GrubHub Unauthorized transactions

There were several transactions using my Paypal account for Grubhub
using this telephone number for all of these false transactions

GrubHub Unauthorized charges on grubhub account

Someone hacked my GrubHub account which I've hardly ever used.
They added a second dummy email account, phone number and changed my password so I couldn't log in to change password.
They charged $200 in Chinese food and I got an email as soon as the order was placed. Pay Pal alerted me as well about the charges
I happened to be reading my emails and saw the charges. 5 minutes after order was placed mind you. I called GrubHub as soon as I saw the charges. Got some girl and explained everything to her and requested her to cancel order and void the entire transaction. She checked my account and saw the charges and saw in the delivery section where MY address was and where the "Fake" people lived which was 5 states away. I confirmed who I was and she said she'd "remove" my payment linked etc but couldn't void transaction because it was..get this.. delivered already! How the hell is that possible? $200 worth of food and it's delivered less then 15 mins later ? I don't think so.

She also said she would "Escalate" my call and pass it along to their account people but couldn't remove the fake email and second phone number on my account or cancel my account.

I've filed complaint with Pay pal and my bank and am waiting to see if I have to go to FBI or Local NY police to handle this.
I've had it with these loser online corporate companies who don't give a [censored] as long as they get money from somewhere.
Give me my account back so I can delete it and all of my private info.!

GrubHub Food delivery driver

On 1/17/21, I order food online for delivery from HUB Restaurant, located at 5540 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60625. I received a call from Mohammed - [protected]. He stated that my address was incorrect. I apologize then gave him my correct address and apartment number. He stated, "I'm not going up any stairs". I stated that if I knew that he would not follow the directions given online that I would have picked-up the food myself.
I stated that I can not come to get it from him because I was not home and that my husband was home. I also reminded him that I indicated in the online ordering app that the delivery person was to ring the doorbell and leave the food at the door. He blew his breath in the phone and then hung up on me.
After phoning my husband to open the door to receive the food, it was laying against the banister and not against to our door and he still did not ring the bell. He was rude and didn't follow the directions given on the app.
I would like a refund of my delivery cost. He was extremely rude and ignorant.

GrubHub Main moon chinese restaurant

I call my favorite Chinese restaurant and ask if they offer delivery. They tell me they go through GrubHub and order on their website. I go to your website and the restaurant is not on their web page. I try to contact GrubHub and you will not find a fricken telephone number, that's BS, very frustrating I know of no other business that does not offer a contact option?

GrubHub Driver named Liliana

The driver called me and didn't know how to get in our office building, although there are signs all over to ring the doorbell. She had trouble speaking English, so maybe she can't read it? She brought me someone else's food and I said that's not what I ordered. She then ran to her car and brought me the smoothie I ordered. I asked her where the straw was. She said they didn't give me a straw. I said to her this is COVID times, they won't hand you a straw, you have to take them. She then messaged me 10 minutes ago to tell me my food was out front. I said to her "no it's not, I opened the door when you couldn't figure out how to get in the building and you handed it to me." Oye!

GrubHub Bad commercial

The commercial where the young gymnast asks the older man if that is one of her suits, he said yes! This commercial is very offensive in many ways, the worse of it brings to question if the man is some kind of sexual pervert wearing her gym suit. You need to remove these quickly before Law suits hit ya! There are two of these commercials I have seen, both I have to leave the room for. If you want to sell your services it's best to not have offensive commercials.

GrubHub Nonpayment of earnings

On October 24th, 2020, I wanted you update my deposit account information. Inadvertently, I provided the wrong account number. Once I realized it, I immediately notified Grubhub driver support. They told unfortunately, they could not "pause, reverse or redeposit the money" even though I went back in and updated it to the correct bank account number. They are refusing to pay me my earnings, which is $70.66. I've gone back and forth with them. They repeated several times, that basically I'm screwed. I'm not giving up. They finally told me that it's my banks problem and that I would have to contact them. So I did. The bank was able to see where the attempt was made by Grubhub to make the deposit, but because the account was closed, they rejected the deposit. That means the money never entered their institution. I have two accounts with that bank, and I accidently provided the account number for the account I closed. For this mistake, Grubhub is refusing to redeposit my earnings into the correct account I provided. The bank provided me with a statement to this fact. They rejected the attempted deposit. They included the tract number. I provided the statement to Grubhub. It proves the money was not deposited. Still they insist that if the back does not return the money, I wont get it. How can they return money they never received?

Why won't they fix this problem? What can I do? I did what they told me and it failed. They failed to pay me.

Once again, the money was rejected. This is just nonsense. I worked for you. I delivered food to your customers. I show up at places where orders are cancelled. Sometimes I wait up to 30 minutes to get the food from the restaurants and earn $7.00. I drive 40 miles round trip, that's about 40 minutes of my valuable time to deliver 2 tacos.

I wrote that complaint, and see that it needed some editing. I included part of an email I sent to Grubhub.

"Once again, the money was rejected. This is just nonsense. I worked for you. I delivered food to your customers. I show up at places where orders are cancelled. Sometimes I wait up to 30 minutes to get the food from the restaurants and earn $7.00. I drive 40 miles round trip, that's about 40 minutes of my valuable time to deliver 2 tacos."

GrubHub Company of common criminals

Grub hub is a company of common criminals scamming everyone that interacts with them, meaning the merchant, the customer and the drivers. Everything they do, from the order being placed to assigning a driver, to the delivery of order if you are unlucky enough to get your order, is poorly executed in every step on every level. Why people use this or any delivery service like them is just plain ignorance to what is actually happening to the drivers for one, to the merchant and must be new to using grub hub for they have yet to be ripped off. Grub hub customer support is scripted, generic answers to issues, refunds, reimburements are not given. Grub hub will blame the driver, and or whoever, even passing blame back to customer for their lack of good judgement and business sense. They should be thoroughly investigated auditted and yes shut down permanently, anyone in that company that has any money should be stripped of it and all assets including the loyalist in corporate who push the lies onto the next guy. Between lawsuits for unlawful acts in the commencement of business gh pursues and ensures the drivers starve, go homeless as the driver tries to secure money strung in front of him in twisted game deliberately set to entice him to keep trying. Only to realize one good day leads to 7 days of run arounds, wasting more time, gas, efforts, more wear on the vehicle that was intentionally set up for the driver to endure. They can not do not want to pay for the driovers on the road which they hired. But once again as shown by past acts will not do the right things and tell the driver straight up, they are not needed. No they play stupid games on them wasting their time, money and effort. Its no wonder drivers have retaliated by doing dumb things, but if it gets people to wake up and stop using these services so be it. Who is grub hub paying to keep running with all the lawsuits and all the wrong and unlawful acts they have been caught doing? the laws being broken by grub hub and others are deliberately, intentionally, and obviously premeditated knowing the harm they cause the masses. The taxpayers are going to foot the bill for this companys drivers who did not, cannot make enough money to cover their expenses and pay taxes on the money made delivering. The drivers endure losses caused by grub hub, some of those losses are due to grub hubs lack of common and business sense and most of the losses are the games being bestowed on unsuspecting drivers just trying to earn a buck.

GrubHub Unethical behaviour, unauthorized credit card charges

Placed order for delivery with credit card info processed an order and never delivered and now must wait 5 days to receive my refund. Its like offering my person credit and bank information to be tampered with. Fraudulent services. Not th e first time not the first person to experience this. That bussiness needs to be shut down and eliminated now.

GrubHub Delivery

I am a regular customer - last night after waiting for one hr and a half for my food to be delivered I received a call that my order was cancelled - no explanations - the woman that called was non apologetic - I requested the order be delivered even if very late and it was refused-
I will never order with this delivery again.

GrubHub Poor customer service

Upon placing a order and minute later I realize it was the wrong address so I immediately went customer support chat line and explained the issue I use assured it would be changed as soon as a driver was assigned. After driver was assigned still no changed so I chatted back with the support service and was told they would take care of it. Again it wasn't so as I'm tracking my food going to the wrong address I jumped in my car to pick it up and was told while driving it would be going to the right address as their driver texted he delivered it to the wrong address. All I got was a run around and no assistance at all. Crappiest customer service chat line ever and will be switching to DoorDash. 0 out of 10 for me

GrubHub Stolen account and denied reimbursement

Hello, I haven't used grub hub in years, yet someone stole my credit card information and somehow hacked into the old account I had and ordered food I believe as a test run to see if they could get away with it. My credit card has already closed the card and is investigating while sending me a new card, but grub hub denied to cancel the order and said I ordered it, which I clearly did not since I don't live where they seemed to have delivered food on my expense. I'd like a full refund for whatever was charged, and my account fully closed and deleted since they cannot be trusted, at the very least. Thank you.

GrubHub Always late, poor quality on delivery

I order and gh says 30-40 minutes. It takes an hour minimum every time, no matter how close the restaurant is to my house. McDonald's is (google maps) 1 mile from my house, gh said 20-30 minutes, 1 hour 10 minutes to get my food. I could walk and get the food here quicker. They always lie about how long it will take just to make the sale.

Gh also has no regulations on expectation of quality of the food ariving. Ive watched drives get my food and drive the exact opposite way as my delivery point. My food ALWAYS arrives cold if its suppose to be hot, and drinks are warm. (I got milk for a happymeal and it was no less than room temperature, my slushy was seperated and tasted like flavored water, 1 mile away-1hr 10min- no one wants the food or drink- bye bye $30+ and about $8 tip, and i have to get dinner AGAIN)

And you know gh doesn't care, the driver doesn't care ( the tips is paid with the meal purches- so theres no sense that it will affect them), and the resteraunt doesnt care because they cant reprimand the drivers and the customer isnt there to complain and make sure it's righted. The customer is the only one screwed over.

So im done with gh. I have a car so really i was paying for the convenience, but its in no way worth it unless the resteraunt has its own dedicated delivery system. And in those cases i just call the restaurant direct anyway. Even crappy McDonald's food has the expectation to be hot, and the driver should follow the quickest rout to the drop point. Thers always a variance in their rout. Im a construction worker so i use google maps a lot, these drivers are screwing around with peoples food in their car. This could have been great for my field- i order and the food shows up as im going on break, and its hot with a cold drink, awsome right? But its always late and the food sucks. I should be able to alter the tip if for bad service, i bet that would make them care about their job. Or what, should i go to the bank to carry cash to tip? If i have to go out then i can just go pick up my food, so that wont work me. And honestly im feeling spiteful now, because is this even gh? Are they going to appologize? Are they going to monitor their "employees"?So i think i will contact the restaurants ive used gh on, and tell them because of gh i order from their places less often, and that includes the chain stores corporate and franchise owners. I was a chef before an electrician so i know a little something about the culinary field. Im done being frustrated, if someone has a bad experience they will likely tell 7 people, i work with a prime demographic for this type of service. So im likley to tell crews of workers monday- friday- that if they want lunched ruined order from gh. And that goes for whoever absorbs gh as well, your not gonna slap on a paint job and call it a new car. You need to regulate and monitor your drivers. My food was already late and then it switched drivers, and now my kid wouldnt eat the food i bought, its misrepresentation of the products ordered and you misrepresent the service you offer. If you tell the customer your food will be cold and late up front, you know less people will use it. So you lie to people on purpose, and the way to make complaints to the company are hidden, you want us to just sell out the driver. Its gh policies that are the issue, your charging companies for your "service" and screwing them over. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! People are catching on to your practices and we are not going to take it, so sure ill complain here and where else i can. But, i know how meaningless a format like this is, so thses are just words, i do my real talking with my wallet. I don't spend money through gh, i dont have that problem any more, ill take that trade off. And like i said, construction worker IBEW local 103, you pooched it. Good luck evem though i hope you fail.

GrubHub Taco bell

They screwed up "2" order simultaneously and never credited my debit or my "grub hub account!" the sent out cold, nasty food that was wrong twice! I've argued with multiple non-english speaking people multiple times and, they never credited my account with them (unless I spent more money) - they did not credit my debit with over $ 63 dollars of food! Never use them as they suck! Door dash is cheaper and much more reliable.

That's what you get for ordering form Taco Bell. They are the worst and have the lowest of low-life customers. You can complain all you want but it isn't GrubHubs's fault. Taco Bell seals the bags and GrubHub drivers do not open sealed bags. I will bet money you didn't tip the driver either. I am a GrubHub Driver and I reject all Taco Bell orders because they are the most low-life customers that never tip and expect great service for nothing. I lose money on every Taco Bell order. I can prove it to you too. Zero Tip and $1.00 tip and you expect us to come running for you, sometimes in a large mall? Would you deliver an order for $3.00? Go get your own food you lazy idiot.

GrubHub Wrongful charge

When on the web site to sign up did everything got ready to submit and decided Not to sign up after reading I would be committed to a monthly payments. So I Didn't but for some reason they was able to charge my PayPal account. Call Them ask why and said they was sorry they would send me a coupon I said and They still refused to return my money.

GrubHub Orders not passed on to restaurant (multiple times)

On April 27 I placed an order through GrubHub with Crazy Bowls and Wraps in ChesterfieldMO and was updated on the order until the time of delivery. Nothing arrived. I called the restaurant and they said the never received an order through GrubHub.
I called GrubHub and they refunded my money.

On May 27 I contacted a local KFC and they told me could come in and use GrubHub giftcard. When I got there they said they could not use the gift card code for the order.

Today, June 3, I ordered a meal for the family at Luna Grill in Fort Worth, TX.
When I came to the restaurant they said they never received an notification from GrubHub. The restaurant owner told me how much problem they have with GrubHub passing on orders and they have had numerous complains. Going back into the account, GrubHub took my order, charged my account and then cancelled the order and refunded my account without any further notification either to me or the restaurant.

This is now 3 times I have tried to use their service and have not been able to get my orders. GrubHub's website and notification to customers and businesses are lacking serious. AND there is no way to get in touch with anyone that actually is able to care enough except to refund your money after having to tell them multiple times I did not get my order.

GrubHub Lack of integrity and horrible customer service

This food delivery service is the worse in customer service and satisfaction. I use food delivery service usually for my business meetings and I will never use this company ever again.
Placed a sushi order from a local place (6 miles away) and waited 1.5 for the food to be delivered before I called the hub headquarters as the driver was not responding to my text or call. The hub customer service (Marco) realized I was unsatisfied and came up with the resolution to refund my money but still have the driver deliver the food to me. This was a blatant lie. I called back the hub and spoke with a manager named Maria - and she said that is not in her policy to do so. I then received a text from grubhub saying the food was at my gate but no one was available to open it. Another lie. This business has incompetence and lack integrity. I am usually a loyal customer to good service and I will never use this service and recommend to others in my business line to never use this service for food delivery. To take advantage of people during the "stay home " Covid crisis tells you enough about this business.

GrubHub Unauthorized charges to my account

I recently saw a charge on my credit card of 10.81 from Grubhub and clearly with the pandemic, we haven't ordered anything from Grubhub in a while. I contacted Grubhub and was told this charge was for some type of monthly subscription. I didn't know that Grubhub had any type of monthly subscription and what would that be a subscription to? Anyway, I informed them that I did not authorize the charge and realized they had charged me for 2 months. I had never even heard of the program until I called about the charge. How could I sign up for something that I didn't even know existed. Anyway, they will not refund my money. They did cancel whatever I was signed up for but they didn't care that I didn't authorize it after clearly telling them repeatedly that I don't know what this is and did not authorize it. I just wanted to let someone know that I am canceling my account and will not use Grubhub again. And I typically use it to provide lunches for major meetings at work. Now, I will use another account. Also, my counterpart also uses it to order for her meetings. They did not care what kind of customer I was, they just weren't refunding my money. This is wrong especially if I have notified you of the fraud. It wasn't necessarily even the amount, it was the attitude of the people answering your phones. My husband could not believe how they were acting. I just wanted to make sure someone knew why I was closing my account in case someone wanted to know.

I received an order this morning... the two sourdough sandwiches were truly disgusting...there was no cheese . They didn’t look at all like the picture... my friend ordered them and they were completely different...it said egg white to begin with. Not veggie egg white... I am very disappointed and this was my very first time I used grub hub... murkey@aol.com

GrubHub Service on April 1 2020

I ordered takeout through Grubhub at 310 pm for Amicis pizza, 3rd st
San Mateo ca [protected]
Got a text said I would get the order by 350 pm
at 4 pm I was told the order was delivered
I called the toll free number, [protected]
they said to call the restaurant
I did they said it was picked up by grubhub
Got another text saying it was delivered
called the above num again, person put me on hold
after 5 min he said it was delivered and to look outside
still no delivery
He apologized and offered a credit after I said I was extemely UNHAPPY
No offer for a CREDIT
I asked to speak to a supervisor and to have him text me the website or phone num
He offered to put me on hold again?
I then called the restaurant and re ordered with amiccis delivering
They then said grubhub was going to try and deliver it again?
I then got as text saying they delivered it to the wrong address?
I then got an e mail to the wrong address with a credit

They canceled my food order and took my money off my account. I called them they said they will return my money 2-3 business days. I viewed a lot of complaints online this is a outrage how this business is conducted, I will be starting a petition to have them investigated concerning my issues and others.

GrubHub Driver in Pensacola FL

I was at Moe's on Davis Highway yesterday 3/28/20 @ aBout 1:45 pm picking up my order. One of your drivers comes in, there are 2 other guy then me and your driver in the pick up area. They employees are doing everything they can to keep things moving freely as they are adjusting to pickup only since everything has been closed to sinning in as you know. Your driver got very rude with the employee that he had to wait for the customers food yelling that it was not right that it wasn't ready and if he was the actual customer he wouldn't be treated this way and so on. He said it was ordered online and should have been ready. Normally I would agree with him but everyone has to order online right now and the employees are doing the best they can to keep up with it as this is all new to them also. But it was very unprofessional of your driver to act this way especially at a time like this. I get that he was trying to provide service to a customer but being rude and arrogant to the employees is not the way to provide that service. If his time was so concern ing to him then he should not have taken the phone call from his wife, girl friend or whoever in the restaurant telling her that he loved her and wanted to wish her a happy birthday again and then sit in his car after he had the customers food and continue to talk with her for several mins. He was very unprofessional and as a delivery courier for 8 years I understand. Also on another not he looked like a bum in saggy sport shorts and a stained t-shirt and open toed slop on nasty looking slides with dirty toenails and finger nails and unsaved unkept messy looking hair.
