Very poor 🤒
We don't know much about how GoToGate handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. GoToGate overcharging by the site

I am frequent traveler, and for the first time, I booked the Return Tickets from Delhi to London, on 20-10-2018.. went to this Site, taken by Skyscanner.

The Final Price arrived by the site after adding the card charges etc...was Rs 34565, But when the amount was deducted it was Rs 36079. This deduction was uninformed and un-authorized.

The order number was KRJ3OH

I am putting the complaint all across, to ensure that this is resolved, and if not then this site is black-listed.

GoToGate transaction done amount deducted from account but flight ticket not received or any details about booking

I booked my ticket from gotogate website on 21.10.2018 morning. Flight from abu dhabi to raipur on 29.10.2018 and returning on 17.11.2018 so all payment transaction done but didnt receivded my ticket details or any email about my booking. I spent usd 319.37 for this booking. So please mail my ticket details asap thanks

Kindly help me, i've transaction with gotogate at 15 oct 2018 about 10.00 pm and 16 oct 2018 at 5.00-06.00 am Srinagar-Delhi with amount usd 49.82 twice and usd 50.33

my transactions used BCA card succes but untill now i dont received booking confirmations from gotogate

GoToGate ticket cancelled by saudi airlines - reimbursement request for new flight ticket cost

Dear Sir,

Good Day,

I booked flight ticket SAUDIA on 25th June by through GOTOGATE website. (Booking reference-FIKALL; Order number KPD6P7; Flight No-SV896; Departure date & time 16th Aug 4.45am; Luggage 46kg) for direct flight Riyadh to Bangalore.

I reached airport on 16th Aug early morning and same time i received message from SAUDIA flight was delayed from 4.45am to 6.45am and again message received flight delayed from 6.45am to 7.40am and i awaiting for boarding pass from last 5hrs. but in counter officer said meet SAUDIA customer care and i went to office to meet customer office, almost 30 to 40 peoples ticket got cancelled in same flight. so we all are discussed with officers, i need to travel on same day on urgent basis, because 17th Aug 12.00pm was my engagement & marraige. but they said flight got cancelled & they will arrange flight on 18th aug through from jeddah. Why we booked flight 50 days earlier in GOTOGATE. but its not good for customer at the time of EID festivel and important business meeting and personal activities (My marriage).

For urgent purpose, I try to book another direct flight Riyadh to Bangalore, nothing available at the time. finally i booked connecting flight from Riyadh to Kuwait to Mumbai with 30kg and Mumbai to Bangalore luggage was only 15kg (domestic) at the time of flight available.

I need Reimbursement for entire flight charges as per LAW.

RIYADH TO BANGALORE by SAUDIA Airlines (Original ticket) - SR. 993.12

Alternative Ticket cost (New ticket) with Extra luggage - INR 85, 513.00

GoToGate lack of delivery on flight

I just landed after a very unpleasant travel using your services. I am referring to my flight with the following details:
Order number: KQN7SV, Booking reference: Flight: IQOQTD, operated by Pegasus Airlines.
As a part of my order I've especially ordered a meal and payed extra for it (If necessary, I have a copy of my order confirmation stating just that). I could have done it myself, but I relied on your services, and I did not receive any meal. I had to starve myself for 17 hours just because you failed to deliver.
Fearing just that, I went out of my way prior to the flight to confirm directly with the airline that I am listed under the special meals list. This started a whole correspondence between the airline and your representative, which leaded to no result. Needless to say I shouldn't have been the one to get stuck in between this useless headache, this is what I paid you for.
Please, the least that I ask is that you send me a full refund of the actual food I did not receive (I won't even bother trying to get a compensation for the aggravation you have caused me). Needless to say, I will not be using your services in the future.

GoToGate booking a flight

I booked a flight from Manchester to Las Vegas last night through skyscanner, booking ref BXNOHJ. I paid on credit card and received my ticket from yourselves. I checked it on the Virgin website and the booking was all in order. This morning I receive an email to say the ticket has been cancelled due to a technical fault. The price was incorrect on the booking site. However that is not my problem I booked and paid in good faith so surely you have a moral obligation to honour this ticket? I have gone back onto Skyscanner this morning and you are still advertising flights at the same price so how can it have been a technical error? I am a university graduate and an extra £180 is a lot of money to me. Please could you in this instance honour my ticket.

GoToGate my confirmed airline ticket was cancelled without informing me and full money not refunded

My confirmed flight from Bangalore to Singapore was abruptly cancelled after a month and I was not even informed about it. When I inquired, I was told it happened due to a technical reason (that I guess even they do not have a clue about). The money deducted from my credit card was 725.23 USD and only 598.63 was refunded.

Now where does it leave me... I need to book more expensive flights and How do I ensure the complete money is refunded (didn't even get an apology from the ticketing partner - gotogate)

GotoGate is a scam. They have no phone number and have virtual presence.

GoToGate air ticket reservation md7zcy

Dear All,

I have bought air tickets through gotogate.com reservation number is MD7ZCY. On the way forward everything was fine but on the return flight the air company has charged me for 110 euro for luggage as they only saw overweight up to 32kg in their system. I have all the documentation for additional charges.

Can you please review what can be done so the company returns this additional fees which I already paid when booked the ticket.

GoToGate your website screwed up and booked the wrong flight back ref: kr5593

Hi,

I went from the tripadvisor website to book a flight back to salzburg at 6:10pm

Instead, for some stupid reason, I clicked the back button a couple of times and it changed to a 10:40PM! I went through the booking process without noticing this error and now that I have looked at the confirmation of booking, it is incorrect.

your site was so glitchy and screwed up and I also need to confirm with the airlines that I actually have a booking (as I have heard you are a scam company)

If this is the case where I am not showing on the airlines records, I will be disputing the charge to my card with my bank so that the costs will be revoked.

I wish to cancel this flight (as i am entitled to this within the 24 hour period of booking) so that I can change this!

GoToGate overcharging of suitcase and error in booking

Ref / U3SEOB

When I booked my return ticket in February 2018  to Cyprus leaving from luton London on 29th September with blue air and returning 13th October with wiz air I requested 1 checked in bag 20kg .I was charged £49 for this.This seemed reasonable for 2 journeys for  1 suitcase.

However on attempting to checkin for our flight  I discovered whilst contacting blue air that I did not have a suitcase booked. On further investigation including contacting wiz air and go to gate I discovered much to my shock the following.

1. Wiz air  confirmed as did my account that the cost of my suitcase with them that I was able to access it was in fact £28.59 yet go to gate charged me £49.

2.I was overcharged £21 no real apology was given when i contacted go to gate with this error  indeed the response was appalling they did however also confirm that even though the cost of the suit case was £28.59 I was charged £49

3. I was told by go to gate to purchase another case from blue air for my outbound journey thus incurring more cost even though i had been overcharged by go to gate and that go to gate would investigate how this error and overcharging came about

As far as I am concerned I paid in good faith for a return checked in suitcase and have been significantly inconvenienced to discover I was overcharged for 1 journey and have had to pay an additional £27.78 to blue air to be able to take the case out.

The whole matter had been upsetting and taken a large amount of time to investigate and extra money to be able to travel on Saturday. 

I clearly want the money I was overcharged back (£21) plus the additional money to book a suitcase an extra £7 and compensation for the error made the time it took me to investigate including tel calls to deal with the matter( at least 4 hours)

I expect a speedy response and refund given none of this was my error and that I have been significantly overcharged only discovering it on investigating.It makes me wonder how many other people have been overcharged without their knowledge and understandably has reduced my confidence in the way go to gate operate

On line booking done on the 28/09/18 at 21.39hrs from Dubai the payment is acknowledge and received a message that the payment is deducted from the credit card .

Why should I refund my mail clear repayment of my mail, how much will a refund be received, because I have tried all the option of cancellation, I did not get any response, I also called the Athias Airways, the feet they spoke, my book, AFMQBA, The feet do not say that you do not book the tickets, you have only been contacted by your agent, no contact no one connected to the foot agent, please my grandmother I have multi-prong tension, I can get my pants refunded by

GoToGate credit card charges without booking confirmation

I made a payment for two round trip flight tickets from Seattle WA to Chiang Mai Thailand for $1, 875.82
Nov. 18th to Dec. 4th 2018

The money was immediately taken out from my bank account and is now pending on delivery.

The website said there was an error and did not complete the payment order. so we never received the ticket confirmation but the money was still sent.

We want a refund and to cancel the flights entirely.

By this letter I will try the last time to solve amiable my issue with your company.
My name is Dinu Gutu and I am the father of Artiom Gutu, born 07/10/2002, who is the passenger to whom your company refused check in at the desk in Iasi Airport (Romania). I bought him a ticket through agent GotoGate (attached please find confirmation, order number and booking reference, 4pages). My son was supposed to fly from Iasi airport to Paris (Beauvais) airport on Friday 24 of August 2018, departure at 14:00, arrival in France 16:15, flight nr: 0B6805 operated by your company - Blue Air.
Me as well as my son have double citizenship and are citizens of Republic of Moldova and Romania. A couple of years ago we decide to reside and now we are living in Wolverhampton, UK, where I am working and he is a student at Moreton School.
As my son is a student, the only time for holiday and visiting grand parents who live in Republic of Moldova are summer holidays, namely month of August. We decided that he will visit them for 3 weeks beginning of August and last 10 days of that month I will book also my holiday and we planned to spend our holiday in France, 2 days in Paris DisnayLand and 7 days in Basque country (near Biarritz) thus I booked through AirBnB an apartment in the region, namely in Hendaye (holiday village). Attached you can see my booking from AirBnB. That's why I booked for him a flight to Paris where I planned to meet him while I was driving by car from UK (on the way).
Unfortunately, due to the fact Blue Air refused without any legal reason his check in, my son did not flight and our holiday was destroyed.
After almost one week of many telephone discussions with client service of the company, I understood that the only explanation they can provide me is to call Iasi Airport border police to ask as the employee of Blue Air responsible to do check in ask somebody to consult and was advised to refuse check in. As my son presented to cash in desk a perfectly valid, biometric passport issued by Republic of Moldova authorities (find attached copy of it), and being at the age of 15 he do not to be accompanied by an adult, I do not understand the reason he was refused check in as well as explanation of Blue Air that this is not their decision as well can not be accepted as border police is after check in desk and security control, but he did not reach them, as he was refused the check in. So logically I can not pretend something and have questions to Romanian border police as he even did not meet them technically and no official refusal from them he has.
As it is highly likely the employee of Blue Air made a mistake and un legally refused check in of my son, I have the reasons to think they oversold tickets for this flight and they were look for any kind of reason to refuse his check in, thus refusing the boarding.
As this actions of Blue Air produced for me and my son huge financial consequences as well as destroyed our holiday for this year, I would like a reparation of these and specifically:
Full refund of the ticket Iasi - Paris in the amount of 131 GBP
Full refund of the travel expenses Iasi - Chisinau - 25 GBP (due to check in refusal, he need to travel back to Republic of Moldova)
Refund of the difference between new ticket and the old Blue Air ticket - 90 GBP (as he was refused check in I had to buy him a new ticket and the best/cheapest option at that moment was Chisinau - Barselona at the price of 220 GBP)
Full refund of hotels in Marne la Valle (near DisnayLand) and Tours (on the way to Hendaye) - 82 GBP
Full refund of the travel cost from Hendaye to Barcelona return - 151 GBP (I had to drive from Hendaye to Barcelona to pick him up. This is about 1100 km return. There are tolls. Spend also more than 14 hours to drive in including night time)
Full refund of the booked accommodation in Hendaye - 418 GBP (as holiday was destroyed and he did not use it)
Total claim for refund - 897 GBP
I kindly ask you the last time to solve this issue in an amiable way, giving you 2 weeks to arrange payment of the clamed refund in the amount of 897 GBP into my personal account:

GoToGate agent behaviour

On the 7th of September, I called at 16:40 to change my return flight, reference KQAG5G. The advisor I spoke to placed me on hold for over an hour before transferring me to a supervisor. I presume this was to try and make me drop the call and call back again. The supervisor I then spoke to placed me on hold and hung up. After 2 hours on the phone. I then called back and the agent I spoke to also refused to transfer me. Finally I was put into contact with Edison Thomas. Though unable to make the change, which I had been told I could do yesterday. He at least seemed to be competent, unlike the 3 previous agents I spoke to. A ridiculous service and terribly handled

GoToGate customer service

Due to a confusing layout of the calendar on the site I accidentally booked a flight for Monday of this week to Tuesday of next month.

Within minutes of completing my booking, I realised my mistake and attempted to call them to rectify the error. However, their phone number for Australia does not work at all. It just says, "Welcome to WNS, please dial the extension number you require." I then attempted to fix it through Virgin Australia who was, fortunately, able to contact them through their American service center number. However, when I tried to fix my flights to Monday and Tuesday they told me they had no other flights available on that Tuesday after 12pm for Virgin.

With a quick search on the Virgin site I was able to find that the statement was clearly incorrect and there were plenty of later flights available. I ended up just cancelling my ticket and getting charged $75 for nothing.

Never using gotogate again.

?if it was a BANK TRASACTION issue, BEFORE releasing the PNR, WE should have received an ALTERNATE PAYMENT OPTION - LINK with a time limit, how can 4 INTERNATIONAL - NON REFUNDABLE tickets with confirmed PNR, all details uploaded on airlines site, and amount deducted from our bank account be VOID by gotogate ?
and the amount credited /refunded back to our account after 3 working days !

GoToGate ticket booking

I was trying to book tickets to Sydney on 2nd Sept, 2018 at around 12:00 PM for 28th Sept 6 AM through gotogate.

After the tickets are booked, i got the booking for 28th Sept 9 PM.

I, clearly remember I have selected 6 AM flight. They just noticed once about the price rise but no info regarding the change of timings.

When I am trying to contact them, they are not reachable.

Have anyone faced this issue?

I was also unable to contact them, however, a Virgin Australia representative was. I think they contacted the American contact center number (probably ends up at the place).

GoToGate very poor communications. I cancelled a booking and never received my refund.

I booked a flight ticket for 11 August, to China, through gotogate, which is a travel agancy in Sweden.

I cancelled booking 9 days prior to the departure (3 August) through email. There is no other method. There call centre just never gets picked up, no matter what.

I never received any reply from them. As soon as 11 August passed, they just kept on saying they cannot refund a booking after the departure date or they would say I should contact the airline directly.

I have everything on email, so I can send it to you if you'd like. There is also no phone contact. I also tried communicating through facebook. Someone did respond saying that they would like to call me. I gave them my nr. In any case. I said I prefer email to have things on record. Who ever replied on Facebook said they tried to call me, although I had my phone with me the whole time and had no missed calls on my phone.
