poor customer service
I ordered some sea food and it took them over two hours to deliver my order and the restaurant is one mile away! When my order finally arrived the driver told that it was not his fault, he said that the restaurant was full and that's why it took so long. Liar! The check on the driver GPS, which even I could see, had shown the driver lied. I have no idea what was he doing all that time, but my food was almost all ruined! I contacted GrubHub customer service and received no help from them! They issued me a $10 refund after I waited almost an hour on hold! I actually paid over $70! This whole company is a joke. I'll never order anything from them again! The lack of customer support is what disgusts me the most!

I ordered some chinese food from grubhub. Order arrived in time, but it was overcooked and smelled strange. Vegetables were rotten and I doubt that chicken was real. So I contacted the restaurant, requesting a new order and they refused. Then I called grubhub and explained the situation to their rep, but received no help! The woman on the phone said she would call me back after she contacted the restaurant. She never called me back, so I contacted the restaurant again and asked them if someone called from grubhub and was told that no one called. They just do not care! I'm extremely disappointed.
We had a great experience with Kadir. He's extremely personable and takes care of his customers. His pizza was excellent, and he even sold us some wood for our fire place!
unreliable company
There is a serious problem between GrubHub that takes money and relays the delivery orders, and the restaurants that do not receive the orders. I am a restaurant owner and I ordered some products from this company and never received what I paid for. I contacted their support and they claim they delivered the order, but it is an absolute lie, order never arrived! Do not recommend GrubHub if you are a restaurant owner. I demand a refund!

I will never ever order anything from GrubHub again! I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches, 3 coffees and 3 sausages. But I received only 1 breakfast burrito and 1 coffee! I contacted them immediately and asked about a refund as that wasn't what I ordered. Grubhub rep told that they do offer refunds, but they need some time to think about it. Think of what? Later I received a call from them and they said they could only refund me 1 breakfast sandwich. I spoke with a GrubHub manager and after much back and forth he agreed to give me a full refund. I actually didn't receive even a half of what I ordered! But in the end they changed their mind again and refunded me only 1 sandwich! Just, don't waste your money and don't order anything from these thieves!
Agree. Something similar happened to me. I had a coupon and ordered pizza through grubhub, who charged me the full (without coupon) price. When I complained they said they refunded me and that I would have to check with my credit card company since I didn't receive it. To add to their story, they gave me the dates and times of the transactions. So I checked with my cc company - they said they had never heard of a company issuing a customer credit which they refused to acknowledge.

So I was hungry for some food and didn't want to get off my lazy ### and go out in the cold to order said food, wait and pick it up. I figure I use the time to say indoors on the computer doing whatever it is I am doing and just order food via Grubhub which I have done many times before. It had been a while since I used grubhub and didn't know which email address I had currently associated with Grubhub. I tried both Yahoo and Gmail and reset password and nothing. So I called up Grubhub's customer service number and the conversation went pretty much like this: Me: I'm having trouble resetting my password Rep: Which email address do you use for Grubhub Me: Not sure I think it was Gmail or Yahoo I tried resetting the password using both accounts Rep: Did you check your Spam folder Me: Yes I did still nothing Rep: Well not much else I can do you just have to keep trying Me: There isn't anyone you can refer me to to help me with my account Rep: Hold on one second After a minute... Rep: I'm sorry there is no one that can help Me: Your telling me your company doesn't have a technical service department that deals with user accounts and passwords? Rep: No we don't. We do have a technical department but they only deal with the restaurant's Me: This department has no way to access or reset my password for me? Rep: No can not only the restaurant's Me: Can I speak to a manager please It amazes me that a company such as Grubhub doesn't even have a department that deals with user accounts/passwords? If one is having trouble related to one's account it seems Grubhub has no way to help out their customers. For a company that made $137 million in revenue in 2013 alone and probably on average $100+ million every year they can't invest in a technical service department that deals with customers? That's ridiculous. The rep admitted that there is a tech department but they only deal with the restaurant's. How about using some of those millions of dollars and creating a department that deals with customers and technical support related to their accounts instead of saying things like, "just keep trying on your end and reset the password on the website, eventually you'll get an email from us." Fck'en ridiculous! In the end I realized that I was using hotmail for my Grubhub login, but still it's ridiculous that Grubhub doesn't have a technical support department for their customers but do so for their restaurants.
bad services and slow delivery
Don’t order food from the website www.grubhub.com. We placed order and waited for 2 hours, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold and nasty. We refused to pay for the crap, which the rep delivered to us, but this jerk promised to call to the police and blah-blah. So he started to threaten us, but we wanted to get our food warm and tasty, but not this crap, which we got. The worst company ever, so avoid these ### and post comments about your experience with them.

This site is awful. I placed an order, they messed up that order and then told me there was nothing they could do about it. Then they offered to give me $5 in "grub hub dollars" to apologize for the error. He then got snippy with me at the end of our conversation. I was starving and this crappy company messed up my order, and then gave me attitude.

This website is just awful and doesn't even compare to campusfood.com.
First of all, it keeps on asking me where I am and there is no way to make a default location. If you give people the option to list more than one address, at least allow them to choose the default location.
Second, why the hell would I want the restaurant with the highest delivery cost to pop up when I use the filter? Who the hell goes out of their way to list the most expensive delivery charges first when they want to order a meal?
Third, having to scroll down a list of cuisines I want is just poor design when you can list most, if not all of them out.
Fourth, the list of restaurants that you display is dwarfed by your huge ad for yourself. I would not be on this website if I did not know about it already. I visited the damn site to look at some restaurants and order some food, not to look at a huge green arrow surrounded by useless white space.
This site is just disappointing and any of the improvements from campusfood.com are just overshadowed by the lack of attention they put in to designing this site.
Worst food delivery service ever. Ordered four separate times and every order was wrong. They gave us a refund the first three times, now they won't refund the money and they are blaming me for there lack of quality control. Never again. 11/10/2023 6:14pm They never even gave us a receipt.
Beware of driver with initials C.J. from Foothills, AZ. He basically stole my order, saw on the cameras how he drove by in front of the house but never stopped to deliver my order. Secs later received notifications of order received. Called and texted him but he never replied back. Immediately reported him and got a full refund.

I used GrubHub for my business and I wasn't paid at all and it's been over three months late. I've called several times to resolve this issue and still haven't received any money from the company.
Yesterday from 1pm to 10pm on January 3, 2023 thereI was over $200 worth of unauthorized charges to my Grubhub account
and my debit card had long since been removed. The thief who ordered it added their info. I have screenshots of the transactions too
I ordered meal for 4. The delivery was late. A large bag from La Madeline with 4 tiny side salads, nothing of original order.
Manager of La Madeline said driver did not pick up complete order. The large bag had receipt stapled to outside.
Manager said not their problem.
We SHOULD not be made to tip on anything more than the bill. I should not have to tip on a service fee and tax. The tip should only be on the food bill. Hell I don't know if the food will be right or the driver on time. I am sending a meal as a birthday present so it is not as if I can tip cash when the driver arrives.
On September 14th, someone hacked my account and ordered close to $200 of food. I immediately brought it to GrubHubs attention and I’ve been waiting over two weeks for them to refund my money. I’ve been chatting, emailing and calling every day for two weeks now and they have offered no solution!
I orderd food from Grubhud at 1:53. But diver never come and i sent message to customer care they said they only can give 50% back which is not fair. I wait my lunch for 3 hours this is how grubhub treat customers?
