Guaranteed Consumer Funding Never Received Produce-2 yrs waiting

I heard about Guaranteed Consumer Funding on a local radio station. At the time, I did not have A++ credit, so I decided to order a desktop computer from GCF. This was in April 2008! GCF sent all the paperwork, I completed and returned and they drafted $99 from my bank account and continued to auto draft $68 each month for one full year. Upon payment in full in April 2009, I called and asked when I would receive my computer. They said it would be 6-8 weeks. I waited and called again after not receiving my PC. Again, 6-8 weeks. Finally, in April 2010, I actually spoke with someone and they said since it had been so long, they would upgrade to meet today's standards and it would be delivered in June 2010. Then November 2010, then December 2010. Well, it is now January 2011 and I have paid $900+ for something I have never received. I can not get a call back nor an email response as you can not call anymore. This is absolutely ridiculous! To me, $900 is quite a bit of money and it is just gone. I expect a total refund and some agency needs to step in and settle with all customers. This company and all who work for GCF should be ashamed for taking advantage of those you trusted them. Shame on GCF! Hopefully, a class action lawsuit will soon follow.

Guaranteed Consumer Funding computer

I would just like to say that if you truly don't have very good credit, like I didn't a few years ago, NEVER sign up for one of these programs! First off I've payed 722.00 for something I'm never going to see and also why would you pay 2, 500.00 for a computer that 600.00 at Best Buy? Do yourself a favor put 99.00 in a savings account then add 29.99 to that account a week and in a few month you'll have a computer and a peice of mind. They have the worst customer service I've ever dealt with and they will even hang up on you if you ask for their supervisor or lie and tell you they are the supervisor. After two years I have finally gotten them to agree to atleast give me something for my money since they will not issue refunds, guess what I'm going to get? A 722.00 PSP. I could cry.

As you can see by doing the math, I paid a RAPING total of $2, 595.87 (not including time and labor costs) for an HP dv6-1030us laptop that retails for around $550.00. I don't think I need to remind you all that I did NOT get the bonus "gifts" either; which should have been an MP3 player & Nintendo Wii. *Sigh* Well folks, I guess serving 4 years in the Army with 2 Tours to Iraq I am glad I can count on "American Businesses" to R-I-P ME OFF! My hands are shaking with fury and rage right now that I can barely type. I better end this before I say something I will regret!

If you have already invested good money than I would suggest you suck it up and continue to play their greedy game or else you will lose your money. I know how frustrating it is but the bottom line is that as long as you continue making good on your payments and returning mailed paperwork, etc... than they are obligated to ship your product.
Good Luck

Guaranteed Consumer Funding Mickey Mouse all the way.

I signed up with this company in June, and have paid them $1933.00. First they didn't even get my routing number right after assuring me they knew it. Three months in I upgraded. I was told I would get delivery confirmation in Dec, but when I called I was told I need to pay the difference of my upgrades. (thanks for the heads up huh?) In Jan I was given a shipping date of march 15th.
Oh, by the way, they base your shipping date on your paymnent history and yearly income. March 15th... no cpu "We're having shipping problems with Dell." They offered me a Hp with some better upgrades. GREAT! ok your shipping date has been moved back two weeks. 31/2 weeks later no cpu... I call... gee we are have shipping problems with HP too. My third shipping date Aug 27th, and I have recieved nothing but paper and promises. I was also told that the cpu would be ordered at the time I'm given my shipping date. Anybody with any common sense knows even when dealing with bulk orders (as gcf does) that an order in Jan should be ready in the coarse of roughly two months. I honestly believe that no order had ever been placed. If it was then what kind of a mickey mouse biz are they?
Eleven months into the program and nothing on my credit report. They haven't even improved my credit score! Every time I call (about twice a week) they change the story a little on me. It's like they're just telling me what I want to hear to satisfy me at the moment.
After calling them and asking them to take several, in progress, items off of my payment listing they say that the system is automated and they can't take it off. Oh but it doesn't affect your credit that's normal. Then I explaind to them that I had a lender looking at my online report and was offering me a loan if they would take those off. "No" was my anwser. This company has a very nasty habit of leading people on instead of being honest and saying this is not a quick program and you wont get anything out of it anytime soon. I plan on completing this program because I was more interested in the good credit then the merchandise. (all in all I will be paying over $2500 for a cpu that retails for about $1000 in my neck of the woods).
A rent to own store is cheaper and less hassle. DO NOT START THIS PROGRAM IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. If you have then stick with it and don't let them win your hard earned money!

James Gibson told the BBB that a order for me was re-routed to another customer in WI. I checked with Dell Computer's and James Gibson lied again, the order was never made for me and never re-routed from me. WARNING TO ALL, CEC aka Guaranteed Consumer Funding Can NOT BE TRUSTED!

I want my money back, this person is getting a $500.00 computer in Wisconsin. I have paid CEC $1058.68 of my money and they lied about sending me even a $500.00 computer, canceled/suspended my account for an email I sent asking do I need a lawyer, Then called me a potential defaulting customer. UNBELIEVABLE! I was not the one who canceled my account. So many games they play. BUYER BEWARE!

I signed up over the phone with this company way back in March 2017. On 3/28/08 they drafted the non-refundable down payment of $99. I was told that I needed to make 3 bi-weekly payments on-time, and then they would ship the computer. I have paid 12 payments of 77.96 and still did not recieve a correct shipping date, tracking information, or anything of help for that matter. The first shipping date I received was 8/4-8/12. When the computer still had not arrived by 8/20, I called and they told me it was backed up at the warehouse. So they gave me a new shipping date, 9/1-9/9. Low and behold, I did not receive my computer then either. When I called, the woman told me that someone had given me the wrong information and that I should receive my computer by 9/19. She also said that if I did not get it by then, that I should call and get the tracking info. So on 9/23, when I still had not received my computer, I called to get the tracking info. Guess what they told me?! They said that my account was being audited and that I would have to wait another 5-10 days. I asked to speak to the auditing department and see why they were reviewing my account, but she told me that no one was available. This was after she told me that she sent them a message and they responded back. How was no one there? Anyway, next I asked to speak to her supervisor; apparently he wasn't available either. She said she would have him call my home; which never happend. So I decided to call back today and see what was really going on. I spoke with a supervisor and he told me that they were auditing my account because of the recession. WHat a JOKE... I decided to cancel my account with them, after losing more than 1, 000 dollars, and I put a hold on my account so they can't touch it. I guess my next step is filing a theft report with local PD and pushing this further so I can try and get my money back. I definetely do not recommend this company to anyone. They charge 3x the going price for a plain jane computer. They are full of empty promises and will lie through their teeth to get you to sign the contract and to lead you on every month to get their payment. DONT DO IT. I hope everyone has better luck than I did.

I have spent $120 a month since July 2017. I was told after I made 3 payments, I would receive my computer. I have them deduct $60 every 2 weeks, out of my checking account. I have NEVER gone without making a payment. It is Jan. 27, 2017, and I have spent approx. $900, and still have NOT received my computer, credit repair package, mp3 player, DVD burner, and WII gaming system, they said I would get. Now that I complained to the BBB, they say that I am a "high risk"customer, and I am not going to get my computer, until I put something in writing to the BBB that the problem has been resolved!

HELP!

On June 17, 2017 a friend saw the advertisement for CEC Solutions aka Guaranteed Consumer Funding and knowing I had been basically ripped off 3 times in a year, suggested I give them a call. I did and spoke with a Rob Boynton, operator # 138. He seemed very genuine and he assured me that if I kept up my end of the agreement that I would have a computer within a month.

On June 21, 2017 I sent the $99.00 down payment and have steadfastly paid $29.99 each week (with the exception of 1 week in September when I was hospitalized and had no income and 1 week in November when my checking account was cleaned out by a scam).

I am a cashier and cannot afford to buy a computer outright and this is the 4th time my hard earned money has been taken and I don't get what I am promised.

It is now December 16, 2017 and I have made 21 weekly payments along with the downpayment, totaling $729.76. I have jumped through every hoop they put up and they always give me one more thing I have to do before they will give me a ship date.

When I call I am on hold no less than 20 minutes before even speaking with a representative and they are no longer nice to me. I am given all kinds of excuses (the audit dept is in a morning meeting, the supervisor is away from his desk, etc) as to why I can't get any answers.

From day one I was told NO REFUNDS, so I keep paying the weekly payments(that is taken straight out of my account) hoping that I will get my new computer and afraid to stop paying to just give up that money. Should I stop and just cut my losses? Or continue and pray this won't be just another rip-off? I feel so gullible and dense.

UTTERLY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Rude, you will be treated as though their shortcomings are your fault! This is not an occasional occurance! This is everyone who works for them.

In addition they will lie every time they talk to you. I was supposed to get my computer in May, I got it in November! I paid off everything in February, and I have yet to receive the Wii software suite or MP3 player.

Allegedly they are going to help you build credit...another lie! I paid $1500 for my computer and they reportedabout $500 to Trans-Union only!

PleaseDON"T MAKE THE SAME STUPID MISTAKE I MADE! Do not do business with this company!

I did all that plus ordered an upgrade which took my payment up to 58.96 every week. Still nothing. just like the rest of you i am sick of this company with there no refund policy and all the run around. i have talked with the FTC-Federal Trade Comission...[protected] and urge all of you that have been taken in by these rip-off artist to do the same. lets shut these clowns down and get our money back

I completely agree with shutting this company down. I have completely paid off my entire account with these people in hopes that my merchandise would be delivered quicker and I still have yet to receive anything from them. Every time I call the company I get the "it'll be another 3 weeks" statement from them. Well I've been hearing that for going on 4 months now! It's ridiculous and I'm completely fed up with the whole thing. My wife keeps telling me I should call the BBB or FTC but, from what I understand, they lie to them and try to put the blame on you, the customer. All I know is that this company is a complete scam and in these hard times, none of us can afford to lose any of that money. It's just upsetting that these people are low enough to do this to good, hard-working people who are just trying to fix their credit thinking this is a good option when all the others are made difficult.

you are right, I finally got my computer, after calling every week, but you are so right I must have gotten 4 different dates for my computer to be shipped and then finally it was shipped, they said because i didn't get it when I said, they would up grade my monitor to a 19 inch in which they did, after I paid 58.95 every 2 wks for a year, because I didn't want to lose the money I already paid, because somewhere in those papers, I think I saw something that said by signing these papers, you can't sue the company, I should have known then something was wrong, Now I keep calling to see when I'm going to get my free Wii and Mp3 they said they are on back order, well I've been hearing that since January, and now as of today I have been given the date of June the 9-15th. You know we are paying a lot of money for something we could have gotten 2 from wal mart, but if you are like me I didn't have the money to buy one so I thought the best thing to do was to but one on terms.

Iwouldn't advise anyone to use this company, because the money they are making off of us, the least they could have done was to honor there contract, I' m with whomever that was that said less shut them down, Call The FTC, because that is what I'm going to do [protected]

I was just like you, but had put too much money in to stop and call it a lost, so I kept letting them take the money and I kept bothering them until they gave me a date, and then another date and finally in Jan of 2017 I got it which was a year later

Guaranteed Consumer Funding Fraud and scam

I answered an ad for a computer and a chance to better my credit. Started to pay on this computer the end of July of 2008. I have paid over one thousand dollars into this computer and just received a computer after all these months. With many promised delivery dates each month, they finally after many phone calls from me got a inferior computer for the money I have put into this the first week of April of 2009. Jan no computer, Feb no computer, March no computer. Finally we spoke to the so called manager's manager and then was sent a computer. Was promised for the inconvenience of the delay of my merchandise caused by their screw up's a computer with 500 gb of hard drive, 3gb of ram, a core 2 duo processor as well as a DVD burner. When that one never came they called me and said that they were now going to upgrade me to a lap top with all the things I was promised on the desk top. Of course that I don't have in writing. the lap top that finally came only has 120 gb hard drive, 2048 mb ram, and they got it from tiger direct. When you look up this model on tiger direct it is worth about 500.00 not the thousand that I have paid them. Ordered a video camera also that never came.

After this lap top came and didn't have what they promised me I was told that only the desk top would have all that not the lap top and if I wanted the desk top I could trade in the lap top for the desk top. Was in my car at the time of the call so she told me to take a couple days to try out the lap top and then she would call me for my decision. Of course she didn't call that day till after they closed and I e-mailed them my decision for wanting the desk top. Then she backed stepped and said to trade them I would have to pay a restocking fee of about 175.00 and would only get the ORIGIONAL 80 gb computer that I was getting before all the promised upgrades. that's when I said that I would decide later and get back to them. I then went to my bank and stopped all payments to them and want to report them to everyone that I can find on what rip-offs they are and hope to stop anyone else from getting into this mess that I am trying hard to get out of. A very expensive lesson to learn and I am very sure it isn't over and won't be for a long time.

Guaranteed Consumer Funding Rip-offs

I also got taken in by this company promising a computer if you make your bi-weekly payments. After 8 months of faithful payments and many phone calls and many promised delivery dates I finally got a so called upgraded lap top that is worth about 500.00 and I have paid into them for over a thousand dollars. And I still am supposed to make payments for the next 4 months. No way, I stopped payments with my bank today and I am sure I will be a in disput with them for a long time. But they aren't getting any more of my money. I made a comment once about checking with the BBB and they claimed I threatened them. If they were a realible company they would welcome you checking them out. I am stuck with a inferior computer for the money I paid out for and they still haen't reported my faithful payments to the credit bureau like they say they will in the start of your transaction. I hope to help anyone out there from making the same mistake I made.

Guaranteed Consumer Funding HAVE NOT RECEIVED MERCHANDISE

The above company has been deducting $70.00 from my checking account since March of 2008. I have not received my computer. Will I be able to obtain my money back. This is ridiculous. Whenever I call, they give me the run-a-round. I believe I have been scammed. I know by law there is a process I can use to re-claim all of my money. Can you help me, please because I need my money in these hard economic times.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and have a good and safe day. Edith J. Williams

I am a grown man...and this company has hurt my consumer expectation so gravely that I could honestly cry.
I almost prefer crying over taking my anger out on my family, which sadly I have done. For there is no one else to vent to regarding the sheer, scathing audacity of this company to give you -not only the run-a-round - but to give it with a disrespectful attitude. I had placed my order with them on September 9th 2008. They have been deducting $65.00 from my account every two weeks. I have yet to receive my merchandize. Every time I call it’s another ruse.
I want to stop making payments…but if I do, my credit will then be damaged….the whole purpose I elected to use their company was to improve my credit….not to be ripoff.
I encourage you….I beg you…DO NOT DUE BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN. In my 54 years of life….I have NEVER BEEN SO UPSET AS A CONSUMER ON THIS PLANET….I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO ABUSED BY A COMPANY. I BEG YOU TO GET THE WORK OUT AND DO ZERO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Guaranteed Consumer Funding Good question

I ordered a computer (Way over priced by comparison with other retail companies) thru Guaranteed Consumer Funding in January. I was also told that after 5 payments at $29.99 per week the computer would be sent me. After the 5 payments, I called Guaranteed Consumer Funding to see when my new computer would be delivered. After a long, long wait on hold, I was told that my computer was being built specially for me (give me a break) I have made 25 weekly payments since and was told that my delivery date would be the week of June 9 through 17, and no computer. The weeks of June 9 through 17 came and went and still no computer. When I call to check the status of my delivery date I get nothing but a runaround and no computer.

The wait time when I call the so called customer service is typically between 45 to 50 minutes. I don’t dare leave a message; since I am confident I will not be getting a call back. This company is a fraud and geared only in retrieving their payment, which they are very good at; nothing else. They prey on consumers with weak or no credit.

Don’t even attempt logging into their shell website, all one will get is advertisement and non congenial information, together with no log in capability. Unfortunately, their customer service staff is illiterate and in my experience, only women, and I’m sure underpaid and easy to teach to answer questions with lies such as Dell is having delivery problems and make promises they don’t even know how to keep.

I called this company so as to CANCEL my order all together, but as I suspected, I was on hold for 52 minutes with various teases leading one to think that someone was answering, then the artificial voice recording and back to that cheesy hold music. Here is where it gets better for this company. I finally spoke with a customer services representative. I explained to her that I wanted to cancel my Loaded Payment Program, and that I wanted a full refund of what I have paid to this company thus far for something that I didn’t receive.

She graciously put me on hold, when she returned she told me that my payment plan had been canceled and that they could NOT refund layaway plans. I asked her to connect me with a manager and she could only take my number and said that someone would be calling me.

A layaway plan means that product is being held at the store until full payment is received. This is not the case with this company. I was told that Dell was building my computer especially for me, and that it would be delivered on a specific time frame. I took time from my work days to ensure a seamless delivery of the ghost computer. The company failed in their agreement and I WANT MY MONEY BACK IN FULL.

I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU PEOPLE CAN TAKE YOUR TIME ON GETTING PEOPLE THE ITEMS THAT THEY HAVE PAID THEIR MONEY FOR! YOU CONTINUE TO GET MY MONEY FAITHFULLY UNTIL IT WAS PAID IN FULL. NOW, I CAN'T GET A PHONE CALL, A LETTER, NOT EVEN A SMOKE SIGNAL FOR YOU ALL ABOUT MY ITEMS! YOU GIVE A DATE TO SHUT A PERSON'S MOUTH, YET YOUR ITEMS ARE NEVER ON TIME OR IF YOU'LL EVER RECEIVE THEM. WELL I WANT EVERY BIT ON MY ITEMS THAT I'VE PAID IN FULL FOR AND I WANT THEM NOW! NOT A MONTH FROM NOW, RIGHT NOW! THE WAY YOU PEOPLE DO BUSINESS IS MESSED UP AND THAT'S WHY YOU ARE IN THE SITUATION YOU'RE IN. I WANT MY ITEMS AND I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH YOU AGAIN! NOW IF YOU DON'T SEND ME MY ITEMS, I WILL BE LOOKING TO SEE WHAT I CAN DO ON A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL TO SEE HOW TO EITHER RECEIVE MY ITEMS OR MY MONEY BACK IN FULL.

I saw the advertisement for this company on television and called them and placed an order in August 2008. I complied with all of their regulations and patiently waited for my computer. A shipment date was given, but did not arrive in my given shipment week. I called them and they said due to Dell's plant being destroyed or whatever because of a hurricane, they were behind two months and gave me a new shipment date, no computer.

I called them again and they told me that all shipments were postponed until January 12th when they would resume shipments as the the shipment companies were living items without getting signatures resulting in claims against them. They asked me to call back the week of January 12th for a new shipment date which I did. My computer is due this week, January 18th-January 27th which hasn't shown up yet and I doubt it will.

I read Cheryl's report, also from Stockton, CA. She has been trying to get her computer since March 2008. I am not sure how to proceed from here.

I have been paying payments to this company since oct. of 09. I like alot of others expected my computer after 5 payments. I had a year of payments and than receive my new computer. So it is now oct. 2010 and the company taking the money from
my account says i have 8 more payments to make. I asked how that can be and they tell me they can only go by the balance that was forworded to them in July from GCF. I have never had a late payment and have also been told if i cancel or stop paying they will give me no refund. I need the computer for my job and my 3 teenage sons but now im wondering if i will ever get it. If anyone has any other information or sugesstions please email me I would appreciate any help I can get. I have tried to call GFC and it is only a recording saying they are going out of business so do i stop paying and cut my loses or make 8 more payments and hope? wilburntina1@yahoo.com

I have been paying for my computer since February this year. I thought I would have my computer a long time ago but I also was told my order kept getting pushed back and to call back for a tracking number. After getting online a few months ago I got very skeptical as to whether I would get my computer or not. I will say that the customer service reps I dealt with were all very nice to me and my hold times were not that bad. I read my contract with them and noticed that if I did cancel me order I would not be able to get a refund of my money. Well, I finally got my computer today and I am very happy with it. I am actually typing this up on it right now. So those that are having problems with this company I am very sorry but I did want to put on here that if you have ALOT of patience you will get your computer eventually. I really needed this computer many months ago, but I am glad that I at least got it in the end.

I have had almost the same experience with this company. Same excuses with dell delays and even though they swapped my order with an upgrade to an hp for faster delivery, I still never recieved my computer. I have paid in full to this company and once I looked up all the payments I had made, I realized they took over the agreed amount. I was told for a two week period that the product had shipped and that it would take 48 hours for the tracking information to update. I tried to speak with a supervisor and after the ridiculous hold, I was told that they would put me on a call back list. No Call was ever recieved. I then called back and what got the attention of the supervisor was when i stated that if i didnt speak with a supervisor i was making a claim through my bank. They supervisor promised that after 48 hours she would call me with tracking information and even if she couldnt get the information she would still call me back. i waited the 48 hour period and the next day after i filed a claim. my payments were made through automatic debit. i would not suggest to go through your bank because the most they can do is retrieve up to 60 days worth of payments and for those like me who have completely payed of the company its not even close to the amount of money that i payed. After i made the claim the company finally did contact me with my "tracking information and said the merchandise would now be rerouted because of the claim" I spoke to another supervisor who tried to "resolve this matter" and he made me feel like i was committing a crime and kept talking about how the company had the right to reserve the merchandise until full payment if they felt "uncomfortable". I payed ontime every first and fifteenth for an entire year. Whats uncomfortable about that! I had it fully payed off before i even made the claim. This company is full of SH** and now i am in contact in the Consumer Fairs office who assures me the FBI is involved as well as the Federal Trade Commission. They are investigating the state and federal laws this company has broken with the several hundred complaints that have been across the country. I would think that something this big would of been handled by now but i guess we can all hope for the best. Good luck to everyone and i would suggest everyone to contact there local attorney general who should be able to forward to the proper authorities. the more we have the better our chances! I am a United States Marine and I have to say this is not how our Military should be treated!

While I sympathize with those who were "taken, " when I first saw there advs (on MSNBC), I did the math ($29.95/wk X 52 weeks) and figured that the price was outlandish. I next telephoned and questioned how buying such a cheesebox would "help" anyone's credit. Finally, when I called, I feigned interest and asked the service rep if I signed up, when would they ship the machine. The woman thanked me for my intereswt and quickly hung up.

In sum, I don't understand how anyone could have fallen for such a scam and I don't understand why MSNBC continues to carry their ads.

Guaranteed Consumer Funding Terrible customer service!

I have tried contacting Cec solutions for over a week after I signed up over the phone. They are supposed to draft my checking account $99 on the 9th of Feb and I still have many questions that I was told could be answered by customer service. To date I have spent over one hour a day on the phone trying to get through to customer service. Not once have I spoken with a human being. It almost seems like a boiler room operation. A recorded message with a notification to leave a voicemail at the end and a assurance that you will be contacted twenty four hours later. This isn't happening. NO return phone calls.

Trying to sign up for the service is a breeze and you are connected to a representative in seconds. I would be glad to utilize this service I just want some questions answered by someone from the company. It is outrageous that I have not been able to get through to customer service. I have left idle threats, because I don't want money drafted from my account without these questions answered. What if I have a problem with my account, is it going to take months before I get a response. GCF makes buku money on these systems and I understand that it is a lower tiered credit program, but this is no excuse for shoddy customer service. I hate to have to do this, but this borders on obscene.

#1. What is the Navigation system and Mp3 player I will be receiving? (make, model, etc).
#2. Can I set up the payments to be taken quicker as I will be getting my income tax refund?

If I can not get those questions asked I will simply place a hold on this $99 from being withdrawn. I have yet to receive the welcome package from the company, and I refuse to do business if CEC can't resolve these simple questions. I was looking forward to this opportunity but this whole experience has really left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

@ Mrs.Watson
I am pleased to know that complaintsboard.com has helped you make the right decision by not doing business with these jokers. Now, as for my previous response that you read regarding my stance FOR GCF was meant to be sarcastic and I have absolutely NO ties or compassion for them. In fact, I HATE GCF and Duvera Financial (their sister company) with a PASSION! I have always struggled to make ends meet and I KNOW how debt can pile up from NOWHERE, which is why I HATE GCF and companies like it that take advantage of our situations. I consider them lower than PARASITES! Before I enlisted in the US Army a few years ago, they ran a Credit Check and found only ONE discrepancy for a Gym Membership I never went to. And do you know what they told me? Yes, you got it. Exactly what I said in my previous comment. They called me a thief and made me feel like sh**t. Anyway, its good to see that these complaints have reached at least ONE person and helped make the wise decision. Fight the Good Fight and Don't Give Up!

I was honestly JUST about to sign up for GCF. On the website i was gonna fill out the info etc when i decided i had more questions so i dialed the number that said call 24/7 but it never rang and after about 4 sec it just hung up and this repeated as i kept calling. I tried the customer support number but it was just a busy signal. So i searched the web and I am so THANKFUL that i was taken to this site to find all of these COMPLAINTS! I honestly can't believe that they could get away with all of this. Im assuming that they got shut down but the strange thing is the website is still intact and you can still SUPPOSEDLY order online by entering all of your info including your bank acct info. Now i am so glad that i found Complaints Board before i started entering my info but i hope there is no one else who has entered their info on the website and is a victim of them stealing your bank acct info and etc. This is why i am trying to warn someone about typing their info on the GCF website that is still up and running but has no accurate contact number. Im sure anyone would realize this strange issue like i did but there are ppl who don't read the fine print or know what they are getting themselves into (and iv'e been there) but i hope my warning can help. Everyone's negative feedback about this company has warned me and i thank all of you for putting your two cents in. And to the ppl that are standing up for this company (esp Security Warrior) how dare you say that the ppl with bad credit are the scammers! you don't even know anyone elses situation on how their bad credit even began so don't put anyone else in the category you're in for being irresponsible and ripping ppl off! I damn sure know that i would not rip ANYONE off and im sure everyone on here that has complained is not a "dead beat" and just being irresponsible and trying to rip this company off. As you have read there aren't many (2) that have had something good to say about GCF and one of them worked for them so that doesn't really count. Im sure the ratio of ppl that have had good feedback and negative feedback about this company is close to ZERO TO ALL! I pray that this company has been put to an end ( if it already hasn't) and i am a strong believer in KARMA! Good things will come to those who have been a victim with this company and i will pray that they do :)

I too have been taken by Gcf but if they think that I had 700.00 in todays hard ecomony to give them because of a scam they are crazy. I see all the complaints that are on this site an no matter what their contract says they have violated business practices. I don't intend to sit idely by and let them get away with what they have done. If there is an attorney out there willing to help people like myself get their money back from this horrible company please email me sabrina.adams88@yahoo.com I will personally lead the lawsuit against them.

@luvbug10,
You are preaching to the choir my friend. You are just another VICTIM of this nefarious "company" GCF or Guranteed Consumer Funding. Your story is EXACTLY the same as mine. I continued to pay them and jump through all of the stupid hoops and traps that they kept throwing at me, so that if they renegged on their end I would have proof in court. Needless to say I didn't get my Nintendo Wii or the MP3 Player with 500 free mp3s. The whole allure of this companies method of business is that you are to make a good faith payment for 90 days to recieve your merchandise BEFORE you finish making ALL of the payments. NOT SO! I like you and many others, was DUPED and never recieved the LAPTOP until the 11th month of the 12 month program. I got every sorry EXCUSE under the SUN from the slimeballs, ie: Dell ran out of glass, The Holidays are backed up, I didn't provide an alternative phone number, my paperwork was LOST in the mail, etc.etc...etc... The list goes ON and ON. At one point I nearly broke down in tears because I was so FRUSTRATED and UPSET with these SCAMMERS! I prayed to GOD for patience and help. If I would have run across any of these scammers in the streets...OHHHHH that would have made my YEAR! Just to grab one of these Lying sacks of sh**t by the throat...Anyway, I paid a total of $2, 563.00 for a laptop that didn't even have the NVidia Graphics Card I paid an EXTRA $500.00 FOR! Yes, I specifically paid for this upgrade because I am a hardcore gamer and digital artist who needs a very good Graphics Card to run bleeding edge software and games. Not getting that Graphics Card installed from the beginning really set me back because in case you all don't know YOU CANNOT UPGRADE A GRAPHIX CARD ON A LAPTOP LATER! There is NO WAY to upgrade a LAPTOP'S Graphics Card because it is "Integrated" on the "Motherboard" making it impossible to upgrade without replacing the "Motherboard" and soldering and unsoldering the Card, etc.. So PLEASE take my advice and just avoid these Cyber Thieves ALTOGETHER and others like them (Blue Hippo Anyone?) LOL. This was a mistake I WILL NEVER make again. Best advice, buy your laptop from Walmart or Best Buy. Or if you don't have all of the money right away, you can go to a reputable Pawn Shop near you and put a %10 Down Payment on a Laptop for Layaway. I have been buying stuff from Pawn Shops for a long time and I have yet to encounter any problems with any of the merchandise from them. Some of the bigger Pawn Shops even sell you Extended Warrenties. Pawn Shops check their merchandise thouroughly before they buy it from someone because if they don't and it doesn't work later on, they can't SELL it and they are stuck with it, losing MONEY. Okay, that's it folks. Good luck to you all and may God Bless all of you that have been ripped off. I know God will punish these people and BLESS YOU with everything you need. Just have faith and keep doing the right thing and you will see that God will hook you up with EVEN BETTER stuff than what you wanted from GCF. ;)
Cheers and God Bless ALL,
-Victor
