Hallmark Service

I was not happy when you chose to run sitcoms most of the day and only show three or four movies a day but now that Christmas in July is coming up and your choosing to run sitcoms for hours instead of running Christmas movies 24/7 it's making me question your commitment to your customers. I pay a lot of money to have your three channels but your new direction that you are taking this company is not worth what I have to pay.
My husband is disabled and I have been dealing with breast cancer surgery this year a d Hallmark has always been our 24/7 channel but lately we have had to watch other channels because we refuse to watch sitcoms.
I personally this your program director or who ever is making these decisions needs to be fired.
We're not going to continue to be loyal customers and pay a huge cable bill for 3 Hallmark channels when we aren't getting the movies we have gad in the past.
Fix this your you will loose two loyal fans.

Desired outcome: 24/7 Christmas movies and stop with the sitcoms

Hallmark TV show - Good Witch

Return to your family friendly story line and stop pushing that same sex romance crap down our throats. The main reason I watch Hallmark is because this wasn't done. I don't care if its the politically correct thing to do or not...STOP IT...you have just ruined my favorite show...

Hallmark Christmas in July programming

I realize that to some Christmas movies in July, or even anytime are cheesy, but there are some of us who wait every year for this.
I am very disappointed with the cutbacks in the schedule of this much anticipated event.
Can I assume that countdown to Christmas will be similarly diminished?
I watch Hallmark for a respite from what is on most other channels. Everyone to their own taste, but Hallmark was one of the few places that I could go to find the kind of entertainment that I enjoy,
I was particularly pleased that you have increased the presence of black performers in the past year. It was always nice to see the Mowery's, Holly Robinson Peet and the important storylines that appeared in the Evergreen series from day one, but the increase has introduced us to other fine performers, Duane Henry for one.
I am not comfortable with PDA's of any type beyond the trademark interrupted kiss and the final fade to black.
I was greatly anticipating all day/night programming and a vacation from the worn out Golden Girls and Fraser.
I also do not need anymore retired sitcoms which are available on almost any channel.
You surely have enough of a backlog of movies to give us the vacation that we need from your changed programming. I love several of them, but can only watch Autumn Wedding, Moonlight in Vermont and some of the mysteries so many times.
Don't know why you decided to make this drastic change in Christmas in July but the end of the month does not look promising as many of your newer movies have lacked a spark and performances of those we have grown to love.

Desired outcome: Return to original structure of Christmas in July and don't change Countdown!

Not a fan of Christmas in July programming. If they must do this, it should be on the main Hallmark channel instead of the movies and mysteries channel. Really would like to see some new mysteries as well. Getting sick of the same reruns for the 63rd time. I'm starting to wonder why I'm paying extra for this channel.

Hallmark Why did you ruin good witch?

Please, please fire whoever is caving to the woke left and writing lesbian relationships into Good Witch. If we wanted to watch characters sleep around or be attracted to the same sex we would watch any other countless shows that aren't what most consider "cheesey". We have always watched Hallmark because it was clean. I am so disappointed that Hallmark is caving to political bullies instead of listening to their fan base. I have a feeling our family isn't the only one that watches Hallmark mostly because it is clean. If it's going to start glamorizing sin like most of Hollywood, we won't watch shows here either. In fact I'm done with Hallmark unless I hear word that they are making clean material again.

Please honor your viewers and keep Hallmark Channel family friendly.

Desired outcome: No homosexual or sleep around storylines… family friendly and honorable of religious viewers

Praise the Lord! Someone else stands for what's right and against the filth that the left is using to destroy our great country. I pray that millions more will stand up and say NO to the kind of content that destroys family values, and ultimately our country. I'd still love to be able to watch hallmark but if I have to worry about what is being put in then I won't take the chance. I hope and pray that hallmark will change back and stand up against the minority in the world and not cave in to their destructive views.

I loved The Good Witch and watch it all the time. I watch Catherine Bell on all her shows. But with the [censored]s on The Good Witch I will never watch it again. It is just sick and wrong that the producers feel the need to ruin a perfectly good show. It stinks!

Those of us in the LGBTQ community exist whether you like it or not and having ourselves represented as nothing to do with so-called "woke" culture. You're a bigot. Lesbians, gays, transgendered folk and those who identify as queer have families and are part of families just like you; therefore, the show *is* family friendly. Your bigotry is your own. Worry about that.

You can call us bigots all day long but ultimately it’s the God who created and loved you that made you male or female, to become one flesh in marriage and raise children to ultimately glorify Him. It was his design and if you feel like something LGBTQ is off or doesn’t actually lead to the happiness you thought it would, it’s because you’re going against the God that created you and his design for your life! He loves you, and made you for a purpose. Homosexuality is Satan’s attempt to twist the good things of God. It will lead to death and disappointment and I just hope that when it does, you will turn to your creator to find your way.

If it's just about bigotry, as you claim, then why is your community always trying to shove your perverse lifestyle down our throats. Make your own shows and movies and give us the choice to watch or not to watch instead of trying to take over our shows and movies and forcing us to "accept and praise" your lifestyle choices, Which we NEVER will!

God wants us to love the sinner but never to accept the sin. satan wants the sin to be praised. Let me ask this: Would your community accept having support Christ month and parades honoring God? I think not which speaks volumes about your tactics and statement.

I agree wholeheartedly. I work a lot and use the DVR. I pulled up this season to start binging over the holiday weekend and was SO disappointed. HMM channel is still clean and "family friendly" but there are murders bring solved. I miss watching Hallmark and relaxing with my 84 yr old mom and not stressing and worrying that I have to skip scenes. I feel I can't safely watch this channel anymore. What's next? Ruining Hope Valley? When Calls the Heart and When Hope Calls best watch out. I loved GOOD Witch, too. Why do we have to have homosexuality on every network? Can't heterosexuals enjoy a network? Can't families with Christian values and faith have networks for them in the world of fiction? I pay a lot for my satellite to watch these networks and Hallmark WAS my mom's favorite. WAS. What if Causions took over BET? BET groupies would have a fit and win. Why can't Christians, family focused, and heterosexual of all ethnic groups have a channel?

Yes, just because Catherine Bell is now a lesbian does not mean that they need to add lesbian characters to the show. What she does in private is her business but please don’t push it into your programming. If this is the direction then I will be dropping my Hallmark package, which I pay extra for because I liked the clean family shows that highlighted family and values.

Does Hallmark realize that by catering to the LGBT community - which is about 3% of anyone - they are alienating a lot of the other 97% ? If they want buying power, I'd suggest they focus on the larger group.

Hallmark Not a family channel to watch anymore

I won't be watching the good witch or any other show on your station that doesn't reflect wholesome values. I hope more viewers will show their displeasure by not watching so ratings drop and our voice is heard. Most viewers want shows that don't use bad language, have good story lines and promote male and female relationships not same sex. Please don't compromise

The writing in season 8 was horrible and on top of that, HM social media sites were blocking and insulting TN fans..this is no way to act for a channel that is suppose to be respectable. I cancelled my membership after the horrible season finale of WCTH and how that HM channel media blocked me also angered me...This is not good business..whoever is running HM now, you should really listen to your viewers and not block them bc they don't agree with your decisions.

Hallmark Good witch not family friendly

As an individual who can't get out much these days due to medics issues I turn to wholesome hallmark to help keep my mind occupied. By take the wholesome part out and forcing lbgt agenda I find one less thing I can escape reality to help occupy my mind from the physical pain I am ALWAYS in. Hallmark must have fired the Good Witch writers when LGBTQ people gave Hallmark their marching orders. I an really turned off at watching lesbian programs bc I have nothing in common with them. If Hallmark thinks that they have a large LBGTQ following, perhaps they should start a Hallmark Gay channel to test the waters, instead of infecting wholesome programs with their sexual preferences.

The writing so far this season is less than magical. And they are trying very hard by having the last scene as a cliffhanger so we will tune in next week. Well, guess what? I have totally lost interest in Good Witch since the kids left to go to college. When is Hallmark going to infuse critical race baiting theory into their storylines to show us how to hate each other? Shame on Hallmark for lowering their standards to that of the Lifetime channels.

Hallmark Good witch

Why did you add a gay storyline to Good Witch? Do you not care that a lot of your viewers are religious and depend on your shows to reflect values that most other tv stations will not? Hallmark has a huge base of people who watch for the clean content. Please don't ostracize us just so you can be okay with the woke mob.

Desired outcome: Shows and movies without lgbtq (ALL religions see this as sinful, a huge viewer base)

Hallmark Hallmark Good Witch - not family friendly - lesbian story line

The Good Witch's lesbian story line is not family friendly and I'm no longer going to be a customer or viewer. I'm disappointed in the changes being made and cannot watch shows like this with my preteen daughter. As a Christian, I'm disappointed that there is now fewer shows to watch as a family. I would prefer Hallmark to not be taking this path and caving to the liberal side. They will lose a big portion of viewers. It would be smarter to just stay out of current issues and stay family friendly.

Desired outcome: Hallmark apology and return to family friendly show

Hallmark Rude, unsympathetic store manager

Complaint: At 3:00 pm EST, I was treated rudely and horribly by Ms. Dede Cole, the store manager, at the Hallmark Store located at The Village At Waugh Chapel Shp Center, 2650 Chapel Lake Dr, Gambrills, MD [protected], [protected].

I walked into the store without a mask (due to medical reasons), to purchase an "Angel of Mine" Willow Tree figurine for my daughter who lost a child due to a miscarriage. I spoke to a store employee (not Ms. Cole) twice, once asking where I could find the willow tree figurines and secondly asking where the Mother Day cards were. She politely pointed me in the right direction. I spent approximately 15 minutes in the store before walking up to the register.

At that time, Ms. Cole, not the person ringing me up, told me in a very curt manner that I needed to have a mask on while in the store. I explained that I have a medical reason and unable to wear one. She said (again very harshly) it didn't matter what condition I had, I needed to wear a mask. I politely explained again that I cannot wear one and asked if she would please just ring me up. Ms. Cole refused and moved the girl at my register to another register so she could ring up other customers.

Ms. Cole still refused to ring my purchase up until I put my mask on. I asked her if she was discriminating against me due to my medical reason and she began to berate me in front of all the customers, loudly telling me she didn't care about any medical condition and reminded me again that the sign (which wasn't visible because the door was propped open) said you must put a mask on to enter the store.

Seeing no other way, I pulled a mask from my purse and hung it on my ear, to which she demanded that I put it on correctly or I would have to leave the store. I then pulled it up over my mouth, but held it away from my face so I could breathe, to which she snidely commented, "Really?!" She continued to castigate me in front of customers by telling me to pull the mask over my nose or I would need to leave the store. I pulled it up over my nose until she started ringing me up, then I pulled my mask down. She quickly put my gift in a bag, handed me the bag and told me strongly and loudly, "Don't come back!"

I've been a faithful patron of Hallmark stores for over 50 years and have never been treated so rudely as I was today by Ms. Cole. If this is how Hallmark trains their managers, i.e., to be discriminate, be rude, indifferent and unsympathetic, then I will gladly take my business and that of my entire family and circle of friends elsewhere to purchase mementos, cards and gifts.

Sincerely,
Ms. Taylor
[protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: I would like an apology from Ms. Cole for the way she talked to me. I would also like Hallmark to consider sensitivity training for all their managers/employees to be sympathetic to customers with medical reasons.

Hallmark Program Content

Please stop having homosexual characters in your movies and shows. Hallmark is supposed to be a clean, wholesome family friendly network.

Please bring BACK going to Church on Christmas Eve instead of big events or parties. When Larry Levinson produced your movies, the characters always went to Church for Christmas Eve Servies and also bring BACK Church Weddings. The occasional alternative venue is fine but now you do not have any other Weddings in Churches which is STILL where most people get married or also in Synagogues. Have Ministers or Priests Officiate also. You now want to just eradicate all religion out of your shows and that is NOT real life. Thank you for the Pastor coming back in When calls the Heart as that would have been imperative in those days and location. Bring back people going to Sunday religious Services as well as this is normal. Stop banning Religion and Biblical Values Please.

I completely agree. Are used to love watching Hallmark movies because they centered around what our country was founded on Christianity. The Christmas stories usually involve going to church and worshiping. Now you’re trying to bring in gay and lesbian lovers like we’re not gonna notice that that is completely against our ethical standards. I’m disgusted at your shows and I’m embarrassed to watch it with my children. This used to be something that we loved doing as a family. And it’s breaking my heart that you were choosing to destroy our family values.

I've never been against hallmark for including homosexual storylines in there programming, but I still expect quality entertainment. Everything just started to seem so rushed that it felt like so much was left out. Maybe if they weren't trying to produce 50 Christmas movies a year, really 12 is enough, maybe they could create a more refined product. May favorites are The Christmas Card, Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Christmas with Holly.

I agree! Hallmark used to make some of the best Christmas movies. Now you can make a 4 minute video and explain the whole movie. ( Oh, yeah, the Holderness family did just that). Are writers so incompetent now that they are incapable of writing good content? I stopped watching the Christmas movies. You just need to watch one and you have the answer to the rest. Sad comment to where tv is at now. I prefer the older shows and movies because they were made back when film making meant something and people strived for excellence. Now it seems, they strive for filth.

Hallmark Good witch casting spells

As a Christian counselor I am very disappointed with Hallmark showing the members of the cast casting spells. I work as a counselor for the Satanic Ritual Abused victims and find the content upsetting. Spells do exist, witches do exist and making it appealing is not a good idea. Personally I will not watch "The Good Witch" and hope you vet your writers to make sure they are not practicing witches - white or black magic.

Hallmark LGBTQ content and characters

I am extremely disappointed and disheartened Hallmark has decided to add LGBTQ content and characters to its movies and commercials. While I understand complaints have been received both in favor of, and against this change, this decision does not reflect the values and desires of the vast majority of those who have chosen the Hallmark channel over the past few years specifically because of the content of its beloved movies. While Hallmark may receive some new pleased customers, it will lose others who do not appreciate or welcome the change. Is adding LGBTQ content and characters what Hallmark really wants to do and represent? This is one of the very things, along with foul language, violence, sexual scenes, etc. that Hallmark has refused to air over the years that has made it a favorite of conservative, Christians and others. Does Hallmark really want to disenfranchise these audiences to pursue another agenda and/or audience? Is it a social agenda? A financial agenda? Something else? I do not appreciate, welcome or support the changes! I hope Hallmark will reverse course to reinstate and maintain the values and priorities it once held strong, and for which it received praise.

Desired outcome: Please choose to remove all LGBTQ content and characters from all movies and commercials, and make that policy change widely known.
