Gold's Gym membership

I have been Gold's gym member on and off since 2013. I signed back this summer and I was pretty happy with staff and my personal trainer. Then I needed to put freeze on my account for 2 months and I came and signed all documents and I thought I was good until I found out that I was good only for one month. I might have circulated by mistake one month, but both me and my trainer knew that it has to be for 2 month. Now I have bill for personal training and month of September that I can't attend and it seems that no one can fix anything.
I will cancel my membership and will never join this gym and will make sure that everyone in military community knows that Gold's gym is like trap. They just don't want to work with their customers.

Gold's Gym money stolen from my locker

On 28/09/2019 i went to the gym to workout and like every other day i put my bag, which had my wallet inside, in the locker and i safely locked it using a passcode.
After my workout i took my bag and left 10 mintues after leaving i notliced that my wallet was empty any my 80 JOD were gone. i contacted a contact person at the gym and he told me that he will take action and get back to me but he didnt.
so the following day on 29/09/2019 i went to the gym and asked to see the GM to submit my complaint verbally and officially but they didnt allow me to see the Gm and instead they asked me what happened then i told him and they told me they cant do anything about it as there are no cameras in the ladies locker room.
i told them that it is not a matter of cameras all lockers are locked using a passcode that evey memeber choses however there is a master key that is used to open all lockers ( if some get stuck or something) and this key is with the locker staff that is why i am accusing them o stealing my oney and helding them accountable to whta haapened.
Tey havent reacted nor took a professional action towads my complaint and my money is gone.
I hope this complaint get to Gold's Gym Franchise as it will affect their image and reputation and i am sure it will happen to someone else.

Gold's Gym cable fly weight machine’s

Golds gym location 2255 SW Military Dr, San Antonio Texas 78224, is one I will not be returning to anymore until the equipment here is replaced, all of it is damaged, and tonight I witnessed that first hand, I was doing cable flys and both sides of the machine malfunctioned and snapped on me, the pins came out of the left side and the whole thing flew up, while the other side came out of what should have kept the arm of the machine in place, and went completely down, my arm pulled back with the machine as it went down and is a bit tense because of that. I could've broke my arm had I not let go of the grips as it malfunctioned, I'm very cautious with everything I do in the weight room because I know the seriousness of what can happen. I know stuff like this shouldn't happen, the gold's corporation is one of the best gyms in America, and this establishment does not represent that in the slightest way.
I was told 100 thousand dollars was being put into the facility, but I still see the same damaged and old equipment every time I walk through those doors, and that's not okay.
I feel like employees of this location treat it they way you do, because of the location of this establishment it is on the south side of San Antonio and 90% of the people in here are minority's, but regardless, that should not matter.
I hope this establishment makes the necessary changes it needs.

Gold's Gym charged for services not received

This location is a RIP off. I fulfilled my membership in June 2019, since then they have debited my account for 600$. I did the cancellation correctly, I have a cancellation number and its impossible to contact anyone concerning this matter. I even contacted the CEO Adam Zeitsiff. I'm getting legal representation to get my money back. This is ridiculous, I'm a widow with stage 4 cancer and they are ripping me off, I'm also contacting a local news station. I believe that the people need to know how they do business.

I've been having an awful time with Golds too. They have been charging me for classes I did not sign up for and haven't given me a refund and just charged me again. I've had a lot of other issues with them. I feel like with all the dissatisfied customers, maybe there's grounds for a class action suit.

Gold's Gym poor services

M a golds gym member from last year but am sorry to say worst gym in the whole region. They don't have Ac and proper exaust in cardio section. Even Ac in gymming area is not working properly.there is no timings for gym. Even at 6 am it remains close most of the time. Only a officeboy comes at 6:15-6:30 who openes gym. Is this what you call Golds Gym👎 If you can't provide services stop charging or provide services. Local gyms are way better. Shame on you gold gym. Third class gym in tricity.

Gold's Gym refund for membership that I didn't even use. debit my account fraud

Hello, I have charges made to my bank account that I did not authorize. The last month of my membership was set to come out of my credit card. This card had to be cancelled due to false charges. I am still waiting on those charges to be reversed, and my new card so I have not been able to.. Vince told me 5 to 7 business days . with my dr not stating i am unable to work out. i was treated in fairly as a woman. i did as they ask of me as bring in the dr note. Once they debit my account for the add on, that paper was not sigh. at all they took the money anyway . stay away from golds gym fm 78 san Antonio texas

Gold's Gym training classes

Dear sir,
I have a complaint to the branch hazza bin zayed stadium - men-only gym - al ain - united arab emirates. during the training classes, they load the song and music to the highest level. we complained to the administration, they could not reduce the voice, only 5 minutes then the trainer back to load the voice, they sais we could not control them.

Also, I complained to another trainer, they said, we can not interfere with them.
Each trainer tries to encourage his group regardless of the other members, in my opinion, he tries to combine all members to his session, this is selfishness. sometimes I leave the gym because I get trouble from the loud song. hope you take action before I losing my membership.

Gold's Gym harassment, hostile work environment and then terminated

Several Instances have been reported about the Manager Brian harrassing me at work, calling me names, making me cry, and writing me up for everything. Schedules me intentionally on my unavailability times and I was told that if I didn't work I would be fired.
I was told by several other employees that he targeted me because I am a girl and he did not like my boyfriend. Who was also harassed at work until he quit.
I was told that we both are being black listed from the gym so that we cannot work out there even though we hold a membership. He does this to every employee that leaves. Several over the past few months have left due to his behavior and name calling. We are called idiots, he told me he could not stand me being there, and several other issues.
We have contacted the DM but nothing was done. Yesterday he fired me for being 5 min late because my car broke down and I had to get a ride. He wrote me up for that also.

Gold's Gym Turning off lights in parking lot

Our gym recently quit turning on the outside lights! I go at 5AM and it feels unsafe as a 120lb female walking through the parking lot in the dark. When a group of us inquired why. They said to save money... That makes me feel as though your profit is more important than my safety. Is this a Gold's Gym policy or is this from my local Gym. other than a complaint card, who can I contact?

Gold's Gym billing

Hello,
I have charges made to my bank account that I did not authorize. The last month of my membership was set to come out of my credit card. This card had to be cancelled due to false charges. I am still waiting on those charges to be reversed, and my new card so I have not been able to make the last payment. I noticed this morning that the last dues along with another 20 dollar charge were taken out of my checking account. I did not authorize this to occur, and I am now overdrafted and unable to pay my son's daycare fee. I want these charges reversed immediately, since I did not authorize them to come out of my checking account. My name is Lauren Lewis and my member ID was AA0718659149.
A customer care agent contacted me saying they updated my billing information through a special billing process, so a card I did not provide nor authorize to be charged was charged. This is ridiculous and no effort is being made to resolve the issue other then me being told to be more responsible with my billing information. The poor customer service I have received from this company is why I cancelled my membership in the first place, and this just further process it.

Gold's Gym no refund after being promised

I was mistakenly charged late fees on my auto draft because of a front desk person error (NOT MINE). I was promised I wouldn't be charged late fees, yet I was. I was promised a refund. NOTHING. The manager is always in a meeting or busy and will not speak to me on the phone or in person.

I am going to speak with my lawyer and file a suit against Gold's.

Gold's Gym refund not being processed after being promised

I am an Executive member of Gold Gym, Batterjee Road, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (next to Saudi German Hospital).

Because I will be leaving Saudi Arabia on permanent Exit visa, I requested Refund and was given a signed refund form on the 10 June 2019 by Ahmed Fahmy.

Ahmed Fahmy promised I will get refund in 14 days after days he told me to seea guy named ILYAS (Finance Section guy) in Golds Gym...

Every time I come to see Fahmy and Ilyas they say come in 4 days.

Today (21 July 2019) I went to see Ilyas and as usual he said come next Sunday.

Its been 2 months of this stupid request from Ahmed Fahmy and Ilyas the Gold Gym Finance accountant.

Will your Gym give me the refund or not? Please tell me straight... I am not begging for Charity.

I have taken this complaint (on whatsapp) to President, CEO and Manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia but its like tallking to brick wall.

Here is my form and card pic.

I think your Gold Gym employee are deliberately trying to delay so I wouldn't get the refund.

If you can help me, appreciate it otherwise l will advise all my friends never to join this con club.

Gold's Gym membership cancellation / forgery

I started a membership in February 2019, I quickly canceled it right after due to a busy schedule. I was prepared to pay membership cancellation fees. When they sent me over the paper work about my membership it contained all of my personal information and banking card information was listed on there, my signature had been forged 3 times. I contacted the high point, NC gym location and they closed everything on my account for free because of the forgery. So I thought. I continued to get calls from golds gym saying that I had not paid, so they charged me multiple times for the next few months with a "closed account." I got a new debit card so avoid the charges since I no longer was a member there and they somehow gathered the information of my new card and charged me for the previous months and charged me with multiple $20 dollar late fees. I have called to complain and get answers from corporate many times with no help. As for the forgery, the CORPORATE manager, has suppose to call me regarding this for 5 months now. Apparently it has been "escalated to his attention" about 10 times now, but they have no direct contact information for him. I contacted the gym and the general manager there admitted to forging my signature, stating "he had the authorization" to sign my name containing all of my personal information. I have still yet to hear anything about how to handle that, from the corporate end.

So if you want to work with a business that does not care about anything but money and supports forgery, golds gym is the place.

Gold's Gym shady busy practices & fraudulent charges

My daughter was coersed into a membership which she promptly canceled within 12 hours never stepping foot inside of the gym! Manager (Eric) agreed to cancel membership & give refund however they continued to charge our credit card w/out authorization for 3 months & would have continued doing so had I not blocked them. Ironically, they turned us over to collections & we are taking it to Small Claims Court. How do they get away w/this? Absolutely criminal!

Gold's Gym membership cancellation

We canceled our Golds gym Eldersburg membership in-person on 3/12/19. We have been charged for April, May, June and July even though we have called multiple times to get the autopay stopped, and we have yet to receive any of the promised refunds for the unauthorized charges. We were told the April charge is not going to be refunded because our bill happens on the 6th of the month and we canceled 6 days in, which seems ridiculous but whatever... charging us for three more months is not acceptable! The GM at the Eldersburg location didn't offer any apology or sincerity and only said he would submit the paperwork to billing again. When I asked if it would work this time he said hopefully? I asked if i could speak to someone who actually handles this and he said "you're actually speaking to him." Yet he doesn't know if it will actually resolve our issue. At this point it's theft and breach of contract.

Gold's Gym lost rubber shoes

My locker is open and all of my things is missing. All of the personnel don't have any explanation why they personally opened my locker without permission, I actually admitted it's my fault for overnight staying of my things But they need to bring it back and they don't have the right to open my things. And lastly the staff should be the one who help to bring it back my things but they are the one mad and have some attitude.

Gold's Gym hot tub

I am a member of the Gold's gym in San Antonio on Hwy 281 near Brookhollow .

When I went in the hot tub today the chemicals made my entire body itchy .. My penis was hurting. When I got out my entire body was red, when I removed my shorts my underwear which was black when I got in had turned red. I told one of the guys working there in the locker room he could see how red my body was and he told me to report it on-line to this site. When I was leaving he said we asked other members who were in the hot tub if they had any issues and they said no.
This is the second time this happened to me in two months. I will try and attach pictures to this story. I am never going in that hot tub again. Gold's Gym membership/ payment issue

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Gold's Gym - Ladies Only - Nasr City Branch, Cairo, Egypt.

The issue that I have experienced was: The first time I used this branch was by a referral from a friend and I only got to pay for PT sessions without any gym fees, just an additional amount of EGP 1, 000 stating that I will be using the gym facilities. It was with coach Mona, who left exactly after 1 month of me paying the PT to hand me to Coach Hagar and I had no other option as I wanted to finish these sessions.
After my sessions were ended, I waited for few months then decided to go back to the gym to pay a FULL YEAR, as they didn't want to have the same exception I had before, so I did what they wanted by paying the full year EGP 3, 500 + 24 PT + 4 PT free sessions EGP 3, 348 with coach Hagar.
As I had an arm injury I only went 2 times for the PT during the month of June and when I was healed and was about to go back I was informed by Coach Hagar that she will leave the gym soon due to some internal problems occurred. That lasted for 1 week to tell me afterwards that she will not leave and she will continue in the gym so we were rescheduling our sessions.
3 days later, and exactly on 12.07.2019, she told me that she left the gym all of a sudden without even warning me and without handing me to anyone else.

It occurred on: 12/07/2019

This meant that I paid the full year and 24 pt + 4 free sessions JUST TO be well trained by this coach as I was obliged to pay the full year even though I did not the first time. Afterwards, she left without even handing me properly to someone else and I don't want to be handed to a 3rd coach that I will restart everything with from scratch.

As I tried with the sales people to solve this issue as they don't have a branch manager at the moment and I don't know who else I should talk to, noting that I was informed that the sales people don't want to sell any new memberships again due to some internal problems that are none of my concerns, apart from the mistreating and the very bad attitude of the reception staff that's not expected from a Gold's gym that is a well-known brand all over the world, and this is not the right way they should treat their clients, I would like to receive a Full REFUND for my membership and PT as I am very unsatisfied with the services and the treatment.

I am look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

Gold's Gym unsanitary/ unorganized environment

I have been going to this location for over 4 years and the situation has gotten worse! There is no team member on the floor to rack weights or clean machines. Weights are all over the place and the machines smell like rotten milk, especially the cardio machines. It is unprofessional to have such dirty environments. The janitors here can only do so much. I have been to other locations where I see golds gym employees wiping down machines from top to bottom as well as racking weights. I understand it is up to us to rack our weights and clean the machines but not everyone does it. The rags that are provided to clean machines are always soaked in sweat and smell. Very unprofessional of Golds Gym, which is considered a more high end gym!

Gold's Gym customer service and amenities

Am from egypt goes to sheraton branch am complaining from the air condition its not working and we complained a lot with no reply also no enough towels all the time. Sales team give u a lot of promises which then they claimed that its not allowed when i asked why u didn't put in the form of things which are not allowed so i can be a knowledged they said sorry its a mistake they leave it subtle which make no responsibility on them when they change their words after u ve done ur membership am so disappointed although the trainers there r perfect
