Absolutely terrible customer service. Corporate and the managers of this location do not think the customer is right at all. I was trying to find some items so my mother asked an employee where they were. The employee proceeded to show my mom down the fall aisle where it was located & it was 50% off. I grabbed all they had on the shelf (4 for like 3.99 or 4.99 each) and proceeded to the checkout. After getting to the checkout, it was the same nice lady that showed my mother where the items were. She then realized (as we already decided to purchase them) that they were a floral item so they wouldn't be included in the 50% off. We requested a manager so we could get the 50% as it was on the shelf as that price. The asst. manager came over & said she couldn't override the price for 50% because it didn't belong where we found it. Now how is that my fault? That would be your failure hobby lobby for not having your product in the right spot and I as a customer shouldn't suffer from your carelessness. So after the asst. manager told us no, we asked to talk to the first manager of the store. He did not come up front to talk to us face-to-face she called him and he had also said no for the price override. We left the store and after called corporate in hopes they would make it right for us because that's what they're here for, right? Wrong. They did absolutely nothing. No apology or anything. They took their managers side & said it is their call if they wanted to override it. How wrong is that? Every other business I've been to if it's their fault having the product in the wrong spot they would compensate by giving the price as advertised. Not at hobby lobby. Customer is treated with no respect at all. Don't bother calling corporate either because they believe their business is running perfectly with no appology to the customer.

Some of these companies truly take their customers for granted and forget they're the reason for them still being around. You figure with the retail apocalypse going on more companies would understand the value in customer satisfaction and what that means for repeat business. Are they really so stupid to throw away any future business from you and your mother over this? Now they've lost that business, any referrals, and have a written complaint online for the world to see. It's the small things that matter and I'm sorry this was your experience. Hopefully this use this as a learning experience and see why the old saying "The customer is always right" even exists to begin with. Again, there's no shortage of retailers failing to meet / exceed same store sales each year. As aforementioned, the retail apocalypse is no joke and there's a plethora of options to procure just about any item these days thanks to the internet. Good on your for voicing this and always remember to vote with your wallet!

Okay I admit that I moved the item to the 50 percent off the day before. Then I came back a few hours after and claimed that I found the item there. But they still should have honored the price. They should be working. If the customer placed the item in the wrong place it should not take over a day for them to place it back. Therefore since they did not do their job and place the item back where it should be I should get the discount. Yeah i did move the items in the 50 percent aisle. I wanted the decorations for 50 percent off. I do not think I should pay full price. They did not give the discount to me. My mother and I started arguing. I threatened to slap her in front of everyone. The point is even though I put the item there, they should give me the 50 percent discount. THey had over a day to fix it. I work in retail and we would do the same.

This isn't me😂😂😂 this is funny. People have nothing better to do with their lives besides make fake accounts of me. That would be called fraud.

The truth is that there are those customers who will move inventory to suit their own needs. That being the case, there is no law or ethical reason the store should be required to sell the product because of where it is placed in regards to a sign.

You are correct. The only thing that annoyed me was that I work in retail & if we know it was an honest mistake of the item being out of place we will override that price. That's the big thing that annoyed me. I've just never been to a business where that is their way of handling the situation. Thanks for your comment.
