This company works through so many various companies.. Living Social had a deal for $49 for two people/ 2 night hotel & flight to go to Vegas. After reading more details there is also a $60 booking fee and a $75- $150 MAX fee for airline taxes per person. So we figure okay great at MOST we would spend $204.50 a person. Then Living Social has us go through all these different companies to redeem our certificate and when we finally get our “itinerary” it isn’t even itemized and it says flight/hotel will be $475 a person and we are responsible for $150 plus any amount over $250! I hop on Priceline and within one minute I found a hotel/flight for only $280 on the same dates. These people are just making up prices and will not return calls/emails! They said I need to figure out the other companies that they are working with because they work through tons of other companies. INSANE!

We have redeemed our certificate on 8/26/2015, and was informed that I will be received travel information within a week. I have not gotten any travel information, then we have redeemed our certificate again on 9/14/2015, and still no response. We also sent an email to them thru their customer service website and get no answer. It seems to me this company is cheating on us. Which authority we should complaint it to?

con't from previous comment: I cut off the beginning of my comment above. My nightmare started the day I got a call and I bought a package from Newport Travel for $400 for a Orlando, Daytona, Bahama's cruise and in place of the Bahama's they gave me a "gift". The rest of my story is on the above comment. If anyone has done the homework and has contact information for who ever we can report this to, i.e., BBB, Attorney General, I just don't know but here I sit at 4:30 in the morning stewing over this and how much time I have spent trying to keep notes, etc.

said I would never use the Bahama's part so they offered me this great "free airfare for 2" and 2 other hotel getaways. In early March 2015, I booked a hotel thru Newport Travel for June 2015 in Ft. Lauderdale and will get my timeshare presentation obligation in. In the meantime I received the airfare certificate from TriStar / certificateforyou.com, and paid the $65 for the airfare on my charge card. I had to wait 4-10 days for a voucher in the mail, I received my voucher with yet another website, HotelAndAirPromotions.com, tried to input the codes, yes product code 32 HWA, and it didn't take it - nothing happened when I hit "redeem" ! Since March 6th I have been trying to track down someone to get the flight booked. Do we have any recourse? I rec'd the voucher from hotelandairpromotions.com when it was suppose to come from HotelAndAirFareForTwo.com via certificateforyou.com, via Vacation Getaway. I called my bank this week to dispute the $65 on my credit card. You only have 2 months to be able to dispute a credit card charge, this could be one reason they drag this on and are nonresponsive to emails and website comments. Has anyone had any success at reporting these websites? These people need to be stopped.

I just found this link: http://www.vacationgetawayincentives.com/hotelandairfarefortwo.php and apparently, the furniture company that is giving out these certificates is also making money off of those that actually redeem the voucher! the company pays $99 and they can print unlimited vouchers. this is horrible! this is a complete scam. I am going to refund my furniture...this is not honest business..I knew something was up when the workers were avoiding my questions about this free trip. the stupid thing is I spent almost $2000 on furniture because they said I could get a free trip for 4 people! I am pissed off right now!

copied and pasted:
Commissions for Certificates Redeemed: When your customers redeem their certificate, you will be paid a commission of $3-$6 per certificate redeemed depending on the amount redeemed each month. Click here to see the breakdown of commissions you receive. You will be issued an ID Number that will be located at the bottom right corner of all your printed and online certificates. No one else will have your ID Number, which is used to track all of your redemptions. In your account area you will be able to view the amount of commissions you've earned. Commissions are paid the first week of every month by either check or PayPal. If your commission is less than $20 for a particular month, it will continue to accrue and you will be paid once it exceeds $20.

I have purchased a $99 vacation package from nomorerack.com. I sent in the information to redeem this voucher and and received this email:
Below are the proposed flight itinerary and hotel accommodations. Traveler is responsible for $150 per person for booking fee and taxes as well as costs over $250 per person for the flight. Please respond with in 48 hours if you wish to book.

Flight Cost-Per Person: $782.14
*Cost does not reflect $250 flight credit

Hotel Information: Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino
Additional Nights: $ 99 each (if applicable)

Reservations Department
Reservations@HotelandAirPromotion.com

$782. for airfare! I can walk into the airport and walk up to the ticket counter and reserve a round trip flight or a little over $500 for those EXACT dates, leaving and arriving at the exact locations. And When I purchased this trip it said that the $65 booking fees will be waived, but this email states that I would be responsible for it. Being a "Travel Company" they should be getting discounted airfare, not inflated prices to charge customers. I have sent an email to nomorerack.com which is the company I purchased this sham of a vacation deal from, and am awaiting their response as to a refund. I emailed hotelandairpromotions.com about my itinerary and I sent email after email and finally received a response that just reiterated what I had wrote them in my email. They are of no help at all, and when I asked to speak to someone over the phone that might be a little more helpful to me and I would not have to correspond through email they (hotelandairpromotions.com) said NO! All questions or concerns can be done by email. What kind of customer service is that!

I would caution ANYONE that is interested in purchasing this vacation package. It is a complete scam. you can get cheaper prices at the airport or tavelocity.com or orbits.com, or priceline.com anywhere but this company.

I am very pissed off. these are all necessary fees. I thought I was going to be able to enjoy a cheap trip of town. Instead they want me to pay 300+ per person for a flight after the 250 is credited per person and with renky denk hotel accommodations. I could have planned a better trip on my own. I have been straight robbed of my money. trust me, They are not getting away with this!

I received my voucher as part of a timeshare presentation in vegas one year ago. I paid $65 to activate it last week and received my voucher in the mail today. It says all the information that everyone above has stated and says that I need to go to hotelandairpromotion.com to submit a travel request. I am so glad I read everyone's complaints before I proceeded. However, I am very upset that I am out of my $65 I am going to contact the attorney general's office asap and file a complaint with BBB as well.

Here's what to do fellow scammed friends. Contact your State Attorney General. I was directed to fill out a form regarding internet fraud which is called the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) and is also in partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center. This scam evidently crosses state lines. We have a friend of the family in the FBI so they will make sure this is looked into. Since our ad was in our local newspaper we will also be able to involve them as well. Pretty dumb on Next Stage / Hotel & Air's part as I was willing to pay their jacked up price. This just shows this is a total scam.

I won't go into details because it would be the same as all of the above. I've given them a week, after 3 weeks of no responses, so this Tues. which happens to be 9/11/2-12 I am taking this to the Texas State Attorney General. As we know of several others from El Paso that are fuming about this we're also taking it to our local news paper who ran the ad so they hopefully won't do business with Next Stage or Hotel and Air Promotions. "Always here to help" my butt. I've been advised our attorney general can whoop.

I'm trying to book a "deal" to Las Vegas with them right now for the past 2 months and they have not been able to get me a confirmation on their quoted itinerary. I have tried this countless times with no luck.

The voucher I got from them has no phone number and the only way to try and reach them is through email to Reservations@HotelandAirPromotion.com. They route you around to so many website locations that it is hard to even know who is responsible for what.

Their itinerary email starts out with something like so:
Below are the proposed flight itinerary and hotel accommodations. Traveler is responsible for $150 per person for booking fee and taxes as well as costs over $250 per person for the flight. Please respond with in 48 hours if you wish to book.

This is a total rip off and scam, and I can not even get a solid response from them to redeem my voucher. To get the voucher, I had to pay $65 to HotelAndAirFareForTwo.com. They are all related somehow and are just collecting money to give fake itineraries and broken promises. I would be interested in taking them to court or filing a formal complaint to stop this scam.

I would be very interested in a group lawsuit. I dealt with these people several years ago and decided it was not worth my time to jump through all the hoops so I took the $60 as a loss.
I now received this as a promotion for another travel group and have received no response to emails. I, unfortunately ended up paying twice, once at the beginning of the offer and now wanting to use it to sign up for a specific trip (OK, stop chuckling) and have not heard back in three weeks. Samuel, above, who is part of their Customer Service, continues the same runaround with no specific way of contacting them. Let's bring them to court.

The same happened to me - received an overpriced offer for wrong dates. E-mailed back twice to correct the issue - it has been 3 weeks, still haven't heard back. And there is no way to call them and get my money back. Customer Relationships team - my order ID: 32HWA. Anybody is interested in a group lawsuit?

I am having the same problem. The overage for the flight is $200.00 more than I can book myself for the same flight. This seems far far from being perfect. I have already sent an email back to their address and have not recieved a reply. This does not seem right.

I bought a voucher off of loclly and am having the same problems. I can not believe the fees they are try to charge. It would have been much much cheaper to just book a vacation on my own. They state "•Excludes additional airline fees like baggage, seating, tax, ticketing fee, booking fees, etc. which incur additional fees of no more than $150 per person" when in actuality there is a flat $150 fee upfront. The amount they charge for the airfare is way higher then any fares I am finding online. After the "$250 CREDIT" it would still be cheaper to just book my own flight. No wonder they don't have any phone numbers posted--only e-mail or snail mail. This company needs to be shut down!

Wow! I'm experiencing the same problems with this company. I paid my $60, now that it's time to book my vaca I can't get a hold of someone for reservations. 1st I was told (after looking online myself for cheaper dates to travel), it would be $588 pp before the $250 credit. Then when I called them on it and asked for someone to call or email me back, I got no response til this day. I need to know how do I get my money back?
