Gianoli ear surgery
I was seen by Dr. Gianoli and AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. He is negligent, careless, doesn't seem to actually pay attention to anything, and would rather put a patient through hell, than admit he didn't do his job properly.
It's just awful. A surgery and afterwards I am WORSE than when I walked in the door.
I promise you - Dr. Gianoli is the kind of outdated Doc who doesn't have 2021 level knowledge - aka treating your patient like they're worth a damn.
Desired outcome: This doctor shoul dnot be in practice anymore

Dr. Gerard Gianoli from Ear and Balance Institute and OLOL Pontchartrain Surgery Center in Covington Louisiana is coming of as a very caring and compassionate doctor, and he also comes off as a competent doctor, unfortunately, for my experience it turned to be a false pretense. I had a surgery at Pontchartrain Surgery Center to repair a fistula that according to his clinical impression was the source of my dizzy spells following a car accident. This surgeon claimed that I needed a minimally invasive outpatient surgery that would take care of the dizzy spells, but this was not the case for me. I ended up deaf in one ear, damaged facial nerves and more intense dizziness, after which he offered to fix my other ear as well. Do not be deluded by his kind appearance covering up for his poor surgical skills and poor medical judgement. My experience with this doctor has been fatally disastrous for the quality of my life.

I am a victim of this all cash doctor. He performed on me a criminal surgery based on a scam diagnosis of what he called a perilymph fistula. Too late for my life I have learned that this is a non legit diagnosis and no legit hospital in the US perform such surgery. He left me on disability and caused me irreversible damage that ruined the rest of my life.
