My brother had a website on GoDaddy before he died. It came up for renewal in early October 2022. We tried repeatedly over many weeks to access the website before it was up for renewal as we knew the renewal would not go through because all his bank cards had been discontinued. We have access to my brother's email but not his cell, which was disconnected upon his death. He had 2 step verification. We tried to submit the required documents to the security system that they sent us to, but it would not accept the documents and gave us no indication as to what was wrong with the submission. We called again and again but no one could help us and there was no way to resolve the situation with a human being. We had less trouble accessing his bank accounts than we did dealing with the website. We even begged to let us pay for the site to remain up without giving us access. We were always told to try again on the security site. But with no indication of why our submission request was denied, we could not move forward. Our brother was an artist and we want people to be able to find his work online. We finally gave up.

Recurring problems with their software. Automatic emails supposed to go out to subscribers when a new post is made. Multiple time no email sent, customer "service" doesn't have a clue, tech people cannot fix. Useless company. Does NOT provide advertised services paid for by customers. They take money, yet do NOT provide the offered services.

Contacted company multiple times, not fixed.

Unfortunately, my domain expired before i could renew it with my hosting company, who informed me godaddy took possession of the domain. When I called godaddy, they told me they could broker a sale for me to get it back, then suggested I have a beginning bid of $500 with a $1,500 limit. This is predatory business practices, taking advantage of small business owners. I looked on whois and confirmed that they do indeed have the domain. Lying about taking the domain, then constructing a fake deal to sell it back to us is horrible, unethical, and predatory.

On August 30, 2022 Andy Kiefer of Godaddy stole $193 dollars from Nehemiah Rolle Jr Black American senior citizen of blackhorizins.com and criminally breached the contract and agreement with me, Nehemiah Rolle Jr of blackhorizins.com where Godaddy promised to transfer my website (Blackhorizins.com) the hosting from a website hosting company named "Orpheus" and our domain name from website company named "Hostgator" to "Godday" a popular advertised website hosting company located in Arizona. Andy Kiefer of godaddy.com ([protected]@godaddy.com) was criminally aided and abetted by another person in the Philippines named John with the email address of [protected]@godaddy.com a purported supervisor at Godday and he was criminally aided and abetted by another female person named Edden or Erika of Godaddy.com costing me, Nehemiah Rolle Jr of blackhorizins.com $193 dollars thru criminal fraud and criminal theft and which resulted in the lost of my domain name "Blackhorizins.com and my website hosting costing a $100 Billion dollars in a criminally fraudulent transfer to Godaddy.com which never happened.

l, Nehemiah Rolle, Jr of Blackhorizins.com am complaining to you Chairman of the Board of Godaddy Charles Robel and CEO Aman Bhutani about these people at Godaddy or Godaddy.com who preying on mainly retired or senior citizen Black Americans who have a small business or non-profit business promising to provide us website hosting and a website domain name services for our website which we pay them major money and subscriptions fees but do not provide the promised or contracted services. You cannot call on the phone these white salespeople like Andy Kiefer (an white American) after they take your money through a criminally fraudulent Visa credit card or debit card transaction.

Further, when you call the general telephone number [protected] of Godaddy you get routed to a person in the Philippines after a long wait of at least a 1 hour; a person from the Philippines continues the criminal fraud and criminal scam. Because my $193 dollars has been stolen and more importantly my website blackhorizins.com is gone through criminal fraud and criminal theft and racism against Black American senior citizens like me, Nehemiah Rolle, Jr. I, Nehemiah Rolle, Jr., of Blackhorizins.com I want Andy Kiefer of Godaddy and John with the email address [protected]@godaddy.com and Edden or Ericka of Godaddy with the email address of [protected]@godaddy.com criminally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and Godaddy to make full restitution of $100 Billion dollars to me, Nehemiah Rolle, Jr., of Blackhorizins.com and cease and desist and stop preying on Americans citizens especially Black American senior citizens using criminally fraudulent internet ads in pop-ups saying we at "Godaddy" can help you setup or maintain a website for you small business, it's a criminal fraud.

On July 6 2022 I needed help from godaddy to reactivate my email address as a result of mirco 365. Go Daddy tech specialist wanted me to save all my emails, than dump the program, install the updated program and than reload all my emails. I let him know in no uncertain terms that keeping my emails successfully was imperative to our business operations. He assured me that it was not a problem.

After following his directions to save all the emails he wiped out everything and installed new version. When with his directions I went to reinstall my emails there was nothing. no emails no nada.

I currently have several additional hours trying to get help. I've been on hold twice for over 45 minutes. Been "disconnected" 4 times. Misdirected (departmentally) 3 times and been greatly upset 7 more times

I desperately need these emails. Whether you have them somewhere or someone can show me or come by my office to extricate these emails

My business email has been shut down due to some security update GODADDY is performing on clients who use Microsoft Outlook 365. My email has been down for a week and now they say may be another 3 days. I called once or twice a day, stayed up ALL night on chat and they still cannot recover my email and get my business email of 20+ years up and running. I get 200+ emails a day for my business and suddenly I am shut down. THey told me if i filled out the form they would fix my problem and send me an email in UP TO 72 hours, this is after i was down for 2 days! I called everyday to check on it AFTER THE 72 hours passed. FINALLY they said OH you filled out the wrong form! BS! On the phone they said yes sir we know what you need, you are having problems with your email password! I SAID YES! Then on day 5 they said I completed the wrong ticket! Why didn't they tell me that on days 1-5? Now on week two they are saying complete the form for email access! I said how long will this take and they said 3 more days! All of this so they can HEEEELP me by beefing up security! If i need help i will ask for it! Dont just shut me down!

I ordered and payed for a domain, then I ordered hosting, then I ordered the SSL, I paid in advance for the services.

On June 23, 2020 out of nowhere my website was deleted, they lied and said it was the developer.

I was only one with my password, plus the the 2 step verification. I have put so many hours into this site.

I called the US number but never stayed on the phone, about 3:45 I receive a text indicating that they noticed I was calling, the text came from a CDN 647 number.

This time I called the CDN Godaddy customer service, and I end up paying for restoring fees, after they tell me nothing can be done, all of a sudden I am put on hold, and then offered to additional service. At this point I am desperate. I agree to the additional service, it will take 72 hours.

Come Monday, I am calling in the police. This is wire fraud!

Firstly, I spent so much money on call, because the operators are not helpful at all.

My domain is with Host Africa. The settings have been changed a while ago. I asked the operator who can check if my email address is active or advice me on what to do.

They just send me back to Host Africa, and Host Africa did what they needed to do.

Please help!

I have had this Domain for years and I have renewed it yearly.

Last year I never received my renewal email.

I reached out to them and they said that they sent me an email.

The email that they send it to was no even operational in 10years.

They did this intentional as every year prior to last year I received the renewal to my nominated email address which was different from the one they said that they sent it to.

That domain is now worth over $15,000 that's why they stole it and refused to send the email to the correct nominated email address.

AVOID them as much as possible as I will do what ever I need to to recover my domain.

If anyone knows how to then I will fight it.

I am a college teacher at Los Angeles City College. There is one month left in school and we are on the last assignment on a canvas platform that links to my webpage on Go Daddy.

I was reviewing my bills and saw a fee on my visa statement. I didn't understand the bill and thought I had service I no longer needed. The service was webhosting for www.speechsuccess.net

I checked with my business partner and we had the webpage with www.rosalynkahn.com. So she said to cancel it .

While teaching my class the links were suddenly not working. I knew something had happened . I called my web developer and he only had moved the page for www.rosalynkahn.com

I told the person to cancel. In most business, they would tell a person that you are about to cancel a service and this is what it means.

This was not stated. I had lost all my materials for my school webpage www.speechsuccess.net.

I was told it would cost $150 to get it back up. I reached out to my colleagues and despite leaving my phone number three times. I was not called back and got disconnected each time I called back.

My students livelihood are on the line and after being online for over an hour. I got disconnected and no resolution

I have been trying for several months now (since January) to transfer a domain from the previous registrant (president of the organization) to the new president. We have answered all of the emails, filled out all the forms, and answered any questions when asked, but still have been unsuccessful transferring the domain. When we call in, we rarely speak with someone who knows what they are doing and in one case were told the only way we can speak with a tech support rep is through text (never by phone). The last email we received was confirming the new registrant is actually going to be the old one. No! Not what we asked for!

I have always been very happy with the service provided by goDaddy, but I am extremely disappointed now. Plus we have wasted so much time and experienced SO much frustration. The bottom line is our organization is unable to move forward without access to this website and email account!

GoDaddy is involved in WHOLESALE domain squatting, including people's personal last names and names that are trademarked. This is a horrible practice, and completely antithetical to the purpose of the internet. If you want to make money, deliver a valuable service, instead of squatting and infringing on trademarks, then engaging in extortion in order to fraudulently obtain a high price for squatted/infringed domain names.

I have 2-step verification switched on. The number that I use to have for that has changed and I do not have that number anymore. Now I am locked out of my account. Now I hear It will take 3 days for godaddy to verify the information I have uploaded. It should not take them 3 days to verify who I am to be able to to unlock my account so I can access my information. The banks can do this in less than 2min, and they have my money. I am not happy about this. For everything they provided they did not provide what I needed when it mattered.

Go Daddy Misleading selling a five year contract for hosting... Then adding in extra charges after..

Go Daddy sold me a five year hosting package - £597.00 1 Jan 2020 to host my site...

Plus £101. for my two Domain names... total £698.00

BUT OMITTED forwarding my emails for six months...Never saying it was an extra.

Plus 2022, they turn off my website unless I now pay a further charge for a SSL. also not included in the original cost. .

Then after 6 months of not getting my emails... I call them and was told _ FORWARDING MY EMAIL WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THEIR HOSTING PACKAGE

I lost business and face. Now this service is £3.50 extra for 2 years only . Plus I get no compensation for 6 months of no emails and Lost business.

Then instead of including the https Go Daddy NOW TURNS OFF MY SSL... 2022 and my website no longer works, and now I have to pay £140. per year extra for a secure site...

They come up with extra charges that should have been included in the original hosting package.

Shame on you - this is no way to treat your customers.

I lost 6 months of enquiries and customers, and now my site went down unless I paid another item not disclosed in the original Hosting. now pay £145. extra

Go Daddy did not make it clear, that there hosting package - does not include forwarding your emails, nor a secure SSL site.

I was then told forwarding my emails was not included so they now add on £3.550 for 2 years forwarding - and offer nothing for all the business I lost.

J. Menges "Shame on you Go Daddy" saying your hosting my site... but add extra charges after I purchase a five year contract, for which I am told there is no cancelling it. and I am stuck for 3 more years paying for extras I was not advised of when I took out the original Contract. Misleading selling.

Godaddy.com is literally laughable at this point and I refuse to give them anymore of my money.

I originally purchased my domain for $12 for a 5 years on 2/15/2016. The card on the account was no longer active ( 5 years later - new card) . On 3/21/2022, when I went online to update the billing information and pay for the domain, it told me that I was no longer eligible to restore the account and that the domain was up for auction.

On 3/22/2022, the domain went up for auction and I had to pay $6 to join in the auction to try to bid on the domain I have owned for 5 years. Lol, this domain is soooo basic ! Nobody needs my domain, but now it has 4 "bidders" in the running. This bid went from $20 to $150 in minutes. Within seconds of me placing a $10 increase in bid, another ghost bidder would respond in SECONDS to increase the bid.

So, I did not win the bid auction.

On 3/22/2022, I had to contact a broker that works for Godaddy to try to gain access to the account. That was a fee of $69.99. The broker never reached out to me.

I was told today that the domain was not purchased until 03/29/2022 ! So, all this time I have been trying to purchase the account, Godaddy allowed the domain to go up for auction and run the price up for the auction only for me to attempt to purchase it back.

On 4/6/2022, finally spoke to the broker over the phone. GoDaddy told me they did not have any contact information for the assigned broker- though he is a consultant for GoDaddy. I had to call Domain Proxy LLC - another sister company to GoDaddy to get someone who could help me.

This representative from Domain Proxy told me that on 3/22/22 the domain was up in auction but it did not close until 3/29/22 - which would make it impossible for me to be able to purchase the domain broker service for the domain on 3/22!

They then got me in touch with the actual broker, Maurcio Zambrano, who said that he has sent me automated messages. I checked my email - I have no record of him sending me anything. I checked my spam folders and everything. Nothing - no attempts were made.

To make a long story short, never let your payment lapse on GoDaddy. They have people that use a "back order" purchase tool to wait for your website domain to go up to make you pay an insane amount of money to get it back.

They got it . I'll never go out my way to purchase that domain. And I will not be using GoDaddy anymore, because they should offer a better protection for valuable and life long clients.

www.latinmusicpublishers.com , the website is not responding to my password, the information that I have does not match theirs even though both the info and the password have not changed. I refused to keep paying for an email I wasn't using so I changed the email info in the website and 2 months later I could not get in. I still had emails (at the new address) letting me know somebody purchased something and I got by, but recently the website won't even disburse the free items. I have been complaining for months, now and loosing revenue and customers and nothing gets resolved. They keep telling me that someone will send me a password to get in and nothing ever happens. The website is visible but woocommerce is not responding so people are unable to purchase anymore. Calling them is a colossal waste of time, please help!

I was sold on a a monthly plan to pay $125 per month for GoDaddy to not even design, but to add pages, text and images that I supplied to them and now I have waited 15 days for them to upload content to 3 pages and when I call every 2 days, they say two more days. I am almost at my limit where I just will have to say goodbye to GoDaddy, a company I've relied on for years but lately has had many issues, AND COVID IS NOT TO BLAME. Sad!
