General Motors 2015 chevrolet 2500hd silverado

The Intellilink touch screen will not work. It locks up and will not allow you to change the radio station, or use any of the options. It shut everything down and you are not able to a phone call, it freezes up. I have had it into the dealership (Beardmore Chevrolet) and they said they had it fixed. They charged me $137.00. We didn't even get home and it did it again. We returned to the dealership and they recalibrated again. I was told that I could bring it back if this didn't work and they would "drive it around" to see if it would do it. They had already had it for an entire day. I have not taken back as they do not have an answer. I was already charged $137.00 for nothing. I returned recently and called them and was again told that they needed the truck to drive around and see if they can get it to do it. I have shown them pictures and took it in when the screen was locked up. It is very distracting when you are driving and could easily be the cause of an accident. People have different work around on the Internet but no one had a definite answer. For what you pay for a new truck, there needs to be a recall and a fix. This is an accident waiting to happen.

General Motors gas gage not working for years on 2006 chevy trailblazer

Several years ago I received a recall on my fuel tank sensor (?) where it reported the fuel gage not working. It said it would pay for half of the cost of getting it fixed (th gagge would not register how much gas I had). I did not have the money to get that fixed although my gas gage had not worked for a long time. Later on down the road I got a letter saying it would reimburse for the amount paid to have that fixed. When I called to see what they could do for me they told me that they could no longer honor that because my mileage was over the amount allowed, which was not the case when the first letter came out. I think this is absolutely ridiculous! I love my 2006 Chevy Trailbalzer but I am not fond of GM not standing behind me in this matter. Your company is aware of this problem in this vehicle but yet you found a way not to fix this problem that was known to happen in this particular car. Just wanting to let you know my opinion.

I took my Chevy Sonic LTZ Turbo the the dealer on August 28, 2019 with transmission problems. I later spoke to a techinician there who gave me a brake down of what was going on. He said something about the engine and turbo and never mentioned the transmission. He later said it would not be covered and I should contact my insurance company and have them...

General Motors 2002 buick regal

I purchased this vehicle used two year ago. It's a 2002 buick regal supercharged V-6.
This car almost killed me! Three days ago in 95 degree heat in traffic while driving the engine quit. I had the A/C on so all the windows were up. I tried to roll down the driver side window and it would not roll down. none of the windows would. Then I tried to restart the engine but the car would not start and the shifter would not move from the park position so others may push the vehicle off the road. I could not open the doors to get out of the vehicle. In other words I was trapped in this death trap. All the doors were locked and would not unlock. What and who was the [censored] at Buick who designed these assinine features into this pile of [censored]?

General Motors 2012 chevy malibu

I own a 2012 Chevy Malibu with 103, 000 miles, currently. I paid off my loan in May 2019 and I have had problems ever since. I have taken my car to 7 shops including a GM dealership that was not sure what was wrong with my car. They would need to take a part my transmission to figure out the issue, which is what they narrowed it down too, but still unsure. Approximate cost $3, 000. I am unable to pay that amount to fix my car, with no guarantee that is what is wrong. I have read many forums and this seems to be a common problem with the malibu.
Another problem is my passenger headlight goes out monthly. And as you are aware, I have to take the front end of my car off to change a light bulb. Again I have read many forums and this seems to be a common problem.
Please help me. I am a single mom of 2 kids. A lifetime gm owner and would like to continue to be.

General Motors amateur brakes/poor communication

I own a small company with 6 Company vehicles (All GM Products). My 2016 Suburban, 2015 Suburban, and 2014 Silverado all needed to have the brake booster assist motor replaced. At the time of each failure, I had to pay for a new brake booster because I had exceeded 36, 000 miles on each vehicle. I know this was a defect, wrote to GM about it, but like the ignition scandal, it fell on deaf ears.

Today, I received a letter about a fuel injection function recall on my 2016 Suburban. The recall notice states that the condition applies to 6.2L and 5.7L engines.

Does anyone, besides myself see the problem here?

The Problem is that GM has not offered the 5.7L motor, in a suburban, since 1999. They also didn't offer the 6.2L until last year. This recall notice isn't worth the paper it's written on.

I call customer service, and some woman in the Philippines is informing me that there is no recall information on my truck.

On another note, I wanted to know if my 2016 Suburban is a FFV vehicle. The owners manual states that if I have a Yellow Fuel cap, the car can use up to 85% ethanol. Guess what? The 2016 Suburban doesn't have a gas cap.

Who is running this company? Is it no surprise that Dodge beat Silverado sales for 2 consecutive quarters? I want to be a loyal GM customer, but the quality of the newer vehicles, and communication process is broken.

My personal car was a Escalade with the Eight Speed transmission. After 3 Transmission replacements and about 10 "Software Upgrades" I asked for a new car. What did GM do? Nothing. I had to start a lemon law claim, which was processed without much of a fight. I really loved the look and feel of the Escalade. When it was cold, the Tranny would slip. This was not disputed. If I let it warm up for about 5 minutes, the Transmission was fine. Who wants to drive a 90K car that has a defective transmission?

My point, someone at the top is asleep at the wheel. As a shareholder and a customer, we need to attend shareholder meetings and have the executives do their jobs!

My 2004 2500 Suburban with a 8.1L was flawless. In 3 years I never had a warranty claim with that vehicle. My 2007 Suburban with the 6.0L motor had one warranty issue (Drivers side window lift motor). Why can't GM make vehicles that are as reliable as the vehicles that they made last decade?

General Motors incomplete repair job on my 2012 gmc sierra

Several of my warning lights came on and truck started running poorly.Took it in for diagnosis, they said spark plug needed to be replaced($411.00)Iauthorized repair and they did the work but they neglected to replace catalyctic converter, which as I understand is federally mandated with vehicles under 80, 000 mi;les with no cost to the customer.Problem reoccurred only worse and I ended up paying almost $5, 000.00 dollars for proper repairs at a different dealer in Colorado springs, because I could not trust daniels long Chevrolet to do the repairs properly. How do you suggest I recoup my money for an incomplete repair job?

General Motors experienced faulty air conditioner 4 times. 3 times within warranty period. looks like the same problem according to the mechanic who looked at it.

Bought the car in 2014 a Buick Enclave. Brought the car to North County Buick shortly after purchase (about 3-4 months) due to a faulty air conditioner. Right side air did not blow cold air.
On October 02, 2014 I brought the car in for the same problem. The car was returned to me and worked for a while. On July 31, 2017, I had to bring the car in again for the same problem. Both times it was stated in the work order that the A/C evaporator was leaking. Now on September 04, 2019 I am having the same problem but am outside the warranty period. I had a independent mechanic look at it and he said that I have the same problem. I believe that I should be able to have this fixed under original warranty because it obviously wasn't fixed correctly. Please validate this and open a case that I can use when I go back to the North County Buick dealer.
Thank You,

General Motors repairs

I brought my car in for Catalytic Converter to be fixed which was covered on warranty. They didn't have the part but quoted me for multiple repairs they said they found on other things. I passed and said I'll repair them myself. They had the car for two days and had me pick it up since the part wasn't there. After picking up the car it was making a loud noise that wasn't there when I dropped it off. I brought it back and they said it was my Alternator which wasn't covered. I find it hard to believe that within them having the car if stopped working. There was also a crack on the front bumper. It's now been a week and Catalytic Converter still isn't in. I'm very upset. I feel that I'm being mislead and ripped off. I was debating trading in the car next year but I will no longer ever buy a Chevy or maybe GMC car again. They had no problem finding issues that they can charge me for but not fix what's under warranty. I hope I'm not wasting my time sending this. Thanks

General Motors 2500hd silverado duramax truck

I went to go purchase a new 2020 Duramax Truck this weeked to replace my 2012 2500HD Duramax Truck. I think the Engineers did a great job on the new Exterior Styling! Whoever designed the Interior of the new $76, 000 should be Fired! They need to look at the competition of the Ford F250 Power Stroke and the Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins and the Toyotas that have all upgraded there interiors to Push Button Starting, Large Navigation Screens, Beautiful Leather Interiors, put the Shifting on the Center Consol, etc. After 25 years of Chevy Trucks I will be buying a new RAM 2500 Cummins until the Chevy Truck Engineers upgrade the Interiors to match the Competition. The interiors are not much better then my 2012 which is going to be 8 years old in a few months.

General Motors 2009 gmc acadia timing chains

I have a 2009 GMC Acadia with 90, 909miles on it. The engine will not crank. It has been diagnosed as having an issue with the timing chains. My research has shown me that GMC has experienced a rather large number of issues with timing chains.
I know that the stated warranty is 5yrs, 100, 000miles for the drive train. However, I am hoping that GM will provide some kind of support to have this issue resolved. I would be dealing with Nash Buick GMC Dealership in San Marcos, Texas.
Thank you for your consideration and reply.

General Motors 2019 3500 customer service sucks!

My experience with GM has been horrible! First truck 2019 3500 would surge when in regen mode and would be stuck in regen mode for 200-300+ miles at a time! Also had transmission issues, Radio issues and clock issues. I was told by my corporate case manager to trade in my first truck for my family's safety (gm couldn't/didn't) fix it after 9-11 times in the shop. Corporate case manager said gm would help with the cost diff.. nope! A $100 oil change doesn't offset $12, 000! When the dealership does everything they can and requests gm buys the truck back (acknowledging the issues) they still wanted to keep working on it! Sorry I didn't pay $64, 000 for it to be stuck at the dealership week after week! And after it ran into my trailer two times and my garage wall once.. I couldn't trust this truck! These issues were reported from the first 2 weeks of owning it! Now all they say- you traded it in there's nothing we can do.. you did nothing for 8 months and are now using this as an easy out! Wish I didn't own any gm vehicles at this point! They are great at saying sorry but sorry doesn't fix a vehicle or $12, 000!
Corporate help.. if you reach out to GM corporate for a case manager or claim, good luck! This will be the most frustrating run around ever! They are zero help and you'll be lucky to get a returning phone call that actually helps your problem! They never call back on the days they say they will- if they call back at all! The first phone call you make you'll get someone who agrees with you and makes you think things are actually going to work out. Next you might get a "case manager" to call you back and tell you gm is sorry and they will note it and "look into it". That's all the corporate staff did for me after 5 months of calling them! I understand the corporate people can't flip a switch to fix the issues but what's their job if nothing is done after the phone call? Log phone calls and say I'm sorry!

General Motors automobile

I own a 2012 Cruze. I was sold this car even with known recalls but not told until a few weeks after the purchase. They should have been repaired on the lot. Fast forward to 2019 where I have had to replace both front wheel bearings, the water pump has been replaced once but is already leaking again (3 months since replacement), thermostat housing twice, thermostat once, and now I have 3 separate oil leaks, all at 67k miles. This is ridiculous. The Cruze is known to be a garbage car according to every mechanic and service rep I have spoken to. GM refuses to give any assistance to repair these oil leaks which are too expensive for me to repair. GM needs to own up to the fact they made a faulty car and make the situation right!

General Motors passive exhaust valve

I bought my 2016 Chevy Silverado on 4-15-16 and made Parker Chevrolet in Champlain, N.Y. aware of the passive exhaust valve on 7-15-19. It was temporarily fixed and I'm still having the problem to this day. This vehicle was under the bumper to bumper warranty (3yr/36, 000) and should have been covered. They are trying to charge me $764.64 to fix this problem. I wonder why GM wouldn't fix this problem instead of letting their customers have to pay a huge bill. I would like some help with this problem. I did choose Chevy because I thought they would be better than the other car brands but now I'm wondering. I would appreciate any help I can get with this.

General Motors vehicle serviced for check engine light

On or about May 16, 2019, I took my 2014 Chev Cruze to Ourisman Chevrolet to see why my check engine light was on. They informed me that I need a catalystic convertor. They ordered it and about five days later the part came in. The catalystic converter was put on and I was told that I could come and pick my car up. The charge was a little over $1800. On my way home from the dealership, the check engine light came back on. I called my service guy, Roland Anthony and told him that the light came on immediately after I pickup my car. He told me to bring it by. Several days later, I took my car back to Ourisman. After about 5 or 6 days of not hearing from Mr. Anthony, I called and asked about my vehicle. I was told that they could not determine what the problem was. The next week, I went to the dealership to see what was the problem. They had not found out what the problem was. I ask to speak to the GM and was told that he was not in, but they would have him call me. A day or two later a gentleman called and stated that he would have the problem solved as soon as possible. Two days later he called me back and stated that they had found the problem. He stated that I needed an oxygen sensor, and that they would install it feel of charge to me. Finally after about 10 days, I was told that I could pickup my vehicle, that it was ready to go. I went to the dealership to pickup the vehicle. As soon as I started my vehicle to leave, the check engine light came on. I immediately went back into the dealership and complained. After speaking to Mr. Anthony, he had me speak to a heavy set gentleman who in charge. I was told that there was not a service manager. This gentleman told me, beause there were two catalystic converters, one now new and one old, I should drive my vehicle for several weeks and the check engine light would go off. I drove my car for the two weeks and the light didn't go off. I called Mr. Anthony and told him and he said, that I should drive it a little longer and drive a lot on much shorter trips, other that straight to work. That I need to do a lot of stop and go exceleration. I drove another week and noticed that when the engine got hot, that a message to "service the traction control" light would come on. He ask me to bring the vehicle in when the light is on. Afterwards, I then noticed that when this light and message came on, the car would lose power. I also began to noticed that when I lost power, I would use an excessive amount of gas. I took my vehicle back in, it's now June. I was again told that I needed the catalytic replaced again. That the oxygen sensor that they put in was faulty and had cause damage to the converter. The only problem was that the converter was on national back order. It took about two months for the converter to come in. My vehicle was using gas at an alarming rate. They told me that I didn't have to worry about my the vehicle catching fire. I usually use 1/2 tank gas a week going back and forth to work. I was now using two tanks a weeks. On August 24th, I took my vehicle back in, spoke to Mr. Anthony again and also the new service manager, Mr. Kelly and was told someone would look at my car immediately, but would probably not be able to do anything until that Monday, the 26th. I rented a car, because I was told there was no loaner cars available. On August 27th, I went by the dealership to check on my vehicle only to find out that they hadn't looked at it yet, No loaner car available. On August 29, I called Mr. Anthony to find out what they had found, only to find out that my vehicle had not been looked at yet. He went to find the mechanic, but could not find him, and also stated that there was nothing written on the vehicle service sheet. Indicating to him that the vehicle has not been checked.

I have been a loyal customer for more than five years. I have never been treated like this. This is unacceptable. Do I need a lawyer in order to get service?

Tomorrow, I must take this car back to enterprise and I will stop by Ourisman and take my vehicle from that dealership and take it somewhere else. You will hear from me again.
