GasBike.net phatmoto

Had a safety problem with the rear brake. It could not be adjusted to work properly due to space. (According to Trek bike shop who put together everything except the engine. (Still not installed) when I call phatmoto customer service and I explained the problem, they interrupted me and would not let me finish and just started what seemed like a scripted reply, from that point on no one has returned any of my phone calls or emails. They also would not accept a return for a refund. It has been been almost two years.

Filed a complaint with the California AG and FTC office over their business practices.

Desired outcome: Return bike for refund

GasBike.net phatmoto fat tire bike 79cc

Purchased new, have a safety issue with the rear brake. It is too close to the frame and can not be adjusted. Called tried to explain the problem and the guy from phatmoto just kept interrupting me and started a "scripted" like response. He would not even listen to me about the problem.
I have emailed 3 times with my warranty work complaint, have not had a reply.
My next move will be to file a complaint with California State AG office, Consumer Affairs office and since it is a motorized bike the NTSB along with filing a breach of contract/fraud lawsuit.
Under California consumer law the warranty keeps getting extended for lack of response/work on warranty repair.

Desired outcome: return and full refund

GasBike.net Clutch parts

Order a tranny parts for my new 79cc predator engine. Have the parts are new looking but lost of scratches and the clutch they sent is no good a bad used clutch I pulled out box. I want them to send new one that will work for my 79cc predator engine without clutch she dont go anywhere bad place to get parts! Pus clutch rattles and no screws to attach it this clutch didnt come the right way to attach! Broken busted part

GasBike.net phatmoto bike after sales service

I bought a Phatmoto gasbike from them about a month ago on August 2019. After receiving the bike I couldn't ride it for 5 miles, everythings breaks ! So I emailed them several times about my issues but I got no answer back from them. Eventually I am stuck with a large heavy paperweight. The lesson I learned, You can order stuffs & they will send it to you but then there is no gurantee no support no exchange nothing.
Don't buy from GASBIKE.NET.

The company is a joke! They NEVER return calls which they promise to do, they take weeks to respond to emails, their “builder locator” section has ZERO actual mechanics (which I asked them to update). Mybike has broken down multiple times, their response “well, it’s DIY bike.” Code for it’s crap and your problem. If you are a mechanic, that is the only reason to buy it.

GasBike.net stay away from this vendor! terrible customer service!

The customer service is simply awful. I purchased a springer fork and they shipped it without the part that connects the springer rods to the top of the fork. No biggie, I asked them to sent that part ASAP as I was waiting to mock up my bike and now would have to wait due to their error. I got a response on Memorial day that they would look into it "tomorrow" as it was a holiday...cool with me. The next day nothing so after 2 days I emailed again looking for a status and their reply was "They are still reviewing the case". huh? what case? I again asked them to ship ASAP as there's nothing to review and they messed up. I haven't even asked for a discount or anything I just want my part so I asked for info so I can contact a supervisor. The reply back was "Missing claims take about 3-5 business days to be completed" and no contact info for a supervisor.

I tried calling their BS phone line...it hangs up on you at 10 min 15 sec...every time. No one EVER answers the line. Oh, and if you try to press 2 to have them call you back while keeping your place in line...don't bother, they won't call you back. 2 weeks and emails everyday to try and get resolution but they only reply every couple of days and still haven't made it right. Just stalling. I've had to have my CC company get involved. Complete nightmare.

If you want to risk working with a vendor like this then you deserve what you'll get.

GasBike.net 80cc bike kit

The company did not ship my item out on time. among arriving the item was trashy. The bike worked until the mount that held the engine on broke. I then called customer service who left me on hold for 50 min to answer my call and tell me that they could not do anything about it. THIS COMPANY IS TRASHY AND NOT HELPFUL! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

GasBike.net worst customer service ever

I ordered a bike and engine kit from this company and when I got it there were no installation instructions with the kit so I went back to their website and found that they don't send paper instructions and that I had to email customer service to get the instructons. I emailed them and was told my request was being reviewed by their support team. Now 5 days 2 additional emails from me and talking to customer service on the phone long enough to explain the issue then being put on hold for 25 minutes, when I hung up, I still haven't heard anything and have received no instructions. This is the worst customer service I have ever had from any company I have purchased anything from.

GasBike.net Jackshaft kit

Worst company ever.I brought a jackshaft kit and to start off the holes to line it up on the motor was in the wrong spot and the sprockets were made of cheap tin. The product does not work and just break the chains and will not let you start the motor. Of course you have to try something to find out it doesn't work and that voids the warranty.when finally got a hold of customer after being on hold all day the previous day they said if you open the box to look at it, it voids the warranty they will not even give you credit like you would really want credit from these rude idiots in summary do not buy from these idoits the product and them are a piece of junk

GasBike.net Not a good place to buy

Very Bad Experience with GasBike.net I bought the Grubee SkyHawk 4G T-Belt Drive 49cc Motor Kit V-Mount and paid $370.45 total “November 17, 2010”, when I received the engine kit I noticed OIL leaking from some ware around the bottom rope pull start side of the engine. Well I called Gasbike support help to get a new engine replacement.( NOW HERE IS WHERE THINGS WENT CRAZEY ) I paid for the Engine Kit and it was fine when it Left there shop. In other words ---- we have your money and sent the item out the door so now its your problem---- these people will take you money and not stand behind there products with any kind of a warrantee I guess. The Engine was Very Poorly packed with FedEx boxes around it and the engine had Plenty of ROOM to BOUNCE around. I Have dealt with lots of People in my 56 years But these people take the cake. I pulled the 3 Bolts that hold the flywheel cover on and the Engine, the bottom Left side STUD feel of where the STUD bolts on to the engine and there it was a ½ inch diameter Hole in the cast aluminum crank case where the Stud holds the flywheel cover on and Bolted to the Engine crankcase had broken out. I filed a Damaged Item clam With FedEx witch will take some time for me to get my money back. If I can at all, And I might have to file a court case against Gas Bike. DON’T BUY ANEYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE they will take your money and giggle all the way to the BANK.

these people are nothing but liars ad ripp off s i placed an order back on march 7 and was double billed i have called every day trying to get my money back and keep getting the story that thier accountant has left for the day or wont be in until tommorrow as far as i am cooncerned this company is nothin but a buncth of liaers frauds and rippoff

GasBike.net No customer service, steals your money!

Don't trust this company! I bought an engine from them, it wasn't what they advertised on website. I ordered a 80cc bicycle engine. what showed up was a 65cc engine with the box being marked as 80cc. The engine itself is clearly marked as 65cc.

Also Fed-EX messed up on my shipment, but handled it well and refunded my money. Unfortunatly they had to refund it to the shipper// well gasbike, aka nationwide access llc won't give me my money back. They are dishonest and are stealing my money.

Oh it gets worse, they have NO customer service skills! When you call you get a rude lady that has no information, and says she has no manager!

They have a Disclaimer: The Jet 80cc is actually a 66cc. Down through the years China bike engine factories have always advertised their biggest engine as 80cc therefore we have listed them the same way on our website. However, the bore and stroke of an 80cc being 47x38mm only equals 66cc. Therefore there is no such thing as an 66cc/80cc bike motor and it truly does not exist and we want to make sure that you are aware of this.

GasBike.net - NO Customer Service Refuse to Honor Kits Sold

Refuse to honor kit sold as defective, refuse to replace or exchange. Poor customer service. Lies to its customers. VERY VERY HORRIBLE COMPANY! Their site totally misrepresented what it was selling, the pic was right but the product description was totally wrong. They ARE liars and sleazeballs! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY OR ITS OTHER DIVISIONS!
