I bought two packs of crumb doughnuts today boy was I excited they are my favorite. I usually look at my food before I eat it but not this time. I ate 1 doughnuts & it tasted weird as if it was sprayed with something then my mouth went dry! I spit it out immediately & looked at the rest of the doughnuts they where all molded . This ruined my day I immediately started vomiting.

On 8/17/18 my husband purchased raspberry zingers from a Walgreen's store in Sun City West AZ. The use by date was 8/26/19. He ate two and when he picked up the third he noticed a huge green moldy circle in the middle. He said there was a "gasoline" taste in his mouth. We have pictures and the zinger and will be contacting the fda, BBB and whoever else will listen...based on the myriad of complaints on the internet about the SAME complaint over YEARS, it may be time to contact legal counsel. More to come, no doubt.

I purchased these for my lunch. Well not sure where the apple was I only had one tiny piece of apple. This was a big disappointment to me since I very seldom buy what I call treats. Never will purchase again. Waste of money. I realize ingredients are costly but apples are not that expensive— maybe you could put a slice of apple in it. Since I wanted an apple treat not a sauce treat.

We bought a box of 10 from big lots today and 6 had a cut in the plastic beside of where they was sealed they came out of the box like that we got 4 out of the box. we bought them for our grandkids and we had to go get a different box for the to snack on we bought some more because the grandkids love them but they was disappointed to see them like that and I wouldn't let them eat them because they was steal

I bought the Hostess Bakery Petites Double Chocolate today at a mini Mart. I opened the bag in the car and immediately smelled a rancid odor. I simultaneously had taken a cake ball out and had put it in my mouth to eat. I was driving and could not spit it out. It tasted horrible and "sour." Thank goodness my daughter didn't eat one. But she gagged when she smelled the inside of the bag. Chemical, kerosene, gas odors all describe the smell. I've kept the bag in case I get sick and the doctor needs to see it.

I bought it 8-17-19 in Guilford, CT. I have also filed a report with the CT Department of Health. These products should be removed from the shelves. I'm hoping I don't get sick but if I do i will contact Hostess. This appears not to be an isolated incident looking at the numerous complaints.

I called Monday August 12th about a chunk of plastic I found in my Zingers. They sent me 3 coupons for single serve product and I have to provide a container to send the product back to you. I think that's kind of cheap on your part. Especially when I ate one of the Zingers that were contaminated. We got them at Walmart in Russellville KY on 08/15/2019 at about 2:20 pm. The pie filling was jellied firm and off colored. Tasted weird too. Tossed it to the dog. Dog didn't complain so either it was me or maybe this was a new line of dog treats, which I don't think it was. It was definitely the first of literally THOUSANDS of pies I've eaten by y'all.

Dear hostess customer service people,
The only other time I even contemplated writing you was also in regards to the above mentioned product and I was going to inquire as to whether or not you add crack cocaine to your product. Seriously though, I'm pretty sure I single handedly keep this line in business as I eat a box to myself in a matter of hours. Unfortunately as I write to you this time about this product, I'm writing to say my beloved coffee cakes have tainted my taste buds. I had to do some last minute errands and like so many times before I hastily threw a couple of boxes in my cart right before the check-out to indulge my addiction. Being the addict that I am I could not wait to be safe in my home before devouring the sweet goodness of these meth filled miracles so like a raccoon to a trash can I tore open the package and sank my greedy teeth into what I expected to be the soft cinnamon filled fix. What I got instead was a crunchy yet gooey nightmare that I could only describe as little Debbie herself wiping her summer heat sweaty [censored] on my tongue. It does not appear that every cake is ruined but I think it's ruined enough for me that I may have to slow down on my intake. Thanks I guess? In any case please remedy this situation as this was one of the last sources of happiness that my pathetic life had left.

They are totally black on the bottom .I wish I could send you a picture haven't ever seen anything like it before 4 out of the box it looks like mold to me what if my children would have gotten a hold of them it's sad I spend over $3 on a box of of cake and can't even eat one would have had to take them to the hospital my husband passed away a month ago last thing I want is to make one of my kids sick from a cupcake I don't know what it is but not good what ever it is

Very tasty muffins. A little expensive but worth it for the taste and convenience Except 1 of the pouches only had "2" muffins in it? Oops 😬
My family likes blueberry and chocolate chip best but we've tried others and they taste good as well. I know things are automated but I wish there was a way to make sure you get what you pay for of at least 4 in each pouch 😀

On August 1, 2019 we purchased a box of the 14.82oz peanut butter Ding Dongs from Shoprite in Edison NJ.

Opened box when we got home approximately 20 minutes later. My 11 yr old son bit into and immediately spit it out. He said it had a really weird taste.
So I ate a piece and spit it out as well. Something was very wrong with these cakes. It had a sour / acidity taste. It was terrible. We stopped eating any more of those.
The went back to to shoprite to return it but they wouldn't give money back or anything because I didn't have my receipt.
So I'm reaching out to you for some kind of answer or reason these are bad. What was it? A chemical?
I saved the box and samples we bit into. I also took pictures.
Please let me know what to do.

I purchased this snack cake at Leadwood Grab N Go, Leadwood Missouri. When I took a bite the entire bottom and inside was covered with mold! The only number on the package is 1 G020223000 033 10:06. There was no rips or tears in this package before leaving the store. I have taken pictures of the product and packaging. My name is Rachael Snyder and my contact number is [protected].

I bought two bags of the donettes almost 4 dollars a bag and they was stale I looked for a expiration date and the is no date on either bags. There should always be a date on the products so customers knows they are getting fresh products. I will not be buying from Hostess again because they show they do not care. Hostess use to be the best products on the market in the past and they need to go back to the old ways of making good products.

I bought a box of peanut butter ding dongs my 10 month son and i bit into it and it tasted gross ! My son threw up and i spit it out while i helped him not choke because the taste was HORRIBLE. and THOSE 2 bread tasted/reeked of chemicals and burnt plastic so i look on the back of the bread and it had a black spot. And thats what smelled. This is not ok i will definetlu never buy this stuff again if this is how they taste and i love peanut butter so i was excited about eating them. i currently have the bread on my lap and i can smell it. I stopped at the Mobil gastation in Grand Blanc and biught a pack of the 6 pack frosted hostess donuts.I had unpacked my here was a huge black hair wrapped all along the donut and inside the frosting and donut, this is absolutwly disgusting and i will NEVER buy any hostess product again. Especially since this package was sealed, which means someone from your factory was not taking the correct and legal sanitary precautions.

I purchased a box of peanut butter ding dongs tonight for my childrens snack. I took yhe last one out of the box, took one bite, thankfully i did swallow it. It tasted HORRIBLE. it was so bad i started throwing up and no matter what i did i could not get the taste out of my mouth. No the box was not out of date, and  my children did not complain, after i came from the bathroom i smelled the cupcake, it even smells HORRIBLE! To be honest i can not tell what it smells like(NASTY) my husband said it smells like some kind of chemical. Not sure what happens now, but this is NOT ok.

The last couple of times I've purchased these, I noticed they were.so dry, almost overcooked and very little filling. Both had expiration dates were a month or more out. I've been a lifetime customer and this is very disappointing. The first box surprised me because exp date was a month out, so I thought I'd give it another try and same thing.
Very surprised at this quality based on the history of this brand.

I purchased 2 packages of the bakery petites in double chocolate and strawberries and cream. When I got home and put my groceries away I opened the bag of chocolate to find that they had previously melted and were now back to normal temperature and all stuck together. It's a 10 minute drive from the grocery store to my house so I know they did not melt and then re-harden when I had them. I am attaching a picture of the cake mess and my receipt with the time and date of purchase on them.
