GrubHub order

I called to place an order with KFC literally 5mins down the road. Place order@545pm was told on line my order would be delivered at 7:30pm. Called customer service 4xs was told that my order that was supposed to be delivered @730pm would arrive @840pm So when I called a 4th time they told me my order was on the way & would be delivered in 10mins so when the driver arrived I said freaking 3.5 hours & then drops my dinner on the ground & walks away. Very unexpected very unprofessional & very rude. I've worked customer service not once have I ever treated any of my customers with disrespect. I'll never ever use Grubhub again. The driver didn't even apologize about my order being late. One very unhappy customer... plus no phone call was made from the driver... 😡😡😡😡😡😡

GrubHub food delivery

I order thru grubhub on sunday 10/20/19 from guapo restaurant and left instructions for the driver to come thru my front gate and walk to the front then call me and I will come down. I checked grubhub site and it stated that my orde was delivered. I tried contacting the driver listed on the site and call kept going to voice mail I left a message and no one called me back. I chatted with customer service and they stated that the driver tried to contact me and that customer service sent me an e-mail. Well neither of the the two happened. I had my sister call me to make sure my phone was working and her call came thru with no problems.

GrubHub delivery driver

After recently ordering from KFC in Sandy, UT our driver called me asking me where the apartment was (not a problem) but when I explained there are only a couple buildings and the number was on the outside of the building he said "and you didn't even tip me? I could just drop your food off in the dirt and leave" I politely said "let me get me shoes on and come find you" after going outside I let him know I would have been tipping in cash but due to his rude behavior I would not do so and he proceeded to yell and scream profanities at me before turning on his brights, driving at me then turning away the last moment he had. I've never seen attitude like this ever. This man should not be allowed to come to peoples doors when he acts like this. GrubHub delivery

Driver arrived talking on the phone, shoved the food in my hand and walked away. Without the ordered drinks. I had to chase him to his car to ask about the drinks, and he lied about me not ordering drinks. After showing him the receipt, he blamed the restaurant! The ordertaker told me the truth, that he never ordered them and was on the phone the whole time there too. Then when I tried to report this, pressing the help button in their [censored]ty app did nothing! Definitely not letting this garbage go and not stopping until the tip is refunded.

GrubHub cold food, missing food and missing refund

Ordered food from grub hub it arrived cold AND was missing food said I would be refunded my money but instead the charge disappeared and never got the refund. They claim that they refunded my money and that my complaint is not with them it's with my bank. Another time I ordered I paid extra for the food to be a certain way again it came cold and was missing special order. NEVER WILL I ORDER WITH GRUB HUB AGAIN!

GrubHub employees

Half of the employees can barely speak english. Not only that they have no idea what they are doing when delivering in an apartment complex and they never learn. I have had some of the same drivers for the last year and they still cannot look at the building numbers. Some have even called me and made me come find them to get my food. Grubhub needs to do a better job screening employees. By the time the drivers find my place the food is cold.

Also, in response to your allegation that “half the employees don’t even speak english” I feel compelled point out the awkwardness of your own sentence structure and am wondering on what basis you feel qualified to judge the intelligence of others?

Perhaps if you put explicit instructions as to your building’s location it would help, i.e. “Drive in the main gate of woodland Commons located on Route 52 (opposite the Sunoco station). Turn left at the first stop sign and we are the blue colonial with the black Jeep Grand Cherokee in the driveway. We will leave the lights on so you make it up the walkway safely”. I am a driver and speak English quite well, and yet what might be obvious to residents who have the advantage of living in a place might not be to someone on a time crunch and/or in the dark and/or in a completely new area.

GrubHub grubhub review - grubhub has the worst customer service!

Grubhub had a glitch in their system and sent our food to our old work address, even though that address was no longer in our profile.

After two phone calls to them, and 60 wasted minutes of being placed on hold, getting passed around to 4 different people I was finally offered a refund. Even though each of the representatives understood that it was Grubhub's fault, they made me waste an hour of my time to get my money back.

Worst customer service ever!

GrubHub food delivery

Date was Oct 14, 2019. #[protected]-7845477 When I noticed my order had not shown up, it said it had been delivered. I attempted to use the chat multiple times and never could get through. Then I received several texts that the order was on its way.When I went downstairs there was no one there. Left a text and got no reply. Then attempted to send an email on the website numerous times and it would not go through. Called the GrubHub number received a discount for a future order and so I have paid money and have no food. Desirable solution for multiple attempts on chat and multiple attempts to send email and really wanted my food since it had been a hard day. Definitely do not want to order again in light of the number of attempts to rectify the situation. Jean Harris

GrubHub various service failures

In the past 24hrs, I've placed 3 orders. One order didn't arrive and was canceled, the other order's arrival time was changed multiple times, and the final order's food was incorrect.

I am a frequent patron of Grubhub. Over the past month, service has been an ongoing issue. On each occasion, I contact customer service who issues a credit and forwards the issue to an internal team for review but I'm not seeing any form of improvement. Service continues to be subpar and customer service continues to follow a resolution script which does little to inspire confidence of an improvement with service. I've stopped contacting customer service over "little" things like missing items, food arriving cold, food left on my porch instead of knocking on the door, etc. My standards have lowered to: thank gosh the food arrived. Is this how I should feel?

Fix your internal issues and better train your customer service team!

GrubHub chao krung food delivery failure

I ordered 2 dishes for delivery, GrubHub and the restaurant had instructions on how to enter the apartment block and deliver the food to the correct apartment.
The Driver failed to enter the delivery code provided in order to access the flats, GrubHub claim to have emailed and called the number provided however, i received no emails or phone calls at the time of delivery.
I have raised this issue twice with customer service officials and both representatives were extremely unhelpful at providing me with an acceptable solutions.
Due to no food being delivered for this order i would like a full refund for the order as the fault to the food not being delivered does NOT lie with me, and is the fault of the delivery driver and GrubHub.

GrubHub not receiving my food

Today I ordered from victory soul food, located on warren avenue in detroit, they never delivered my order... The total was $27.52. The money has been taken off my card, and I would like a refund please. Jack jordan 8539 terry st., detroit, michigan 48228... Thank you. It was at 11:18pm that I placed the order and scheduled for delivery by 12:15... Still no order. Thanks in advance for looking into this matter.

GrubHub grubhub

I ordered food at 5pm did my credit card everything was accepted and submitted. 6:29pm said food was delivered, IT WAS NOT!. I clicked on the icon and it said my delivery was canceled, this was 45 minutes later. I called and asked to speak with corporate, it was a young boy who yelled over my husband and never let him talk. NEEDLESS TO SAY 4 HRS LATER STILL NO FOOD, AND NO HELP OR EXPLANATION! GOING TO OUR BANK TOMORROW TO GET A NEW ACCOUNT

GrubHub order not received, payment not refunded and poor customer service

I ordered food from grubhub on 2nd October 2019 (#[protected]-7705036) at around 5:00 PM EST, the rider who got the order first of all did not knock on the door or ring the bell, he tried calling me but due to network issue i could not get the call, and when i tried calling back he did not pick up the call neither replied to my messages, i even went out of the house but he ignored me and kept doing something on his phone and left after 5 minutes, my grubhub app shows order delivered, this is insane, the food was not delivered to me and i was starving ..you guys have spent a lot of money in making this business grow but why dont you spend little on your feature to show food taken back if not delivered rather showing false status . Also food does not go back to restaurant, so that i can pick it from there, so where does it go does the rider take that ? I paid for the food and i did not even get it . Riders name was shane ( 317-626-3923), very poor service, on top of that i called grubhub customer care he refused to refund my money and said i can offer you 50% on next offer, i dont need your discount, this was the worst experience, you have lost a customer and i will ask 10 others to avoid ordering from you guys .

GrubHub food delivery/cafe east 3

I ordered from Cafe East 3 and my food never came, they just kept extending the time.. 30 minutes turn into and hour, and that turned into an hour and a half.. I called the restaurant and the lady said the driver was on his way. next thing I know they're closed and my order still hasnt came. so in that case I would like a full refund for this transaction..

GrubHub order "delivered" faster than you can drive from the restaurant!

Today, at 4:01, I placed and order through GrubHub for P.F. Chang's in Columbia, MD. At 4:10, it said it was delivered. It was not, obviously, since it's at least a 15 minute drive from the restaraunt to my house.
I contacted their customer service and they said they "couldn't get ahold of the delivery driver" and refunded my money (in 5 to 10 days). Later, when I realized the impossibility of any delivery, I contacted them again, and they didn't seem to care that it was a fraudulent transaction. I got my money back and that's all that should matter. Nope. So here I am. What a scam.

GrubHub customer service/ refund

The rice which made up over 50% of my meal was missing. They refunded me the price of a side of rice which was less than half of what the meal gives. Unsatisfactory customer services. Will not be using grubhub again, at least other food delivery services will refund you the price of the meal instead of a lesser item. They blocked me from leaving a review about the order after contacting support. I find this extremely shady. I have submitted a request to have my account closed. The first attempts to the chat agent to close my account dropped.

GrubHub papa's pizza

Ordered from Papas pizza on Friday. A man called and said he was stuck behind a train, so he would be a little late, but he would be there as soon as he could. I waited firever and my food never arrived, I tried contacting him back, but he never answered back. Food never came. Tried to tell Grubhub about this matter to see if they could offer resolution. They gave me 20% off my next order. I spent over $40 of food with a nice tip for the driver who never showed. All I get is 20% off the next order? Despicable.

GrubHub order processing

Charged for order not approved, used saved information to process. Called to alert of mistake they would not listen to me and basically called me a liar. Then said contact credit card.

Always late delivery, typically 30-45 minutes late with no explanation. You are forced into giving at least 18%tip before you receive service so not merit based. Don't always bring plates etc

Customer service personnel are not knowledgeable and don't listen to issue. Ask same questions several times demonstrating
They are not listening and simply reading from a script, can't solve any issues.

I will never use again. And will spread news.

GrubHub customer service...

For 3 of the past 4 nights, my wife's cell phone has rung because of grubhub drivers calling to say that the order has been delivered... At 1:00 or 2:00 am... They have woken us from a deep sleep and it takes hours to get back there.

Drivers are rude, but grubhub intergalatic customer support is even worse. Lot's of ivy league types in management of the firm but because some (one) customer mistyped their cell phone number and entered my wife's number, we have been losing sleep, night after night. Customer support is useless. Won't delete the account, won't let me know the address or email of the offending orderer. We are at our wit's end.

I've asked for the supervisor's cell phone number so I can call him in the middle of the night when we get calls in error. For security purposes he can't give me his number and fails to see the irony of the situation. Told me he was the highest person with whom I could speak until I asked him to simply delete the offending account. Then he told me he had to speak to his supervisor.

Grubhub is poorly managed, completely customer insensitive. They stink! I've wasted hours on trying to get this resolved... Thinking about filing an harassment suit with the local police.

GrubHub non delivery and then food items given to other parties and declining to fulfill order

This evening I ordered from grubhub from Willies restaurant.
One hour and 15 minutes later 312-273-6718 called to say the restaurant could not complete order.
I ordered from BJ's through grubhub then, but also called the Willies manager, Chris, who said they were not busy and often had this problem with grubhub.
My order from BJ's arrived incomplete because the driver gave part of my order to another party.
Amanda, the manager at BJ's offfered to remake that part of the order and SHE called grubhub but they refused to go to get the missing order item and refused a refund.
I then called grubhub customer service and spoke to Mora, then Victor then Emily.
Emily told me it was there policy not to send a driver back even though it was driver error and the ITEM would be refunded 'as soon as your banking institution processes'. She said grubhub cound not refund the order itself.
So I have sent a complaint to the BBB forum for San Antonio and will be reveiwing on YELP.
And of course will NOT be doing business with grubhub again. Who would with that kind of service? And dismal customer service policies for bad service?
I will be more than vocal sharing my opinion of grubhub with my friends and coworkers.
