Frigidaire Smooth Surface Freestanding 5-Element 4.9-cu ft Electric Range

The screws that hold on the handle worked their way loose. This isn't the first time one or the other has been loose. Apparently the screws on the handle hold the whole door together. My son burned himself grabbing the oven door so it wouldn't crash and shatter the glass, This is a stupid and dangerous design.

Desired outcome: Full refund so I can buy a decent stove that won’t randomly fall apart.

Frigidaire Induction cooktop

I've had my 30" induction cooktop for 7 months, it has never worked right! Nothing but error codes or would just stop working! I've been on hold a total of 4 hours, disconnected three times, calls from supervisors never returned 4 times! Tec have been out four time to repair each repair has lasted 1-2 weeks. Frigidaire customer service won't replace it tomorrow will be fifth tec out!?!? I guess your time doesn't matter! Never buy another Frigidaire ! Made in China by the way!

Frigidaire fgmo3067uf microwave never work - customer service miserable

I purchased a new Frigidaire Drawer Microwave upon installation no power. Called Frigidaire and was referred to service company. That company came pretty quickly and determined it was a blown fuse, came back a few days later installed new fuse and that one blew again. They contacted Frigidaire and recommended replacement and guess what Frigidaire said no. Their response was basically that the tech did not know or was not comfortable making the repair needed. I was informed that a new senior tech would come that following Monday and would be able to make the needed repair. Monday comes and I haven't even gotten a confirmation on when this person would show. I call that office and finally get a call back. Now I am told that yes Frigidaire just schedules without knowing if they are available. Also when I explain to the new tech the issue he says he needs to order a kit for that type of repair as he doesn't have it. So basically Frigidaire lied and is trying to jerk me around forever. At one point the Frigidaire rep had asked if I can just return the microwave back to the store!
Today I try to call service again and keep getting disconnected as their lines are too busy!

Frigidaire Dishwasher Gallery

Dishwasher Gallery model FGID2476SFOA, s/n KH75022071
Purchased Lennar Home on 10/18/2018that came with upgraded kitchen appliances Gallery throughout. After 11 months the dishwasher model FGID2476SFOA started to trip the ground fault breaker and then the controller display did no longer display the selections made properly. Frigidaire repaired the dishwasher under warranty.
Again the ground fault breaker of the dishwasher started to trip on repeated occasions. Then the dishwasher never finished its cycle but still had power observed from the door bottom finished cycle led. The controller is no longer showing led's and the dishwasher does not even provide fault code. The dishwasher is no longer functioning.
So, 2 major breakdown within 30 months of ownership. Frigidaire is not willing to repair at their expenses the dishwasher that is way below its expected life.

Desired outcome: Have Frigidaire repair or replace the dishwasher at their own expenses. Have Frigidaire support their customers.

Frigidaire Frigidaire Range Model LFGF3054TFG

Interior of Range was scraped/gouged up on the inside where the door closes. Not the door itself but body of the range in the corner where the door meets the body. It had to happen before it left the warehouse and surprised it was not labeled defective. I'm keeping it for now but would expect some of my discount going forward. The 10% Lowes credit does not seem like enough to us. Take a look at the pictures below.

Frigidaire Ffet3026tdc black stainless steel double oven

Installed our stainless steel double oven and it hasn't worked since installed we had two service technicians one from A1 and one from Martin appliance here and the last one did not stay to confirm it was heating up to proper temperature and still does not work. either provide us a new one that works or a full refund so we can purchase one that does work

Frigidaire Dishwasher motor is not working & common according to the repair agent

Recently I purchased serial# TH93318999/model# FFCD2413UB2A on 11-24-2019. I did not purchase the protection plan. In December, the dishwasher stopped using detergent and it remained in the opened dispenser. Also, plastic pieces around the rack to support the dishes have melted away and the metal is exposed and rusting. I used the recommended detergent; Cascade and Cascade Rinse Aid. I did not expect this from an appliance that's about a year old. This product was purchased at Lowe's, 7420 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209.

Desired outcome: Replacement of parts needed.Serviceman said he has replaced many on Frigi.

I have tried many times to resolve this issue. I called the repairman who stated that this is a common problem and he has replaced many motors in this model. After two previous calls, the response line at Frigidaire does not answer my calls any longer.

Frigidaire electric range model FFEH3054US serial #VF03607541

Range does not operate as described in the owner's Manuel as described on page 23 under "Setting Bake." Specifically the range beeps prior to reaching set temperature which is at variance to what the manuel indicates. Three technicians have come out and verified that it doesn't work according to the manual but has said it is working as designed. Which doesn't make sense as the design and the manuel should match up., but they don't.

Results - if you put your food in when the range beeps and follow the recipe as to the timing the food comes out undercooked.

Resolution - either provide a range that works properly or provide a full refund so that I may go purchase a range that works as described.

Frigidaire Gas range

Electrical "explosion" in the oven after a few weeks. All electronics blown up. Repairman says the oven needs to be replaced. Electrolux says it will be 10 days for new one to arrive. 2 weeks later and no oven. They won't respond to email. And they have so many calls (complaints) that you can't even wait in line on the phone to talk to a person.
Product might be bad. But customer service is several notches below that.

Desired outcome: Replace the new defective oven.

Frigidaire Freezer

I am writing to you because of a major issue that involves both your organizations. October 2020, I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer. I plugged it in and kept my food in my old freezer. After about 3 days the new freezer had not gotten cold. I called Home Depot to see if I could return the freezer and was told no since I ordered it online. Really? I called the repair number and had a service company come and they added a part. Oh good - the new freezer was working so I transferred my food over and sold my old freezer. In November it stopped freezing again. Again, I called the repair number. This time I chose a Frigidaire repairman thinking they might be able to solve the problem. The repairman said he drilled open the opening more. Both people told me the same issue - something about ice collecting and touching the fan. 3 more times and still doesn't work.

Desired outcome: refund from Frigidaire for loss of food 3 times, and refund for freezer

Frigidaire Dishwasher

I wouldn't know if this is a good dishwasher as I have never used it since I've had it in mid January! I have been without a dishwasher for 2 and a half months now! The dishwasher has a tiny hole in it which causes a huge leak onto my floor which I found out before finishing one cycle. It took OVER a month to get someone out here to take a look at it. This person documented the hole, called frigidaire and stated it needed to be replaced as it is not repairable. Fast forward ANOTHER month. I called Frigidaire twice. First time they stated they have gotten the OK to replace it and will set up a day to replace it. Today, 4/1, was the alleged replacement date, I was told I would get a phone call before they came. I was home all day, nobody called, nobody showed up. I called customer service, which they contacted the "escalation team". After being on hold for OVER AN HOUR, the woman checked in on me one time, told me she's waiting for a response. Back to being on hold, now it's 6pm, the customer service department closed and the system auto hung up on me. This has been absurd. CLOSE TO 3 MONTHS WITHOUT ANY RESOLUTION. I have been extremely patient, but at this point, this is just unacceptable. And just so everyone else is aware, I opened my dishwasher to get the model number, which, again has never been used, and there is a smell coming from it! There's nothing in there and no cycles have even been done. How is there a smell coming from it!? I know if I do not get a resolution to this and an upgraded model for the stress this company has caused me, including rearranging my work schedule around to be available for this delivery that never happened, I will be telling all of my friends and family to avoid this company at all costs!

Frigidaire Refrigerator

Bought Model #FFTR1814TW from Home Depot for my mother online 1.28.20. Was installed a week later at her place. She spent half the week for years at my house due to her medical conditions, so hardly used fridge. When she died this past Feb. 2021 we moved the fridge to our garage and that is when we noticed all the rust on the inside of the freezer door. I called the warranty dept. they sent someone out and said rust is not covered under warranty and your warranty is up by 1 month ago. My mother never mentioned it to me. For all I know it was there when it was installed. She had a memory issue and just never told me. Completely a lemon.

Frigidaire Brought brand new double sided refrigerator 2 to 3 months Problems.Cassandra Summers 449 coopscourt west columbia sc29170

Model#LFSS2612TP3 /Serial# 4A00408591. First of all this will be my 4th service call .Contacted customer service and lowes several times.First time beeped so much reset several times refrigerator would not get cool.So threw out grocery.Man came out from Cunningham said he fixed it. Refrigerator was not called them back after several attempts he came said it needed another part waited three weeks almost for that .So third time freezer start freezing all the way up with big chunks of ice had to break with hammer to shut door. Called for some one else this time so they sent out frigid are repair man.So now today 03/27/2021 the refrigerator just keeps beeping will not cool and freezer reset back to 0 both sides not working. reset unplugged nothing working once again. I refuse To keep dealing with this on a refrigerator not year old. Once again lost all my grocery.Called today sent email to call back Monday.This the last draw for me I want a new Refrigerator and not this brand.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

My 6 month Frigidaire refrigerator compressor started working sporadically on March 9. I called the Frigidaire warranty department and got lucky getting a service call the next day. The techs looked and said I need a new compressor and associated parts. On March 20, the refrigerator failed completely. I have had no cooling since. I need Frigidaire to deliver the parts to the service contractor so that they can return and put my refrigerator back in working order.

Desired outcome: I need Frigidaire to get the parts to the contractor so they can fix my refrigerator.

Frigidaire Refrigerator door handle

The 6th door handle has broken, once again, at the top of the door, below the freezer compartment. The first handle as well as the five other replacement handles broke at the same location, that being, at the top portion of the handle's sleeve, beyond the secured screws. This last one lasted longer because I fortified the same area with aluminum and tape and practiced gentle handling when opening and closing. I will not pay $89.00 each for a replacement part that is continuously breaking. Are the handles made in Mexico as well? Apparently there are no quality control or any type of stress or "reliability" analysis. I want a new handle, free of charge. If this is not feasible, then I would suggest you develop a QA program. I will not pay for another door handle. Word of mouth can go a long way regarding customer service and product dependability.

Frigidaire Everything

Gallery refrigerator 2 years old. Came dented. Shelves broke and box is so un-square I can not level the piece of [censored]. Gallery Microwave went out in 4 months. Went black bad magnetron. Door already sagging. Real piece of [censored]. Gallery Dishwasher leaves dishes dirty and wet. Have a button that I have to mash as hard as I can up to 10 times before it works. Real piece of [censored]. Range looks like it was put together by a blind Chinese man. Missing half the screws around the door. Cool top moves around. Real piece of [censored]. [censored] you Frigidaire for [censored]ing me good.

Frigidaire Upright Freezer model #FFFU20F2VWS

I bought this Frigidaire Upright Freezer from Home Depot. Once it was home the inside light would not come on so a serviceman came to find out why. He came out and said it was fixed and that same day it was still not on. Within the next day it started beeping indicating that it's not up to temperature. We left the door closed all night and checked it the next morning and found all the food in the bottom basket compartment thawed out. So a second call was made and a serviceman came a 2nd time and indicated that there is a manufacturers defect that is "bowing of the door" allowing the cold air to leak out resulting in the food inside to not remain frozen and continue to thaw instead of freeze. Was told product was unfixable and a new door would need to be put on. The door had to be ordered and would not come in for a minimum of a month resulting in the loss of roughly 500 dollars in meat and was promptly told that wasn't covered under the warranty. So now still have a broken freezer and a 500 dollars food loss and a foot in order unable to be obtained for at least another couple weeks. Extremely disappointed with the customer service and lack of concern involved.

Frigidaire 27.6 FGHN2868TF Frigidaire refrigerator

Within a few weeks of install, the compressor was making a loud grinding noise every few hours. Alaso a very loud bang every few hours and these do not coincide with each other. The bang sounds like someone dropping a glass on the counter...all night long. It wakes the entire house up at midnight 2am 4am and all day long with bedroom doors shut!
They have serviced it 3 times. The company we bought it from services it. They said it needs replaced, that it has serious issues.
Frigidaire asked for a second opinion and the second service company agreed that it is jacked up. They said the entire condensing system needs replaced as well as the compressor. So the only thing that is ok is the light.
Electrolux has agreed to refund our purchase price but not the sales tax or delivery fee...plus we have to buy a more another Frigidaire unit...we have owned this turd for 4 months. So we will be out $90 delivery fee, $200 sales tax and the price increase...because this unit has to be ordered and they claim to be a year out which im sure this one is discontinued. YOU CAN NOT TALK TO A HUMAN AT THIS COMPANY. THE MESSAGE ALWAYS SAYS "DUE TO HIGH CALL VOLUME, YOU CAN NOT REACH ANYONE AT THIS TIME, CALL BACK" click. I dont want another Frigidaire and I hear that LG is worse according to one of the service guys.
Looking for a good night's sleep and less time waiting around waiting on a service tech to show up.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator last February of 2020. I started having problems with the refrigerator compartment freezing my food shortly after my purchase. I have had a repair man to come and reset the computer, then this didn't help . I called customer service again and they sent the repair man again they replaced the computer. Needless to say this didn't stop the freezing. I let it go because the COVID-19 was so bad I didn't want anyone in my home. I put up with this till now January 2021 I called customer service and they sent me a repair man he said I thought it was fixed I told him no because I didn't want him in my home because of the covid and I don't know what to do. He checked out the air vent and found a wire bent and a small cut in it so we thought ok that is the problem. So he left ordered me a new wire then came back about a week and a half and replaced it this was done on February 17, 2021 . So he left I went to store made my fresh produce purchase and put them in the refrigerator. In a few days I got my carrots out and they were already frozen. Liquids freeze all fresh produce freezes I'm very unhappy with my purchase. I bought Frigidaire because I'm a big fan now not so big of a fan. I would like for you Frigidaire as a company to replace my refrigerator and make it right. I as a consumer had all faith in in your products. That is why I chose this refrigerator.

Desired outcome: For my refrigerator to be replaced of equal value if you have another Frigidaire refrigerator that has better reviews.

Frigidaire Defective Range glass

Bought a Range model number gcre3060AFB serial number VF 01087 853. Glass on door has grease in between where you can't clean it defective sealed unit if grease can get in there .called rude customer service who raised their voice and started to yell at me and said it wasn't covered pay for it myself to be repaired. Horrible company buy another brand stay away from Frigidaire they don't back up their product
