I called the HUD office in Phoenix, AZ and spoke with a Raphael Mecham on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 to get help with a problem I have with the housing authority in my area. Well this individual said he would give my information over to a co-worker for her to follow-up with me the next day. Well to no avail, this woman never contacted me and I called in today (April 14, 2010) and spoke again with Mr Mecham, who apologized and said this woman doesn't handle complaints and she will not be calling you back. He admitted to me that he gave me wrong information! I immediately requested from him to connect me to his manager and he flat out refused to do that. His reasons were that no managers deal with any complaints that come into their office. This Mr Mecham then gives me a toll free number on the east coast to call. I demanded from him to connect me with a manager there, and he said that he was not going to comply with my request and said to me he would hang up on me. After I persistently asked for a manager on his rude conduct on the phone with me, he then asked for a female employee to come over to the phone and witness my conversation with him. I simply asked him in the conversation, as to why he didn't bother calling me back today to address the fact that his co-worker was unable to assist me with my problem, and he gave me no response to the question, nor did he even care with his attitude that he exhibited! After he didn't cooperate with me in getting me a manager to speak with, I hung up on this idiot. This Mr. Mecham should be reprimanded or terminated for his inappropriate, rude, uncooperative behavior!
I hear that you are a single man with no children; and that you are "disabled." Let me guess, you hurt your back at work; you tripped over something; you slipped on chicken juice in the supermarket. Give us some details, so that we don't think you are just a scam artist, looking for a free ride. The lowest ### live off of the taxes that the top 1% pay. You get a tax refund every year; I pay in over $1, 000, 000 because I am successful and you are a degenerate.
As one who has been on the other end, listening to a very disappointed/irrate customers, keeping your cool and focus will help the person on the other line stay cool and focused. If that doesn't work, because some people just don't give a damn about the customer, don't ever be afraid to go to the top. Here are few links to contact the site director (because she works out of the regional San Fransisco office, you might want to get a hold of her there as well.) With the determination of a bulldog and the smile/voice of an angel you'll find someone who will help. Don't get me wrong, you'll find 99.99% of people who don't give a damn and still others who will only have poison that spews from their mouths, just keep going.

How many kids do you have? If you lie, and say "none", than why can't you support yourself? Are you here illegally? How long have you been sucking on the welfare teat? Have you ever worked in your entire life? Why are you asking for HUD help--I never have; no one that I know ever has asked for HUD help; sounds like you are a welfare [censored].
I suggest that you pack up your 8 kids; and swim back to Mexico. I'm sure that they will help you with your endeavor to live for free, off of the taxpayers.
