Georgia Department Of Labor - Lack of communication from the georgia department of labor - I need my unemployment $

First, I understand the pandemic situation the country is in. I have emailed, left messages at the local career center, I cannot get any response from anyone about my unemployment claim I filed on 04/06/20. I am going on my 7th week with no income. Husband on social security, I am a breast cancer patient, and have used my last $100. Why cant someone follow up on my claim and process what I am entitled to?
I provided my direct deposit information, email, phone number, even to the georgia department of labor commissioner. Still no response. My next move will be to the local tv stations and further up the ladder if I have to. My co-worker received hers within 5 weeks. The only difference? I filed mine in a different county than her. Where is my income!

I have had several problems with GADOL, their website never updates until there is a problem weeks after everyone is having a problem getting paid this has been since last year. I have copied all websites updated and the date stating what to do since you could never get an answer from them on phone, by email and when you make an appointment on a monday morning that appointment for non payment would be into the next week, and still no payment when you finally have the person assigned to that appointment they tell you to keep claiming your weeks you are in Phase # 1 # 2 or # 3 depending on what they want to tell you ? I have been delayed in the last Cares Act passage did not get any monies owed from that DEC 2020 passage Until March 18, 2021. Then my yr ended but nowhere on their website did it state to reapply if your yr ended, not until April 13, 2021 you had to find it by browsing everywhere in site and then there was a BYE little button, clicked on that and it stated if your yr ended you must reapply and there would be a link telling you this on your UI page but there was not a link at this time, it took weeks for that link to show up, I when reading that decided to reapply no link to reapply only a link to apply for UI benefits go through all the ? and sending it to GADOL. Another Delay tactic was a foot, there was another Benefit passed by the government ARPA. No email or letter ever sent by GADOL that Benefit yr ended like they said would happen. Tried again to email called more than 10 times never received call back in all those months except the one from the appointment and he did not tell me when I would be paid, just keep claiming each week and you are phase 3. I sent another email to my career center and they said I was approved on April 4, 2021 for next round but never received any payment they said they had to validate that my unemployment was valid, but my employer never received a letter until 5-13-21 and they said that it needed to be faxed by 5-14-21. My employer faxed paper they wanted on validating that I am still Unemployed because of Covid-19 lack of work due to businesses are slow in restaurant industry which our employer relies on for the product. Remote only provides 10 to 15 hrs for me to work no full time work available. The GADOL lady called me on 5-17-21 asked me why I was unemployed and why I have hours, told her that employer sent paperwork via fax on 5-13-21 she stated the GADOL did not get any paperwork from employer. Now I had the fax page he sent them from employer since he was swearing, he sent it to them, I told her I could sent you the paper from the fax verification, she said ok send it to me. She then approved for payment for that week, but when doing this she never paid me for the whole month before April 3 2021 thru May 1 2021 weeks ? I sent her an email on this she stated when reviewing my claim that I did not claim any of those weeks, that is not true and I had each week verified on GADOL UI verification that I claimed each week and sent that doc to her but I still have not been paid for all those weeks again GADOL is stalling so they will not have to pay everyone for back due payments and we know they are stopping the extra little 300 on June 26 2021 week forever, since they think we do not want to work and we are getting paid more than when we worked which is not true in many cases. GA does not pay a living wage for unemployment and they tax their unemployment too, many states pay more in unemployment and still do not tax the unemployment ever, we are getting stabbed in the back they get monies from government to pay everyone and they do not pay them what they are expected to be paid. SAD ! I would like to be paid my back payments owed to me. Thank You.

I have not been able to claim my unemployment for three weeks now. I have called and email the Department of labor in Americus, Georgia, but haven't received any response back from them . I can't get into my UI portal it keeps telling me ACCESS DENIED. I would appreciate it if someone would get in touch with me and let me know what is happening .
Thanks Sharon Layfield

I filed for UI and Pandemic Unemployment assistance in February. I still have not heard anything. About nine (9) weeks have elapsed and no word period.
I want to know why the state Department of Labor is allowed to withhold Federal Pandemic funds from the tax payers of Georgia. I qualify for the Federal Assistance due to having to quit my job because my daughter's school kept closing and reopening on a whim.
I am sick and tired of being under represented by the worthless government programs in this state. It's almost like they're never actually there when you need them the most, yet we always have to follow their rules. I hope the commissioner enjoyed his time screwing thousands of people out of their assistance because he won't keep his job after this.

There are no words for the Lack of Concern from the Department of Labor concerning the hard working citizens of these United States...The Unprofessionalism we've all to to endure during this Pandemic is Unacceptable and all the Employees at DOL should be held accountable..It's not y'all money to keep or to decide who gets it or not. The entire department needs to he investigated and their job performances as well as the Lack of Empathy for the American people whom are suffering during this Pandemic

I am going through the same thing, I was approved for PAU then after many months of filing every week expecting a payment I received a denial letter. I have contacted Ga Governor Kemp and Senator Purdue including Ga DOL Commissioner. I'm 66 years old, disabled and when I interviewed for part time job Feb 2020 I was offered the position however, he had to recant the offer due to the panademic and shutdown of government. Then I was exsposed to COVID-19 twice by members of my household so I was quaranted.
I have appealed decision by mail. fax and online. I can't get a response from anyone. If this wasn't a direct loss of wages or direct impact of COVID-19 I don't know what is.
I wish the news stations would listen to people like us. I'm afraid me and my service dog are about to be sleeping under a bridge next week.
I can't believe this is happening in the United States of America - I have worked my entire life paying my taxes and for the first time asking for help, it doesn't appear anyone cares.

Georgia Department Of Labor - t & brothers construction

I am Kerry Lewis who worked for Thomas D slagle Since October 20, 2018. Thomas provided his workers with a credit card for supplies when needed. I was the live in shop manager. As April 2018 Thomas has removed me without notice and has not paid me money owed for services. Thomas has made statements that owes me money but yet has failed to pay me. There was a balance of $1100 spent on the company credit card by myself in which it was stated I was owed money by Thomas himself. Thomas has locked me out of all my belongings and and Did not give a legal 30 to 60 day notice of having to move.
