Homechoice Fraudulent account

Hi. I have recently learned that there a fraudulent account opened with Homechoice and its in arrears. I have never opened and don't intend opening an account with Homechoice. I learned about the fraud account when using the clearscore platform to check available products.

I did call Homechoice over the phone and laid a complaint but haven't heard from them. I also sent a complaint with clearscore so that they may remove this account from there. They advised that I should lay a complaint.

Desired outcome: Close the account and remove it from experian as I never opened it.

I received a call from a homechoice asking me that I'm in arreas on my account and I told the lady who called me that I didn't place an order neither received anything from them. I was told that order was delivered somewhere in Joburg at Meadowlands. I told them that I stay in Ladysmith KZN. So I want them to remove my name on credit burear as that happened is their mistake they did why they never called me from the first as there was an order for me ask about my address as they are calling now.They must to that address they delivered to .because now my name is bad for credit score. I want them to clear my name.They must also do investigation to their staff.I'm tired of this thing of them calling me now and again.

Homechoice Base and mattress

Hi

I bought a base and mattress last year October and it was bad product and I sent a complain about it this year May and the mattress was changed but the new one is doing the same as the one that was changed, when you sleep on it you hear spring sound and you can also feel the springs, it is soo uncomfortable. I also picked up that the base is also broken.
I would like lay an urgent complaint regarding my bed that I'm still paying for. This is really frustrating as I came to buy a bed at homechoice because I thought it sells best quality but now I'm experiencing this.

This is totally unacceptable

Homechoice HVAC Run Around

We sent a request in for our HVAC to be looked at on 8/8 and it is not 8/19 and we are getting the run around. The company representative (Joscelyn [protected]) agreed to the recommendation of the company (that they chose). Later that day we get an internal message stating an unnamed manager denied this and we will be getting another company to come out on 8/24. This is unacceptable. They will not cough up the name of the manager. Irene stated that they were no longer working there. We asked several times for a current manager to call. They will call is in 24 hours.
Their legal designee agreed with their contractor to replace the unit. We do not want another person out here so we can wait who knows how long for a resolution. I imagine they are shopping for someone who will say something different so they do not have to honor their warranty.
We have screen shots of the threads, but cannot upload as it is not a picture.

Desired outcome: Allow original company to replace unit as previously approved.

Homechoice HP laptop, went for repair never returned.

Hi My name is Rebecca Mamohapi Motloung
I have bought HP laptop from home choice last year, all of a sudden we encounter problems with the lap top, it will just freeze by not functioning, we initially thought maybe is a network problem but it continue doing that this time freezing for some minutes, that is when I call them to inform them, That is when they send the courier on the 6th of June 2021 and we gave them the cable charger as well, I have been calling to do the follow up from the second week after the courier took it, I have almost 4 reference numbers that I kept after every call that I have made to do the follow up, the last call before today's call with reference [protected], when I asked when will they bring it, they said they do not know, please assist my daughter need that laptop for her studies, REF : [protected], (June 2021) Ref:[protected] (6/07/2021), Ref:[protected] (4/08/2021) and today as well ReF [protected] (11/08/2021)

Homechoice My complaint was about my account debit amount

My complain is about the Call Centre service in South Africa, The consulted are as rude as you will never imagine, They don't know how to help people, I call 3 time within 30 minutes and all are the same, they drop a phone while you still talking, they put a phone aside while you still talking, they shout at you when you try to explain your problem to them.

I will appreciate if these consultants or sales peoples will be discipline cause, they're not representing your company well.

Homechoice Restonic bed

I took a restonic bed from homechoice with an installment they have offered me a great service all the time.. But i'm just not happy about this bed I have had it for only 3 months but it makes noise when I turn or when I climb it.. I mean i'm not even big.. I'm a size 8 but god it makes sounds my partner is now angry with me because I forced him that we must buy it.. I own a seal bed for 10 years but it doesn't make the noise like this one.. Please I need help on this.. I mean i'm paying a lot of money for it to do this..

Homechoice Bad service

Around january 2021, I ordered lap top from homechoice and I got it. During march it gave me problems, I returned it and waited for months for it to be returned or fixed. When I called I was told I need to pay for it to be fixed because the screen is cracked, which was not the problem when I returned it (the screen was fine), I sent pictures as evedince then they realized I didn't crack the screen and promised to fix the screen. Few weeks after, I called to check if they fixed the laptop, sti there was nothing. Then they returned the laptop to me unfixed, I had to complain again. Then they came and took it, now it's august, am still waiting for the laptop to be fixed. I called fonechoice and every one that answered me, promised to come to me and give me feed back but to this day nothing. What's boring is that, some days when I call, they will tell me to wait and i'll definitely wait for even more than 20 minutes. Iam paying for the laptop but am not even using it, i've never experienced such bad service before. I really regret trusting homechoice with my money and trusting their service. Below is proof of the problem the laptop had.

Homechoice Bad customer service

I just called Homechoice customer service now @ 16:22 20/07/2021. Wanting my cellphone number to be changed. The consultant that answered the phone was extremely rude. You will swear she did not want to answer the phone. She did not even give me her name, she kept on talking over me. She did not help me at all. I asked to speak to the manager or anyone above her but she just said no.

This is not the first time I have had bad experience with Homechoice and now I remember why I actually wanted to close down my account.

What a waist - Homechoice has good products - but the service is the worst.

I need to change my cellphone number - can someone assist please!

Homechoice Payment arrangements non stop calling

I made arragements to reduce my payments due to a pesonal reasons. I spoke to a agent . As i fell nehinde Made new arrangements and changed the debit order so o can start paying again . Since that happend i get called none stop again. I work shifts an cant take calls . What must i do speak to every agend twice a day a make the same arangements 24 /7
Please let them stop calling

Homechoice Defy toploader washing machine

I bought the washing machine on the 23-03-2020 my monthly payment was R387 for 16 months period. Every month I'm paying nothing less then R400 . Homechoice are phoning everyday saying I'm behind with my payments which I don't understand. According to homechoice I should be paying for 24 months period which is not what we agreed on even my statement that came with the washing machine state that my overall amount due is R7535.03. You know you wrong but I'm the one who have use my airtime over and over again about the samething. For the last time do the right thing . This is the statement that came with the washing machine, stop telling me about your system.

Homechoice Worst service ever

Its been 2 years ive had the worst service ever but this time it takes the cake, . So i begged my husband to do one more transaction with them, even though we know about our passed horrible experiences, we still did it and regret it.

I placed an order and their system glitched, it took my money r3000 but no order was taken, never received an order nr nothing. Now everyone i contact at the centre has got some excuse. No manager gets back to me. They are extremely rude.
Such nice product but what a horrible company and the worst staff ever

Homechoice Bedding

I place a order in May online, homechoice did not contact me when the deliver the product, i put on my work address, they said the deliver after 17hoo i am closing at 17h00 i never receive anything from them now i see a have a statement for staff i never sign and the contact number they have is not mine. i try to lock in only again in May to see if i can trace the order they system was offline, when i do get in they did now my email or cellphone number i even try to change my password still i cant go in, ask them to call they never call so i asume i did not qualify for they product, So please help i cant pay for something i never receive or sign for,

One of the sales consultants called me in February telling me I qualify for 2 blankets and get 1 free I made an application and and it was approved, my order was supposed to arrive month end of February and start paying in March and I didn't receive my parcel... Later in May I got a call again they tried to sell me blankets and I told them I don't want anything from u guys coz since Ive been waiting for my blankets even now... Little did I know on the 4th of June they dectued R537 from my account and also on my credit status Home choice is reflecting😕😕😕😕I saw hate this company and pls remove my name from my credit status I don't have anything from you guys and stop calling me telling me when will I pay my outstanding balance plsss

Homechoice Wrong order and false advertisements

Blankets delivered are all 1ply not what I ordered nor advertise on tv. Please be careful on how you attract customers and dont give false advertisements. I'm so disappointed as I'm your 1st time buyer and was really looking forward since I needed them in this season.im very disappointed. Imagine waiting for what u most needed and u recieve such disappointment. If I knew that I'll get these blankets I should have went to China town and get exactly the same blanket for only R340, I have the same blanket with a different colour. It's even heavier than this. Please serve your customers right as they are your rise or fall step.
I'm really really disappointed with your service as a big company as you are.

Homechoice Volcano headphones

Good Afternoon,

In November 2020, I purchased a pair of Volcano Headphones. After 2 months, it did not want to charge anymore, so I booked a complaint, and the helped me. The people were very kind, and helpful. Siphelele Mlungwana ([protected]@homechoice.co.za) contacted me and arranged with Homechoice's courier and they cam and collected the earphones.

Now I get 3 calls a day, and 3 sms'e a day stating that homechoice is going to sue me for outstanding amount. When I enquired as to where my earphones are, no one has a clue.

What must I do? im not gonna pay for a product that is missing.

Homechoice Plum roman textured ankle boots

Bought pair of boots from homechoice in October 2020, Plum Roman Textured Ankle Boots size 5.

When i received them i fitted one shoe and thought they are both fine, i only realize now that the other one is size 3. I never wear them since it was summer, i tried to wear them today 02 June 2021, only to find out that the other one is small.
I contacted homechoice telephonically and they said that i was supposed to check them and returned them within 14 days and as a result they Cannot help me.

Homechoice Product not delivered and no refund received

Ordered winter bedding sheets, order number [protected]. Upon delivery, noticed that the double sheet winter set was not included: Fay Sheet Set, product code: 167663 (R 649).

I contacted Homechoice and completed the necessary form and emailed it to them in July 2020. Made follow ups and was told the process would take 90 days.

After 90 days, I called and emailed numerous times. Received contradicting updates from Consultants (case was resolved and requested refund to be paid into account towards cell phone I purchased from them and in another instance, been told case is not resolved). I continued to call and send emails, with no response from Homechoice. I tried calling their Frauds department as well (number provided by Consultant) and no one answers.
Please help because I don't know where to go for resolution?

Homechoice Bad service

I ordered bedding sets last year during lock down, and my order was never delivered, I called homechoice more than once complaining about about this issue since they are busy sending sms about me owing them and that I must pay even though I told them my order was never delivered till today, im concern about this cause they are messing up with my credit score, I can't pay for something I never received, for them them to say that they will now take a harsh measures while they are the once that on the wrong its unexceptable, I want this matter to be resolved cause it's as harassment to me for something that was never delivered and their carelessness.

Homechoice Fraud

Hi, I have a fraudulent account which was open under my name and homechoice has been harassing me about this account which I know nothing about Ref. number [protected]. They asked me to send my ID document and an affidavit from the police which I have done in December 2017 and again in March 2021 still nothing has been done.
Just by reading comments about this company (Homechoice), it seems like this opening of fraudulent accounts is a common theme. This is absolutely unacceptable c. Does this company even have ethics?!
