I bought a new windows 8 after much teeth knawing i decided i needed some professionall help in the functions, etc. Well by my own mistake, i called geeks, i thought i was getting the geek squad from best buy. Well i was wrong, ma culpa, to make this short, they came out and prior too this i put
297. 00 on my credit card for 4 hours of service. Well tech. Took my hard drive out of my old computer with the explanation of retrieving information. They called 2 days later, after my call to them, telling me they couldn't retrieve information, called anther 2 days saying wanted i wanted my hard drive back. Up till now haven;t heard from them. Buyer beware, i think i;ve been scamed. P. S. I had a tech nician from hewellet packard, and they told me the same thing,
Please help me, want my money back. I;m a sr. And my funds are limited. Anything you can do
I also want to warn people do not call for service from geeks on site.
P. S. The c0mputer still did not work, and in the end it cost me over $500, 00 to get it in working order.
