Gala Hotels no refund

I booked a hotel in Mexico with the company galahotels.com.
After my booking I went online and noticed how many complaints there were to the point where it was called a fake company . I decided to cancel it and rather book with a reliable company . Galahotels recognized my cancelation and sent me the following message ...

Your request CAS-116029-Y0Y9V4 has been finalized. Please see the resolution

We will refund 1341.00 USD to your account for booking [protected].

The refund will be processed within the next 3 working days accordingly. It may need 2-3 extra days for transaction to be complete as it's an international refund issue.

Thanks for choosing us.

Gala Hotels hotel was booked out

I received a confirmation by e-mail and I had to pay when I did the reservation. For 3 nights. EUR 330.-

When I arrived at the Hotel Ibis Styles Berlin Ost the night of 10th October 2017, the hotel was booked out.

I had to stay in a hostel in one room with 12 other persons, since there were no other hotels free in Berlin.

Can you please pay me back my money?

Gala Hotels no transfer!!!

I write from Italy and I want to complain because in my last trip to Havana Cuba (August 6th 2017) on I payed for a transfer but nobody was in airport and I’ve to take a taxi by myself…so it’s false that you guarantee a transfer from Havana Airport to hotel Saratoga that I’ve booked with you included in the price.
It’s the last time that I reserve something on Gala Hotel.

Gala Hotels no refund my money

I made two reservations and then I cancelled it.

This booking was cancelled (by Gala) and I was informed that I would receive a full refund within 21 business days.

I still have not received this refund!

I have emailled numerous times and a case reference (CAS- 104146-W8L4Y7) has been oppened.

This is now more than a month ago and I still haven't received my refund.

Gala Hotels non refund of my money

I made a booking with Gala Hotels in August, I cancelled the booking 2 hours later, called Gala hotels to find out when I would be refunded back my money and I was told within 5 working days .. it's been 4 weeks now still no refund .
I rang them again yesterday and these email was sent to me :

Dear Client,

We will refund your money immediately and you will receive your money in today, There will not be any delay

Gala Hotels refund of booking cancelled by gala

I booked a hotel on 17th August through Gala for Las Vegas, booking ID [protected].

This booking was cancelled (by Gala) and I was informed that I would receive a full refund within 3 - 4 days.

I still have not received this refund!

I have called numerous times and a case reference (CAS-100964-D8F9C5) has been opened.

This is now a month ago and I still haven't received my refund.

Gala Hotels didn't get a refund after 45 days

On August 3rd I booked a hotel room in Havana/Cuba through your website and cancelled on the the same day, due to change of plans. This room was booked under a free cancelation policy, reservation ID [protected]. On August 24th I sent a message to Gala Hotels Customer Services (CAS-99199-G3W2J8) complaining that I didn't get my refund. On the next day (August 25th) I received a message from their Customer Services informing that some problem happened but my case would be expedited and I should receive my refund within a week. The message status informed “Problem Solved”. After more than 7 business days, on September 5th, I sent Costumer Services another message (CAS-100885-N8M2W4) informing that the refund (USD 180.00) was not processed. On the same day (September 5th) I received a message from their Costumer Services apologizing for the delay and informing that the bank was processing my refund. The status was, once again, “Problem Solved”.
Today is September 18th, 45 days after my cancellation, and I am still waiting for the refund (that should be done in about 21 business days according to the terms and conditions on your website). At this moment, considering that a credit card refund is almost automatic, I am really concerned if I am being treated correctly by this company, and if I will ever get my money back. As a desperate, and ultimate friendly measure, I am writing again to Complaint Board to sensitize Gala Hotels to take an immediate action regarding my case, allowing me to have the refund I am entitled to. I don't want to keep receiving “Problem Solved” messages until the problem is effectively solved.

After more than 2 months and four or five messages/complaints sent to Gala Hotels they finally reimbursed the amount to my credit card.

Gala Hotels fraud reservation

Booking iD [protected] and [protected]
Confirmed by gala hotels said reservation which was free cancellation.
They charged my Visa card and after checking with the hotel, there's no reservation from Gala Hotels or any other at my name.
I ask for the cancellation and funds return but I haven't received any answer.
After reading its a fraud I wonder if via VISA I would be able to have my charge cancelled

Gala Hotels scam

I booked this hotel with Gala Hotels and although during the booking it was clear I would receive my voucher immediately. This was not the case, I did not receive my voucher. Therefore I phoned the hotel to ensure the booking was successful and I was told they had no conformation for this booking. When I phoned gala hotels about this, they said it can take a maximum of 3 days for the booking to be sent to the hotel, and assured me there was no problem and they would contact me when it had gone through. They didn't. I waited 3 days and the hotel still hadn't received my booking so I phoned again and explained this. They finally sent the voucher through and told me they had also sent conformation to the hotel, except when I again contacted the hotel they still hadn't received anything. The hotel then contacted gala hotels and the never got back to them and they had no luck tracking down my booking.
Today I phoned again, and I was disgusted with the agents attitude towards me. He was rude, he raised his voice at me and wasn't helpful at all at sorting this out. Throughout this entire situation, I have remained calm but as you can imagine my patience was running out. They have taken my money, told me i have a hotel booked when in fact i don't. The gentleman on the phone refused to give me the contact details of the supplier, so I could call myself, and he also refused to explain to me why and how my booking has been dealt with so poorly.
I terminated the phone call because I refuse to be spoken to with so much disrespect.

Gala Hotels hotel cosmopolitan, leeds

I booked a one night stay at this hotel for 6th Oct 2017. I chose a refundable option as there was a possibility I may have to cancel, I was given the date of 2nd Oct for latest cancellation,
This booking was made 25th August. On 27th August. I did indeed have to cancel. I received no emails for either the reservation or the cancellation. I then found that immediately I made the reservation, £84 was taken from my credit card. There being no sign of that being refunded. I phoned their company 3 times and was assured it would be paid soon. I am still waiting. I now saw many others who have been ripped off by this company, refunds not being honoured. AVOID THIS COMPANY, AVOID ANY OF THEIR HOTELS. This is Theft, no more no less, but as a Turkish operation, they seem to be unreachable

Gala Hotels withholding of refund suspected bank card cloning

This company is based in Turkey. I booked a hotel (Gran Hotel Ibiza) on a free cancellation basis. They would not take Amex so I (unusually for me) used my bank card. Immediately I realised the company was Turkey based, and I then checked the internet to see if there were customer complaints about this company. Indeed there were many, so I immediately cancelled the booking. This was within minutes of making the booking. I checkled my bank account and of course the money had already been taken from my account. I received an email saying the money would be refunded within 3 working days (1-2 days more "because it is an international transaction"). I emailed them demanding repayment and received a standard response ("3 working days..."). This was on the 28th of August. In the meantime my bank card has been cloned and fraudulently used for a whole series of online purchases. It is now the 7th of September and I have heard nothing from Galahotels.com so again I sent an email demanding that they return my funds. I also spoke to the fraud department and the disputes department of my bank - who are now looking into the case. I received an email back from galahotels saying there was a delay and it would be another 3-4 days. I have now also contacted the hotel Gran hotel to tell them about my experience - hotels should stop allocating rooms to these crooks. I feel such an idiot for not checking out the reviews of this company online before booking with them. BE WARNED:DONT USE.

Gala Hotels no refund for cancelled hotel booking

I booked a hotel in Paris(twice) and cancelled i almost right away. My debit card was charged 558 Euros which I believed fully refundable as they assured me. The website informed me that the refund would take about 21 working days. After a month, the money was not paid back, so I began to submit a series of complaints to the customer service. Every time they gave me a word that it'd take a couple days or so because there is a time gap for international money transfer. For another month, I made complaints 8 times, which turned out to be of no effect. Now it's two months passed since I cancelled the booking. No more do I believe their empty words. It seems the so-called customer service dept. is simply sending messages according to their 'scamming manual' The website even stop working from time to time. I'm not 100% sure to say it's a fraud. But I can say it's in effect a bogus company preying on the people like me.

Gala Hotels do not use this company

I booked a room from galahotels, paid and didn't receive any confirmation. I phoned them and they couldn't find my reservation because all of the rooms were fully booked BEFORE I did. They agreed to refund that never was never received. So including all the facts, I have a question - where is it? What happened? Their service is always not available. I have been ringing them for the whole day. No result. Nothing.
Worst of the worst.

Gala Hotels refund not paid

I made a reservation on 19 june 2017 for a hotel in Cuba. The next day I cancelled this, because I didn't trust the website. I got a mail back that they will give me the full refund within 3 weeks. Till now there was no refund paid. I sent them mails, but they don't react. Now the whole website is out of order. What can I do to get my money back? I paid € 360!

Gala Hotels failure to provide refund

I made a reservation with this firm, totaling almost $4000, in around may of 2017. When I cancelled it around a month ago, they promised me to send me a refund in two-three business days.

I still have not received a refund.

Here is a copy of the email I sent them today:

My refund has still not been done.

I will now write another negative review.

Please attend to this immediately.

Gala Hotels company is a scam

I booked a hotel in Paris for me and my family and on my way to the hotel I called to confirm our booking and was told they didn't have any reservations for us. I sent my confirmation email from GalaHotels and they were still about able to find it. I cakmtacgrd GalaHotels to get a refund and was told they would send me a refund within 21 days. It's been 6 months and still no refund. We spend $205 with no way of getting it back. This company is a scam based in Turkey. They are robbing people and I'm hoping there is something that can be done about them.

Gala Hotels gala hotel customer service

My sister and I have booked two night in a Copenhagen Gala Hotel, and - due to insecurities about dates and length of stay - we chose NOT to go for the non-refundable option, but the second best price, which was a "Life Happens insurance" - to be sure we could make amendments to our booking.

So - life happens. And we are only able to stay one night, instead of two - and therefor get in touch with customer service.
And we are shocked, that the reply is; "You have booked a non-refundable price, and there is no change or refund allowed"!?
So - why did we pay around 20 GbP fee more than the non-refundable, to get this "security"?
This really feels like cheating a customer, and we are deeply disappointed - and I´m questioning the legal side of this.

For the future - I´ll just stay away from the Gala Hotel chain! VERY poor customer service, and doesn't´t feel like a serious company at all. (No idea where this customer service is located - all answers are in English, but the hotel is in Denmark.)

Not sure if anyone will read this, but if it really reached anyone in customer service - I can only hope that you will sort this out, and leave a better impression of your chain. Booking res no; [protected]

Gala Hotels they cancelled my booking and no refund

I booked a hotel in London through galahotels but they cancelled in the same day saying the hotel is no longer available and they will refund me ... 6 weeks later no REFUND !

I followed up every few days, mails, complaints and every time I get the same mail that my refund was processed and will take 2 -3 days !

I read on trust pilot that they are doing it to lots of people !

Please DO NOT USE THIS SITE AS THEY WILL CHEAT YOU !

Gala Hotels refund never received!

We booked a hotel in Cuba just to find out when we called the hotel that it was full. Our mistake for not checking the reviews of Galahotels.com before we made the payment, however we cancelled the booking and called them to find out about the refund.

They said we would get it within 3 day, but nothing, and now they won't respond to our emails..

They are thieves please do not book with them unless you want to lose money to Turkish scammers!

Gala Hotels unethical behavior

On 28.02.17 i made the reservation #[protected] with galla hotels for a stay with eden hotel wolff- munich from 30.03.17 to 04.04.17. on 01.03.17 my creditcard was debited of eur 737 and i received a voucher and information about the hotel. on my arrival to the eden hotel wolff on march 30th i was astonished to hear that not only they had no reservation for me from galla hotels but also that they never had doen any business with the same, or had heard about them.
i was happy that the hotel could acomodate me, having rooms available but at a more expensive rate.
on 03.04.17 i received an e-mail from galla hotels stating that they will reimburse me the amount in 6/7 days but until now nothing was received. i looked to my acc. opened by and with galla hotels to verify that they had cancelled my reservation that they never made.
