GrooveBook Disappointing Experience with GrooveBook

After reading numerous reviews and experiencing it firsthand, I must say my experience with GrooveBook has been disappointing. The quality of the prints was subpar, with faded colors and fuzzy images. Additionally, the customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. I had high hopes for this service, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. I will be exploring other options for my photo printing needs.

GrooveBook Don't Listen to the bad reviews, it's great!

I read the bad reviews and I was skepitcal at first but I really wanted to try Groovebook out. I am so glad I did. My first book is great. For only $2.99 what is everyone expecting? My pictures are crystal clear, and the ones that aren't were because my iphone takes awful pictures sometimes haha. But honestly, my photos didn't fall right out of the book, they were clear, and the cover is cute. I can't wait to get more and give as a gift for the holidays.

GrooveBook LOVE Groovebook

LOVE Groovebook. I've been using for a few months and yesterday I put 600 photos in a photo album, all pictures from Groovebook. It's easy to use and every month a book of 100 pictures comes in the mail. I love the simple process of choosing 100 photos. I've been able to share copies with friends and family and my kids enjoy seeing my pictures come every month. I recommend this to anyone who has a busy life and no time to think about developing pictures. Thank you Groovebook for bringing back the joy of seeing pictures again!

GrooveBook So in love with GrooveBook! Thank you inventors and Shark Tank for letting me find this great app

I have probably 50,000 pictures on my computer and I am constantly taking pictures but I never end up doing anything with my pictures. I saw this on Shark tank and was so excited! I just received my free book today and I absolutely love it! I hav already told people about it. I think this is the best idea. Thank you inventors of Groovebook! Knowing I get to look forward to this every month for such an affordable price really makes me so happy. Perfect to keep my kids pictures together and organized with month and year! Absolutely perfect. I don't know how someone could say anything bad about it! Again thank you!

GrooveBook I've been using this app for a few months now, and

I've been using this app for a few months now, and I am very impressed with what you get for the price. For $2.99 per month they will print and ship 100 photos from your phone in a keepsake book. The photos are nice quality and easily tear out if you want to remove them from the book. You can transfer photos from your computer to your phone and have them printed as well. My complaints are minor. The shipping is a bit slow. The thumbnails are small so it is difficult to determine the photos that you are choosing.
Overall it's easy to use. Just download the free app and it gives instructions on how to get started.

GrooveBook Love groovebook

I've ordered probably 20-25 books. For me it's a great way to have my phone pics in hand and as I enjoy sharing. I order at end of every month and forget about it. They arrive as nice surprises and I've enjoyed gifting them as well. They do take about 2-3 weeks but I know this in advance. I'm ordering three more this week to share wedding photos with the couple and each of their parents. I just know they will love it. It's not super professional but they'll be able to see (250pics) aspect of the wedding that their photographer didn't catch. I just enjoy sharing them. Again, I love it's simplicity and affordability.
$3 month for 100 pics. What do you expect?

GrooveBook I laugh at some of the negative responses here!

I laugh at some of the negative responses here! What quality do you expect for $2.99 for 100 photos including shipping? I've received three books and for the most part the pictures have been great. Maybe those folks who are dissatisfied don't have a phone that takes quality pictures. I found that my outside pictures are very good. I have used Shutterfly for 12 years so I have recently printed pictures with Groovebook and Shutterfly to compare. The color is actually brighter with Groovebook! It does take longer to receive the pictures from Groovebook but again, the shipping cost from Shutterfly is so high I don't mind the wait. And my pictures are being printed from my phone! Unlike some reviewers, I've had no heads cut off and portions cut off. I use most of my pictures for scrapping so the wait for the book isn't bothersome since I'm rarely to a point in my scrapping that I need the photos. I do have a question about the longevity of the photos. Are they archival quality?

GrooveBook Glad it was a gift

This was a gift for my husband and I after our marriage. I was totally excited because I am a picture lover and would be printing the pictures anyway. The gift giver, we will call her J, sent me all the information that GroveBook stated that I would need to get started. I followed the directions to a T. That was in October, November comes around and I get an email stating that there was a problem with the billing. Took me almost a month go get it sorted out, they only way to contact them is by email, very frustrating. I actually had to call them out on their facebook page to get a response to my emails! After receiving my first Grovebook I was very unimpressed with the quality of the photo and the fact that only one random picture is the size of the page in the book which is the size of a regular printed photo from Walmart. Not to mention that the color was crappy, to say the least, and the photos were grainy. Of course I referred to my pictures to make sure that I had not take them in the manner they were being presented to me and I had not. They were beautiful colorful non-grainy pictures on my device. This lead me to doing some research. I found out that if you use your smart phone the likely hood that the pictures will be the full size of the Grovebook is a joke. However I did read that if you use your camera or upload them from the computer there is a chance that they would be the entire page, WRONG. I have tried all forms up upload to Grovebook and I get the same crappy quality. I am so discouraged that I have not even been using my gift. I decided to write this review because after the first mishap with with billing I thought I was out of the woods and could enjoy what little pleasure and usable pictures I got for the remaining 8 months. Boy was I wrong. I received yet another email stating that there was a problem with the billing, but didn't you just tell me that there were 11 credits on my account? I have replied to them email and their solutions are not even really solutions to the problem they emailed me about! If I could have given less than 11 star I would have because in my opinion the rating should be negative stars!

GrooveBook Which is why I call them "shudder fry

I have ALWAYS despised the quality of ShudderFry, and was furious when they bought out GrooveBook! The moment I saw GrooveBook on SharkTank, I signed up before the show was even over! In the first month, I had 6 books coming my way to catch up on all the pics I needed printed! Oh! They were wonderful! Edge to edge pics, smooth perforations, smooth glossy pictures - perfect! I was in paradise for a year! Then, I received a book with a bunch of pics stuck together and noticed their was about a 1/2 inch white border around the pic, and the paper was sticky and cheap... huh? Then, the next month was the same... WTH? I called to complain and the phone was answered "GrooveBook by Shutterfly, how may I direct your call?" That night was the SharkTank episode of the sale. I'm listed on Linkedin as a business owner and am connected to the show (don't know them, but what they hey...), got online, and posted a whopper - a long with a TON of others who were just as angry. I wrote long, scathing emails, with photo evidence of the difference in quality to Shudder Fry. Their reply "we will be happy to reprint 1 book of your choosing or give you your next book for free". I told them to keep their money, because obviously they needed it much more than I did - the cheap worms. I sent copies of those emails to the Sharks, and actually received an apology from them saying that not everything can be about the bottom line. I also have been charged far in advance of my closing date, when I only had 2 or 3 pics uploaded - and then received 30 copies of each - very helpful, then charged again on my closing date at 12:01 am, before I could load the pics and then again at 11:59 pm after I loaded the pics... The helpful thing was that I received an email from the Sharks via Linked that I will now receive free books for the next year - and boy am I gonna get my money's worth - they'll be on crappy paper, but I guarantee they won't forget me anytime soon. The last shiver is on me Shudder Fry!

UPDATE 4/1/16:

I often come back to this site to see if anyone has any luck in improvement of what was once my favorite app, and it saddens me to see that it only gets worse! And, it seems most of your complaints are due to a lack of a phone number. HERE IS THE PHONE NUMBER TO SHUTTERFLY: ***159. Yes, you do have to have a little bit of patience to get through the automated system, but just keep on insisting for customer service and you WILL get a live person eventually. I found the best time to call is between 10 am eastern time through 3 pm eastern time. It's hit and miss and you will spend time on hold as "your call will be answered in the order it was received", but the number has worker for me. GOOD LUCK!

GrooveBook Photo book

I have cancelled my subscription via email over a year ago. However they are still charging my account a monthly fee. My bank says I will have to get a new debit card because they are not doing an ACH charge. I want a refund of all the money they have taken. When you call them, you cant speak to anyone, you can only email. When I try to use my email to log into account it says I dont have an account. So why then am I still being charged! Craziness!

GrooveBook App and charges

I have had a groovebook account for so many years, I forgot my password so I downloaded the app and had to make a new account, I did this and right after I put in my card info, the app shuts down and continues to do so every time I try to open it. So I was dumb enough to try making yet another account and it did the same thing. So now I have groovebook taking monthly payments out of my account with no pictures in return. I can't even log on to cancel my accounts. But groovebook has taken multiple payments from me and I need to make it stop. Especially in these times when work is hard to find. I need to be reimbursed for the months and months of payments yall have stolen from me.

GrooveBook Charges for service I canceled

I canceled my service with Groove Book October 2019. We were going to serve a mission and I did not need the service.
Now I find out they have been charging me for continuous charges. I have no printed books just charges.
I have tried to log on to my old account and they say there is no such password. I try to change my password and they say there is already an account.
I find it impossible to get any information or contact with Groovebook.
My complaint is I want it all canceled so I don't get any further charges.

GrooveBook not able to send my pictures but you are taking my money

I tried to put pictures in an you refused them for the last 5 months. If this is not settled cancel my subscriptions. Check why you are refusing my pictures. What else can I say. GrooveBook took money out of my account unauthorized

$46.52 was taken out of my account last night. No phone number to call left email. No way should this company take that kind of money when it's $3.99 plus tax for a book. Which I haven't received all they say I have. I've went ahead and cancelled my subscription hoping it may resolve some of the issues. But as I am seeing online there is several issues with this company now charging and not closing your account

How can a book cost $3.99 plus taxes and you took $46.52 out of my account last night. I have sent an email asking why you took that kind of money from my account. I have also closed my account. This service is not working like it use to. I use to send pictures they were printed and sent within a month at least. Now you may or may not get pictures and you are taking unauthorized funds from my account. If this is not resolved in a timely manner I will contact the BBB and may need to speak to my lawyer

I just checked my account today and noticed they charged 38.42 and I started to panic. I went to the app and checked my transaction history and there is nothing that shows what this purchase is for. I have been a happy customer for a while but I will be cancelling my membership and getting a new debit card!

GrooveBook never received my groovebooks

I created, ordered and paid for 3 groovebooks, the app just keeps saying they have been shipped since May 22, and 23rd of 2019 and will delivered thru usps bulk mail. However today is June 22nd 2019 and I have yet received any of the three groovebooks I paid for since May ...I would like to know where are my books ! There is no phone number to contact!

GrooveBook unauthorized charges

I did sign up for Groovebook and have used it for the last couple of years. Now, I want to close my account. I have tried since March 2019 to close the account, either by email or by going into the app on my phone. When I go into the app it tells me I do not have an account under my email address, so when I try to sign up for an online account it tells me I already have one. My account is debited every single month without fail. Such poor customer service. I just want my account canceled!

GrooveBook groovebook

I am being charged monthly but haven't received pictures for 3 months? ? Now I can't open my app to counsel my membership? ? What a waste of time and money. I hope I can get this fixed before I get charged again😢😡 and anyone reading this good luck finding a contact number.
Now it won't let me submit my complaint because it's not 350 words. Do they really want me to complain that long.
In beginning groove book was great. Then I didn't take as many pictures and the books were filled with random pictures(some I didn't delete and want) .

GrooveBook they are taking money out of my checking account when I have canceled my account with them.

I have canceled my account with groove of the beginning of 2019. As of May 19, 2019 they have taken out the membership of $3.99 out of my checking account. I have not ordered any more pictures from them of my own personal pictures if you're allowed to get a groove book for. I was just like my membership to be over with them for them to stop getting in my checking account and taking out money that they do not need or deserve because I have not ordered any more of my pictures to become in a group book. Thank you

GrooveBook pictures and not being able to login into my account

I sent photos to my husband three weeks ago and he never received them. Groove book. I want my money back. Asap! You are a [censored] company using people for there money. That's why u don't have a number because y'all are sceaming. I cannot login to my account as well. And u have my [censored]ing pictures. Now I'm pissed! Send my [censored]ing pictures to my husband Now! Or u will be hearing from my attorney!

GrooveBook groovebook photo album

I use groovebook for my classroom for the past two years and have been very pleased. This past time my groovebook arrived empty! Apparently, the plastic opened and out went my pictures. I am hopeful that your can replace them ASAP. My one complaint is that it takes a long time for the pictures to arrive so I am hopeful that you can replace these pictures quickly. Thank you

GrooveBook groovebook

Today is 4-5-19. Unable to contact by phone. Recorded message says send an email, and unable to get response from email. They're still charging my card with no way to get rid of them. This has been going on for three years. I've gotten atotal of 2 groovebooks over the past 4-5 years. Please help me just get this damn account cancelled. They were a self made company that got their big start on shark tank. Now all they want to do is collecy $ and don't give a [censored] about their service or the money they're scamming people for. They're rolling in the money for services that people try to cancel and can't! They're totally evasive once they have your cc#.
