Hulu Live bundle

I am very unhappy with hulu's decision to increase their rates by 10 dollars a month. The main reason I choose hulu live bundle was that they seem to care about their customers and programming. Now I see it is all about getting people to join then increasing rates. I got rid of my local cable because of the constant rate increases now I see hulu is just as horrible in price as cable. I will cancel the full subscription if this continues.

Hulu Continued outrageous advertising

We watched Homeland this evening. It was ridiculous to be made to watch the political ad against Abigail Spamberger.
To equate her as a terrorist because she was a substitute teacher at an Islamic school is preposterous. The ad is very offensive and to be made to watch it over and over is maddening!
I just think you would have some ethics before accepting such ads

Hulu The service crashes

Live TV viewing freezes, crashes, and kicks me out. Sound is out of sync with video. This has been occurring regularly now for the past few months. Considering switching to another streaming service if issues cannot be resolved. My internet service is Verizon High Speed FIOS and I'm not experiencing any other issues with any of my other streaming subscriptions.

I have a fantastic fiber feed that has zero issue with anything else. I switched to Hulu from Sling because they had their own issues. Hulu freezes, crashes and audio sync is exactly like the complaint above. I just missed an entire playoff football game last weekend. Unacceptable, and it happens all the time!
Bye Bye Hulu, you raised the rate once too many times. I can now go to my internet provider and add TV for less, with more content. You guys stink...

We are having the same problem and it kicks us to the next episode before we are finished with the show we are watching. It is very annoying. Is there anyway to stop this problem.

Hulu The removal of a very teachable episode of an iconic show

Hulu wrongfully removed an episode of the iconic show the Golden Girls. The episode was called "Mixed Blessings, " episode 23 in season 3 of the sitcom that aired in 1988. Hulu's reason for the removal of this episode was because in one scene Blanche (Rue McClanahan) and Rose (Betty White) are testing out a new mud face treatment when Dorothy's son Michael's Girlfriend and her mother show up both of them are black. So Hulu decided to remove this episode over one little scene, when in fact the whole episode was trying to show a very important message about interracial marriages. The whole episode was about Michael (Scott Jacoby), the son of Dorothy (Beatrice Author), plans to wed a much older Black woman, Lorraine (Rosalind Cash). Dorothy is critical of their age difference and Lorraine's family disapproves of their daughter marrying a white man, so the two families attempt to stop the marriage in the end they put aside there differences and let Michael and Lorraine get married. Hulu did not even think about what they were doing when they decided to remove this episode over one little part that was not even a big deal and Hulu should Issue a full apologue for the removal of the episode and put it back on the website and app.

I lived with the freezing, etc, but today they went over the line. I live outside of cleveland, and I turned on to watch the browns eagles game. i'm watching the fox pregame show, it hits 1:00, they never switch to the local feed. I call someone I know with antenna tv, yep, it's on the local station, it's just hulu that never switched to the local feed. I tried to find a customer service number for them, good luck, took 15 minutes and detective skills, only to be told 30-40 minute wait. found a 'chat' feature. about 1:30 I got someone, they realized what they did, and switched the feed. halfway through the 2nd quarter, yeah, the group of people I had over to watch had already left to go watch at a bar. but everything ended well... they gave me three free days to compensate me for the problem. thanks a lot. cancel.

OK your issue is that hulu switch to a local feed on a local station network? What does this have to do with Hulu removing an episode of Golden Girls called Mixed Blessings a very important episode that teaches people that it shouldn't matter if your black or white that you should be able to marry the person you love. So people thought it was a rasict episode it was one scene. Your issue is over a football game so you need to read people's posts before you comment on them

Hulu App is not responding

I have been in a chat for almost 4 hours without any resolution to my issue. My chats have been disconnected multiple times forcing me to start over with a new representative. I have done every single troubleshooting option such as unplugging the tv, unplugging the router, deleting the app and reinstalling it, logging off and back on etc and nothing is working. All of my other apps work on this tv so it is definitely Hulu and instead of fixing the problem they keep telling me to do the same stuff over and over even though I've explained they do not work each time. I've checked the speed of my internet multiple times and sent it to them showIng that it's not the problem and they had the nerve to suggest I use another device instead of them resolving the issue. Hulu is lagging, freezing, closing itself out etc and not a single representative is trying to help me. Every time I ask to speak to a higher up I'm told it's not possible even though that's definitely not true. I pay $82 a month for this app and I'm being treated as if my business with them does not matter. I want a resolution to my problem with this company. The photo says chat started at 12:42 but that's because my first two previous chats were disconnected. I've been doing this since 10:50 this morning. [protected]@gmail.com

Totally normal for these guys!
If you stay with them, you should have an Over The Air Antenna for a backup, or you will get zilch.
I wonder how many people will get screwed out of watching the Superbowl...

Hulu Unauthorized subscription upgrade

I recently purchased the 11.99 subscription, never authorized any additional upgrades. Was charged over $60 for upgraded service even though I never authorize them. Called and tried to get the money refunded, was told that was not possible since I had watched a news channel by mistake. Customer representative was nice but I am very upset that I had to spend $60 that I never authorized. I will likely cancel my service with Hulu which is a shame

Hulu Subscription

I've had a hulu account for years that's just the regular service without ads, $11.99/month and all of the sudden they keep trying to charge me for hulu+live, it's $52.99 a month and i've never signed up for a trial or anything and twice in the past month it's tried to charge me for this service. Customer service won't do anything to remove the charges, it's infuriating. I've paid 79.99 for a service i've never used and that's on top of my regular monthly charges! Of all of the streaming services I pay for I probably watch hulu the least smh

Hulu Billing

Hello,

I have tried every which way I know to fix this as well as recieve any support from you. You had me pushed to technical support at a cost of 5.00 by computer messages you claim are real people that are there 24-7. What a joke. My issue is with billing and I added a new card and it said it was excepted.
No matter how I tried to word it even to the point of capital letters saying stop do not send me there..and boom there I was again back to tech support who isn't even part of your company at least 15 times. I was so upset I found the VP of your company direct phone number and left a voice message with my phone number and that was almost 2 weeks ago.

So in closing if you want my business you might want to reach out to me. It's called customer service which you seem to lack severely at. Non existant would be more accurate. There are plenty of other options out there trust me. If you turn me over for collections I am saving this email trust me on that as well. I am filing against you as well at Bibb and anyplace else I can find.

Hey when is this complaint dept.. going to do their job? Is anything getting done about any complaints? I don’t see where they are.. and they say that this dept. is separate from Hulu, that’s a joke and like other big tech companies, this one thinks their to big! We will see, everyone needs to get on fb Twitter utube wherever and spread the news that Hulu gets hit in the pocket book! Patriots rise up!

Hulu Advertising for hulu is too loud

Every hulu ad is so loud I must keep the volume control in my hand. It clearly abuses the federal guidelines for volume. Please correct immediately or I will go to another service. If the commercial is linked to other commercials those ads are also too loud. I do not appreciate actors and cartoons yelling at me and that is what these commercials do.

Hulu Hulu streaming service

So we run on a newer vizio, its updated, yet hulu still pauses and sometimes doesnt even stream. We pay our bill each month for this so why is this issue happening? The stream freezes, gets "unclear" or generally doesnt work. Our internet speeds are fine and it streams thru the switch or playstation just fine. This is rediculous we shouldnt have these issues which we pay for.

Hulu Hulu interface

We use Hulu everyday. It's our go to place for all our favourite shows. But the interface is difficult. it shouldn't be this difficult to search or look for our shows. If it was simpler it would be better to use.

The fact that we have to scroll through shows we don't even watch to click on the show we want... it just doesn't make sense. I remember when Hulu was easier and perfect.

Hulu Series

I like watch anime on hulu but there is a problem . For some anime hulu stops the dubbed in the middle of the series and l don't like how that. Because I was rewatching naruto supputian and it has a total of 500 episodes but hulu only has 141 dubbed episode meaning I have to watch the rest on subbed which I don't want to do . And that why I might stop my hulu account

Hulu Hulu

I have two separate complaints both involving my children. The commercials my children watch when viewing cartoons on HULU should be geared to children not political ads that right away say negative comments about running mates. I teach my children not to say negative comments about anyone.
Second my children should not be indoctrinated to anyone's sexuality. They are children and their brains are like sponges not completely developed until the age of 25. Maybe the LGBT is counting on that fact to help indoctrinate my children.

Hulu hulu live

The ads are too frequent and excessively long. There are so many ads that the next program starts before I have ever even seen the ending of the program I am watching. This may be what prompts me to drop Hulu Live. I want to see the ending of the show. I have yet to see the ending of any program. Apparently you can not shut off Autoplay on Hulu Live either, it goes on to the next scheduled program whether the show you are watching has fully ended, To me, it's POINTLESS to even watch it if you can't see how it ends. I otherwise love Hulu and likely will ditch Hulu Live.

Hulu offensive and medical commercials

Sexually explicit commercials, to increases sales of medicines and treatments, such as the one for Peyronie's Disease, and the Dexcom G6, both of which occur at least once during every movie or episode watched, every day. We don't mind car commercials, computer commercials, or even rap/hip-hop commercials, but the sexually explicit and health related one, especially when they do not apply to the family, are beyond annoying. When it's sexual, it's offensive.

Completely agree. If we're forced to watch commercials why don't we have the ability to choose ALL of our commercials like they do time to time. I always back out of those medical commercials (like the HIV drug) where they show two guys kissing. Come on really? It's a lifestyle choice and a bad one at that and I don't want to see it on my TV...

Hulu last update

The last update has caused major issues I noticed all the issues started around July 17th 2019. It took a call back from Hulus escalation team for me to find out they updated the software
The menu is displaying the recent channels when it is on all channels. Often I have to move up to the top menu to get back to the right location
When you are at the bottom of the menu you have to flip all the way down to get back where you were.
The menu is often wrong at the beginning of the hour showing you the last show and the one that will be on later.
When it is the top of the hour the menu pauses and reloads on every station making it painful to use it.
If I browse to movies start watching a movie then have to continue later the movie is not in the list. It is not in keep watching you have to dive deep to find it again
Half the time when browsing the all channel menu it changes to recently viewed so you have to start all over again
sometimes the advertisements restart over and over then hulu exits or gets locked up
if you are watching a show that you restarted from the beginning and the show is over live if anything happens you will lose the ability to keep watching
if the dvr has an error the only way to start over is to call in so they can do it
The recent channels often does not list the last channel you tuned into if the channel was on an advertisement
The limited commercials feature is false advertising it only pertains to 3 shows not all of them.

The community is useless since Hulu never looks at it
The chat is useless since they keep wanting you to reboot and reinstall
The phone contact usually requires a call back from the escalation team to get someone that knows what they are doing
If they credit your account they change your billing date. No other business does this.

Hulu hulu’s live tv

Shows keep freezing up and not loading. Everyday I have trouble getting Hulu to load and stream without freezing. It has been this way for almost all month! Hulu Live seems to have more issues than the original service. As I'm typing this Hulu Live froze four times. Please Help I have been a loyal member for many years and used to love this provider. I just can't keep paying for services that constantly have issues. Please fix this or I'm going to have no choice but to cancel my membership.

Hulu payment not received

I had finished my task in Hulu for 40, 914 credits, I put all the information in, as I was getting it processed for a little bit, I finished. So I was satisfied and started watching some shows, I never cancelled right away . Anyways that's when I came back to imvu an 2-3 hours later and my credits weren't there, I was very upset, I complained but nothing happened, even though I finished my task.

Hulu live tv

I have two homes - one in houston and one in austin. When subscribing I saw that there could be 2 users at a time which is fine. But when going to austin with my roku ultra and connecting to hulu live tv I was prompted to "make this my home location" which I did and then the message that I had used 1 out of 4 location changes and I only have 4 location changes a year. This is one of the most disgusting issues I have encountered. Why only 4 changes a year when I have to login into hulu anyway? Absolutely ridiculous! What are the admin folks at hulu thinking that this is an item to enforce - how dumb. And, why is this when paying for a service that one cannot use in two locations. What difference does it make to hulu where one watches their programing. Yes, the local channels are involved but I would rather just watch the local channels on the digital antenna and not at all on hulu live tv. It's sad to see such a large company have such stupid individuals running it. No wonder at&t wanted out of hulu.

Hulu live stream buffering

Please fix your live stream buffering! You've raised your rates — what for? We are getting worse service than before. Shame on you. Last night — 3-06-19, I finally just turned it off because buffering was happening 20+ times. I will go elsewhere if you don't do something about this. There are plenty of other reviews about this same issue, so I know this is not just me. You don't get a raise for substandard work. The buffering issue is still happening on 3-07-19.
