GrubHub carvel's to be delivered by grubhub

My complaint is with GrubHub,
I ordered something from Carvel's on Forest Ave. at 7:00pm. I live on Victory blvd (10 minutes away). on my cell it said it would take 25 to 35 minutes.
I didn't receive the delivery until 9:10pm by Nalin.
I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment bldg, always received deliveries at my apartment front door.
Nalin left my delivery at the doorman and took off.

This is the second time this happened, apparently you people are not as reliable as advertised. I don't think I'll be ordering from you ever again and will also let my friends know about this.

GrubHub lack of service and no customer follow-up

ordered food through grub hub with a delivery time of 5:35 to 5:45pm Tuesday Dec 3rd 2019. Follow-up with call resturant at 5:45pm they stated order was being prefpared andf should be delivered by 5:55pm Called Resturant at 6:20pm and was told Grubhub had just pick up at 6:10pm. The resturant said driver was on Bicycle. If that was true we live one mile uphill and on a private dark road. No way I believe that is possible.

We called Customer service (grbhub) and was on hold for 25 minutes. When person answered, we discussed with him the problem and the order, in theory, was cancelled. It clearly appears the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Poor customer service at best. No follow-up on delayed delivery. We will not be using your service, again.

GrubHub driver parking in wrong driveway & attitude

My neighbor at 29W470 Hawthorne Lane, Warrenville, IL ordered a delivery. The driver parked in our drive at 29W468. At the same time, we were expecting a visit from the home healthcare nurse for my father. My dad happened to notice the strange car in the drive and made the comment "Who is that parking in the drive?"

I walked out and asked the delivery guy if I could help him with something. His response was "No, I am just making a delivery over here and parked in your driveway" and pointed to the neighbor.

I replied "Out drive is not for public parking and we are expecting medical care for my dad to be here".

The delivery guy replied "Don't you have anything better to do than to look and see who is parking in your drive?" "Look like you little dog needs your attention".

Rude and Inconsiderate behavior by your employees/contractors should not be tolerated as it casts a bad image on GrubHub.

GrubHub food delivery

I waited for about 30minutes after the delivery deadline. Staff from GrunHub claimed I didn't answer the calls and the driver waited outside for ten minutes. However, I am quite sure I didn't receive any calls! I checked my phone call history and I am now very upset by their response.

I am requesting a refund.

GrubHub driver

I order food it come 45 mins later cold..tell the driver not to pull in my driveway cause i needed to pull my car in and me and this [censored] [censored] dude goin back and forth with words then he threatens me about pullin out his gun..now im pissed...it took everything in me not to pull my gun out and stick it in his mouth...he needs to be fired..asap...so watch out ..he drives a black Mercedes benz tinted windows 4door..greensboro nc...

GrubHub food delivery service

I have paid for more than one order and didn't receive the order. Not only were the drivers not able to be reached. I got no confirmation call from none of them. I was charged for food I never received. Your rotten drivers that night didn't deserve a tip except the tip of my finger. 🖕🏾For Krispy Krunchy Chicken, Hooters where I spoke to the manager. Also at the Red Room Inn also for Wings and Things. That's just lousy customer service. Your worker in customer service claim that couldn't do anything because the address was wrong. I had a order with the correct order as well. You sent out in competent drivers lousy customer service agents as well I will push for your business to be shut down and I would rather deal Doordash. They never seem to miss the mark on the order!

GrubHub grubhub

On NOV 7th @ about 8PM, I ordered food from a local restaurant on my MACBook - & saw "Your order has been received" / "PICK UP IN 30 mins", this is your ORDER # [protected], "you will receive an email shortly"

When I got to the restaurant 30 mins later - they had NOT received my order

When I went to show them my order number (on the email), this is what I saw IN TINY TINY PRINT:

Grub hub is confirming your order with Five Buroughs for takeout scheduled for TOMORROW, Nov 8 10:30. Keep your phone handy, we'll be in touch for issues

I call (877) 783-5777 & message says 3 mins wait. 10 mins later, I am able to cancel the order.

THANK GOODNESS I DID NOT PAY WITH CREDIT CARD

This is only the 2nd time I have tried Grub Hub & AGAIN I had troubles with my order - last year I ordered 2 things from a restaurant & a delivery person brought me a family of 5 meal, 3 bags & I insisted it wasn't mine...was told "not my problem, call restaurant"

I understand that MANY people are VERY happy with this system, but I will NOT be using online ordering via grub hub (YELP) again

OF NOTE, I stayed on the phone for the survey & was not given any time to explain & want to say that the woman (in Mexico) who answered the phone could not have been nicer or more patient & polite (though I don't think she completely understood what happened & why I was so frustrated).

SOME KIND OF DISCONNECT - I sure hope it can be fixed !

GrubHub order from october 30 2019. monica askins 4115 blue spring rd huntsville al 35810

I filled out everything for my order even writing in the extra instructions for the driver to bring me lots of mild sauce. I even called to make sure my message was read before the driver picked up my food. Then I got a message my food would be late. Not only was it 30 minutes late it was stone cold. I could not eat it. I thought grubhub was better

GrubHub food not delivered and not being refunded

I ordered Grubhub, and after an hour and a half no food. I checked, and my order on the Grubhub app was marked as delivered. After I called and was hung up on, I was very frustrated and angry. When I finally talked to one of their supposedly helpful representatives, he refused to refund my money! So, I got no dinner, but had to pay for a meal I did not eat! Never using Grubhub again!

GrubHub delivery (non delivery)

I ordered dinner at approx 8:30 and despite 2 calls to the restaurant and multiple calls to GrubHub by 11:30 pm my family still had no dinner. 3 hours later! We were lied to twice that a driver was on the way and both times the restaurant confirmed no one ever showed up. This is the worst service ever. No food and we all went to bed hungry. I hate Grub Hub!

GrubHub delivery drivers/service

my order has been stolen by a delivery driver on more than one occasion. Both times the driver said the food was delivered, or they were unable to contact me. However, they never made an attempt to deliver the food. They just took my order for themselves. Grubhub attempted to blame me for 'not being available', and then offered me 50% off my next order, which is unacceptable. Why should i have to pay for someone else's dinner? Poor customer service, unreliable drivers.

GrubHub grubhub delivery

I ordered dinner for my family and didn't receive it in almost 2 hours. I called Grubhub support and the recording said if calling about the status of a delivery to call the restAurant. I did that and was told the driver picked up the food but that they would call customer service at Grubhub on my behalf. I received a call about 15 minutes later and was told the driver didn't pick up the order. I expressed my displeasure and was told my options were a refund or have a new driver come out. I asked for a manager who basically gave me the same option. I asked for the food to be delivered at no charge and was told that wasn't possible. This is unacceptable customer service. How can there not be a mechanism to correct the issue proactively? Unreal. I am so incredibly annoyed.

GrubHub restaurant closed but they took my order...

Yesterday I order through the app and was told that the restaurant was preparing my order. I waited the hour it was supposed to take and then called the restaurant myself to check on it. No one picked up, they were obviously closed. I chatted on the app and asked why it would say that the restaurant got my order and was preparing it and how its been way over an hour and now we wouldn't be able to get lunch. Instead of at the very least offering a coupon, the rep just wrote back, sorry we will refund and then left the chat without giving me a chance to respond.

GrubHub food deli every service that does not provide food?!!?! and steals your money

Grubhub just robbed me. As a new grubhub customer, I thought grubhub only delivered, like so many other platforms. I placed my order for burgerurway at 9:45p on Oct 28 2019. Then it popped up that my order will be ready in 25 mins. I quickly went through the app and tried to cancel it and was unable to, called the store (354 myrtle ave Brooklyn) and was told call grubhub, finally I called grubhub and informed them of the problem and was told they would call the store and see if they can deliver. I said ok if they can deliver fine if not please cancel. I was then told that the store would be keeping my money if they're unable to deliver and I'm unable to pickup. His exact words were "well the restaurant has to get paid" . When grubhub called me back I was then told the only thing that can be done was a 20% coupon on my next order and to continue having a good day. Currently I'm sitting here hungry and almost $20 poorer...sounds like I'm continuing to have a good day right.

GrubHub unauthorized credit card charges

I ordered from Potbelly on October 21st, and had ordered a sandwich plus 2 bowls of soup. The driver calls me prior to delivery to tell me that the store was out of the soup and I wouldn't be charged for it. Fast forward to today, I have been charged for all 3 meals and upon speaking to customer service was told that there is nothing that they can do for me. I won't be using them again.

GrubHub non delivery of food order

Grubhub driver marked my family's order delivered without actually driving to the house and delivering. End result from Grubhub was a 50% off promo code coupon for a future delivery within 30 days. I was shocked to learn this is a trending situation for consumers while reviewing customer complaints on the Better Business Bureaus site. They give Grubhub a C minus rating and there have been nearly 300 complaints year to date, 2019 in Oct. I submitted a Federal Trade Commission complaint, as well. This was so that authorities can be made aware drivers are keeping people's food. I plan to also submit a local police report. Grubhub could do better for their customers. They can install tracking devices on the drivers cars to enforce servicing occurs. A full refund is what the outcome should have been. Thus my family is very disappointed with their operating model. Customer service also got in touch with our driver a few times after we did, however that did not result in receiving what was paid for. For unethical drivers this is a very good deal for them as if they get to keep many peoples food weekly, they likely receive better perks than any of us working jobs that enforce ethical conduct. I've patronized Grubhub for over a few years and this is my first awful experience. As consumers we need to advocate if shady situations are occurring out in the servicing space. Thus adding my family's voice as another complaint in the hopes others don't get defrauded.

Additionally, we receive absolutely NO perks as we are independent contractors. We use our own vehicles, buy our own gas with the exception of the Grub Hub paying for mileage from the restaurant out to the customer. One way. We are subject to weather, traffic, the speed of the restaurant and the jobs that Grub Hub sends us. If we are delivering an order far from your chosen restaurant and are notified of your order we race there to get it and get it to you hot. This is not always possible. I drive 9+ hours a day, putting miles on my car, wear on my tires and taking my life in my hands trying to make my customers happy. I can’t always do that but it’s not from lack of trying. While I can understand your annoyance at not receiving your order I find your complete lack of empathy and overwhelming narcissism deplorable. It is with this in mind that I express the following opinion: Buy locally grown, organic food and make healthy meals for your allergic child at home. You have no idea that any restaurant will take the care that you will and should not foist your responsibilities off on other people as easily as you do your vitriol. If you can’t plan ahead for allergen-free meals you have no business criticizing drivers who may have circumstances completely out of their control make them either late or unable to complete your order.

I am a driver and can assure you that I would never eat the unhealthy swill that I deliver in quantity to your most illustrious and judgemental lordships. I also have lived and worked locally for 30 years and work tirelessly to try to get you your food on time, however we are not always able to appear magically at your chosen restaurant and have to deal with traffic ensnarlments brought about by overdevelopment, bad planning and just plain greed on the part of both government and the people. However I am sure none of this applies to you. You have proven your case if food theft beyond a shadow of a doubt. Let them eat cake! Should be your mantra.

GrubHub delivery

We ordered from a local restaurant at 8:00 p.m. Our order has yet to be picked up much less delivered. I called the restaurant and asked them to pull our order and put it off aside so my husband could go pick it up. The worst part is that my grandmother who has just had knee replacement surgery and has been waiting for her food for over 2 hours now🤬🤬🤬

GrubHub non-delivery

Grub reported an order delivered @ 1:18PM today but there had been no delivery due to an address discrepancy. What is most repulsive @ Grub is their complete lack of effort to resolve the situation. They claimed that 2 phone calls had been made to me at specific times yet my Caller ID shows these calls were not received. A call did come in @ diff time from another number but this number could not be called back. They claimed they tried to reach the driver to re-deliver but he did not pick up his phone. They offered a promo code in lieu of a refund but since we will be ordering from DoorDash exclusively now, no need for that lol. The volume of complaints tells anyone all they need to know @ Grub, thanks for letting me vent mine!

GrubHub Food order never received and no refund given. Very poor customer service

I would give -5 stars if that was an option. We spend $115 today and got ZERO food and so far ZERO refund. The driver was apparently lost, but would not answer our calls for help getting to us. Grubhub said he attempted to deliver twice and was therefore allowed to dispose of our food. I sure hope he enjoyed our 6 Meals. We, nor anyone in our 600 person corporate office of a major world wide company will be using Grubhub again. Sorry customer service. Communicating with your customers is 90% of what you do, or what you should be doing.

GrubHub All of it!

Grubhub is too expensive to have so many issues. The biggest one is the inconsiderate way they keep you I'm the dark. Order my food from taco bell at 11:07. Delivery was delayed to 12:15 and at 12:20 I tried to reach out to the customer chat where there was no helping options, had to google the actual number as it is not displayed clearly on the websites and after being put on hold and 2 customer service people later I still ended up with no food and a credit I'll probably never use after this. Very disappointed in grubhub and taco bell who supposedly cancelled the order do to a lack of ingredient (singular) ORDER:3 Potato tacos, 3 potato grillers, and 2 bean and cheese burritos.

I received the order and I’m going to pick it up on the way it customer text me and tell me to hurry up so I stopped and call support to have these order reassigned to somebody else but unfortunately these kids at Grub Hub driver support DSG too many questions and he said I don’t want it to serve this customer who ready have in mind your mess up my day no the customer keep texting me about the order and I am route and everything and so it end up that he was right and it was wrong that’s according to the Grub Hub and their unprofessional kids are working the desk and they don’t even have a phone number that they answer properly so my work getting jeopardized and I lost my job for now that’s really unfair and someone to look into this because how Grub Hub treats in the driver just accordion of stupid customer of days

I am a driver will Grub Hub I received an order I want to pick it up on the way to arbys Customer text me to hurry up so I told him if I have to hurry up why they don’t get it themselves So to avoid all trouble I called Grub Hub support to cancel the order but they have unprofessional kids working the system and it gets even worse and creating the conflict between the customer and driver and the damn GrubHub doesn’t even have a direct line to solve the problem so YOu be basically Lost your mind and I lost my job already with them but think I’m going to go further suing them because they just close my accounts pause it For investigation and they know clearly that’s dead stupid customer caused the entire problem but for the workers who work for Grub Hub so they don’t know any better just to make things worse
