We purchased a Ragdoll kitten from Kristen Avila. Rather than tell a tale, I will report relevant facts.

-Kristen falsified our kittens veterinary record.

-Kristen promised us a health guarantee and TICA registration, she blocked my phone number after we received our kitten same day. We have taken the kitten to the vet for simple routine vax, and will later on and are deathly afraid our kitten will have a congenital issues like so many people posting here.

-Kristen in writing and verbally stated we would be sold a TICA certified ragdoll at a price commensurate with a cat that is registered, and now we are left with a cat that for all we know is not a ragdoll.

-Kristen will be taken to small claims and any other legal avenues will be explored. Please message me if she has any other outstanding claims or issues, for they may be combinable and will lead to greater damages.

-Kristen used a fake name while dealing with us, and when I reached out from a different number she claimed to be her father texting from her cellphone, and stated Kristen was in a coma. She appeared under the influence when we met her, licking her lips, sweating, and making involuntary facial movements that are similar to those under the influence of a stimulant; I am a drug and alcohol counselor and this is a hunch. This is purely an opinion (regarding drug use) and would explain her behavior. Kristen admitted to being a substance user during our interaction, and stated not to allow our kitten around THC stating she had a cat close to her die when it got into some form of THC due to a seizure.

I hope Kristen can be honest, pay her dues, and get healthy, because for someone who regularly mentions being a mother and Christian, she seems to be fine role modeling being a con-artist and a dishonest.

I contacted Kristen Avila in May 2018 for a male, blue point Ragdoll kitten. She texted a photo of a blue point female she was breeding with Keeper (a blue point male). She knowingly accepted my deposit for a blue point Ragdoll kitten for which she never bred. She finally responded after 6+ months that none of the litter resulted in a blue point, they all ended up bi-color, but both parents were blue point. She indicated that she would refund our deposit but since has ceased all communication.

I'm happy to print screen all correspondence for those in disbelief. Documentation has also been included in small claims forms.

Kristen Avila, the owner of Beautydoll Ragdoll sold me an unhealthy cat with an enlarged heart, diarrhea, ear infection and he could not use his back legs. He has had health problems since I got him just like other cats' owners complaints. Being slient for a while because sometimes breeders cannot control health problems but since Kristen breached the contract by not replacing with a new kitty, I decided to tell the public the truth and have no choice but get my money back by legal actions. She was nice in the beginning, so I was always being thoughtful for her, even so thoughtful that I accepted the fact that she didn't provide health record like she promised. However, since my cat's being having health problems and she refused to communicate and refused to either replace with a new cat, I finally believe it's not the Vets' problems like she said. I have medical records from 4 Vets including one specialist's, so many Vets proof are not gonna lie while she still said it's owners' problems not hers, so don't buy kittens from her or else you are gonna have a lot to deal with. Also, it's so unethical that when she replied me cause I requested refund, she said I refused her offer to replace with a new kitty while she was the one who blocked my phone number, didn't reply my emails.
Also, in the beginning, I know she's a mother, so when she didn't send pictures or videos and kept changing our meeting address, I know everyone is busy, so I chose to be thoughtful. But what customers cannot tolerate is that a breeder sold you an unhealthy cat. I've only had my cat only for 6 months and there was no stop visiting the Vet, especially the cat has an enlarged heart and other problems and he couldn't use his back legs. What we customers cannot tolerate is that we paid so much money, $1400 to a breeder but she doesn't even want to make what's wrong right. It is so unfortunate that I went to a breeder like this. I highly suggest all ragdoll cats lovers to do your research and capture all the abnormal signs so that you would not lose your beloved pets. There are a lot of good breeders in So Cal and just do your research.

I purchased an adult male ragdoll from this breeder. She promised me she would take him back and reimburse me if my allergies Did not adjust. She also told me he was healthy. He had cat acne and was front declawed. Both of which seemed to surprise her. After two weeks I contacted her to return the cat, and after three months of her canceling plans last minute, stating that she had personal emergencies, always out of town, she contacted me stating that I am on my own and she will not take back the cat and reimburse me.
