Greyhound Lines Bus US0162s GREYOUND DETROIT direction CARRS service

stole my baggage and school books and greyhound is not helping me get them back ... i need them shipped to me or else i will have to forfit my semster of college tuition as i cannot afford to repurchase all the luggage they misplaced or lost and will not send ..the communication for the direction of detroit bus driver was awful. they never awser the phones and all the communication via email seems to be automated ! who do they have working these places ?! nobody ? i will never take greyhound again and will continue to share my story unless this issue is resolved

Greyhound Lines Greyhound bus ticket delay / poor customer service

I was supposed to ride with greyhoundbut they delayed my bus and made me miss one to my next destination I've been polite trying to get my money back there's no reason I need a voucher I need My money back! This is ridiculous it's not my fault it's greyhounds I never even made it to my destination because of Grey hound I just want my money back not a voucher. I paid cash I want cash back I'm no longer taking extra trips on Grey hound at all I dnt need a voucher I need My cash back! I had to borrow money outside of the paid for ticket to get to my destination because I did not want to be stranded in atlanta for 18 hours!

Greyhound Lines refund

purchased from wilkes barre pa to milwaukee to travel on the 5th of september 2023 i canceled the same day which is today sept 1st because of change of plans i was told that i would receive a refund within a few business days and long and behold they have send me a voucher the same day only problem is i no longer have a need for the ticket or voucher I paid in cash now im stuck with a voucher that will most likely never be used so am im just pretty much screwed out of my money? they need to fix this if people no longer need to use your services you shouldn't try to force them to use them instead you should put their money back on their cards i needed that money to go towards a different form of transportation thanks for ruining my plans greyhound

Greyhound Lines The condition of the bus, the lateness hour and half late, rudeness and driving

As five of us proceeded to get on bus the driver was very rude and I had my handicapped mother with me with whom I had a hard time getting on bus. We had just missed our train coming off of a cruise. i sat her down in the handicapped seat in the beginning of bus. She was mad about that and I explained that I had not been on a bus in years and did not know we had assigned seats.. We then sat in our assigned seats except for my mother who was terrified at her driving all over the lines..I was sick the whole time having to sit in the dirty filthy seats the bus number is 86033 coming out of New York at 12:30 on Sunday...Booking Number is3102292111. There were five of us that were apalled at the treatment and the condition of the bus

Desired outcome: Total reimbursement plus extra for the traumatization of such a horrific experience that we had to endure for five hours

Greyhound Lines Greyhound bus rippoff money grab trap

On Aug14th I purchased a ticket.

In which the Bus driver decided to leave 30 mins early stranding me in the DMV.

I then encountered the greyhound staff.

who were rude and ignorant of all bus maps or routes. When asking for my refund after being in line for 1hr trying to find a better option then a 2 day trip.

THATS WHEN IT came clear to me to GREYHOUND IS A SCAM STAY AWAY. They refused to refund me my money instead a fake ticket was generated for me in their system and at AUG 14 at 5pm I was suppose to be on my new bus when i emailed and confirmed a refund is what i want. And without my consent After contact about a full refund. I was reissued a bus ticket whilest I was sourcing and being helped by a real traveling company.

Not a hack. They stole my money and have me a fake ticket.

To be honest i feel as if they have a big connection to a lot of missing personas no real tracking for seats and whos getting on very easy for traffickers and kidnappers . which is why they hours or more during PM and if you notice any of the grey hound area drop offs are known for underage prostitution and solicting very scary.

Desired outcome: I ended up flying south west I also had a medical emergency. They were great southwest airlines. Greyhound os denying they can give me my money back.

Greyhound Lines For two roundtrip tickets purchased on the same date with same destination.

I purchased the said tickets on July 3, 2023. Reason for the two purchases: I didn't know that you could purchase seats until I completed the purchase of the initial ticket. I read the frame that reads cancelation and cancel the ticket but I couldn't find how to complete it. I reordered a second ticket and filled in the section for the seats. They were billed to my PayPal Account. The ticket with the seats was used, and the other ticket was not because of the same date and destination. I checked my Pay Pal Account and saw the two charges: The traveled one was Booking number [protected], seat 2D Date of Travel: Monday, July 3, 2023, and return Date Monday, July 10, 2023. I contacted Greyhound via chat on their website and asked for a refund of the unused ticket they told me that I purchased a non-refundable ticket and I replied that I didn't know that because I didn't see that initially. I wanted to speak with an agency and it was difficult to reach one, I finally found one and they told me the same thing and told me they could issue me a Voucher, and in addition, if I had purchased a Refundable ticket, then I could get a refund for the second ticket. I told them that I never read that before making the purchase, If I had known that there was an option before purchasing the ticket then I could make a decision but they said they could not refund me and the ticket was good for a year and they could give me a Voucher to use for another trip. I explained to the agent that I was a missionary pastor in Jamaica and couldn't travel at any time. I saw that I wasn't getting through, therefore I contacted FlixBus Lines that are a part of Greyhound, they were very nice with their response, and told me after checking since I purchased the ticket through Greyhound, they would be the company to reissue the refund. They gave me an 800 number to call with options, I selected option 6, A first-time rider, the agent told me I couldn't get my money back because their policy doesn't refund nonrefundable tickets and I could get a Voucher to use within 15 minutes before travel. I told her that I didn't read that policy when I was purchasing the ticket(s) I only saw those policies after the purchasing and learned about the refundable tickets too. To me the policies are misleading. I told the agent I only want the refund of $127.55 because I need the money and don't have money to give away. That is my Complaint/grievance and was hoping for some leniency, they said that's their policy, thus I'm out of a refund. I'm begging help if possible. Thank you.

Greyhound Lines Ticket exchange/refund policy

I purchased a greyhound ticket back in late November 2022, which I was originally going to use on December 1, 2022. Because of weather conditions, I was unable to use the ticket at that time. When I tried to get a refund, or credit to use toward another ticket at a future date, I was told that they couldn't do anything then, that I would have to wait until I was ready to buy another ticket that I was going to use, and they would then give me credit from that ticket that I could use toward a new ticket. I was also told that they would do this for me so long as my new travel date was less than a year after the date when I was originally going to be traveling.

Then, when I tried to get credit for the original (unused) ticket to use toward a new ticket for August 8, 2023 (less than a year later), I was told that as of January 1, 2023, the policy had been changed, that I was required to get credit for my unused ticket at 15 minutes before the departure time on the ticket. I had no way of knowing that the policy would be changed, let alone changed retroactively, but they told me that that was too bad, that was now the policy. Also, they said that they had no record of my ever having purchased a greyhound bus ticket, that all records of ticket purchases before January 1, 2023 had been purged from their system. This, after being told that the confirmation number I have them was wrong, and being bounced back and forth several times between Greyhound and Jefferson Lines.

What company purges their records at the same time they change their exchange and refund policy? I am now out about $73, because they did a switch and purge on me, with no warning.

Desired outcome: Refund the money that I paid for the original ticket

Greyhound Lines A trip from chicago il to london ky that was to take 10 1/2 hours took 34 1/2 hours returning trip that was to take 11 hours took 22 hours

Bus leaving Chicago July 12, 2023 2:20 pm to arrive in Cincinnati 9:35 pm arrived 10:40 was left at this station until July 13 7:00pm no vending machines, no gas stations or stores around the closest place is a mile away and you have to take your luggage with you and walk. At 5:00pm you are put outside the building until 9:00pm no water, bathroom, or shelter. It was raining so we ask for a garbage bag to cover our luggage. Return trip July 26 London KY 6:05pm Cincinnati 9:10 pm arrive in Cincinnati on time. No driver for a bus had to wait until July 27 7:22am, a ten hour wait.

Desired outcome: Please a refund

Greyhound Lines Unauthorized credit

I booked a reservation July 25th at 11:pm. Then later I canceled it. It was from South Bend IN to San Antonio TX. They gave me a credit voucher for 146.54 dollars. I was going to use the voucher but, I learned that it was given to some one else. Some one from Peoria IL to Chicago IL. I would like to receive another voucher or my money of 146.00 dollars.

Greyhound Lines Ticket purchase

On June 2 I booked a return trip from Vancouver to Seattle. Paid for seat selection and used a voucher for partial payment. The voucher came from a previous trip that was cancelled. Wed July 26 at 9.03am I receive emails saying there have been changes to my itinerary. I am attaching emails I received. I called customer service, was told the only thing I could do was to submit my feedback via clicking the contact us button as there was no one I could phone. I asked to speak to this person's superior and was transferred. I was told the same thing from this person as well. I went online to see the schedule for my original trip and it was still available and the seats I had reserved and paid for were available. I checked the Flix bus and saw their schedule, same thing, but we were now placed in the middle of the bus with different arrival and departure times! I told them I reserved front row seats because my mother has mobility issues.

I've attached screenshots of my original confirmed bookings. I complained a lot and was provided a link to 'manage my booking'. I changed the arriving & departing locations back to the original UOW, but I couldn't change my seats back to what I paid for. I was told I couldn't because new seats had been assigned and I can't change them. I asked them to change them because they have the power to do so and all communications from them ceased. I contacted Flix Bus and was told they can't do anything about it because the original ticket was through Greyhound.

Desired outcome: I want the reserved seats I booked and paid for back because I paid for them and they're still available, but I can't change it myself.

Greyhound Lines I was supposed to arrive in Wichita Kansas around 3am. I didn't get there til noon

On July 1st 2023 6:15pm leaving davenport iowa trailways driver notified Jefferson Lines driver Verl Rapp to wait because we were running late. As our bus was pulling in the Des Moines bus station parking lot the Jefferson lines bus immediately started to pull out leaving us passengers left behind. It was not for another 5 hour wait for the next bus so I made it to my next destination had to wait another 3 hours. I was supposed to be in Wichita Kansas around 3 am. I didn't get to Wichita Kansas til noon! Not very happy! Then my trip back you guys had taken me on a longer ride back clear over to Chicago greyhound and that bus was also late arriving to Chicago and that driver never notified the other driver but I found a 2nd bus luckily to get to davenport iowa but the ticket agent failed to mentioned about the 2nd bus to davenport iowa. I'll never go out of state with greyhound again I wouldn't recommend that. To many layovers and long layovers

Desired outcome: There needs to be better communications with the driver's and the drivers needs to learn to wait for other busses when they are late. I want an apology for that.
