Hanover Counseling AssociatesUnethical behavior by a lcsw

E Review updated:

I had an appointment for therapy on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 with Charnessa "Charlie" Pleasant. Today, March 22, 2017, I woke up to multiple, hostile text messages and emails stating that she has cancelled my appointment and if I come to the office, she will call the local authorities. I tried to contact Charnessa to determine what was going on and she continuously sent my calls to voicemail then threatened harassment. Mrs. Pleasant's behavior was disgusting and unprofessional. She did offer to refer me to another therapist. I was treated as a criminal and this is behavior unbecoming a licensed professional.

I am trying to get assistance as well as let others know of the unprofessional demeanor of this therapist.

I also had a similar problem in 2018 in whoch this therapist was very unprofessional. I just saw she added to directory and Please avoid her and find another black therapist unless you want to be mocked and ridiculed during your appointment
