I know there are reputable contractors.
Somehow, I chose a bad one - Gimme Shelter Roofing.
They have a real good approach and the sales pitch was very convincing.
That's where my troubles began.
They seem disorganized and in some sort of conflict with themselves.
Their crew was not completely informed, I don't think they have any office staff, just a real mess to deal with. I think they just hire people off the street and no one seems really trained about the work they are doing.
I could not get any resolution after numerous calls.
I just suggest you do some homework before choosing a contractor.
These guys should be selling used cars not home improvement.

I checked into these guys first and instead I chose a good company - large but local. Great service - (can I say who it is in this comment?)

Thanks, I met someone from them and was worried.
They came by my home after the hailstorm. They seemed good but the longer they talked, I began to realize they were just sales people with no real knowledge or care for my home. I chose instead. I was very happy I chose the other guys!
