Humana dental - placement of a crown

In February of 2016 I visited the Rock Creek Dental office in Rockford, il. I had a tooth that was broken as a result of losing part of the filling . I was told that I need a crown to fix the problem. A few weeks after the crown was done I started to have severe sensitivity and informed the office of this. I was seen again and told to use tooth paste for sensitive teeth which helped for a while. After months of pain and of not being able to eat on that side the dentist said I needed a root canal. The root canal was performed through the crown which I'd never heard of, but I'm not a dentist. At this point I'm still in pain and unable to eat on that side of my mouth. The dentist Dr. Martinez now wants me to see a specialist because he doesn't know what else to do. I am out a total of $910.00 for one tooth not including what my insurance has paid. Please help me. Humana medicare d benefits

There are no representatives to help if the digital system can't finish the order on weekends and after hours. This is unacceptable service for customers that pay for drug benefits. On October 21 and 22 I tried to use the digital system to reorder drugs. On the first attempt, It asked for my birthday, I said October second 1945. it failed d to recognize my birthdate. On the second attempt it could not change a delivery address.

Humana claim denial

I have been dealing with Humana regarding a bill I incurred in July 2016. I fell broke my leg (ankle) while visiting in Minnesota. Humana denied the claim because of referral...out of network services. I was not aware of the denial-a result of no paper! I was made aware that I had a bill at Summit Orthopedics in May 2017. They had been sending bills to an address that I had not lived at for 3 yrs. I started back tracking collecting paperwork to get this bill paid by Humana. After several phone calls with clinics and Humana I was advised that I needed a referral from my primary care physician in Arizona where I live. On July 14, 2017 my Dr’s officed faxed the information to Humana. Approx. 2 - 3 weeks later I called Humana to see if they had received the paperwork. I was then told that Humana would not pay the bill because of the time frame involved. In the meantime I have been referred to a collection agency. I then called Humana and was told to file an appeal. I was transferred to another department which turned out to be a recording. In frustration I turned to my insurance agent who made phone calls. In a 3 way conversation it was decided that I needed to have the referral from my Primary care resent. That was sent on Oct. 2, 2017. I called yesterday to see what was happening and after being on the phone and on hold for 1 hr. I was rolled to another customer service rep. I hung up assuming the original rep. would return my call. That did not happen. I called again today and was told they had not received my referral...that’s twice! Once maybe, twice, absolutely not! I had to call my Dr’s office again and this time request they call the referral in. I am angry, frustrated and embarrassed that I need to keep making demands from a dr’s office that had absolutle no involment in services rendered.

Humana pain management dr. stopping meds cold turkey

I have been on long term pain meds. I keep my appointments, I'm Not a drug addict, follow all the rules. Agree to those expensive steroid injections which don't work anymore. Now primary care Dr. has to give me oral steroid packs to help with increased pain he gave me with those steroid injections. The pain meds I have taken for 10 plus years he refused to fill because I have a severe anxiety disorder which causes multiple pain attacks and that anxiety medication does Not react well with the Tramadol Er, so he said Not to pick on you I'm not refilling your pain meds. I enjoy suffering from multiple spine surgeries. Thanks for caring. Carolina Bone and Joint Monroe, NC Dr. Goldberger should Not be in pain management IF he can't have a good bedside manner and a back up plan for people like me who suffer 24/7 chronic pain.

Humana appeals and unethical

I am absolutely appalled how this company treats patients, customers and provider offices. Not only am I a patient but I have spoken to them being an advocate for patients. I was shuffled around for 35 minutes trying to find a status of an appeal and was told the day before they would put in a expedited 24hour appeal due to the nature of putting a life in jeopardy(spoke to Shaquita). After speaking with Ashley today, she was kind enough to not lie to me and said they do not do 24hr expedited appeals. For an insurance company to put lives at risk and lie to the very people that pay them pretty much sums it up. I will be following up with my local congressman and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Humana claim service

Humana is denying an EMERGENCY visit due to the Hospital being out of network. My understanding, and Humana, has agreed, in the case of an emergency, it is considered IN network. I have received a bill from my ER visit and I believe Humana and the hospital need to come to an agreement to get this paid. I have nearly reached my out of pocket maximum. I checked into SHA ER 7/12/17, into 7/13/17. I had an extreme migraine, throwing up, chilling, and aching all over. I had never experienced such a terrible migraine, that I was afraid I could have had an aneurysm or something worse. SHA is the closet hospital in my range, and I did not know they were consider out of network. I consider a fair resolution that Humana and SHA work out some way to pay the $6, 326.73.

Humana network participation status?

Our practice has been told our providers are out of network with Humana Medicare PPO. I called Humana on 8/22/17 and stoke to Vel M. who provided me a call reference # [protected] and verified both of our doctors are IN network with Humana Medicare PPO. He said he would also send a request to contracting to call me. I have yet to be in touch with anyone from contracting.

Humana customer phone number

I have made several calls to ask questions about my insurance. I have been placed on hold, disconnected or mainly the foreigners you have answering the phone, does not understand the question. I am not sure whether the answer they give me is correct. when you ask to be switched to an American representative you may get disconnected 3 or 4 times. I hate contacting Humana. Your customer service stinks.

I have been trying to get information from Humana Customer service for over a month. The service center is in Colombia, the reps are nice and well mannered but they simply will not or cannot provide any information. I believe it is a planned policy by Humana to not provide any information so a person will not attempt to get care. I believe this is also probably illegal. This site is filled with similar comments and complaints.

Humana humana gold advantage

I have my retrieved recorded conversation for my original application submitted to Humana. I changed from Medicare A & B starting on
August 1, 2017 to Humana, that promised to cover my choices. My choices included Providence St John's Hospital 2121 Santa Monica Blvd. SM 90404 along with my Primary Care Doctor, Dr. Adam Karnes, 5901 Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles 90036.

On August 21 I was scheduled for surgery for Magalent Melonoma stage 3 on my Face. My surgery was denied while I was in the waiting room of the hospital getting ready to have surgery. I called Humana immediately, and you have assigned me to the wrong Network, including a primary care doctor I have never heard of, who works in a hospital that I did not choose.

After a nightmare of customer calls, complaints, during that week and an almost breakdown, my oncologist scheduled another surgery for Monday, August 28, 2017. I waited for a last minute approval for the hospital bill at Providence St. John's. I got a denial even though it was Humana's original mistake in putting me in the WRONG NETWORK.

I arrived at the hospital and they handed me a bill for $11, 500 before I went into surgery. I demand to be REIMBURSED FOR THIS BILL.

I have evidence that Humana's practices did not cover me due to negligence and malicious practices to avoid paying my hospital bill. I have copies and records of CHAT CONVERSATIONS with Humana customer service employee, with direct reference to Networks, Primary care doctors, coverage of my Hospital of choice withing the network.

Humana humana/surgical authorization process

48 hours from cervical fusion surgery i'm notified not by humana but by my surgeons' office that authorization for my surgery has been denied! Upon my calling humana and transferring me three times they connect me to a company called orthodex (Sounds like that anyway) there some lady tells me the nurse determined the codesed by the surgeon and the medical diagnosis/records do not meet criteria! A nurse undermined a neurosurgeon! From there they bounce me back to humana representative that says I have to resubmit authorization request and a humana nurse will determine if humana pays or not! I was told matter of fact that wedesnday sirgery isn't happening. When asked how long the new process would take humana wouldn't say.
I've been in pain for over 1.5 years and am tired of aspirin, opioids and more pain! They treated me as if I wanted a cosmetic surgery or decided that my surgery was for fun. Now I must endure once again all the ct scans, xrays, blood work and other tests again! Costing humana more money in the long run!

Humana jennifer frost weltlich

Used her job with Humana to travel for 7 years to conduct her extamarital affair. Used her boss (in dental) tim feree to organize the state of MS as part of her primary recruitment areas. Her husband is employed with Humana as well. Using company resources in an attempt to destroy another family is probably not part of Humana's mission, goals, or desired reputation.

Humana coverage

I went on a man with several times in the last 3 months to find a rheumatologist in my area I had one that prescribe medicine for me and made me deadly l when I called him he refused to address it so I no longer can you sing. Now I'm back to square one on humans website well there are no rheumatologist in the area and since I can't drive I have to hire someone to drive 22 miles good luck on that for me I've been looking for 3 months no such luck I finally went and found a doctor Primary Care internal medicine doctor that would help me with my rheumatory until I get a rheumatory doctor very excited about that I called to make sure that could take place so when I changed or I should say try to change my primary doctor I couldn't your man saying to me because it's at the end ignition. Which was not until 7:31 2017 I don't know what the hell they're talking about I'm not the enzymatic they refused to change it. So now I do not have any health coverage in that area of Rheumatology now that I can't walk can't stand almost paralyzed that does me one heck of a good thing I guess for them they don't have to pay any money out

Humana your whole system

First off you decline a test for someone to see if they have cancer or other problems. Dr did a test anyway and found out my grandmother had cancer. And yall just keep denying everything. Starts chemo and she got sick and in hospital ends up being aloud to go home after over a month and 2 or 3 days later your stupid case worker is not aware she was aloud to go home and still a week later no home health is set up. and the one you offer is not everyday and my mom is exhausted with no sleep for over a week cause yall are to lazy to keep up with your work. So my mom is crying because she is tired and can't function and you can not even do your freaking job. My mom has been taking care of my grandma for almost 2 months. She has not been home and has not gotten a chance to see her kids or husband or get her self ready for a new school year because she is a teacher. So our family has gone way beyond yalls stupid petty no caring offers and found home health places that are gonna try and take over what yall can't. I will laugh the day yall get sued over all the hell yall like to cause in peoples life. Unless yall just hope people do not live so you don't have to deal with that case anymore, yes i went there cause thats how we were treated and how yall acted to make us assume that.

Humana bill not being paid for service received at dentist office

I m filing this complaint because I had a crown done on 08/25/16 by my dentist office. This is the first time I had a crown put in my mouth ever and I really needed it. The claims department is denying paying the bill which is covered under my insurance plan. I have called several times about this issue and is told that the bill will be taken care of. The service# is 02740 crown-porcelain/ceramic. Est Insurance bill is $150.00. Im tired of dealing with this issue and is seriously thing about going with another dental plan when open enrollment starts in October. They did the exact same thing refusing to pay anything on my cleanings and fillings and extraction from a pre approved Dentist and my dentist office even called and talked to the Humana customer service before any work was done . Now they refuse to pay a dime saying that the dentist they pre approved themselves was not in their network ! Such lies and deceit ! I paid my part they paid 0 . I am looking for a lawyer to sue them ! Would you want to join forces with me ? It is horrible they way they cheat people out if their hard earned money ! M teeth are in a mess and I cannot get any work done because I cannot afford it by myself and yet every month they steal my money and I cannot cancel because it's government ! Humana finding rheumatologist in my area

Well I've been looking for rheumatologist for two months the ones posted in my plan are not a acceptable at all their complaints and reviews are on the down side. The one that I chose to go a while back well let's just say the medication that was prescribed maybe deadly ill even though I had complained about what I was feeling they did not take a interest they just kept prescribing it to me so I stopped it called up the specialty pharmacist and he indicated that I was allergic to it and that's how I was having all the symptoms when I tried to explain it to the doctor he completely ignored the issue I guess you didn't want to hear it it's easy to sweep it under the rug. So I called up humana and complaints The Next Step was to try and find a new rheumatoid doctor well that didn't go well they didn't have much in my area most them were 19, 20 miles and more no one wants to drive that far when that bill they will all in downtown Tampa and tampa not near to my home or my surrounding area they had nothing new at all I looked on their website up and down when I called them they had no answers so I guessed my next step would be to pull out a new man

Humana failure to pay doctor

I signed up with Humana HMO coverage June 2015. I switched to the PPO coverage effective Jan 2016. At that time, someone at Humana entered another insurance company to my account, an insurance company I never heard of. In Feb and June of 2016 I visited my pulmonary doctors office. Since then Humana has refused to pay the billings. I contacted Humana and explained what had happened. They said they would make the necessary corrections and submit payments. They never did nor did they ever attempt to contact me. I contacted an insurance resolution agency and they made corrections in "the system". Now, Humana still refuses to make payments to the doctors office. They won't even talk with the insurance rep at the doctors office.

Humana service and phone conversations

I am so frustrated and stressed out with Humana Pharmacy. My member ID is H57767936, Kay Reich BD 7/12/2949. Speaking and being able to speak to someone on the phone is a disaster! I started having an issue this past week which really came to a head yesterday, [protected]. I couldn't understand why i hadnt gotten one of my meds and online it was marked cancelled? It was sent in by my doctor on 6-7-2017. I finally received the other meds with much frustrating discussion but did not receive my Cloazepam. I called and that was a major Disaster! When i finally found the med online i had to order it myself? I dont even know if this was the right thing to do. I am so dissapointed in this pharmacy...the phone discussions and follow throughs have been so Poor...i am a very dissatisfied customer.

Humana I am complaining about a cac clinic in semoran, orlando

I wanted to update and send you this letter so you have a more understanding of the events that has gone on in the location of Semoran CAC Clinic. This letter was necessary not because I am mad I did give a two weeks notice but more because of the discrimination and of others that If they don’t agree by choices or the things the Administrator Jasmin displays that they become victims to.

I have been dealing with a long time with a lot of discrimination and rudeness. I will start with the meeting that occurred at 3:00 in which was to let me go early than my two
Weeks notice. I was working at my desk when Jasmine who approached Emma’s work station and started talking Spanish to her and mentioned my name so I looked over as that caught my attention (this was rude how Jasmine handled the situation in that that I do not fully speak Spanish and could not understand what they were talking about. and instead of her asking Emma to go with her to her office and discuss what she was telling Emma she just continued to discuss the matter to Emma in spanish at her desk. Emma was upset did not and I did not understand why. So then I asked her what just happened. She stated that Jamsine wanted her to get Renee and then wants Emma and I to go to her office. At that point they knew what was going on and should have let me know to gather all my things at that time but no one did. So I then got up from my desk and went into the restroom before entering the office where Jasmin and Emma were and Jasmine was sitting with her papers in her hand and started to explain that she has rights to make this my last day and that the PTO would pay me like as if I was working up till my last day of work which was scheduled for [protected]. I stated ok and then asked her why and what the reason was for. She stated that I put PTO hours for next week and instead of getting the PTO hours it was best to let me go and just have that week off. I then stated that I was not asking for PTO that just on Monday I would need to leave by 2:00-2:30 the latest for a follow up which she got in her email. I also put in on the time request sheet but did not know how to do it without asking for PTO but I wanted it on the schedule for proof because I had many trust issues in the past with her and everything I started documenting in email. She then said do you have a phone on you and where is your purse. I said it was at my desk. She then looked at Emma and told her to gather my things and bring them to me. I didn’t understand why so I stated that I will get my purse and my things then log off on my computer in which I wanted to say by to the staff in the back as well and not to mention I did not want to be left in her office alone with her. She stated don’t worry all my access and everything has been shut down and I am going to call Jorge Diaz in the office. I stated that is not necessary your just looking to have drama and that I have no issue in leaving. She then proceeded to call and then seen Jorge Diaz in the hall way and waived him to come in the office. When he entered I looked at him and said she wanted you to come in because I would like to get my things and it was not necessary to treat me like a crazy person because that is discrimination. He looked at Jasmine and stated it is ok for me to go get my things and I said thank you.

I got up and Emma came with me to the back where I logged of and then crabbed my belongings and started to say good by to the staff. One of the patients was sitting by referrals (Vernita Simmons)and heard what happened and was not a happy and stated that she was looking to change because she saw discrimination in the company and felt uncomfortable. So then I walked to the back where Janine Haughton (Billing Coder) was to say by and then heard Jasmine entering the back and walking up asking where I was she went to Dr. Herrera office and stated this is why I didn’t want her back her so she can leave not knowing I was still in the building. I walked out of Janine office and Jasmin was approaching down by Janine office and said I need you now to come with me and sign papers. I said I will not sign any papers because I don’t trust you and you don’t have to worry I am going to leave and out the back door right now. She rushed in front of me to crab the door and close the door and I jumped over her leg as she went to push me back I pushed her out of the way and left out the Emergency Door exit. She stated that is an emergency door only use but reality everyone uses it and when the Administrator Jasmine her extended hours of shopping on company time she uses the door everyone comes in and out that door. I have been picked on and there comes a time that it should stop there are other victim’s in the company that get that treatment from her.

I am so disappointed in the company I always thought HR4U is but I have called numerous times and not once was anything handled the right way.

There has been so many issues with the administrator that people have called on her and her behavior and somehow she gets away with it. Here are some examples

One is the time when she was working the administrator seeing if they can get me in trouble called me into Jasmines office to claim that I was rude to Yamilet (the administrator from Pine Hills) and she was not going to take it and she threatened me. I had to call HR4U on both Jasmine Molina because the way she handled the situation not telling me what was going on prior and just walking in to Yamilet Banderas on speaker phone and immediately started accusing me of swearing at her in which was not true and I didn’t have a phone conversation with her prior to that nor do I work in Pine Hills to have that type of situation happen. Yamilet proceeded to threaten me over the phone (Jamine’s phone) and still both are working with Humana and have no issues.

I have had so many encounter with the administrator switching from English to Spanish when every I entered a room or space when talking with other co-workers about me not everyone with a Spanish last name means they speak Spanish and it is well know that I know on the medical side to communicate with patients but I have to get Emma and Renee to translate for me so they no they can speak Spanish and get away with it that is one of the reasons I go out on lunch.

I have seen Jasmin leave the office before 12:00 with other staff to go shopping and not returning until after one and then entering the back emergency door thinking no one is seeing her take extra long lunches which has been going on for over a year and everyone in the office has seen it and they choose to ignore the situation but talk and she has been getting away with it. There She has been given the front desk extra coverage and does special things with them so they all can cover each other and no one will say anything.

Mariceli Matos has been rude with me numerous times as well as with patients and other staff members but Jasmin Molina excuses her behavior with her mom was sick but that is not the case because this has been an ongoing issue for a year now. Jasmin also states that her two front girls are 100 never get anything wrong but that is her protecting them because they know that she leaves for different extended lunch hours and covers her behavior.

She had been rude to the referral coordinators Cynthia Santana and Mia Swanger accusing them they are not doing their job and that has been a problem ever since the day when we had a meeting and Cynthia and Mia had an encounter with Jasmin in the meeting when they came aboard was discussing how they were told to take their lunch by their supervisor in Miami that they could not take the lunch together but separate per there supervisor. Jasmin didn’t like that and got loud and stated talking over them in a rude manner and said directly to Cynthia that she (Jasmin)does not care what their supervisor says that she will tell them how they are going to take their lunch and weather they go at the same time or not. She has since then been having issues.

There was a 911 situation with a patient who had chest pain and no administrator, nurse or doctor was in the building and I had to take over with Rene and we called 911, performed the ekg and took charge and no one showed up until the ambulance was already there and taking the patient out. That was bad because that was a day that the administrator Jasmin Molina took the doctor out and they went shopping beyond and over the lunch hour and the Nurse Practioner Jeanuarey Melendez had to leave late for lunch which was not her fault she had her schedule booked and she was the one who made it back to see the patient being taken out the back. She asked me what happened. Emma the Lead MA was not there that day.

She also states how she goes and helps out other clinics but then comes back and talks about how there clinics are doing so poorly and she is the top clinic.

Then the Previous cleaning co-worker Linda Perez has passwords of Jasmine Molina’s because Jasmine use to have her do her books and some work for her the paying her under the table to make extra money the table to make extra money..

I believe that all of these issues plus more need the attention of higher up in the company and HR4U in Kentucky is because when you call HR4U there is always the HR from Miami that gets note of the files and helps Jasmine when she see’s her name the assist and helps her out and pulling the case and working on it for her so nothing goes any further and it gets was out and one of the people on Jasmines behalf is Alina Martinez. She pulls any HR issues (reports) and handles them so nothing goes further with Jasmin Molina. My furture job has no competition with this company and it was a wrongful choice letting me go earlier than I put in for and previous coworker with the same job I am going to gave her 2 week notice like me and she was able to full fill her two weeks. I know that I called out last Thursday but I had a note from the dentist that day and Jasmin kept calling Kissimmee location on purpose to make it seem like thy really needed help but Renee stated that it was slow he had only 3 labs and not that many patients were seen that day that they were fine. I believe it was just to set it up because she already had plans to get me out of the work. I am not upset but defintly I feel that this should be handle taken care of because there will be more victoms and it is all if you do not agree

Humana part d drug coverage for seniors

Endangering client’s health care - humana (Medicare) rx drug plan - profits from pain 4/26/2017 1:25 pm

I have had humana as my drug rx plan in ny for several years and now in florida since moving here a year ago.in ny it was determined by 3 specialists, that I am allergic to preservatives in eyedrops (It caused me severe blepharitis) and then the anti-inflammatory drugs to resolve this caused permanent vision damage to both my eyes. I have to use unpreserved eye drops to avoid vision loss. All the eye doctors I saw notified human of my sensitivity to preservatives and the need for unpreserved medications (I too am an eye doctor). Humana then authorized the (Not on the formulary) drops at a $45.00 copay each purchased month’s supply (After a yearly first purchase of $125.00).

I called today to get a price on the drops in florida, as recommended by my physician who thought she might be able to save me money by not using my drug plan. I was told by your rep [protected] that all the past reports my doctors filed were of no value. I was told that I had to start the process over and get new doctors to request this exception because it was a new year (Each year). You did not promise to make an exception in any case. I was also told the drug is not on your formulary and I would have to pay full price. The walmart discount prices is $175.84 for a month’s supply. It sells for over $200 / mo supply. It is illogical (And unethical) to ask me to go through the doctor request process each year. When your representative said I would have to do this I asked to speak to a supervisor since allergies don’t go a way. He then played the same trick all "annoyed" providers do and said he would transfer my call to customer services who would help. He promptly disconnected us. (He had my phone number and if he wished to call back he could have).

I am a retired doctor, I understand how you play games by forcing doctors to do unnecessary time consuming paperwork and phone work so that you can stop patients who need exceptions from getting the meds they need and for which they have paid your insurance fees for years. Sure you tell the patients it is their doctor’s responsibility to contact your service department as if it would take just a moment or two. When I was a practicing doctor, I would have been doing this all day! Doctors are paid poorly enough already and now you add to the injury by making them do unnecessary paperwork or spend time on the phone with your company (Which hangs up on them too) which is not possible for them to do today. It is a neat little way of deceiving your patients. You tell them ask your doctors to get an exception and put the blame on the doctor.

Having a formulary that allows you to negotiate for a lower price with a drug company is not a bad idea. However when a patient needs a drug not available on your formulary and when there is no alternative on our formulary, making them jump through hoops to deny services is unethical. We as patients, all know the stories of suffering senior citizens who live in pain because they cannot afford the medicines they pay their plans for. The medicines they can get from canada pharmacy cheaper than with their drug plans.

As patients, you take our money in premiums with false promises of care and then deny service for greater profits. Nothing could be more unethical other than directly causing injury to your clients by stabbing them with a knife or shooting them. You get away with it indirectly, without putting a knife in them, by denying services. I wonder how this would read on the internet? I gave you 24 hours to set this straight in writing and then I waited w weeks. On 4/26/2017 I then sent my email to your customer services and received no response. Today is 5/9/2017 if you intended to respond, 2 weeks was clearly enough time. This clearly paints a picture of the ethics behind your services and your concern for your clients. Dr joseph a ross

5/30/2017 — the human drug plan rip-off only gets worse.

My eye doctor prescribed a second med for me today. Unpreserved again because I am allergic as documented. This drug was also denied. Now she is going to write to them to see if they can get it approved. Meanwhile the records for several years show (At their company) that I am allergic and that does not change.

Today my wife needs and eyedrop for post surgical care. The drop is called prednisone. When she went to pick it up today they charged her an $80.00 co-pay. I went online to canadian pharmacy to see what it would cost without insurance. The price in us dollars is $27.00 and it is the same product from the same company, allergan. Get this straight now: with insurance $80.00 without insurance $27.00 ……….. How ethical is this? I looked at humana’s ratings online.

Humana denial of prescriptions, poor phone connections

In 2014 I had cervical spinal fusion, thank God I had Excellus then. Now my employer switched to a Humana PPO. After the surgery I was left with severe nerve pain in my arms and hand, also I have lost dexterity in my hands. My doctor prescribed lidocaine patches for pain. Humana denied it, the doctor wrote a certificate of medical necessity, they denied it. I filed an appeal they denied it.The only medication they will allow me for the pain is lidocaine ointment in a 30 gram tube for a 30 day supply, when you get sample toothpaste from the dentist that is 27 grams. The amount of lidocaine they allow lasts about 5 days. With out the lidocaine I have had to increase the amount of Ativan that I take, the amount of Neurontin that I'm on and add 2 arthritis strength tylenol. I've had two doctors tell me this worries them because I'm heavily sedated, but it is the only way I can sleep without the patches. I also have asthma and I wasn't able to use an inhaler when I have an attack. I told my allergist and he said that there was one brand that people with poor dexterity could use, Humana denied it. I called them on the phone, an awful experience. You often get a poor connection, I've even had to hange up and call back, also you have to give information such as name, address, d.o.bo. and your Humana id number to everyone you talk to. They denied me the inhailer and would only a generic brand that I have trouble opening. As a result of nerve damage, I have difficulty walking, and I have major balance issues. I have to use a cane. One of my doctots prescribed orthodics to help with my balance, Humana denied them. I called Humana they denied it again. I am currently seeing a podiotrist, when I asked him about Humana his exact words "They suck." I am also seeing a pain management doctor, when I asked her about Humana she said "I only have trouble with two insurance companies, Humana, they are the worst and Fidelis.
