Hamilton Beach Brands Model 47950 series g3122dj (qty 2) & series g0922dj (qty 1); model 49920 series g1132ce (qty 1)

Since 12.22.22, I have purchased 3 BrewStations Model 47950 and 1 Flexbrew Trio Model 49920 direct from Hamilton. All four coffeemakers failed in various ways (leaking, failure to heat properly, and burning up inside) within 3 weeks to 5 months after I received them. I spent a total of $119.17 direct with Hamilton Beach so I have not had the option of returning them to a retailer. Hamilton Beach refuses to refund my money, and after FOUR failures within 11 months I am unwilling to accept another appliance from them. I want a full refund.

The timeline of issue with Hamilton Beach is attached, which also outlines their response to my complaints.

Hamilton Beach Brands 29882c homebaker breadmaker

Machine has been used less than once a month for the last few years. The machine is reliable and does exactly as indicated in the user manual. However, it has one serious flaw. The seal for the small drive shaft to the kneading paddle is garbage and fails without notice. Major failure on the part of manufacturer.

Cannot repair with replacement parts, but are forced to purchase whole new pan assembly. Excellent machine, but fatal design flaw. Too bad, Hamilton Beach, but you have shot yourself in the foot.

Desired outcome: Manufacturer should provide a repair solution and redesign seal.Replacement pan would be appreciated

Hamilton Beach Brands Coffee marker flex brew model 49830

I am reaching out to you to complain about a defective coffee machine. You stated in the information booklet not to return the unit to the store but to contact you. I have tried to use the brand new coffee machine “ flex-brew” model 49930 serial # C5212CE with no success. I have tried the trouble shooting page direction many time the unit does not work to make coffee. I even watched a video on youtube where the gentleman was explaining how he got the unit to work. I also tried that technique to no avail.

I can not believe that making a cup of coffee should be so complicated that you would need to pump the water tank. I have had my keuric machine for (15) years with no issues, and I just plugged it in and made a cup of coffee. I am also frustrated that I used and wasted multiple coffee and expresso pods trying to get the unit to work. If there is a youtube video on getting your unit to work that must mean there are issues with this model.

I would like my money back for this unit and would like to send back the defective machine at your expense. Please send a

Hamilton Beach Brands Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Coffee Maker

I have emailed several time back and forth with your customer service department about my complaint of the k-cup side of this coffeemaker that never worked. I submitted my receipt from Target and I am constantly being told they cannot read the receipt. If they would enlarge the Target receipt they could clearly make out the date of 9/2022 and Flex brew coffeemaker. Your company is acting like I am trying to ripe you off for $100 bucks. I am only asking for a coffeemaker that works for my money.

I have emailed them consistently every day for the last 2 weeks and I had asked that a supervisor review my complaint and they came back with the same bs of cannot read the receipt. This is all I have to submit.

Hamilton Beach Brands HB flexbrew coffeemaker.

I purchased a coffeemaker Model 49904 an A1512CE less than 5 months ago. I have troubleshot and cleaned the hardly ever used coffeemaker. I have emailed and called about it and they want to charge me a fee to talk to a tech. This unacceptable. Hardly used should not have any problems with this coffeemaker. I paid good money for this product. The side that does one cup doesn’t work at all water flows into carafe tank. N

Either I want another one or a full refund.

Hamilton Beach Brands Coffee maker

Contacted the company regarding defective portable model 46111 coffee maker 3 times by email from their website and on the phone. No response, no customer support. Item worked less than a year and still under a warranty. Started leaking and became a hazard for me being electrocuted. Very bad customer service and quality of the product. Unable to resolve a problem.

Hamilton Beach Brands Smooth touch can opener

I bought the Smooth Touch Can Opener from Amazon on August 29,2022, received it the next day August 30, 2022, and returned it September 1, 2022. I bought it, despite the almost 1000 ONE STAR reviews all saying it wouldn't open a can, shown on both Amazon and Walmart (combined totals).

I had this same can opener for almost 8 years with no problems and I wanted another just like it. BUT! A can opener is supposed to OPEN THE CAN! IT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT A BLADE! How on earth is it that you are not only making a can opener without a blade, it's passing inspection, have been distributing it as a working product, and this has been going on for at least a year? There are no cutting blades! Are you saying that NO ONE has sent you a complaint? That you didn't know? That no one told you of the high number of returns on both the opener and the one with the cheap scissors? Really? For a year you didn't know? Who is in charge of that?

Inconvenience aside, I am so disappointed. I trusted Hamilton Beach Products. I ordered it thinking that certainly the problem had been fixed. It had been a year! I have had to resort to a hand held opener. I certainly won't buy another without being there in person and opening the package to check for a blade! Really disappointed in you, Hamilton Beach! You let us all down! I want to be able to trust Hamilton Beach again and buy products that are complete.

Desired outcome: I would like a written apology and the problem with the can opener fixed, to buy another can opener like the one I had that was dependable and worked for 8 years!

Hamilton Beach Brands Hamilton Beach 4.4 Stainless Black Fridge

After 3 phones calls that go to an ansering service and 2 email, i finally had a return call on a Sunday afternoon from a unknow name and number, it was

Chuck Bryant who offer me his email. He followed up with a number of questions. I responded with all the details and pictures of the uniit.

Mr Bryant follow up email informed me that i was pass the 1year warranty and the his desiion was BLACK AND WHITE, nothing Hamilton Beach could do.

I purchased the unit in April 2021, and used in my work shop till late fall when it becomes to cold, stored the unti until first part of May 2022, set it up and it worked for serveral weeks, then it just stopped.

Customer service did not offer any other assisntance like how to get it fix or a list of authorized dealers. If fact i requested to speak to a Manager or supervisor, Mr Chuckie Bryant infomed me he was it, nobody esle to talk to.

I have followed up with serveal email, they all go unanswered.

Very disappointed in the Customer Service, but even more disapppointed in the prodoct that wont work efter about 60 month use.

I am writing to issue a complaint regarding a product purchase. I purchased a mixer with serial no. A1402FN and product model no. is 58180C from one of your merchants in the month of June 2021.

The product is not working properly. I need support from the department to look into the matter because I have missed the invoice somewhere and I use this product on regular basis.

Hamilton Beach Brands Personal blender

I purchased a personal blender from Target.com. the blender has a opening and closing drinking spout that slides back and forth. The piece broke off from the bottom and was blended into my shake. I consumed some of the hard black plastic before biting down on something hard while drinking and immediately poured it into the sink and there were hard black plastic throughout my drink. What I couldn't retrieve went into my garbage disposal ruining it. I immediately reached out to Target.com with complaint and pictures and they refunded my purchase through target.com website. No one from Target followed up regarding the defective item they sold. I then reached out to Hamilton Beach, Inc, via their website. I received an email follow up asking for more detailed information and pictures. I submitted that information and never heard back from them. The email stated they will look over the submitted information and pictures and get back to me. That never happened. I then submitted a BBB complaint and went back and forth with them regarding sending back the defective item to them. I asked that they send a prepaid box labeled in order to get the item back. They refused stating they will not provide the box for the item. But will send a prepaid label. I never received any label. Why should a customer have to pay anything to send a defective product back to the manufacture? That is despicable.

Their product is dangerous and need to be pulled off the shelves. Upon reading more reviews the same thing happen to another purchasing customer as well as others stating the blades break off into the drink. Again, this is a very dangerous product. Hamilton Beach, Inc. defective design is unacceptable. What is more unacceptable is their failure to provide any warnings that these parts may fail causing injury while operating the product.

Desired outcome: I want them to pay for the garbage disposal replacement. I would like to know if the plastic I consumed is made out of any cancer causing agents. Written documented material stating what the plastic is made out of.

Hamilton Beach Brands Microwave

I purchased a Hamilton beach microwave in August 2021. It stopped working in February 2022 (wtf). I still have a year warranty on it so I’ve been running around trying to get into contact with Hamilton Beach to get it fixed or replaced but I CANT CONTACT THEM. They have 2 customer service numbers and both of them just tell you to email them then it automatically hangs up. It doesn’t even give an email to contact and there’s no email on the site. I put in a inquiry/request a few days ago and I’m still waiting to be contacted. I will never EVER buy a Hamilton Beach product again. This is so horrifically disrespectful and unprofessional.

Desired outcome: Return, exchange, or get the microwave fixed.

I completed the form on your website. It is now February 18th. I have not received any type of response.

Hamilton Beach Brands Microwave

Purchased a microwave from Walmart with extended warranty. Microwave turn table stop working. I took the microwave back to Walmart with the receipt. Walmart inform me I need to contact Hamilton Beach. So I return home with the Microwave and contact the number in the owner manual. When I spoke to a person they told me I need to return the product back to Walmart. Again I went to Walmart they refuse to take the microwave back because it was purchased over 90 days. So I left with the microwave and called Hamilton Beach. I was given a ref. number [protected] and was told to have the manager to call them. Again I return to Walmart and Again I was turned away. I called Hamilton beach again and was told they will call the manager at the store and they will call me back. While going back and forth I purchased a new microwave. Still waiting for someone to call me.

Hamilton Beach Brands Toastation

- I wanted to return some damaged/defective products in the guarantee period, they didn't accept by manufacturing a non-sense excuse!
- Some of the products they shipped were lost and when I told them that the customer service treated me like I'm paranoid!
- They've canceled one of my orders and deleted the discount code I used immediately!

The company doesn't give a single f to customers. If you're going through to buy anything from their website you are on your own and accepted the risks.

I'd suggest everyone buy through Amazon etc. because there is not even a phone line that you can reach to the company!

and when you finally contact someone via email they make everything to annoy you.

The company itself basically a la-la land.

Hamilton Beach Brands Hand/stand mixer

I ordered a Hamilton Beach hand/stand mixer February 2021. As I knew the product I did not hesitate buying the product. As I only use the mixer at Xmas for making Divinity I did not open until December, Was amazed when motor on mixed burnt and the beaters did not set on bottom of bowl. I called Amazon and the offer a refund even though I had had it over the a lotted time. They said they would credit my credit card when I called 12-16-21. However it never happened and when calling to find out why not I got the run around big time. I still have a useless piece of equipment of which they told me to trash. On 10/04/2021 I emailed customer service about my situation won't brew K Cups was told to use bottle water and to change brand of coffee? I did as suggested except my coffee brand. I stilled ended up with hot coffee and grounds all over my counter. This has turned out to be endless emails back and forth with no solution. I asked for refund and after there reply about not buying through them they could not refund valid point then I asked for replacement and that was a no. I had less than a year and is replaceable that was still a no.

Hamilton Beach could at least have someone answer the help line, instead of telling people to send an e-mail that no one answers! Flex brew coffee maker has a flaw, that's the reason for coffee all over the counter, the needle that punctures the brew cup is not sharp enough! Tell your customers to puncture the cup themselves and then put in coffee maker and close the lid. Works perfect every time! Hamilton beach should at least send a new and improved k-cup holder to its customers, although they won't admit to it. they'd rather blame the k-cup manufacturers. NOT a very good business to deal with ! mark Spranger

Good morning Mr. Trepp,

I begin by saying that I am shocked that Mr. Dean or Dan? sent back the product I no longer wanted. When I read his letter, I had a hard time understanding his motives; surely he did not get this directive from you.
I sent him this very same blender unit asking for the piddly refund of $15 + change that I paid for It. I already sent the receipt when I sent the box. I never said that the unit was defective. I did say that there seems to be a flaw in the design; it does not come clean nor does it disassemble for cleaning. Does this person think that I have not tried, every way I could think of, to clean this unit? Dare I say he did not try to clean it himself? using the method he has described?
Sir, your own self-worth gained from this company is upwards of $3 million dollars. I cannot begin to think you are willing to risk $15.00 on your reputation or your company image.

Hamilton Beach Brands Fraud, needs to be investigated

Today monday july 27, 2020
Last wednesday july 22 I bought a digital countertop oven with convection and rotisserie. At the end of the week I sent a couple of emails to know about the shipping and not response. I have submited many forms on the website and no response. Today monday 22, I called to different numbers they show on their website and nobody answer.

My conclusion is this company hamilton beach is a fraud. Im taking legal action for this scam and they will pay. I really recommend a total investigation to hamilton beach.
