Home Depot led lightbulbs

The LED bulbs I paid so much for because they are supposed to last a long time was a HUGE Farce!I proved it (again) today when a.lamp that is hardly ever on just blinked a few times then just went dark! I could NOT believe it! I took the bulb out I tried it in another working lamp!Nothing! This is so disgusting! I have actually told the store customer service about the lying product details and returned a box of some other ‘newer" kind prior. I bought the older spiral kind thinking that those were better. I was wrong! STOP SELLING FAKE PRODUCTS to us hard working customers! It's a downright shame!

I've purchased 4 of the Commercial Electric item [protected], model [protected], 3'/ 42in shop lights. The two I installed in my garage have failed after one year. The other two I have not installed. I see a lot of comments about this under the reviews for the LED lights. Called home Depot and was able to get a gift card for $50.00 dollars to cover one of the lights. I was told the store manager can credit me for the remaining three LED lights. I will be perusing that option on my next visit.

Home Depot unethical behaviour

I have had an account with Home Depot for 20 years and never missed a payment. When I was checking out at a HD store one day, my charge card was not working in the reader so I had to use my bank debit card. The cashier asked if I would like her to order me a new card and I agreed. In a few weeks, I got the new card and starting using it. I use Bank of America online banking and continued paying my HD bills as they came in. In the meantime, I got an email from a government agency that I use to track my credit saying there was activity on my credit report. When I checked, I found a negative hit from all 3 credit bureaus saying I was several months late on my HD account. After several phone calls, I found out that the nice HD cashier did not just order me a replacement card, she actually opened a new account! The payments that I made for several months went towards the old card which I did not use anymore. When I talked to HD corporate, they admitted it was their mistake. I asked them to please ask the credit agencies to fix my credit and they said they couldn't do that but if I contacted the agencies, HD would work with them to get it cleared. Well I got a letter from HD in the mail a few days ago and here is what it says:
"Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding your Home Depot consumer credit card account. Unfortunately, we are unable to change the information reported to the credit reporting agencies listed below, as it accurately reflects your account history with us. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we are obligated to report account history based on factual account data. Standards established in the credit industry ensure integrity of data and uniform communication between credit reporting agencies."
I had a FICO score well over 800 and I dropped 94 points because of Home Depot's screw up. I closed my HD account forever and will be using my Lowe's card and doing all my shopping there from now on! Thanks a lot Home Depot!

Home Depot not accepting nys drivers license veterans id

I recently shopped at the Monticello, NY location and at the check out counter, I produced my NY State Drivers license that was clearly marked Veteran. The chashier stated that the ID was not excepted proof of veteran status and proceded to produce a binder with "approved" Veteran ID's. I was very disapointed and upset that Home Depot does not except the NYS Veteran's License. Before obtaining Veteran status on the License you have to provide proof of service by producing a DDform 214.
The goverment stopped issuing Veteran ID's to Veterans who do not need medical services. Therefore I am unable to obtain their ID.
Maybe Home Depot should concider adopting the Lowes policy on identifing their Veteran customers. In the past they always excepted my NYS Veterans license as proof of service and now I was able to register my Veterans status with them on line. I did have to provided the store with a copy of my DDform 214 to complete the process, but now at checkout I give them my phone # and my Veterans status is confirmed.

Home Depot beware! misleading reviews on the home depot website.

Please don't trust Home Depot reviews, they censor it.
Recently I reviewed online item and my honest review was submitted to their website. They refused to publish it and my one star review was removed:

Home Depot home depot stole money from rebate debit card without consent

Instead of a rebate, Home Depot sent me a debit card that was only usable at Home Depot. After extensive phone calls, they refused to provide the PIN Number, which meant I couldn't even use the card! To make matters worse, the customer service rep stole money from my card for some membership. When I clearly said no to this so-called membership, they charged it on my card anyways! I am livid at Home Depot's lack of professionalism by swindling customers out of their hard-earned money.

Home Depot stove/range no delivery

I ordered a Gas Stove/Range on July 13, 2019. I was asked if the delivery date of July 27th would be good for me. I agreed to that date. TODAY, July 26th, I had a message left on my phone with a low volume voice where you could barely hear the person (female) saying nonchalant "Your delivery scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled." She went on saying (from what I could make out) that my appliance was on backorder for a month. Now, no one from HD considered that I sold my old stove and have to eat for another month WITHOUT A STOVE. Someone should have been aware of this before today. I am so disappointed in your way of business. I know you don't care that you have inconvenienced me and my family and now I have to pay to eat out until God knows when. I called the 7704338211 number and the young lady was very helpful as in her doing her job, but nothing she did could get me a stove or a price match. Shame on you Home Depot and the powers that be...God is watching you.

Home Depot floor installation

If you are planning to do any kind of home renovation especially floor installation, do not use Home Depot service. Their whole process is screwed up and I will guarantee you that they will mess up your project.

When you go to Home Depot, all they're doing is scheduling the measurement and scheduling the installation of the flooring. There is no process where someone from Home Depot or installer will eyeball the project and ask questions or options you wanted to include. So if the measurement is screwed up, whole project from scheduling of the installer, ordering the parts/accessories needed for the project is also screwed up.

I totally agree with your comment. Alas, I did not see your review before I purchased flooring and installation from The Home Depot. My experience has been very negative and very stressful. I currently have a complaint filed with the BBB regarding this matter. Thanks for the alert so that others may be spared. The lesson I learned from The Home Depot...go somewhere else.

Home Depot carpet installation

My carpet was to be installed and i took a vacation day to be present for installers. Took apart master bedroom bed and prepared closet. Call at 6pm the night before that install was cancelled. I complained to Home Depot manager Nina. I complained to General manager Shannon Horn of US instalation and her supetvisor David Dryer. Got nowhere. Now i have to wait till Saturday for install. Lost a 400 dollar vacation day for nothing and Home Depot doesn't care.

Home Depot stair nose

On May 29, 2019 I ordered stair noses to match the floor I purchased at home depot. It has been 2 months now and I did not received the product. I was told that I could cancel and request a refund, however I have a whole new floor installed in the house and no finishing can be done as I don't have the finishings. I don't want to change to a different product. Will Home Depot pay my contractor to remove all the floor and for the floor installed, refund me for all my floor so I can purchase new floor and new finishing that match the floor?

Home Depot delivery of dishwasher and gas range

We had purchased online from Home Depot, Miltown, NJ specific store website and made total payment instantly on the same day with confirmed specific delivery date of July 20, 2019. We had also made a clear note on the web page in the instruction section of the order saying the delivery and installation are to be completed on the same day/date. Barely 36 hours prior delivery date we got a recorded call saying the deliver was re-scheduled for July 25. When we tried complaint and made numerous call we were given run around. When we first complaint with a call we had said we are senior citizens in 70s and are very disturb with such short notice of cancelation and someone from higher level should call or e-mail us. That did not happen. When we tried to call and reach the store we were told they do not have a record and we should call the customer service online purchase number. We called again and were told that the store should be contacted so we told the customer service person to contact the store and have a much higher level person call us. Instead an average employee called us and were given excuse that the items were on back order. So we asked how come a back-order would have a confirmed delivery and installation date with payment made for the entire total as we have it with confirmed document. So other person just abruptly came on the line and started talking in rough manner and dicating tone. We asked where is the higher level person we need to talk to, so the person was coming across in totally unacceptable manner and told him not to behave in a manner and that his superior must call. When we tried to call the manager the other day, someone else picked up the phone (apparently was the same person who was rough with us) and was reluctant to pass it on to Danny the manager. We said we are returning his call at the number and extension he had left on our answering machine. He still would not transfer us. WE ARE DELIBERATELY ARE GIVEN RUN AROUND IN BIASED MANNER AND WANT THE HIGHEST OFFICE AT HOME DEPOT (AT CEO LEVEL) TO ANSWER US AS TO WHY WE SHOULD GO THROUGH RUN AROUND AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR ALONG WITH NOT KEEPING THE CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION OF HOME DEPOT RELATED TO OUR PURCHASES. WE MAY ASK FOR FULL REUND.

Home Depot flooring and window covering

1. Store is ridiculous sand poorly managed.
2. I ordered carpet and window custom blinds at the Golden Home Depot Store in
July, 2019.
3. I attempted to pay over the phone with "Luke", in the above dept. at the store.
4. He couldn't give me the correct amount which included minus $100. credit that I
rec'd from Liz at the Pro Desk.
5. Luke asked me to send him a text with the bar code that was associated with the
credit.
6. After waiting 20 minutes after the text was sent, I rec'd no call from Luke.
7. I called the store only to find that Luke had gone home. I find out later that the
store told him to go home because he had worked more than his scheduled hours.
Remember I got no return call after sending him the bar code.
8. I then visited the store and talked to Karen Damhoff. I spent over one hour with
her trying to pay. Finally I said just forget it. Lets move on to the blinds. She was
clueless about the color of the blinds even though I gave her a piece of the
valence.
9. Karen told me that they were short of help in her dept. but mgmt didn't like
employees to work extra hours. I think and they send Luke home because he had
worked more than his scheduled hours?
9. Karen gave me a large book and told me to match the color the to valence color.
10. I leave store frustrated about the lack of service, inability to pay the correct
amount, and amount of time spent with store in trying to pay and order.
10. I called Golden Store and spoke to a store manager named Jaret. He had a totally
lackadaisical attitude about my problem with no comments or solutions.
11. I went to the Arvada Home Depot Store (1502): problems were resolved quickly.

Home Depot patio tables

I am writing because I need help in resolving problems, I am experiencing with an online purchase of Wilshire Estates patio furniture.
On June 8th I placed an online order (WA65941415) a total of 6 swivel rockers, 2 dining chairs and 2 42" square dining tables. The total cost was $2, 862.93. I received all on the promise date. The problem I had was both dining tables had damaged corners. I called your reps and they issued an order to return them (R1654034) and another order (CD71216223) for 2 replacement tables.
When I received the tables ordered on CD71216223, both tables had damage. On one of the tables the damage wasn't really bad so I again call your reps and had issue a return order ([protected]) for one table. They then issued another order (CD71679352).
When I received the table ordered on CD71679352, it also had damage on the corners. I again called your rep and told them about the problems I was having. At this point, they referred me to a Resolution Expediter, D'Shayla T. at 1-800-910-6704. On 6/21/19 I received an email from the expediter asking me to send pictures of the tables with the damage. I ended up calling her after I emailed the pictures and explained my situation to her and what she decided to do was replace the table under a warranty claim. I told her that at first, I was willing to accept the one table I was willing to accept but I was changing my mind because I felt that $600.00 tables should not have any damage. She said that she would get back to me with a status no later than 6/25/19. She agreed and said that she would order 2 warranty replacement tables from the company that supplies them. She told me that the it would table 3-4 weeks for the tables to arrive. The Case number is 15474050.
I should mention somewhere along the line, a return order ([protected]) was issued. I believe this was associated withCD71679352.
On Friday, 7/19/19, 1 table was delivered. I told the driver that I was expecting 2. He told me he only had one. I told him that I would call Home Depot to sort this out. Before he left, we inspected the table and found no damage. The problem with this table is it came with no legs. The hardware for attaching the legs was there but there were no legs!
I made calls to home depot late Friday and at this point someone is supposed to call me on Monday. I also sent an Email and left a voicemail with D'Shayla.
Needless to say, I am very frustrated with the entire process. We are talking almost a month and a half and I still don't have everything I ordered. I've spent a lot of my time calling your reps, unpacking and packing damaged tables and waiting delivery drivers. As a customer and a former employee of Home Depot, I shouldn't have to work this hard to spend my money.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention that ALL of your reps have been very professional and responsive to my troubles. But…. I still don't have what I paid for!
I am hoping you can help resolve this issue because if I can't get the tables, I'll have to consider returning the ten chairs we purchased. (Two Chairs were purchased on WA65732581 because there were no store samples to sit on.

Home Depot possible home depot consumer card and citi wrongful charges

I was notified in October 2018 by Citi that I owed a minimum payment of $25 for a $68 charged against a HD Consumer card that was made in June 2018. I don't have that card anymore and haven't used it in 10+ years. (As of 2013 I aquired a HD Commercial card that I do use and it has a negative balance.) For the months of July through October I never received a statement. When I was notified in October, I made a call to find out what the $25 payment was for against a card I no longer have. I was told a purchase of $68 was made for paint. In Nov I went to HD and made a payment of $68 to avoid a Credit report charge off. But even though I paid off the balance in Nov, they (I assume HD) have been charging late fees and interest until they turned it over to Citi and that's when the charge off of $325 hit my credit report. Twice I've faxed in to Citi's Dispute dept all possible documents showing payments, etc and explained why I thought the charge off should never have happened. I've received two letters from an obvious non existent Vice President asking for more information. I've complied twice and also called the phone number as indicated in the letter only to get a call center in India. This has gone on for months with no resolution and no actually human conversation. My credit has been tarnished for a $68 possible wrongful charge that I paid but HD/Citi charged off. I'm a senior citizen and I've have great credit up until now. I wanted to refi my mortgage to update and improve my house but now can not because of this charge off.

Home Depot not able to have installation of carpeting and wood planking

On July 1st we purchased and paid for appox. 150 sq/yd of carpet and a small 90 sq/ft area of planking. After paying for this we were told to stop by the store on 7-15 to pickup the planking so it could acclimatize to the temp. in our home. We stopped on the 15th and were told that the planking had not been shipped as the supplier did not have a piece of reducing trim. The store agent told us that the carpet was on hand and they were waiting to ship the planking until they received the trim. We were told they would check a few stores to see if any had this trim. He told us he would call us back. No call. We stopped by again twice last week and were told that they could not tell if things had been shipped yet and when the store agent who sold us the items showed up they would have him call us Saturday 7-20, again there was no call. Each round trip to store runs up appox. 35 miles and we are out the fuel costs to get an answer which we have not received yet. If the trim cannot be found, let us know we will switch to something you have on hand. Has Home Depot decided they just needed our money and we are hung out to dry. This is the worse service I have had from any home store in years. Please find out what is taking place so we can decide if we need an Attorney to regain our money or if Home Depot will come thru with their goods. We would like to know, a install date if they decide they are installing things so we can plan our vacation. The order number is H [protected], we paid with a check which has been cashed by Home Depot, and the purchase was made on July 1st at the Topeka, Kansas store. The store agent is MDC 1997. I have always had good experiences at Home Depot until this time. In fact we have ordered in a Refrigerator, Shop Vac., Washer/Dryer Combo unit and several smaller items online or at this store in the last two years. Unless this incident gets solved, this will end my business with you and I will do my best to convince other people to trade elsewhere also.
