Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) service complaint

My name is rakesh. I gave vehicle for service at manasarovar honda service center in velachery. My vehicle number is tn 22 bk 3064. It was supposed to be delivered on 7 feb 2020 and till now vehicle not delivered. I am very afraid to give my vehicle at this honda service center. Initial estimation that gave is 2000 and now by the time vehicle delivered, it will be 4000+. Trust factor is very low. I have submitted the same feeback in the form but I am not sure whether you have got it or not. Very disappointing and afraid to buy honda products as you have these business minded people not the customer oriented service.

I buyed My vehicle in aug 2018 that time bike going well good feeling .but 5 months after bike back suspension making noice and uncomfort feeling then i went to kumar honda mallasudram showroom and ask them. they said it's ok suspension is not repairable so we modifie new one we call u later. Then simply i went .then one month after i went to free service i ask same problem they said i told my senior officer he call u later then i simply went .then one month after i went to showroom they said same still now 2020, such a worst irresponsible company i angry with them and honda pls solve this problem

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) honda activa 5g

I bought activa 5g on 11th September 2019. I had given for first servicing on 20th October, after that i am facing problem in starting. It stops anytime and doesn't starts after that. I contacted Honda showroom and sent twice, they informed me that they need to replace 1-2 parts still when i went to take my bike they didn't replaced and said that you won't face problem again. But it again failed to start after running for 14-15 kms.

Being a trust-able brand from long time this wasn't expected, especially for a new bike.

I had purchase a honda activa i on 10.05.2017 from patel moters (kesar honda) jeypore odisha in the name of Manisha Panigrahi vehicle registration no. OD10M6773 . Since purchase of my vehicle i am facing the starting problem . My scooter stops automatically when i ride it .Several times i complained to the dealer service center but they are not rectifying the problem i am a teacher i always reaching school due to this problem . On dt. 02.12.19 again had a complain to the dealer and submitted my vehicle to the dealer but till date they are not taking any action .

Hello,

I have purchased Honda Unicorn registration KL 28 D 7242 on the date of July 2019. I have bought the motorcycle from Muthoot Honda Pathanamthitta/Ranni. I am a daily commuter and need my bike to be maintained in a good condition and thats the primary reason I opted a Honda motorcycle.
After 3 months of usage I am feeling very disappointed as the authorised service centre Muthoot Honda, Ranny has failed to properly do the service of my motorcycle and to address my concerns faced on the same.
I have complained about oil leakage from the engine side and about loose tail light and other vibrations and abnormal noise from the motorcycle day by day. I have visited the service centre twice and they are not able to rectify the issue even though they say it is rectified while taking the delivery post-service.
I request you to provide an immediate solution for my concern and ensure the authorised service centre is providing valuable service so as not to tarnish the brand's reputation and build the trust of end-user.

Kindly note, I have my complaint against " My Wings Private Limited Honda"
Address - Bhusari Colony, Paud Road, Kothrud, Pune - 38.

And also against "ICICI Lombard General Insurance"

I Mahesh Gujare (Mob # - [protected]), My Vehicle No. Mh-12 NF9428 ( The vehicle is on the name of Pushpa Nagesh Gujare) had a policy with ICICI Lombard and had gone to 'My Wings Honda, Kothrud Barnch" for renewal on 3rd February 2019.
I had met Mss. Sapana and she gave me ICICI lombard policy amounting Rs. 6359/- for three years.
I gave her a blank cheque and she filled up all the details and while doing the same she had done some mistakes due to which the cheque was not accepted. She also never informed me that we need to fill up the cheque and give her, she just took it randomly and fill it up by her self.
The the vehicle met with an accident on 21 May 2019. So after that i left the vehicle at Bhubhandari Bhavani peth Branch for repair and claim process. Then we registered the claim and got the claim no. - MOT08776185. Mr. Sayyed had visited and done the verification of the accidental vehicle and gave go ahead to the Service centre for repairs of vehicle under claim.
But after that i got a call after two three days from Bhubhandari your vehicle is ready and your claim is rejected and please make the payment and collect the vehicle. So i was shocked after receiving the said call.
Then after that I called Mr. Sayyed and told him the whole scenario and he informed me to discuss the said isssue with Mr. Vishal Patil form ICICI Lombard (Mob. - 9011020070). He told that you have give the cheque to My wing so please get it touch with them. Then I had a discussion in the accounts department with Mr. Manish and he also never gave a positive response. After that I had a personal discussion with Mr. Gaurav Pandey (Service Head) of My Wing Honda and he informed me that we can't help you as its your mistake you have not filled up the cheque. Then I had a discussion with Mr. Jai Ram (General Manager ) of My wing he also gave me the same reason.
So now what is the next action I can except for the such renowned service providers. This is the way they are buffing with the normal customers and playing the blame game. We had paid the cheque on time, but due to the mistake others why should i be penalized. I need my claim to be accepted and approved and if not done then i need to move to the consumer court and will take a strict action against all those who have not supported in this. Really very sorry to say but no one is bothered at all and have became unprofessional and also wanst to trouble the end customers at the cost of their own mistakes.

Please provide me a solution on priority basis.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) Inappropriate behaviour by staff

To the concerned authorities,

Today I was at the Honda service center and it is with genuine regret that I'm informing you about the treatment being meted out to a valuable customer by an uncouth employee of Honda. While chatting with the mechanic who worked on my bike, I asked him whether he had changed the oil filter or not. To which he replied that he had only cleaned it. I was having doubts that how can an oil filter be cleaned but decided to keep quiet.

Later on, while inspecting the bill, I found out that I had been charged with an oil filter
'change'. To which I asked the mechanic in question to sort it out with the billing authority. Now here the mechanic said that he had indeed 'changed' the oil filter. When I reminded him that he had told me something different earlier on, he said he was talking about the 'air' filter back then.

Now coming to the part which pissed me off. He back-answered me in front of 10 people that you should know about these things in the first place. When I said that this is not the way you behave with your customer, he said he doesn't care about the customer. Things escalated from here onwards.

The name of the employee in question is Mayur Deshpande.

I hope that appropriate action is taken so that future customers don't get treated like this. That's the least I can expect from a reputed brand like Honda.

i would like to share to my problem for buying for Honda shine because my bike suddenly off and not to start its happen many time i also complain to toll free no n many time in service center but my problem cannot solve i bought only 1 yrs but my bike suddenly start off many many time in Nepal i complain Honda toll free no but giving answer is not satisfy. so i complain i need permanent solution.

We gave the vehicle first service at planet honda rajajinagar showroom at that time service executives wrongly mentioned that vehicle is runned about 30707 km but vehicle is actually runned about 3707 km but they didn't informed us aboi this when we went give second service at other showroom then we came to know about this ...is this the way you treat customers and is that all you honda give customer satisfaction about your product

Team Honda & Management,

As I had complaint about my honda dio front mud guard and vibration related issue, hope you will refer to above mentioned ticket no.

I am very disappointed again by honda service center this Saturday dated 27-04-2019, I became happy this time they resolved my dio vibration issue but even after a month they neither could manage to repair my mud guard nor replace with new one, saying that their is no part( mud guard) available. Whenever I asked to them about my dio mud guard issue, they answer the same when it (mud guard) would be available, would resolved. After receiving my deo, after some work I was surprised that my dio foot mat is stolen from it, No one take responsibility about it while I repeatedly say kindly go through your cctv footage, but manager refused to do so, Then I say kindly arrange me new foot mat, for that I will paid, but there is no foot mat available there too. This time it's too much, as I feel there all the staff making me fool. It's seems that Managers are deployed there only for time pass, at there they are cunning to cheat honda's valuable customers.

I couldn't understand why my complaint has been closed without resolving my above mentioned issue, is it under Honda policy.
Kindly don't made fool your valuable customers.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) activa 5g two eheeler.

The Battery provided by company in my Activa 5G purchased on 22-06-2018 is not working at all. Now, the "self start device" is not woking at all, resulting starting problem. On 13/04/2019 I approached M/s AADHYA AUTO MART PVT LTD Rupnarayanpur, authorised dealer from where I have purchased the said twowheeler, they have dismentalled the battery for testing which took 24 hours. As a result I have to ride the twowheeler without horn, fuel meter indication & speedometer indication which is causing unforeseen problems. On 14/04/2019 the authorised service center advised me to come after 24th of April so that necessary actions will be taken for replacement of the battery, which may take another 20 to 25 days. I would like to mention here that during warranty validity & also extended warranty for 36 months, my situation is as such. Now, I am in the opinion that unfortunately I have made a mistake by purchasing Activa 5G two wheeler. The service rendered by the authorised dealer is not upto the mark. My twowheeler registration No. is -WB38 AP 8726. Request for early redressal of my problem.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) faulty new headlight (caused horrific situation at night)

Namaste,

Last month (07.03.2019) I got my Honda Activa 4G serviced from the Ghani Motor's, Kadamkode. Since my purchase of this Vehicle on 02.06.2017, there was no need for headlight change until 07.03.2019 - the day I bought for around 300 rupees including all taxes. This new headlight stopped working today on 11.04.2019, which is just 35 days after my last service at Ghani Motors, Kadamkode. I was shocked at this terribly. This is not just about losing my money, this is about the "huge trust" I have been keeping on Honda Products and Services for a very long time. The first bulb lasted for 643 days whereas the Second bulb, which is also the very first bulb from the Honda Service Centre, Kadamkode (Ghani Motors) lasted only for 35 days.

I was traveling with a pillon rider rider. We started our journey back to home after attending a marriage function today just after the sunset. As it became darker and darker, we realised that we driving without headlight. Even there was another small bulb glowing inside the headlight, we couldn't see a tiny bit of the road. We couldn't stop the vehicle in a strange place to come back home or to look for a workshop. We used the left and right indicators to finish the whole dangerous journey. Our lives were at stake with your faulty headlight. We love Honda. But if it tries to take our lives, how can we have trust in Honda. We are afraid if the 3 month regular services go vain... We doubt, not all the necessary works are done properly.
This is like we are paying for "no work" or "incomplete work" or "improper work".

Those fourty minutes of journey back to home was the horrible moments in our lives. We were not just worried about money, our main concern was our lives. When the headlight stopped working, all those slippery parts of the roads, the pits on the roads, the humps, a barking street dog, all the people walking on the roads, the people at the other vehicles were all trying to kill us. Also, we could possibly damage other lives or properties. We also found Police watching us at point. They could even charge us fine or scold us for riding with faulty headlight.

Please do the needful, before this and much more could fly into the social media.

Hope you will warn the one's who are responsible and they will do proper work hereafter.

Problem: Within 3.5 years of usage of vehicle Engine noise due to the relevant spares defect in the engine parts.

Model : LIVO (CBF110SG)
Sold On Date: 03/08/2015
Dealer Name: Chandra Honda, Mettupalayam road, Coimbatore

The mentioned vehicle is so far promptly serviced on time, Please get verified by the service records . Last 3 services were taken care by Kammalam Honda, Coimbatore .

Since 20 days it is observed that there is some abnormal noise in the engine and the same is brought noticed to the customer care by toll free call. As suggested it has been handed over to Kammalam Honda today.

By having the trust on Honda, I am purchased this vehicle Honda Livo as a first batch customer at the time it is launched at Coimbatore. Even though Ipaid the money I was not able to get the registration number due to the registration formalities of new vehicle at your end. I mentioning this because that much I trust Honda and purchased the vehicle on account of that!

Hope Honda could understand the customer pain do the necessities .

Dear team veichle — ragistration number/br33w1289, smita kumari, bought from sanya honda mohanpur road samastipur bihar on august 2016.. Dealer has not given my rc upto now. Police cuts chlaan again & again for rc but your dealer is not ready to give rc. I m contacting any time to your dealer and also complaint to your customer care on 12 — 01-2019, but no one want to solve my problem, so please shortout soon neither I can do fir to your dealer and also legal to your comapny.

Sub: regarding complaint no: 1- [protected] dated 14/1/2019.
I am writing this letter with great disappointment. I have purchased a cb unicorn bike (kl 52j 9690) from your kerala, thrissur, puzhakkal dealer johns honda on 11th may 2016. This bike showed oil leak and sound complaint frequently. Fitting were not proper even after servicing because its showed vibration from silencer and also missed thread of alien key bolt which is from engine part.
At the end of 2018, I gave this bike again for servicing (on 6th october 2018) due to sound from engine. How ever, it was not rectified even after servicing. Service advisor told that it will become fine after oil circulation. Further, I informed the same while attending customer feed back call. After two weeks, I again approached for service, but they postponed again. Finally, I gave bike for servicing on 19th december and they demanded rs.19, 642/-.
As I am working as a sales man and my work need a lot of travelling. Keeping this purpose with in my mind I selected this bike (viz. Honda, cb unicorn) and select your authorized service for regular servicing. (johns honda, thrissur). You can check this fact by verifying your service records.
Its not justifiable that they demanded this much amount for servicing with in two years even after doing regular recommended services form the company. Therefore I request you to please consider this as manufacturing defect and do the needful.
If you cant take a favorable action for me, I request you to please take appropriate measures to provide the job card and bills related to servicing.

My new honda grazia kl 64 g 6301 has purchased jhons honda chalakudy. I facing problems on my scooter I give to 1st service. I told them all problems on my scooter. After finish service the still all problems remaining. I inform service center they told me to give another date to service. Now I finish my 1st service 3times it all take 1weak time. Now also all problems facing on my scooter. Im not satisafied honda servicing.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) intentional harassment by non-servicing

SUBJECT: Negligence in proper Servicing of my Motorcycle, Honda CB Trigger 150 CC by the Honda Service Centre opposite Rajarajeshwari Nagar Arch, Mysore Road, Bangalore and also ill-behaviour by Manjunath and other person.

I am K.S.Ravikumar, Software Engineer by profession booked a CB Trigger on 06-11-2013 and received the motorcycle on 16-11-2013. My Motorcycle registration number is KA05 JB 4908. I have faced some SERIOUS problems dealing with the Service team at "Silicon Honda", RV Road, Bangalore and "Silicon Honda", Opposite Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore. The chronologies of the events are as follows:-
1. I lodged a SERIOUS complaint with respect to problem with the GEAR SHIFTING back in 2013 when the motorcycle was brand new. The gear automatically shifted either from Neutral to first Gear or vice versa, and from First Gear to Second Gear or vice versa. This is EXTREMELY SERIOUS problem because, while riding the Motorcycle, Gear shifting would happen automatically from First Gear to Neutral. This is a very serious problem because if I had just shifted the Gear from Neutral to First gear and the bike is on the moving and there is a fast moving HEAVY vehicle just behind me and if the Gear automatically shifted from First gear to Neutral, the Motorcycle would slow down drastically and I would be knocked off by the HEAVY vehicle behind me which could prove FATAL. There are several instances where the Motorcycle would stop abruptly in the middle of the road. I was almost hit by a BMTC (Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation) on several occasions. So I orally complaint to the then Service Manager at Silicon Honda, R.V Road, Bangalore, but to no avail. Therefore, I visited the Dealer Mr. S.M.Baliga's office and complained regarding the same. Mr. Baliga was quite helpful in inquiring about the same and they delivered by motorcycle in few hours' time completely rectified. The above mentioned incidents are extremely serious in nature as the very reason the Work Manager of the Silicon Honda Service team Mr. Om Prakash's reluctance in fixing my motorcycle's Gear Box problem could prove FATAL.

2. With reference to the above subject, I would like to bring to your attention that I have been servicing my Motorcycle from the Honda Service Centre opposite Rajarajeshwari Nagar Arch, Mysore Road, Bangalore since 2015. Since then, there were deficiencies in servicing my Motorcycle on several instances and I have complained about the same to Narayanaswamy, the then Manager, Honda Service Centre opposite Rajarajeshwari Nagar Arch, Mysore Road and Narayanaswamy would immediately rectify the anomalies and defects. But a person by name Manjunath at a lower cadre would create these problems which Narayana Swamy rectified. But in the recent times, no proper servicing is being done to my Motorcycle. The same Manjunath is being elevated to Service Manager's position presently and he behaves very arrogantly and does not work in same spirit as Honda company, a highly esteemed company works.

3. I delivered my Motorcycle for servicing on 19.09.2018 and also paid an amount of Rs. 1, 489 on 20.09.2018, but I am totally disappointed, dissatisfied and frustrated with the service provided by the Honda servicing centre. I complained about the Mileage of the motorcycle which has come down drastically and also that there is problem while shifting gears. Balu, one of the personnel at the Honda servicing centre, opposite Rajarajeshwari Nagar Arch, Mysore Road, Bangalore listened to my problems and received my motorcycle for servicing on 19.09.2018. Instead of solving the problems in my Motorcycle, an additional problem was added after delivering my Motorcycle on 20.09.2018. Now my motorcycle has 3 problems Gear Shifting Problem, Mileage problem and Oil leakage problem. There has been OIL LEAKAGE since 20.09.2018 which pictures I have sent to Ravikumar, Manager at Honda, R.V Road, Jayanagar, Bangalore through WHATSAPP application from my Mobile (Number - [protected]). I complained about the additional problem of oil leakage to Manjunath and Balu at Honda Service Centre opposite Rajarajeshwari Nagar Arch, Mysore Road, Bangalore. Manjunath started confusing me by telling me that some important and costly part of my Motorcycle has been damaged and also enquired "IF I HAVE OPTED FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY OF 5 YEARS". Manjunath has not only been extracting money by giving silly reasons, he also has been confusing and misleading me. Since, I have opted for the Extended Warranty of 5 Years at the time of purchasing the Motorcycle in 2013, I informed him so. Then, he started to confuse me that I will have to pay extra for the removal of the self-induced oil leakage problem. He started to give a Idli-sambar example, at which point Balu informed Manjunath not to speak to me or clarify my doubts. Manjunath has been making serious attempts to fool me as a customer of Honda and such act of his is very much Intentional.

4. Manjunath has been behaving in such a manner for the past 2-3 years and always hints me very obliquely that he has police friends. I have been prosecuting certain policeman who have worked at Rajarajeshwari Nagar police station in 2013 for Illegal Detention, criminal conspiracy and criminal Intimidation among others and also a Traffic police sub-inspector from the K.R.Puram police station for other cognizable criminal offences. If it is found that Manjunath has been acting at the instance of some corrupt policeman, I reserve the right to prosecute him for criminal conspiracy among other criminal offences. I also reserve a right to file a complaint before the Consumer Redressal Forum at Bangalore for "deficiency" in service under the Consumer Protection Act. Manjunath has not only caused severe inconvenience, waste of time and money, but also mental harassment among others. People like Manjunath are spoiling the name of a Good and reputed company like Honda.

5. With regards to this complaint, I delivered my Motorcycle on 12.10.2018 to rectify all the aforementioned problems to Ravikumar, Manager at Honda, R.V Road, Jayanagar, Bangalore. Today i.e. 15.10.2018, I received my motorcycle, and Ravikumar told me that all the problems have been solved. But, Ravikumar refused to accept my written complaint, he used abusive words and further has not been picking my phone calls. Ravikumar is hand-in-glove with Manjunath.

6. Therefore, I request a fair inquiry into the above complaint against Manjunath and Ravikumar for suitable and appropriate action, in the interest of justice.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) service quality, managerial staffs attitude, huge labour charges.

my honda unicorn vehicle (KL 29D 9744) was serviced @ Shymas honda harippad branch(haripad, kerala, pin code - 690514) on 13 September 2018. I'm not satisfied with the service at all. Huge bill amounts & labour charges. its extremely high.very poor behaviour & attitude from the service manager mr.shibu lal. also he doesn't care about the service quality & timings. also there is no inverter or any other alternative way for power loss. water service is also not done due to lack of electricity. very poor atmosphere. These are a great disadvantages for a reputed company like honda two-wheelers india ltd. so take seriously
