Gap Customer service

I was shopping at twin cities outlet gap factory when it was my turn to check out the cashier would not ring me up she told me to "shop somewhere else, we do not sell to you people" I asked for manager and the lady told me this was "gap policy, to not serve to minorities" I told her this is wrong and discrimination. The manager a short dark haired woman found out her name is lea and she threatened to call security for me for trying to purchase items. She the manager told me to leave the store and not come back, and saying "we do not have to sell to minorities!" This is unprfoessionalism and racist so I walked out the store without able to make purchase and they both have me an evil look the entire time. I have their name and report this to cooperate and I doubt they will do anything to that manager and cashier. Gap factory in eagan, MN outlet mall is all racist and customer service is racist! To any minority reading this SO NOT SHOP AT GAP FACTORY! If you do fight back against their racist ways of " not serving minorities as their policy" gap factory policy is to serve WHITES ONLY! This is what the manager Lea said! [censored] gap for supporting having racist policies for all to know about! Store number 2564 white 545 gap factory eagan, mn 55122 managers make is Lea, short dark hair, white woman.

Desired outcome: Terminate managers and store closure

Gap is racist obviously! And do not care shame on gap! Sad how people will support such a disturbing unprofessional company as Gap. GapApplaudsPredators...GAP stands for! LOL!

Gap Extremely awful customer service

I was returning 2 pairs of defective capris that my daughter only wore once that ripped( Transaction 0049, store 09840) I purchased them 2 weeks ago. The manager at the Eaton Center, Toronto, Ontario (Jill Arrubil) was extremely rude to me. She was looking at the items and comparing them to a new item and stated "it's quite interesting that these items would rip with only after one wear" I asked her she thought I was lying and asked her to look at the receipt as it under 2 weeks of when we purchased the items. Her attitude was extremely concerning that she would treat a customer that way. I was well within policy and the items were defective. She was arguing with me the whole time and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I did eventually get a refund but she was so rude and her attitude was truly disgusting. There was no reason that there was even a discussion, she should have followed policy and stood behind the product. I am shocked that a company like the GAP would employ such a person.

Gap Jessie keyholder is KKK

Hello, I am an employee at gap factory in Eagan, MN twin cities outlet and had neared the stock keyboards named Jessie call an employee the n word in front of everyone who does morning stock, I was shocked. Jessie even encouraged other employees to use racist slurs(which they did) at non white employees. The managers knew about this and did nothing and ended terminating the black employee for doing their job correctly!?!? Gal managers are racist and told customers "gap supports white privilege power!" I decided to quit and made sure none of my friends and family shop or do business with gap factory Eagan outlet minnesota! Very unprofessional and highly disturbing even HR did nothing to Jessie except keep her and encourage her racist views! [censored] you and [censored] gap! Gap supports racism clearly! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS GAP FACTORY STORE UNLESS YOU ARE A RACIST! BASICALLY! GAP FACTORY store #2564 suite 545 Eagan, MN 55122 Twin Cities outlet parkway 3965!

Gap Racist managers sexually harassing

Jessie morning stock keyhole and managed Aaron have been tolerating Jessie to use racist slurs and threats towards employees and Aaron sexually harassing new employees and "starring inappropriately at teen employees making sexual comments and physically touching them when no one looking" there is proof of evidence just ask stock team and any honest employee who is not "friends" with Jessie and you'll get true results from them perhaps. Some employees have quit because they were victims of Aarons harassment and disturbing behavior in very inappropriate ways by him starring at teen girls chest and butts and making sexy comments towards them. There is proof 110% fact! Reports to hr were swept under rug so gap can protect their false image of racial equality! Jessie had 4 employees terminated for not being white!
Jessie had managers terminate them as they did so 1Hispanic for speaking spanish and being pregnant, 1 Muslim for wearing turbin and Jessie questioning their religious beliefs and 2 transgender employees all were terminated because Jessie did not accept them on stock team! That is racist! The manager listened to Jessie and all 4 were terminated for not being white and because Jessie said so! Jessie asked managers and close employees to "protect" her from hr and corporate as managers and her friends have done so! I have witnessed this for last 5 years witnessed this and nothing happened to Jessie she still allowed to use racial slurs and threats of lynching black people as Jessie still stock keyholder here and Aaron still manager even though he sexually harassed new and current teen employees daily! Even when reports made Gap does anything to protect their image.
There is much evidence and proof of all this disturbing disgusting unprofessional managers!

Desired outcome: Terminate these managers or close store or get sued

Gap customer service

Hello!
I was recently shopping at my local Gap store and was unpleased with the customer service I received.
As I went to check out I was greeted, She scanned my items and I had a $5.00 off coupon.
I scanned it and she requested my birthdate. I told her the date, she put it in the system and then over the intercom asked if a birthday was necessary for a coupon.
Quickly afterwards another employee came out, found a piece of paper and gave it to the girl who was helping me check out. She wanted to see the coupon again so I pulled it up and showed it to her. She grabbed my phone (without gloves on) viewed the email went back to the rest of my emails, exed out of that and went to camera took a photo of a QR code, and the went on to go to the website from the QR code, clicked a few things, handed it back to me and said " You'll have to fill this out.". I attempted to fill it out but did not have the information I needed to fill it out so I said " I have no clue.". She then said " Without your birthday we cannot apply this coupon." I said " You should be able to override this." She went on saying " Your birthdate isn't in our system so we cannot."

In total I spent 15 minutes at checkout.

It is not my fault my birthday is not in your system.
It is not my fault you cannot override for a coupon.
It is not my fault your employee could care less about me.
Until Gap does something about this I will not shop at Gap anymore.

Gap Face masks

This complaint, although a refund was requested, is not monetary motivated. Too many times, large corporations are not held accountable when taking advantage of customers, and because many times the amount in question isn't an issue most customer don't consider pursuing the matter as worthwhile. However, the small amount multiplied by 100,000+ customers eventually equals to quite a lucrative profit for the company, encouraging them to continue their deceptive practices.

What is Unlawful Advertising Practices?
A statement is found to be an example of false advertising claims either because it is literally false or because it is presented in a manner that causes it to be deceptive. Also, the statement can either contain or omit important information that would be necessary for a consumer to make an informed decision.
One form of deception is what is referred to as bait-and-switch advertising. This is when a company offers something that is desirable and replaces it with something that is not desirable when the customer attempts to purchase the desirable product.

Another concern is whether a claim is material. This refers to whether a claim would play a major role in whether a consumer would choose to purchase the product. For example, if a customer would not care about the color of the product, this would not be material and would not need to be included in the advertisement.

Based on the information above, my expectations were quite legitimate in expecting the pack of masks to all be different. I would not have purchased the products had I had known there would be 3 duplicates out of 5. This fact was quite material to me because the purpose of my purchase was to secure a different mask for my relatives thus avoiding any confusion. Receiving duplicates prevented the use of the masks.

Definition of variety
1: the quality or state of having different forms or types
2: a number or collection of different things especially of a particular class : ASSORTMENT
3: something differing from others of the same general kind : SORT

The company uses words such as ASSORTMENT/ASSORTED/VARIETY in their description, and yet customers will be disappointed when receivI got as many as 3 duplicates in a pack. Contrary to all the photos displayed online and the descriptions of the products. The company even went as far as fabricating information in their attempts to justify their false advertisement. One descriptive not used in their detail outline was "SURPRISE, " however, according to their argument, "customers were informed it would be a surprise pack." FALSE!

Gap unethical behavior and misrepresentation

I was at the Gap store in Garden City on Jan 15th. When I was checking out, the cashier was interrupted by someone who seemed to be a manager. The woman advised me that I was eligible for a upgrade since I was a long standing member and spend a lot of money. I told her that was fine and asked if I would be getting another Gap card. She said yes. She never advised me that I was opening up a Visa credit card. I went on line to pay my bill and didn't see the items showing yet. When I looked again on line, I noticed a new credit card with the purchases I made. I called Gap immediately to close the misleading account and paid off my balance. Now my credit score went down 30 points with TransUnion. I don't recall the woman's name however I have my receipt and the Cashier# is 3143803 and the transaction number is 7496 Cashier no 004 store # 02550 Sales 8340. I will indeed go back to the store to obtain the woman's name but so furious that I wanted to make this complaint immediately.

The courier delivered the parcel to the wrong place. I contacted Tmall GAP's customer service, At the beginning, the customer service asked me to contact the courier myself, and they asked me to wait a little every day, and asked me to refund.
In fact, I feel that the customer service does not want to help me solve the problem.

I believe in the GAP brand, but I hope it can also improve customer service efficiency and answering ability in Tmall.
It always makes people feel lost.

At this moment, I just want to handle this matter. Please kindly help and tell me when will I receive the product I purchased?

Gap product and boxes

Today, I went to shop at Gap for Christmas gifts. During check out, I requested 2 boxes for items that I was purchasing which were about $300. I was told that the boxes are for card holders. I told them that I had the gap card; the lady proceeded to check out and when I went to pay with my discover card, I was told that I could not have the box. The box is only, when I would pay with the gap card. I was told that this is policy change for Gap and Boxes are provided, when it was paid with gap card. I decided to return everything and went to Nordstrom to shop. I returned him and the items that I gathered all the items I purchased a few days ago to return to gap as a sign of protest. If a company is so desperate that cannot provide a card board box during holidays, then I do not need to shop there either. I am going to spread the words and ask my family not to shop at gap either. The company is going down and its stocks are on life support. Nordstrom provided a gift wrapping for free and added ribbon. There are plenty of stores in Houston that would take my money in any form.

Gap service

I come to this store quite a lot but as I walked in the other day I asked an employee for a manager, very nice young lady she pointed me in the direction and they were all standing in a circle talking, one tall lady with short hair was extremely loud very unprofessional I couldn't stand it so I just waited in line, it really shocked me on how can they just stand there for so long as if they don't have a job to do, I was very disappointed.

Gap bad management

Rude management! I was shopping at Gap and overheard a lady speak about a co-worker in a very negative and condescending way. She was judging her looks, saying she was some "beauty expert".. When I was waiting in line at the register, I saw she is a manager there! This is no way to treat your co-workers. The lady she was taking about was working at the register and very helpful and friendly. I don't usually complain about stores, but it was a very negative experience to overhear this kind of gossip by management. She seemed unaware of her surroundings and unappreciative of someone who was doing her job well. I thought Gap policy was inclusiveness? You have to walk the talk. This manager had long brown hair, glasses and braces. I hope she gets called out for this. Not to lose her job, but to be kinder and maybe more understanding that not everyone cares about her beauty standards. If it wasn't for the kindness and smile I got at register, I would not return there. And by the way, this lady opened 2 credit cards with customers in front of me in the line. Seems to me she should get better treatment.

Gap managers

I was an employee they called me fat
they had a dirty break room
no air conditioning in the fitting room
they withheld my check
they have carts all around customers and kids where they can get hurt people have slipped on them
I was in a car accident and they said I took a week off
I was in a accident it was 5 day and I showed my picture of the accident

Gap high rise girlfriend chinos.

I have purchased chinos from oberoi mall. Last month . Just wore for the 1st time. It is been frad from the side of the Frabic attached. Such a big brand how can u sell this type of products. Really very embarrassing moment it was as I was on the way to office. I was happy to have gap brand in my closet but I have think again to buy for 2nd time. So I need to get full refund from u guys. Gap my mother was harrassed when she wanted to make a return.

My mom bought a dress for me and the same style dress In a different size for her. She decided she didn't want that dress so she decided to return it. She had no idea that they failed to ring her up for the dress so when she tried to return it they treated her as if my mother had stolen the dress and harassed her. Treating her as a criminal. They made her wait while they were looking at the cameras and later found out it was their mistake. They never apologized for accusing her.

I have worked at the GAP in 2003-2004. My mother and I have been a loyal customer since the early 90's and I'm sad to say we are so appalled by the customer sevice we will never shop at any gap store ever again. We will not support a store that treats customers so horribly.

Gap unable to view account statement

Hello,
I'm a customer from allen avenue branch ikeja, Lagos. Its been a week now, and my inability to view my bank statement via GAPS has become a nuisance.
I cant understand how frequent visit to the bank to lay my complaint and the bank staffs is yet to resolve it.
kindly attend to my account statement with urgency before i take a rash decision to close down the account and urge others to do same because of lack of good service.

Gap payment warnings

Somehow I am not informed when and how much I should pay by post or email. Gap charged me a lot for late fees. Please pay it back as credit or money to my account and inform me by post.

I cant see online all why I should pay 325 us ...,

Gap gap synchrony credit card

Please dont use synchrony financial bank for gap or you will lose customer
My credit card was closed by synchrony bank on 4/5/2019. Upon inquiry I found out that it was based on transunion credit report of february 7th, 2019. They based the decision on two-month-old report while it should have been most recent march report which was positive. Their customer service directed me to dispute with I explained to their customer service was that in beginning of february I had made significant payments on another credit card which was the source of low score and so because of these payments my credit score went up in march. Them randomly closing my account on 4/5/19 hurt my credit score which dropped by 12 points in all credit reports. I was actively going through mortgage and closing at the time, so this hurt me and my ability to secure a good interest rate. They caused me immense distress by doing this.
I called them again to get my voice heard and spoke with their customer service people on 5/1/2019. Another insight she provided me that even though report was negative, had I not paid full balance in march on my gap synchrony credit card you guys probably would not have closed my account. So basically, the bank penalized me for paying in time and in full. I have sent a letter to their president margaret keane now but I don't think they will do much and I need additional help.
Please help influence synchrony bank as a longtime customer of yours and you can ask them to look up my entire payment history and see that I was always paying on time and in full all the time. If yo don't help me in this matter with synchrony you will lose me as a customer as I wont shop with gap anymore because you have such a bad financial institution you have partnered with which caused me distress

Gap plastic hangers

I was at an Old Navy off of York Road in Timonium, MD this morning and saw a giant box of plastic hangers being thrown away. I was SHOCKED! Why doesn't your company have a plan in place to recycle or re-use these hangers? Just thrown into the garbage? This is a horrible way to treat our planet! There has to be some way to change this? I work on a radio show in Baltimore and will be talking about it if it's not addressed thank you!

Gap terrible customer service lack of information

Today I went into a Gap store on Merrick Avenue in Merrick NY Long Island to purchase a coat for my daughter. I had previously seen online that GAP had a 40% off sale plus a 10% off outerwear online and in stores. So I decide I would just go into the store to make my purchase. When I went to the counter to pay for my items the female sales associate offered me the option to apply for the GAP credit card for an additional 10% off which I declined and then told her "there is already an additional 10% discount advertised on the website". She then replied "no I don't think so" which I then preceded to show her the GAP website home page that advertised this promotion and she then asked me if it had a discount code and I replied "No it doesn't however it says in the fine print 10% taken off at register". She then seemed bothered by her expression that I was insistent on an additional 10% discount that none of the associates were aware of. She then called over a male associate and asked him if he was aware of the additional 10% discount and he also replied "no is it a groupon or something" (I've never seen the GAP on a Groupon by the way). I replied "no it's on the GAP website he then asked to read the discount fine print in my phone and then said "it's on outerwear only do you have outerwear?" I said yes it's in the bag that was already packed in the GAP bag by the female associate. He then with an attitude agreed to apply it to the coat. I then left the store feeling like the sales associates were upset I was asking for this additional 10% that I guess they thought I made up. When I arrived at my home I looked at my receipt and to my unpleasant surprise I saw the coat that had a tag for $78 was rang up at $88. I could only feel this was done purposely. Since it was late and store was closed by the time I reached my home I could not go back to disputed the charge. I actually never want to go to that store again after the terrible customer service I received by those two associates. I will send my husband to dispute the charge instead. How can the GAP advertise a discount and the actual store not be made aware! This promotion states it runs from 10/15/19-10/18/18 I suggest this store and it's associates are made aware before other customers are made to feel the way I was. Please see attachments.

Gap service at the 69th market philadelphia pa

Went to purchase gifts for my grandchildren. After shopping went to counter no one there to assist for check out. Asked one of the ladies to assist us. Waited five minutes still no assistance. Walked out of store came back asked for manager. She was very short said I told the lady to help you. She went to stock shelf. The lady that was suppose to help had on a total blue dress. Service and respect goes along way. This store needs customer service training very unprofessional . Will not shop in that store again.
