Home Depot service, no help loading almost injured

OnMarch 22nd at 11:39 a.m. I picked up an order from home Depot in Deptford New Jersey a bottom tool box it was on a cart cart said the box indicated it was 259 lb I told the clerk I needed assistance to have this put on a home Depot rental truck to take home she said to wheel it down the other end of the building at the rental department I will think about almost three-quarters of a block to the other end of the building I got there to rent a vehicle they told me now I have to push it back to the pro shop I got it to the pro shop contacted a Clark told him I needed assistance to get this box onto a home Depot rental truck 15 minutes later approximately 12 10 p.m. on March 22nd Young employee comes out and I asked him where's your other help he said I'm the only guy show him and I try to lift and push dish onto the back of the home Depot truck they they must have had this loaded onto the cart with a forklift it was a Hallow top cart it wasn't flat so when we pushed it and try to get it up onto the car half the box fell on me and my shoulder and then somehow we got it up and got it into the back of the truck but this is unsatisfactory you need more help out there you try to save a few bucks and you hurt your customers .

Home Depot military

I have shopped Home Depot for many years now and that has now ended. I used to, as a Military Member, get 10% off every purchase at Home Depot. Now your company only has 10% discount on certain items, and the discount is limited to 50.00 dollars. This is despicable. Due to this fact I will no longer be shopping at your stores. Lowes offers a 10% military discount on every single item in the store and does not limit it to 50 dollars. Lowes also verified my service, and I can apply my military discount online as well. Lowes is leaps and bounds above your store when it comes to taking care of the Military Personnel;. I will be spreading this news all over social media as well in an effort to get all my fellow veterans to switch from your store to only shopping at Lowes.

Home Depot service for skylight blinds

Hello,

Date of the incidence: March 19, 2019

We had home depot serivce engineer came to our residence and took measurement on March 05, 2019. We paid $100 for measurement on March 2, 2019.
We took the measurement paper and orderd Bally Skylight Blinds on March 8, 2019 and paid $215 including installation by homedepot. We specifically asked for 9 feet long pole for skylight blinds.
We received delivery of blinds on March 19, 2019, as instructed we were checking the delivery and notice the pole was not recieved. We called 973-335-5917 around 6:15pm, we were told by customer service to returned and reorder, then we were transferred to Blinds department, phone was not answered after holding 2.31 minutes.
We carried the blinds and went to store, we were told that someone will call tomorrow (3/20/19), person was not ready to resove the problem.

We would like to get this resolved ASAP. At this poing we are stuck with homedepot since we have paid $100 for measurement.

Home Depot online overnight orders

I placed an order on March 14th with overnight delivery. The order was split into 5 separate orders. The money was billed immediately however over 1/2 of the items were out of stock. The other items did not arrive on the 15th, 16th, 17th so I called. I was assured it was set to arrive by 5 pm. Only one item arrived and was dropped in our lobby without anyone knowing it. I called today the 19th and was told the item in the lobby was signed by me (and I never signed for anything). The WHOLE order had been marked delivered at that time. At this time, the only item received was a case of paper and no one knows where the rest of the items are. I was told I cannot cancel the order as it has been signed for! These items did NOT ship or deliver when they stated the would or did. Someone obviously saw my name on the window and forged my name which would be the carrier. Getting any satisfaction from the company itself is a joke. I own a tax office, time is of the essence for supplies. I will not use this company again.

Home Depot ex-coworker and current employee.

Sent my wife in my truck to pick up 3 sheets pf the cheapest plywood available. I told her its 13-14 dollars a sheet. She went to the store asked Casey a MOD/keyholder and seasoned employee what is the cheapest plywood and thinnest available. He told her the 17$ plywood and said that's all they carry. She also went to checkout and called for loading assistance, well this lumber /manager on duty made it a priority to go home and clock out instead of finish the in-store transaction and get her some help loading these three sheets of plywood he sold her. She proceeded to checkout and loaded them herself into ny lifted truck. I worked with Casey years ago and never thought he would not only lie to a customer but also leave her to load them alone possible either causing injury or worse. Several managers at that store should be under review especially in these instances where a potentially hazardous situation can happen resulting in injury. I happened to call on my lunch break and she was on her way home with the incorrect plywood that she had been lied to and had to load by herself.

The Manager on duty I called immediately was named Shawn/Sean ? He immediately fixed the situation helped her unload the incorrect plywood and refund her money and charge her for the correct three pieces and also loaded them into my truck bed for her. I appreciate his kindness and attentiveness to fix a potentially bad situation.

Home Depot customer service

On the evening of March 15, 2019, I walked into the Home Depot in Keller after seeing an oven online that I wanted to purchase. Home Depot's Website clearly states this particular "Floor Model" is available at the Keller Store for purchase. After waiting a good 5 minutes for an employee to notice me, I was told by that employee she didn't work in Appliances and would call someone, after another 5 minutes, another employee notices me and calls a manager. A woman who said she was the manager came and I told her of my wait, her response was "a lot of people have called in". What an unprofessional and inappropriate response to a customer. I then told her I wanted the floor model oven I was looking at and she told me it wasn't for purchase. I am extremely disappointed in this Home Depot's LACK of customer service and LACK of Professionalism. Furthermore, false advertising? I told her I would take my business elsewhere. Never shopping at Home Depot again and will tell everyone I know my personal experience. For such a long standing and once reputable company, Home Depot does no longer fits this category. Very disappointing.

Home Depot сredit services

Today I called Home Depot credit services to get a credit increase. I asked the first lady on the phone if I would be receiving a credit inquiry. She said she didn't know and told me that James from the Credit department would be letting me know. He went ahead and ran my credit! And did not even let me know! Then I talked to the supervisor (Daniel) and he through it in my face that in their agreement they can run credit for any reason any time. Previously I had called for a credit increase and they never ran my credit. So why would I expect to know this time? Completely ridiculous for supposedly a good company.

Home Depot rental items listed for sale but rental staff sale they rent not sale items

1. We have bought many rental items as home depot rotates their rental stock.
2. Checked the internet for stock in our area.
3. Went to the rental department and was told they didn't sale, they rent only
4. Asked when manager would arrive?
5. Two hours later manager arrived
6. Was talked down to, told they didn't sell any of the rental items for rotating stock, basically we were treated like we are stupid and liars.
7. These young men need to be reprimanded, if you decide to give them another chance they need education in customer service-rotating stock and definitely leadership, customer relations, the art of the deal. I really think that both of these guys are so far from becoming a great home depot representive that I would fire them and start with someone that is capable to preform their job descriptions.

Home Depot online order

Ordered a kerosene heater online and pickup at the local home depot (lancaster, pa).
2 hours later I went to the store to pickup the order. It was not ready. Waited 1 hour at the store after being told by customer service it was on the way. Asked for the store manager (Mike) and explained the situation. Was told that the item was put away in inventory and had to searched on 5 pallets to find the item. Finally, the store manager did get the item about 1/2 hour later. Help me load the items and he told me "these items are on me, free" Got a email later stating that I got a 20 percent credit and not what I was promised. Mt point is that if he would have just said ill give you a 20 percent I would have been ok with it.in other words, dont make promises you cant keep.

Home Depot delivery of appliance

Dear Home Depot Representative,

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with your service.

On February 8th, I ordered a washing machine via your website. According to your website, I would receive the appliance on Wednesday, February 13th. Though, I attempted to be proactive and update the contact phone number and set up text alerts the first attempted delivery failed.

I was provided a direct number to communicate with the delivery company. I called the number several times and no one answered the phone. Then I contacted Home Depot via chat; the method that usually gets a response. The date was set again for Tuesday, February 19th. I had someone present at the home at 9:00 am until the delivery was completed (took time off work) on that day. By noon of that same day, the delivery was already rescheduled until Saturday, February 23rd. I spoke to several associates of the delivery company. One gentleman I spoke to on the phone stated that he didn't know when he was at my home but he did take pictures in front of my door as proof the delivery was attempted. I am still waiting for a time stamped photo. The other associate was just as incompetent.

I feel like a mockery has been made of this entire situation. Today, the day of the third and last alleged attempt, I still did not receive my washing machine. On the other two delivery attempts, it appears I was first on the list and they arrived prior to 9 am to delivery the appliance. I was up and ready prior to 9 am and I waited and waited until the late evening. I contacted Home Depot first by phone; an automated voice with a delivery date and time was offered. So I contacted someone via chat, who assured me that someone was going to call soon and the delivery was simply delayed. Therefore, I kept my phone close and continued to wait. The Home Depot representative held out hope that someone was on the way. I informed the representative that no one was on the way in this hue of darkness. I offered a better solution of picking the appliance up from a local store. For some reason that solution is impossible.

I find it strange that none of the representatives I spoke to were competent enough to find a way to fix a delivery issue. Maybe my expectations for delivery are to high based on my dealings with Amazon.

To make matters worse, I have to continue to use public washing machines to wash my clothes. Further, I have wait for you to refund me my money.

I have always favored Home Depot over similar stores. I bought all my appliances from your store. I am very disappointed in the poor service.

Home Depot carpet installation

I purchased and had installed carpet June of 2016. The entire experience was bad. First they measured the house wrong, which caused the carpet I wanted to be ordered wrong. Then I was told i could wait two more weeks or pick carpet from what they had in stock, none of which was what I really wanted but I relented and picked one because I wanted the carpet installed before my furniture arrived, which did'nt happen anyway. Needless to say in less then 3 years the carpet is loosening on my stairs, which is a huge safety issue, and the seam, which was so thoughtfully put in by my front door is now visable.
I honestly do not think you care nor do i even expect a response let alone a resolution at this point but I think that your stores, sub contractors should be managed better. I no longer have my reciept, but I'm sure you keep files on hand.
The complaint is that thanks to poor management and contractors I have to find a way to replace carpet that is less then 3 years old.

Home Depot online shopping

Went on website and saw that if you ordered $45. It more that you could get free delivery to your home. So I placed an order and it totalled $60. I chose to have it sent to my home address so I would not have to drive the half hour plus each way. After completing the order I was sent a confirmation regarding my order. I saw that only 2 of my items are being sent to my home address and the other items were being delivered to the store I didn't want to drive to. I called to cancel the order two order twice and was told that the 2 items that were being shipped to my home could not be cancelled, some of the items that were being shipped to the store were cancelled, however a couple of store bound items could not. I would have to wait for them to be delivered to the store, call the store and cancel them and then wait for a refund. Last time I will ever purchase anything else from home depot.!. When I called about cancellation the call advised to hang on after speaking to a rep to take a survey. Both times I waited over 2 minutes and nothing. I guess they know if they don't disconnect the customers will eventually hang up and their crappy service won't be judged

Home Depot washing machine

friend of mine bot a brand new washer fron home depot payed cash got it home and hooked up and got two good washes out of it and now the only thing it does is sit waiting for the service man .the latest was leaking water every were he came replaced the defective part and left tried the machine it would not work called back the service man he came and said the computer was fried and would order a new one, still can not wash close after spending all the money for a new washer . this the last incident of many he is feed up and wants a new machine but home depot will not do that . can you give any suggestions

Home Depot custom closet consultation

I recently contacted Home Depot online to set up a consultation at my home with a custom closet designer. My husband and I are building a 3400+ sq ft home with a substantial master closet. Today (February 19, 2019) I received a call from Home Depot to set up a time to come to my house and look at the closet. The employee on the phone asked me a few questions and then asked me when I would like to schedule. She said that my husband would need to be at the appointment with me. I told her that he is not interested in the design of the closet, doesn't have time, and won't be there. She said he has to be there or at least be in the house. I told her that he won't be there. He works long hours as an attorney and is not interested in hearing about our closet and its design. So long as his clothes are in there, he doesn't care. She refused to give me an appointment. I'm at a loss to know what to think. I have managed the building of this house and pool from the very beginning. Why on earth your people can't meet with me about a closet is beyond my understanding. Not only that, it is insulting and absolutely ridiculous that Home Depot thinks my husband needs to give me his stamp of approval on a closet. I'm assuming that's the reason since I wasn't given one. There have been numerous deliveries to the house, I've met with reps from vendors about a fence, the pool, excavation, painting, tile, countertops, etc. and I've met with other consultants regarding the custom closet, all without my husband in the house.
Do single people build closets? What's your rule on who is at the appointment with them?
An explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Home Depot roof installation

In August 2018 Home Depot replaced my entire roof at a cost of $17, 000 CAD. During the past three to four weeks (Jan/Feb 2019) the roof began to leak and continues to do so. Home Depot claims the cause of the leak is ice damming and that their warranty does not cover this condition. This is news to me - we actually have ice and snow in the winter in Montreal and that it is OK for a new roof to leak as a result. If I had only known that before signing the Home Depot contract. I attach a photo taken today (Feb 15 2019) of the damage caused by this leak. Resolution of this complaint would involve Home Depot finding and fixing the cause of the leaking roof at their own expense. Thank-you

Home Depot washer delivery complaint rescheduled by driver

On July 17 I was expecting a delivery from Home depot that I had scheduled a week prior. I live and work in Dallas and this delivery was in Killeen Texas. On the date of delivery, I departed Dallas @ 1200 noon (it takes 2 hours to reach Killeen from Dallas, that would have put me at the residence at/about 2:00 p.m. - 2:30 @ the latest. At 11:53 I received a text from Chris with Appliance delivery who informed me that he was running ahead of schedule and that he could be there in the next 20 mins. I informed him that I was on the road and that I will be there at the scheduled delivery time between 3:00 - 5:00 pm. He apologized and informed me that he couldn't wait that long, but if I could have someone there at 1 he could install otherwise I would have to reschedule. I informed him when I arrived and he sent me a text where the delivery had been rescheduled. He informed me that the order was scheduled was scheduled between 1- 5 on his last text.

I went to Home Depot immediately to report this matter and they looked up on the information and called the delivery company, everyone had the same time for the delivery between 3-5, the driver changed the time because I wasn't there when he was running ahead of schedule. I had to take off from work in Dallas, not once, but twice due to the poor services or an impatient delivery crew hired by Home Depot. I lost time and money behind this issue. A very poor service. I am requesting that the manager from Home depot or the Corporate office to contact me regarding this matter. I will not allow it to go away without compensation for missed time and travel. I do have all of the text transmissions regarding each statement that has been made above between the driver and myself.

Home Depot employee/ cashier

I went to the home depot during my lunch break to purchase paver edging for a project I am doing at the house. I was looking at the proflex edging contractor pack. This pack come a in two packages a 6 piece by 6 feet package for about $42 dollars or an 8 piece by 6 feet package for about $49 dollars. I grabbed the 8 piece and some other small stuff and went to the cashier to check out. The cashier proceeded to use the scan gun to scan a piece of the paver edging 8 times at $7.97 each. I told her that I was purchasing the pack and she rep. Ied that they do not sell it by the pack. I explained that home depot did sell it by the pack and went back to the isle and took a picture of the only tag that was there which was for a 6 piece. I showed it to her and she entered it into her register and it came up as a 6 piece and told me that I had to take two out of my stack or go find a 6 piece. I tried to explain to her that there was a 8 piece but she insisted I was wrong. So I went back to the isle and found a 6 piece, looked again to see if I could find the tag for the 8 piece, with no luck, paid for my stuff and left.

Home Depot flooring

attempted to purchase new flooring at the home depot in Neptune NJ and used the home services for the install. Complete nightmare- Home Depot couldnt even get the materials delivered. WHen the flooring finally arrived 3 hours late on the second attempt the truck driver announced he wasnt allowed to bring the material in the house but could drop it in the driveway in the rain! I told them to go [censored] themselves and then it took another 3 motnhs to get the money back- worst consumer experience Ive ever had in my 48 years

Home Depot glass door

I went to Home Depot to order a glass replacement front door. I had pictures of the door and of the serial numbers. I got the original door from Home Depot. I put my trust in them ordering a new door they reassured me the door was the correct one. I waited 3 weeks. Got my notice the door was in. So I happily went and picked it up. When my husband went to install it, it was the wrong size. I called Home Depot they told me to bring it back. So I boxed it back up and lugged it back. All they said was oh we don't know what happened we will order you a different one. So now here I am waiting another 3 weeks because of Home Depot's mistake. Not to mention now I have to go back and be inconvenienced by getting another big box home. This not fair nor acceptable. I am greatly disappointed and inconvenienced because of Home Depot's mistake
