Hank's Fine Furniture customer service

This evening, 2/5/2020, my husband and I went to Hank's Fine Furniture in Panama City, FL. I thought it was odd that no one greeted us as we walked in the door. We have been there many times and have always been greeted by a sales associate at some point during our visit. It was approximately 6pm and the store was not busy. We did not see any other customers as we walked through the store, we never saw anyone not even a staff member.
We located the piece of furniture we were interested in, a greenish blue credenza style cabinet. Surfside Accent Cabinet by Jofran 70 x 15 x 42 Product Number [protected]. There were two price tags on the cabinet, one attached to the outside of the glass, the other standing up inside the cabinet. Both price tags were marked with the model name Surfside with different sizes available and prices for each size. The size we wanted to purchase was the 70 x 15 x 42. The price tag attached to the outside of the glass for the size we needed was marked 699 reduced to 599. The price tag standing up inside the cabinet for the size we needed was marked 599 reduced to 499.
We walked around the store to find a sales member to help us with the price. We finally saw three staff members sitting behind a counter, two younger men and one older man. We walked directly in front of the counter and none of the associates spoke to us, they didn't even look up. Finally, I asked if someone could help us. One of the younger associates looked up and asked who was helping us. I told him no one was. He looked at other the two associates and the old man that was sitting next to him sighed and got up. We showed him the piece we wanted to purchase and ask for him to clarify the price.
He abruptly opened the glass door of the cabinet and jerked the price tag out of the inside and held it to his chest where we could not see it. He told us the price tag was the wrong one. My husband asked for clarification because the tags had the same model name and size - just different prices. The man very sternly said he had no idea where the price tag on the inside of the cabinet came from and that it was the wrong one. He rudely stated someone must have put it in there (he emphasized the word someone). I am not sure if he was suggesting we put it there but it seems like he did - which was impossible for us to have placed that price tag there. I asked to see the price tag that he was holding to his chest and if he would honor the price. He walked away from us not allowing us to see the sales tag he was holding and said he didn't know if they could honor the price or not as he was walking away. He quickly re-treated and walked back to the counter. My husband and I just looked at each other shocked at the way we had been treated. We left the store. None of the other associates nor the rude man did not say anything to us as we left.
This is the first time we have ever been treated this way and we have shopped at Hank's many times. We are unsure why were talked down to, the only reason we could think of is due to the way we were dressed. I had sweatpants and a sweat jacket on and my husband was dressed in shorts and a worn-out shirt that he had worn to work that day. Our appearance wasn't the best but was not inappropriate and was no reason to be treated the way we were. Unfortunately, I did not catch any of the names. I would like to be contacted about this horrible experience.

Hank's Fine Furniture customer service

I am having a major issue with my local store in Rogers, Ar. We ordered a children's bedroom suite and upon delivery one of the pieces was damaged and wouldn't accept delivery. After further inspection we decided despite the damage the piece wasn't the quality we anticipated based on the salesman description. The local store instructed the delivery crew to put it back on the truck and they would leave our ticket "open" and the chest price would be store credit. I asked if I could just get my money back and I was told no. I have visited the store from time-to-time to try and use the credit, but nothing you have is needed. I went in the store again over new years and asked for a printout of my account to see how much the credit was for and they "closed" my ticket. This resulted in the chest showing it was delivered to my house and the credit was gone. The manager assured me he would contact someone and get back with me in a day. Almost 3 weeks later I still haven't heard back so I called and the lady remembered my situation and said the manager was out, but would call the next day. Now, it's been 5 days and no communication. Can you please help me? My contact information is below my email signature.

Hank's Fine Furniture sofa

I purchased a sofa in November 2017. I replaced the fabric cushion covers in the summer of 2019 and was told my actual cushions needed replaced. The cover split at the zipper and no one will make it right nor have they replaced the cushions which have a 7 year warranty. Not sure how to spell her name but the manager in Conway, Niki has done nothing but lie about taking care of this. She said she'd get back with me on a Thursday and that has been three weeks ago. Called yesterday but she was busy and never called back. I'm going to write a letter to the manufacturer and maybe they'll make it right or pull the line from Hanks.

Hank's Fine Furniture two italian leather sofas

We have purchased several pieces of furniture from this store. In 2016 I purchases a "leather" sofa sleeper and two recliners. I was told they were Italian leather and thy they would never peel. I specifically asked that question. We even bought the warranty. Of course it does not cover that. We called once and they were suppose to send me the warranty information. My husband called again to speak with someone and they never called back. So we stopped by the store. The manager was given the paperwork and said to the lady working their what am I suppose to do about this. He was rude and not helpful at all. And of course the gentleman who sold us the furniture no longer works there. Now I have two recliners that look horrible and are hardly two years old. We were given false information. You should be ashamed of your staff and the way we were treated. I can promise you I will make sure that I will not recommend anyone to buy anything at your store. I would like a phone call to see if their can be any compensation for this situation. We don't have money to spend on such a product. I feel stupid that I did not ask more questions. But I trusted your now your salesman to not lead us wrong.
Thank you

Hank's Fine Furniture sofa and staff

Bought a sofa a one time good deal. Came to pick it up and Jason Campbell had sold someone else a one time good deal. Then he stated he would refund my money. He had sold my sofa to that someone else for more money. So I wanted them to order or find in one of the Hanks stores my sofa, I had painted the living room for the sofa. I had paid for the sofa. Then the store manager Jason Campbell, said I was lying. When my husband arrived, he said that was misunderstanding. WARNING DO NOT GO TO HANKS FINE THIEVES!

Hank's Fine Furniture product complaint - poor customer service

My wife and I purchased several "leather" living room pieces from them about 3 years ago. No one mentioned that it wasn't real leather, but they did aggressively push their insurance program, because "you know, stuff happens to leather". Well, as predicted, "stuff does happen". It starts coming apart - peeling. They clearly know this is an issue since it is specifically listed in their insurance policy as not being covered.
Of course, when they sell you the insurance they tell you "it covers everything!".
My bigger issue at this point is that you can not get anyone at Hank's to call you. I have reached out to them via their website on multiple occasions with no response. I filed a complaint with BBB, and they didn't respond to them either. It is hard to believe that a large company doesn't have someone responsible to address contacts to their website. Really disappointed in " Hank's FINE Furniture "

Hank's Fine Furniture bad customer service

I bought a couch at Hank's in Springfield, MO, and was told it would be available for me to pick up the following week. On the day I was to pick it up, I got a call from the salesman telling me it would be another 3-4 weeks. When I told him that was unacceptable, he said he'd "see what he could do."

When I hadn't heard from him for 4 days, I went to the store. The manager was "out" so I dealt with the assistant manager. He told me it wasn't their fault, it was the manufacturer. When I asked about a refund, he told me there would be a 25% restocking fee. How on earth could they charge a restocking fee for something which was never in stock? When I made it clear I would not be paying a dime, and I would get a full refund, he became condescending and rude. He finally offered me the floor model. I inspected it, and found it to be in excellent condition. I finally have a couch!

I did some quick internet research and found at least three other Hank's customers who went through the same ripoff - paying for
furniture, only to find out it would be delayed weeks or months, then being charged hundreds of dollars in "restocking fees."

I am a very calm person and have 27 years of experience working with difficult and volatile people. It's not easy to get me riled. My
experience with Hank's managed to do just that. I won't forget it.

There are a dozen reputable furniture stores in Springfield. I will never step foot in Hank's Fine Furniture again.

Hank's Fine Furniture my &real& leather recliner peeled in 6 months

I purchased a rustic red "leather" couch and two recliners from Home Place Furniture in Pensacola in 2009. I paid for the care products and for the full 5 year warranty. I got the whole sales pitch about how the leather was dyed all the way through the full fabric so if there was a scratch, it would not show up white, etc. Well, in less than 6 months, the so-called leather had peeled off both my recliners and I started the dispute process with Hank's Fine Furniture, which is their Home Office. Got nothing. Submitted photos and complaints but they just refuse to call me back.

Hank's Fine Furniture idiots in this company

Lets start by talking about this show room, shady characters work here! Its not super clean but not terrible either, but I wouldn’t want my business looking like that! And lets just say they will promise the world when they can’t deliver a pen to sign your check!

First I decided to order from these shady people because I was going through a rough spot in my life and needed some furniture for my parents to use while in town. Once the furniture was ordered it wasn’t in stock. I ended up waiting 4 months before I got tired and cancelled my order!

Hank then wanted me to pay a restocking fee! How would they have to restock it if it was never stocked in the first place! What a joke these people are running! These people are nuts!

I did end up receiving part of my order and when it was delivered it was BROKEN! Thanks Hank! Thankfully it was under warranty, yeah in July. Its now October and I still have yet to talk to someone about fixing it. The BBB is now in the mix as well.

On top of all this non sense the manager of Hanks ain’t so fine! He will not return my calls and will not answer my questions. He just gave me the Direct Customer Service phone number. This crook gave me a disconnected number! I will never work with Hank’s Fine Furniture. Its a big SCAM.

On December 10, 2013 I visited the Hank's store on Bowman Road in Little Rock. Two salesmen were on duty. One of them had a customer. No one else was in the store. I walked around and spotted some furniture in which I was interested. The two salesmen were sitting at the front of the store with their attention focused on their Iphones. I walked passed them three times . Neither one ever looked up to even acknowledge me. I was totally ignored. I left the store. On December 12, I called a "home office" number to relay my experience. I got a voice mail "customer service" machine which ask me to leave a name and number so they could return the call. Four days later there is still no call. Some customer service! Now I am glad to read of other's experience with Hank's and am glad I did not attempt to make a purchase None of those stores will ever hear my footsteps again. The only advertising I will give "Hank's Fine Furniture" is DO NOT GO THERE unless of course you like to be ignored.

On April 8, 2011 I purchased two lamps from Hanks in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The salesman that assisted me was Steve. I asked Steve if I might receive a refund had the lamps not worked for me. Steve told me in the presence of his co-workers as I was paying that I would receive a full refund if lamps were returned in 7 days. On April 9, 2011 I returned the lamps in the same condition they were when I purchased them on April 8, 2011. Steve waited on me once again, he yelled to a young lady and asked her to give me my refund. As the young lady was pulling up my invoice she asked Steve for help because I had paid in cash and the other half with a check. Steve stated we must get the manager (Randy). Randy came over and immediately became offensive stating that I would not get a refund until the corporate office issued me a check. He stated that it was due to the fact of how I paid for the items. I asked him why I was told that I would receive a refund as soon as items were returned...mind you Steve was standing there and he said I told you it might take some time...Randy who already appear to be angry most of the time said we don't have to give you anything and he said a few more smart words and I of course lit his pilot about my refund. I left the store with my lamps and the only person who appeared to be concerned about me was "Rick". He helped me by carrying the 300 dollar lamps to my car. Randy refused to give me the corporate office number, although I insisted on not leaving until he gave it to me. He scribbled it so that it was difficult to read, but I googled it anyway. I asked Randy if he knew who he was dealing with and he said yes I do and told me he would always have a job at Hanks and that he did not care what my concerns were. I made contact with Hilda at the Corporate Office and told her my experience and she stated she would have someone call me later. I had just purchased an item from this store a few weeks ago and was satisfied with the item...I had always purchased from Hanks, but always noticed that Randy seem to have a nasty attitude towards me, maybe it is because of my race.

Hank's Fine Furniture 25% restock fee

I was in the Hanks store in Fayetteville when I found 2 chairs that I purchased. The chairs were not in stock at that location and I was told they would be available in approx a week. I went ahead and paid for the chairs in full.

I left Hanks and went to another store that afternoon and found some chairs that I liked even better and that were in stock. I called Hanks immediatly (approx 1 hour later) and canceled the order. I was told that I would have to pay a 25% restock fee on the chairs.

These chairs never left the building or were even touched by a worker in that amount of time. There is absolutely no reason that I should ever have to pay a restock fee. After complaining to the manager I was told that they would waive the restock fee if I purchased something else from their store. What a rackett! I will never shop there again.

Hank's Fine Furniture rude and disgusting

We spent well over $4, 000 in the store located on Central in Hot Springs, Arkansas. When the furniture was delivered on Oct. 23rd, we received the wrong side buffet table. When I called the store, they said there was a mix up on skew numbers but would order the one we paid for and get it out to us right away. Sara, called and said it was in and that Bob would be delivering it. I asked her if it was the floor model and could not get a response. She just kept saying that Bob would take care of it. When Sara called and said Bob would be there in 30 minutes, I told her to tell Bob not to bring out the floor model, as I had already seen the shape it was in at the store. Again she would not respond. I asked her twice more, point blank, "Is it the floor model?" Again I could not get her to answer a simple yes or no. When Bob arrived he had the glass buffet table in the back of his truck, only covered with a blanket. It was him and his wife that delivered it. Very Unprofessional! I asked him point blank if this was the floor model and he would not answer me. As he took the other one to his truck, I noticed the chunk out of the back leg, drawers messed up and scratches on the sides. Bob took off after loading the other table. I called Sara and explained to her that I was deceived and did they think we were stupid. She said I would have to talk to Bob, which he would not be in until the next day. I told her that she was unprofessional by evading and essentially tell us a bald face lie. She hung up on me. My sisters, mother-in-law went to the store that eveing and talked to Jesse the store Manager. The discussion got real heated when he said that they no longer make that model and haven't for a while. It is a real shame that the store tried to push off a damaged piece of furniture that full price was paid for. My sister did get loud with Jesse and he got in her face and yelled at her. He then tried to throw her out of the store. She also paid for the furniture. He told her that he was a military man as a threat and that was soooo unprofessional of him. He said we can not go any higher with our complaint because he is store manager and there is no one above him.
I have never in all my years seen such rudeness and disrespect from a furniture store. After spending over $4, 000 in your store and to be treated like that is disgusting.
They were rude, lied, and was disrespectful.

Hank's Fine Furniture furniture amount due

I bought a couch from hanks fine Furniture in harrison, AR. a few weeks ago. My husband and I did the 9-day layaway plan. We payed 300 down. The next week I went in and paid the other 300. My salesperson said that they had new computer software in and that it wasn't going in the system that I had paid the total amount due so he scratched out the number on my receipt and wrote 0.00 to show that I had paid for it. Well, when my couch came in, the computer still hadn't shown that I had paid for it, but I showed him my receipt and he remembered. So he loaded up my couch for me. (NOTE that they will not load your couch unless it has beem completely paid for with the lawaway plan) Well, its been about 3 weeks Since I recieved my couch and I got a call today form hanks fine furniture. The man on the phone proceeded to tell me that I owed them 300. I kindly told him that I had paid that amount and that my salesperson had to handwrite me a receipt because When i came in the software was messed up. He said, "well, in my computer it has you as oweing 300 and home office tacks all of that and they don't mess something like that up and they don't have their money for that sofa and that I needed to pay for it." I asked him if I could talk to the person that Sold me the couch and he said that he didnt work there anymore. So I asked him for home offices number and told him I would contact them. In a very rude way, he said, "well that would be perrrrfect" So I told my mom about the incident and she decided to give hanks a little call. She let him have it. She then told him that she could fax him the receipt which, indeed had his name on it as well as my salespersons name. He then told her he would try to figure things out. IT is pretty dang sad that even if you have a receipt of sales, that it doesn't seem to matter anymore. It apparently has no worth and is no form of proof anymore. And the way this idiot called me and ACCUSED me of taking a couch without paying for it just bewilders me! Especially because of the fact that THEY load you up, THEY check before they load you up to make sure you have paid. I will NEVER be going there again. And if they have an employee STEALING their money they need to get their ### straight and find the person instead of Accusing customers of not paying.

Hmm, odd. The man whom I talked to on the phone had his name on my receipt as well. He was THERE that day I paid. They had a whole stack of people who had paid their amounts and it wasn't putting showing it on the computer and they had to scratch out amounts and rewrite amounts. I asked the man if he wanted the receipt faxed to him and he did not.He did not even want the proof. If he hadn't of handled it rudely and told me that HOME OFFICE DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES, i wouldn't of gotten rude back. PEOPLE make mistakes. PEOPLE run home office. I had every right to rudeness. I shall return rudness with rudeness. And sue me? ha, right. They are NOT allowed to even load furniture unless paid for. They load the furniture after they see your receipt and make sure you have fully paid.Their story would not of added up.

Hank's Fine Furniture bad furniture remedy

Join me in calling the Arkansas Attorney General's office [protected] They will connect you to the consumer protection agency. You will receive in the mail a complaint form fill it out with every thing you have from hanks furniture. I have in writing that they would send someone to fix my furniture and never did. I have been trying to figure out how or whom to contact when I read 1 complaint and the man said he had a recording and was going to bring to the attention of the Attorney General. The state will send an inspector to perform audits on their paperwork I know I am an inspector myself and I perform audits on a daily basis. I can not do this alone join me in bringing down this fraudulent company all it takes is a phone call and filling out a complaint form. LETS SCREW HANKS FINE FURNITURE AS THEY HAVE DONE TO SO MANY PEOPLE.

Hank's Fine Furniture bad products

My wife and I bought a couch with bed, Loveseat with recliners, kitchen Table with chairs, and an ottomon. We did not have the entire ensamble for more than 4 months when the couch bed would not open found out there was a board that broke. Also my wife inadvertently had 2 burn spots from the fireplace the furniture had burn proof chemicals applied at additional cost. We bought the furniture in joplin MO. When we explained what happened to the manager he informed us that the cusions would be replaced and the couch would be repaired we waited 4 weeks and no repair man had showed up we called once a month for 3 months and still no repairman or new cushions. We were informed upon visiting the store that the manager who sold us the furniture had been fired and the Joplin Mo store was being closed and relocated to the main store in Little Rock Arkansas. For the next 6 months my wife tried to get the cushions and a repairman to come to our house and fix the furniture finally we recieved the new cushions for the couch but they were a darker color than the original cushions. The Love seat requires that a repairman would have to install cushions and the couch required a repairman. To no prevail we have not seen or can not get ahold of anyone at Hanks Fine Furniture just an answer machine. Our furniture has an extended warranty but Hanks furniture still has not sent a repairman to fix our furniture. We spent close to $3, 000 dollars for the furniture and would expect that this sum of money would at the very least receive a return call. this establishment is what is wrong with america today no one will stand by their product or word. My advice to anyone thinking of buying furniture is to buy from anyone but Hanks Fine Furniture.

Hank's Fine Furniture crappy store

On 3/20/2010 I purchasesd a recliner from Hanks in Little Rock AR. It was a display model and the one in the Little Rock store was already sold but there was one in the Jonesboro AR store (approximately 2 hrs away). The salesperson said trucks run between the stores each week and our chair (we paid for it on 3/20) would be in Little Rock in 7 - 10 days. On 3/31/2010 I called the LittleRock store and they advises the chair was in transit. On 4/3/2010 I called the store again to see if the chair was in; same story..."in transit". I immediately called the Jonesboro store and the assistant manager said he loaded the chair himself on the previous day and it would be in Little Rock on 4/6/2010 ( a long wait for a 2 hr trip). Warehouse closed on 4/5; no chair on 4/6. On 4/7/2010 I called and was told the chair had finally made the 2 hour trip! I went to the warehouse and the worker put the wrapped up chair in the back of my SUV (it was raining and I did not unwrapthe chair at the warehouse). When I got home and opened up the SUV I was shocked to see a sticker price about $500 under what I had paid for the chair. My wife looked at the chair and said it was the wrong chair; the SKU did not match. I took the chair back to the Little Rock store and found out that the Jonesboro dude loaded the WRONG CHAIR! I called Hanks HQ and was told to deal with it that mistakes happens. The Little Rock store manager verified that the chair I bought was actually in the Joneboro store and upon finding out it was there promised me that it would go on the truck from Jonesboro 4/9/2010 and be in Little Rock on 4/10/2010. I won't hold my breath. On 4/8/2010 the salesperson that sold me the chair called and said my chair was in (she had no clue what happened the day before). This is my second and last purchase from this crappy store.
