GrubHub bad service orders not delivered on time or at all

I have order from grubhub for years and service has gotten to the point of i no longer want to use grubhub. on the most recent order i set it for a 11:30 Delivery time i get a text at 11:07 that says your food should be delivered between 11:30-11:40 great. at 11:53 i get another text that says my food is on the way and will arrive between 11:55-12:05. 12:07 still no food chart with grubhub and told food will be there by 12:29. 12:20 get another text that says just spoke with the restaurant and your order will be there are 12:36. I Called the restaurant at 12:21 and was told the driver left 15 min ago with my order the restaurant is 8 mins from my address. still no food by 12:37
when i called grubhub they said the could not get me my order and had to refund the order

this is not the 1st time food has been late and when you call grub hub they just say there is nothing they can do this is not good costumer care at all and drivers need to have phones and cars that work
I am at the point not to order from grubhub any more

Doordash, eatstreet, uber eats, postmates i guess will get the $$ if grubhub cant get the job done.

GrubHub a block on ordering

They blocked me forever without telling me they said it was my conduct i donot understand they said i complain to much pn ordersvon a few orders i never recvd items i ordered they substituted and never told me it was not eveey order either i wrker hung up on me and called back did not day he was sorry they told me to order from other sites whoch i never have a problm i pd by credict.
card and they thought it was suspicious i had my card for 15 yrs never had a problm could you get back to me on this someone i no told me they will never order frm them again my ph number is [protected] my gmail is [protected]@gmail.com. some of the wkrs and supervisors. You cannot understand them they are very rude

GrubHub Food delivery

I was told by Atlas Pizza in Portland, Oregon that the only way I can get food delivered is through GrubHub. I went to GrubHub web site and it said that if I create an account, I would get $10 off the first order. I did so, placed an order, and $10 off did not appear. I entered a chat with their support, and was treated rudely, and the representative typed that I had to have a code, and there will not be any discount without a code. I was told that the code came in an e-mail when I opened the account. No such e-mail came. Then the representative just disconnected while I was typing. The rudeness was astonishing. How can one be so rude in a chat? Well, GrunHub can.

GrubHub cancelled order

I ordered and paid for my food. Waited and hour to get a notice saying my order was cancelled and they'd refund me 5-10 days. What an inconvenience. To have to wait an hour and be charged to then be cancelled and have to go drive and get food now. I thought Grubhub would be meant for moments when you get out of work and want some food delivered to you. Make it easier not harder. Then was told by a chat rep that I can just go ahead a reorder. Hello my order was 40 dollars now I have to replace and re wait again?

GrubHub deceptive practices

Terrible and DECEPTIVE
Terrible! Pop up window offered $7 off for new customers & after sign up there was no $7 off. I chatted with 5 different customer reps: Jose told me "no screenshot, no discount" after I explained it was a POP UP. After I managed to reload & get it, they were unable to receive the dang screenshot. Celeste was next. She was a supervisor & had me go over every detail to basically waste my time & DECEIVE ME! She told me to order and she would apply the discount. Then she emailed saying she wasn't going to apply the discount. After i emailed her back threatening to write a bad review and file a complaint I got a call from 312-273-6718 saying that Rosati's was "too busy" and my order was cancelled. I called the Rosati's location and found out Grub Hub was lying! This company belongs in the graveyard.

GrubHub delivery

I placed an order at 10:50am. It is 12:30 and still no order. I called the resturant and asked about it. They said the driver never showed. I find this completely unacceptable. I am in a service industry. If I didnt do my job, I would be fireed. Not that I expect anyone to lose thier job over this. But I do think that there should be some accountablity. I may not use GrubHub again. There are tons of other delivery serivices out there. I ordered from R&R Poke. They are great. They even called me back to apologize. My email is [protected]@gmail.com. GrubHub food missing upon delivery

The driver delivered only half the order. I asked him if everything was there before he drive away and he said yes of course it is. Well, it was not. I had to call the restaurant and did verify that it was there . I then had to wait for another delivery from the actual restaurant . This was a major loss of time for me in my office. Please refund my money .

GrubHub customer service

Grubhub / promise to replace incorrect and bad meal then didn't.

I ordered kfc the order was wrong and I complained same day I was promised a replacement meal and Grubhub reps would not honor replacement because they "claimed I should have had order number and I had the complete order in my app but there was not an order number they "claimed they. Did not see it and reneged and I want my order replaced ! I spent an hour on the phone with 2 inflexible hard to understand because of their accents but luckily I speak Spanish and they were Rude and u list $37.77

Now tonight 7/2 I was hung up on AGAIN BY A WOMAN CUSTOMER REP AND SHE WAS NO HELP AND JUST PLAIN DUMB. I had to repeat everything 5 times to her and she even made me call the store where I ordered the food and she said she found the receipt I already provided and the pics of the bad sandwich and then she HUNG UP ON ME!

GrubHub reckless driver

I was just at Twisters in Albuquerque NM, 87114, a little before 7pm on Thursday June 27. I was pulling in to use the drive up window when a car backing up, way to fast, came inches from hitting me, had I not slammed on the brakes I would have been hit. I saw no back up lights on the car. As I preceded to the window I was told that the woman driving was a grub hub driver and that she had not been very pleasant to the restaurant employees as well. I'm just wondering how this works ad far as insurance and responsibility for a very reckless employee.

GrubHub kfc

I ordered my food at 12:35 PM today. My food was delayed several times (no big deal I've done delivery before so I understand). The second to last ETA said between 1:55 and 2:05, so when my order was still showing at the restaurant I called the Hotline number. The "operator" said my driver was at the restaurant and my food would be there shortly. When my food arrived it was after 2:35. I only stay 5 minutes from the restaurant, but that's not my issue. My order had items left off AGAIN! I ordered 4 chicken breasts from KFC, but I only received 1! The other part of my order was fine and hot, but after waiting 2 hours very patiently I at least wanted my order correct!

GrubHub breakfast delivery

Hi I am a regular customer of Grub Hub. Last Sunday the 9th, I but in an order for breakfast which I had ordered from before and it WAS GREAT. This last Sunday, the delivery was over 20 minutes late. I went outside to the street to get the order and I wanted to say something regarding the late delivery time. The man delivered was LARGE black man that I was scared to confront. I took the bag from him as he said God Bless you, while laughing hysterically at me.

Now with the food inside and the family waiting, everything was ice cold, I ended up putting it in the microwave- which while doing I thought, :What was the point of ordering this food."

I have lost all confidence in Grub Hub and wasted $30.00 in paying for COLD food that I was humiliated in ordering.

GrubHub no delivery

I ordered from GrubHub for the first time today. Mind you, I also drive for GrubHub and doordash, so I know how these companies are supposed to work, and how long it takes to get from one place to another in my area. I've been doing it long enough that I know my area like the back of my hand.
So today I order my lunch from a restaurant 10-15 minutes from the office I'm in. I get a text at 12:37 stating my order has been picked up and will be delivered between 12:55 and 1:05. I know they usually extend the delivery time I'm case of a detour or traffic issue, that's fine. At 12:40, I was outside the office for 5 minutes. When I went back in, I had a text from GrubHub about "we tried to reach you but your phone isn't working. Please call us. " So I call. When I give my name, first, he tells me he doesn't show any orders for me. I reiterate that I'm a customer. He says "I have you in our system as a driver." Well, yeah, can't I be both a driver and a customer? So he looks up my customer account. Tells me the driver was at my location and couldn't find me, so the order was marked as delivered and the driver left. How is this possible? Number 1, there was no way the driver got there that quickly. 2, I WAS OUTSIDE THE DOOR WHEN HE SUPPOSEDLY GOT THERE. even if I hadn't been, there are only 4 people in the office, common sense said one of us would have seen him. So he took my $20 order, and I still got charged. So, thanks, GrubHub, for losing me as a customer AND a driver, because I WILL NOT work for a company who tolerates this kind of bulls**t. I would never steal someone's food that they had to work hard to pay for. The only reason I used them was doordash was down and I was so hungry my stomach was eating itself. A**hole got a 20% tip from me, too.
Then they had the nerve to send me a text wanting to know how my food was. Ugh. NEVER AGAIN.

GrubHub worst customer experience!

I've also sent this email from my official email address ([protected]@deserve.com) aso that whoever is reading this email has one less work to do to check my credentials. Apparently customer service at grubhub doesn't work or no one knows product... Its been 3 weeks I have been calling grubhub to fix this issue.

I'm an employee of Deserve, a company who uses grubhub services every friday for every employee. The company offers $18 worth free lunch for every employee. Every-time I log in to my account using deserve email address, it shows me the listed restaurants that company will be ordering from on Friday, but at the checkout its asks for my credit card information. We have been trying to fix this issue since 3 weeks but have gotten no luck. Can someone please FIX this issue?

I really do not want to spend another hour on friday to place an order on phone when i cant see the menu and end ordering something i end up not eating it.

GrubHub sign up impossible

very difucult foe firt time customer. put credit cars in multiple times.
had to call customer servixe had to set up account passwords disn't work.
wheni finally got log in ( which i should not have to do) few places in area.

i had to call customer swrvice set up was difficult, very unfriendly service,
as a firt btime customer, i was turned off by thee dificulty of seting up an account. I put in credir card info multiple times, didn't knoe i eeded an accoumt Had to call.

GrubHub poor customer service

I did not receive my food nor did I get a refund. Instead, they offered a b.s. discount on next meal. I couldn't understand how or why they just wouldn't give an refund, but I came to the conclusion that grub hub cares little for customer service and have failed to establish a standard of morale for drivers.

I tried to deactivate account but could not, so I just removed my payment information. On principle, I will never order from them again.

GrubHub order never received

on 5-3-19 at 11:41 am I placed my order for Steak and Shake which I received notice at 11:55am that my order is to be delivered between 12:10-12:20. at 12;08 I received another text stating my order was on its way and will arrive between 12:20-12:30 at 12:20 I received a text saying they were attempting to deliver my order but cant reach me. I immediately called at 12:23 I was on the phone for exactly 29 min and 40 sec before hanging up. This is unacceptable.

First time order with GrubHub. I placed an order, received a code and $10.00 was to automatically be discounted for first order. That didn't happen. Customer service stated it was because there was another account set up...but that account didn't show that any orders had ever been placed.

The food arrived cold.

The $10.00 first time order discount is a SCAM. I will be reporting this unethical business to the Better Business Bureau.

After dealing with two customer service agents who weren't any help, a manager called me. He researched my account and verified that the order I placed was indeed my very first Grubhub order. He credited $10.00 back to my credit card and credited my account with another $10.00 certificate in the event that I use their service again. I am satisfied with this outcome. Thank you.

GrubHub unethical behavior; service problem

We ordered today 10pm. We have been waiting for 2 hours. We call the restaurant, they already prepare the food, and wait for the drivers. Grubhub keeps delaying our order and texting us the food is coming. Finally we talk to customer service. At first, Grubhub said they did not assign any drivers. Then they cancel our food, and told us the food is not ready. When we mentioned we asked restaurant and the food is ready, they end our chat window. Terrible company.

GrubHub order

I ordered from GrubHub on 04/17/2019 at 6:36 PM. I received a text that my order would arrive between 7:05 PM and 7:15 PM. Then, I received a second text saying order was delayed to arrive between 7:25 PM and 7:35 PM. When I received the third text saying it would arrived between 7:45 PM and 7:55 PM, I called to cancel my order. I was told by Daniel that I could not cancel my order as it was 7:20 PM and that the first text said that it would arrive at 7:25 PM. I told him that was not correct, and that it was to originally arrive between 7:05 PM and 7:15 PM. He argued with me saying that I was wrong. He told me that I could not cancel my order. It is 7:53 PM, and I still have not received my order.
