Hungry Jack's Australia food

Went through drive ordered asked for fresh chips meals to be placed separately in own bags no ice
Our food was cold chips soggy and nuggets got no sauce
Ended up with ice in our drinks
Sundae was not full asked them o fill it up
Coffee was quite warm
As a guest in Melbourne customer service was rude and they don't listen to customers
I would like a refund due to this unpleasant experience of $21.85 did not enjoy our meal at all happy to provide my bank details plz email me back

Hungry Jack's Australia cold food and poor service

Came to woodbine hungry jacks for some dinner after work. I sat in the drive thru for 40 minutes before receiving my food.

I ordered $30 worth of food and upon receiving the items, everything was stone cold. We threw everything away as it was inedible. I was not going back through to sit in drive thru for another 40 mins. When sitting inside rive thru for 40 mins I expected to have my food fresh but that was not the case. I'm not sure what is happening inside the restaurant, if it is short staffed or whatever but this is unacceptable.

This is added on to the other complaint already I'm place Plus he was asking me to pay $2for 2 drinks that usually where given free water in a cup with ice he wanted me to pay $2 now u should check if that legal or should he get fire for steeling from the company behind there back these employee are selling cup of water to people who look like there easy prey becareful

Hungry Jack's Australia sub standard food served

I visited my local Hungry Jacks store at Firle In Adelaide on the 2nd of January 2020, I bought a Rebel Whopper with cheese, Large onion rings and choco shake. my favourite is the onion ring however the onion rings were so over cooked and full of oil it was disgusting to eat I wouldn't feed it to my pet dog it left a foul taste in my mouth and the prices are high and the food is so sub standard. I don't think I will be going back to Hungry Jacks again after this.

Hungry Jack's Australia a job that I apparently had

i got accepted at Hungry jacks Wiley park and i didn't start till the 29th October, which was my first shift. i was getting trained. i had to complete the modules first which took me atleast a week it was very long. i didn't mind. When i started my first shift, i realised that they weren't even professional they're very unorganised and rude. the manager at the time was talking bad about me multiple times. she didn't even do her job properly she kept running around with the boys at the back, anyways that's not the problem. the problem is that they never called me back for another shift and they never paid me for my training. i stayed back extra time because it was busy. they're very shifty and they never asked for my card details they take photos of my documents and they never put them up. I confronted them multiple times and they said they don't know who i am, and i'm not on the system. The day on my interview i waited an hour for the guy who was supposed to interview me to get ready and ask me 2 questions. And now i got a message saying i quit when i never did. how are they able to remove me when thwy don't have me on the system ?

Hungry Jack's Australia burgers

Around 8pm January 1st 2020. I took my daughter to the truganina hungry jacks we walked in not drive thru. We ordered junior whopper with cheese medium meal with onion rings instead of chips and mango frozen with strawberry bursties and a whopper with cheese large meal with onion rings instead of chips and a Diet Coke. A young lady served us (African appearance) not sure of name she was ok... although after receiving our meal and returning to our car to drive home. The onion rings were so over cooked (near burnt) my daughter had one bite and couldn't eat anymore. We got home and started our burgers both of the burgers had chunks of onion (obviously the end as segment was still round) and around a cm or more thick the junior whopper had three of there and the whopper had two we had to remove from burger to be able to eat. Then my daughter who had the junior whopper informed me she also had the rounded end of tomato in hers (normally discarded in hospitality I work in hospitality so I know) which also needed to be removed to be able to be eaten (see pic attached). After which both burgers consisted of pickle, sauce meat and cheese between the buns. She was also not feting right all night after she ate dinner. Waking me up at 6am throwing up as the piece of onion ring she'd eaten earlier was still lodged in the chest. She told me it was the first thing she threw up. This is completely disappointing to say the least. This store has been getting worse and worse over the last year I have living in this area. First they would give u cold chips or forget something from the order every time would at least be the sauce for nuggets but then get worse where I had to return at one point to get the missing burger. I ask for Diet Coke and get normal coke. I am a type 1 diabetic and this (to everyone else) simple mistake could have ended up me in hospital. This store needed to be looked at by head office for safety and just common sense... I will be going to the hospitality licensing board with this as well if nothing is doing about it. I normally go hungry jacks as I like ur burgers more than maccas but honestly this is making me change my decision on his one... surely I'm not the only unhappy customer within the area!

I ordered a burger box on Monday night at newcomb hungry jacks in Victoria, it was so distgusting that I rang up and complained and got a new one the next night and that was actually worse I don't know if they did it on purpose and the manager Hayley was so rude to me saying she promises it wasn't bad and the way she spoke to me was appalling, I do not take it into any consideration to get treated the way I did. This has happened to me at not just this hungry jacks but also at Belmont hungry jacks. I am so upset of the way I have been treated

Hungry Jack's Australia terrible service

Ordered through drive through. Not many cars at first but then cars just piled up after us as orders were slow being processed. 45+ min wait for x2 cheeseburger x3 small fries and yet they still stuff up the order once we get to the window. 2 patrons who also ordered earlier had returned to the window advising of wrong orders placed in their bags. Top it off came to light why they were so damn slow.. too busy mucking around laughing and talking away like their customers are less of their worries. Terrible service and now prefer Maccas over Hungry Jack's.

Hungry Jack's Australia bad service, dry out and cold food that took 21 minutes to make???

On Dec 27, 2019, my family and I ordered a Smoky BBQ Angus burger, 2 bacon deluxe burgers, 1 vegan muffin and 8 small fries. We wasted $ 32.20...

21 minutes later, we got our order! Cold fries, cold dried burgers! Omg, we waited with young kids this long for this! No staff member apologised for the delay! How disgusting was this food! Is this yesterday's burgers?

I was in such a state of shock to even address a staff member. Also having 3 staff members smoking outside next to the entrance is pretty disgusting. Customer service was also bad at this restaurant. A bad experience.

At home we tried to improve 'the mess' by putting the food in the sandwich press and the fries in the air fryer. I just cooked myself, it was suppose to be takeaway. No cooking involved?! Starving by now, we had a few bites and binned the rest. And then made a sandwich!

What a waste of money and time. I demand a refund or a voucher to give Hungey Jack's another try.

If I don't get a refund my family and I won't be going to Hungry Jack's anymore nor will our soccer team have their weekly burgers at Hungry Jack's. That's another 14 families or about 35 people. This is not a threat, just a fact.

Hungry Jack's Australia service

I just waited over 45min for two frozen drinks and a kids meal witch look like rubbish thrown in a paper bag (not a kids meal box) I was not informed of the wait time and the staff were not very apologetic. There was a man before me who had been waiting over an hour. It's boxing day with Hardly any staff and the juniors you had only seemed to be able to do the one job assigned to them. Hire efficient amount of trained staff for busy days and
Dont advertise and suck kids in if your not going to produce the good. Try advertising chips and nuggets scattered, there packaging, a toy and napkins I n the bottom of a scrunched up bag and when your sales drop you can cut staff.

Hungry Jack's Australia Staff members

Good evening,

I would like to put a complaint forward as a worker here at hungry jacks. I do feel like this is a serious misconduct in our restaurant. Our restaurant manager michael had knowledge of one of our duty managers brittany having illegal drugs in the premises of hungry jacks (dropped from this managers bag on the floor near our kitchen) and has let it go due to the friendship they pursue. I do feel this is very unfair.
Our restaurant manager michael also has knowledge of one of the crew members travis in the burger room coming to work on illegal drugs and has put different staff members lives on the line due to his actions in the burger room. The police has been called as he has turned violent on drugs while working.

I would like to see a investigation done on this as our work place is becoming unsafe more and more each day due to this restaurant manager and hes work ethics.

Hungry Jack's Australia ultimate double whopper burger

I purchase the burger on 14/12/19 saturday around mid-day for work.
Had it for 1st break at 4pm and notice on the first bite that had mould on bottom bun! Which I had to spit it out! I couldnt return the burger because I was at work. My shift ends at 9:45pm. Hungry Jack's Australia poor service

I would like to raise concerns in your Cannon HHill store, Bribane, Qld on 10/12/2019 for an order places at 8.09pm #876.We waited 30 minutes for this order, many customers were waiting.
My specific complaint refers to Caitlin (?) who as I now understand was the duty manager. She appeared to be at the back of the store talking on the phone and walking around idly. She then appeared to pretend to be busy looking at some papaerwork. Front counter staff seemd disorganised and very busy, and perhaps very young. Anyway I had to call one of the staff to call the manager with whom I then asked to get to work and help with customer service.She seemed sheepish and started to help. My concern is that this sort of attitiude is wrong and Hungry Jacks needs to mentor their staff. I am not blaming Caltlin direcrtly but Hungry jacks. I also have concerns the staff were underaged . I'm sorry its come this far but Ive reached boiling point with this outlet!
We live rural and our closest Hungry Jacks is just under an hour drive from us.
Our treat once a fortnight is to have take away when we do our fortnightly shopping.
We have had countless, less than desirable visits to this particular store and have had enough!
Firstly, the service. Slow. Very slow. Even when we visit earlier in the morning, it is not unusual to wait nearly 15 minutes for our meal (dine in) May i also add i have noticed other customers not so happy waiting for their meals.
We have also encountered twice upon ordering "sorry, we have no 5 inch burger patties at the moment" How does this happen!?
Now, i love the cheesy fries. Popped in a box with melted cheese. One particular day, they had no boxes! I received my soggy fries in a desert container! Photo included below. Once again, how does this happen!? A large company store with a continuous flow of patrons, running out of stuff. This should never happen!
Now for the latest, , , apart from my burger being "thrown" together, i went to pay for our meals. By card, credit, enter pin etc as i usually do. The cashier only knew how to do paywave! What the!? My lord, that was the icing on the cake.
Please, do something to resurrect this store for diners and bring it back to its former glory, , , if it ever had one.

Hungry Jack's Australia given a meat pattie instead of a vegetarian

Ordered a rebel 100% plant based pattie and was given a meat pattie my daughter is vegetarian and has been for a long time .She took a couple of bites and was sure it was meat so we took it back and they said it was a mistake on there part and gave her a free meal which we had already paid for. My daughter is devastated I will be taking this further I myself eat meat and am gobsmacked how this happened

Hungry Jack's Australia product service and overcharged

I went through the drive thru and put through my order at 8:18pm on the 4/12/2019.
My order was 5 Large whopper hunger tamer meals 3 of them being double 2 of them single all with cheese. I felt that we had been over charged as the order came to $94.05 which it has never cost that amount before and we order this regularly. We made some alterations being 4 of the cheeseburgers no bbq sauce and no mayo ketchup instead and 1 no mustard and 1 a cheesy cheeseburger.
As I was about to complain that I had been overcharged I was told very rudely can you just go and park and check your order there's a line of cars behind you . I decided to ring them an the guy I spoke to who was also rude said as you ordered special burgers you are charged for it its not free you know. I said you are joking so you charged me to have bbq sauce and mayo taken off and replaced with ketchup he said that's correct as the burgers in the meals are standard and if you want to change them you are charged for it.
I would understand if I wanted to add something but not to take off so instead of substituting two sauces for one they charged us for it all . Then when we ate our meals as soon as I got home and we don't live very far from there our food was squashed stone cold and very very sloppy it was absolutely disgusting most of it ended up in the bin. The whole of my experience with Hungry Jacks this evening was absolutely appalling and we are regular customers which we will never go again and I expect to be compensated greatly for this ie a full refund. My order number was 699.

Hungry Jack's Australia burgers

I brought a tender crisp which didn't taste right from the Beenleigh Qld store I went through the drive thru there were 2 windows open one for paying and one for collection, the girl I paid gave me my burger from her window, I thought nothing of it till I tried the burger is tasted off then I spent all night throwing up .. this is not the first time something like this has happened last time I used the last of my money to buy a whopper my favourite burger, it was full of hair 8 strands blonde to be exact I called the store but they didn't really care ..

Hungry Jack's Australia quality of burger and poor service by manager

Earlier this evening (29/11/19) my son and I went through the Hungry Jacks Innaloo drive through to purchase a Grilled Chicken bacon & Cheese burger for him. When we left and he unwrapped the burger it was a sloppy mess just thrown together and was absoutely stone cold. It looked as if someone had picked it up off the floor!
We therefore had to turn around and come back to go inside the store to speak to the Manager. When we explained and showed him the burger he apologised and also said we were given the wrong burger so he would get another one.
Matthew, the manager, returned with the burger and I asked "do we get a refund given the poor quality and service. Plus the fact that we had to turn around and come back. And that the staff did not even get the order correct". His reply was "sure, I'll give you a refund and take the burger back". I told him that that was disappointing that a manager of Hungry Jacks would not consider this given their error and poor servide, and to look after the customer.

We know (through friends and our own experience) that this branch has had problems with their icecream/soft service machine not working and sundaes/icecreams handed back as they are only half full (sundaes) and small serving on cone.

I would like to know what Hungry Jacks policy is with regards to our burger incident. Our desirable resolution is/was for the Manager to automatically give a refund. No excuse for serving sloppy and cold food, and the wrong burger.
