers about her yelling at us in front of customers. I feel as if the owner of the store did not provide a safe & healthy environment for any of us, they tried to pretend it didn't happen just so they wouldn't have to fire her. Her name is Glorimar and she is the night shift manager of the IHOP on Mazyck Rd in Charleston Sc . The general managers name is Varonice, the District Managers name is Stephen, and the owners name is Majid. My name is Milena & the two other servers who were fired over this names are Ronae & Catera.

IHOP unethical behavior by overnight manager at ihop in duluth, ga.

I had a late dinner in IHOP (2178 Pleasant Hill Road. Duluth, Ga. 30096) the a couple of nights ago, it was sometime after midnight. There was a problem with my order and I requested to speak to the manager. I was told her name is "Olivia" and wears blur shirt. Unfortunately, Olivia received the request but ignored me, she never came to assist me. The server got my order corrected and as I was leaving, I passed Olivia on the was out (tall African-American woman with a bad brown & black wig) and she looked disheveled and unkempt, she reeked of marijuana and cheap perfume. I patronize IHOP often and have been at that location many times and I have noticed that many of the servers seem to do what they want to do, they stay on their phones instead of working (most of them do) and management at this time of night is no where to be found, table. If I may make a suggestion...GET NEW MANAGERS! My second order of business is to notify the local law enforcement of the activities going on in this store. I will not be coming back until dire improvements are made, I will be notifying corporate of these complaints as well.

IHOP improper charges

we go to this ihop probably twice a week today we took the grand baby and three friends, my wife normally gets the fruit crepes combo today she ask the waitress if she could just get the crepes by them selves the waitress said yes and didn't bother to tell her it was the same price as the combo this is ridiculous and the manager was little help and quite rude. so in short your manager and the waitress involved have cost ihop quite a bit of money in the future because we will never be back and will gladly tell anybody we can about our experience, this is not the first time we have witnessed this manager having loud and unnecessary discussions in front of customers.we thought ihop might want to know. this place was ran a lot smoother when Horace Nichols was involved in its operation.

IHOP ihop restaurant

My Brother and I went for brunch at IHOP 2065. 3125 peach Orchard Rd. Augusta, GA. 30906, on 07/05/2017. We had eaten at different IHOP restaurants before and found them to be good places. This time however, we were wrong. First it took so long to get our order that I was heading back up front when the server met me with the food. Secondly, although the eggs were overcooked and the toast was hard we ate it anyway because we were hungry and it took to long to get it the first time . Lastly, the bill looked reasonable when we got it only to find out they had given us the wrong one. When we received the right bill it was twice as much . From now on IHOP will be the last on our list. We will not go to IHOP 2065 again.
