Freeway Insurance Services I am complaining of the poor service of an employee

I was told on my insurance that was past due I was able to pay on the day of cancellation anytime before midnight. An employee named Armando Garcia he said his name was but not sure if it's true or not was chuckling and giggling at me because of all the frustration I had. I asked to speak to manager and he said there's no reason to and that they only had 13 minutes left. This insurance is ridiculous and gives out false information to people and that is not acceptable.

Desired outcome: Worst company ever and very DISAPPOINTED.

Freeway Insurance Services call center

I spoke with a CSR 2 weeks ago regarding making late payment on my insurance. I spoke with a rep who advised me to talk to ASCC regarding a late payment. When I spoke with ASCC, they advised me< I would have to talk to Freeway to see if they have an reinstate policy. So I called freeway back and spoke with CSR Jorge ( I believe he gave a badge#1614 ) who told me I had 30 days to reinstate my insurance. I asked if he could document my acct that I called in and that is the info he provided and he assured me he would. I called today 02/12/2020 to make a payment being well within the 30 days of when I called which was 01/23/2020 and spoke with Pearl with the billing department. After explaining everything to her going back and fourth with ASCC and Freeway, she tells me what I am saying "does not make sense". When trying to explain again to her that I would like the call escalated and if they recorded the call of 01/23/2020 they will hear the rep "Jorge" clearly told me not worry and policy can be reinstated within 30 days. After telling Pearl that I do not want to get transferred to ASCC to escalate with Freeway, she transfer me to ASCC. So I had to call Freeway back to get to a manager or escalation rep which I spoke to Marcos. Marcos although he was professional and I understand he has to be firm but my concerns regarding the wrong information about what the reps gave was not assuring as a recent customer. He advised the call was not recorded and there was no way we could find out what " Jorge" told me, he would counsel the rep who documented she told me policy was canceled but there is no follow-up. Marcos said there is nothing he could do. I asked Marcos if the date of the call was dated 01/23 and policy was not canceled until 01/25 why would your rep give that info? This is not the first time I have came across Freeway Reps giving wrong information. First off, Pearl transferred me to a place I did not want to be transferred to, the reps I spoke with 2 weeks ago assured me of something that false and now I am out of car insurance and my deposit I made can not be reimbursed. This is outrageous that Freeway can not follow-up with their customers and clearly they need to add more trainning for these reps. This money that I can not afford to lose just because the reps did not provide information and then they can not even accomodate of the loss. People have families that they have to care for and just seems so sad that if you choose to record that call, you would hear him say what he said. But if then, would Freeway even do anything about that? Clearly not recommending and this company needs to be reported for poor customer service and quality.

Freeway Insurance Services agent stealing money from customer

Dear, Whom It May Concern,

4391 Dorchester Rd Ste 320, North Charleston SC 29405. The date was Saturday November 16th, 2019. My girlfriend, and freeway insurance customer, called me at about 9:00am and informed me that her monthly insurance payment of $119.00 was due. I then text her my credit card information and she proceeded to call freeway to pay over the phone with my credit card information. She then called and informed me that the payment did not go through. Upon hearing this information I decided to go and get a cash advance from the same credit card in the amount of $140.00.
We drove to the previously mentioned office to pay the bill in cash. We both signed in at about 1:20PM. Her to pay the bill and me to receive a quote on my 2016 Hyundai Accent. When she was called we went together to see the agent, who was the only one working. The agent looked up the bill and said it was $119.00. We paid $120.00 in cash and she informed us the no change will be given and proceeded to put the money in a file cabinet drawer. She did print us out a receipt. Then asked me for information on my vehicle so she could get an accurate quote. I took the receipt out to my vehicle to write the VIN number on it, then came back in and handed it to the agent. I got the free quote and did not accept the insurance, then we both left, unfortunately without the receipt.
On Monday, when checking my credit card account, I saw that there was a charge that went through on the 16th of November and that it was $120.16 to Assurance insurance the insurance bill amount, so the billed was paid and yet the agent took our cash anyway. My girlfriend went to the office on November 19th to explain this and when the supervisor called the agent who work on Saturday, she denied we were even there.
I do not know if they could check computer records or the sign in log. I feel I have to write this complaint because $120.00 was stolen from me by, which is suppose to be, a reputable an agent for the Freeway insurance company. I am truly sorry for not making sure we retained the receipt but cannot let this incident go undocumented.

Freeway Insurance Services horrible customer service, unethical behavior, overcharged

Freeway Insurance Customer Service is horrible! I am currently dealing with them to help me get a reimbursement because they neglected to cancel my old insurance when I signed for the new insurance in March 30th. I have been charged over $800 in these months. In these months I have spoken to several agents but Kevin Rodriguez is the worst. He treated me with some disrespect and yelled at me that it came to a point where I asked him how would he feel if someone spoke like that to his mother, wife or daughter. The other agents who I am not going to name tried to help me but there is obviously no guidelines because they all told me different things and made me email them different paperwork. Every time I call for updates there is never any paperwork filed and I have to send them again. All they tell me is to be patient, how much patience should I have! I am extremely frustrated with them and their lack of ethic, moral and professionalism. I called directly to the insurance and they have not received any documentation from Freeway Insurance. I hate to write negative reviews of any company but I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone that is struggling financially. All I want is my refund and an apology in writing from Kevin would be nice.

Freeway Insurance Services insurance scam and lies

I called and talk to agent jose gonzales out of the mission valley branch. While was in the phone he explained that he could get me insurance at a affordable price and to come in. I told him I wad in a rush because my step son is about to get out of practices. So when I was there he told me that his company works with over 50 different insurance company and will give me the best price and match the price. He also said that what I am pay ij ng for is only for insurance and that since i'm in a rush I can pay 200 and that's for liabilities then he gonna transfer it over to full coverage. I just got a invoice from february 21 for 25/50 with med pay and road side and rental and 25/50 for property at 129 up front and 79 a month for the same. Then while I took his word ad truth I began signing everything. Now when I qent theu documents I seen a broker few of 136 which wasn't explained and that he never bump my coverages. When I called back his co worker refuse to let me speak to the manager and hung up. They said that they dont match prices and that if I cancled I lose the broker fee. And I might get back my insurance fee but minus the broker fee and insurance xoverage by day. Please help me in this. My name is quoc huynh [protected]

Freeway Insurance Services refund

I Donna mcduffie canceled my policy December, 2 2018 because I didn't take possession of the 2001 Tahoe. I spoke to someone in the office about my refund on November 14 2018, about my refund and they told me that the refund check for 245.00 was already sent out, I been calling multiple times about my refund and different people at freeway customer service been telling me different dates and I Donna mcduffie haven't receive the refund check 245.00, this is not acceptable and this is poor service. I've been nice and respectable through out this whole situation. Freeway Insurance Services service and affiliated insurances

Hi my name is Luis Garcia, I recently cancelled my policy about a week ago and wrote cancelling letter and confirmed got a confirmation but was still charged for the following month. I call and they said the policy was never cancelled now they forward it and say it can take up to 3 weeks to get my money back! What kind of insurance is this where you can't never make changes to your policy unless through a third party and then that 3rd party is always incompetent and never does their job! Wasted so much money to start this policy and time to be constantly calling to try to get an answer and once always asking reps for a complaint number or email they never provide you one! This company should never exist all they do is take your money and never do anything to help the customer.

Freeway Insurance Services dora benitez insurance technician

I've always had excellent service from Freeway Insurance so I've always made sure to get Insurance with them. This time it was a huge mistake. I was treated as if my concerns weren't important. I worked with this individual concerning getting some insurance for a vehicle I just purchased and she quoted me the wrong rates and then sent me paper work with another rate failing to include that the company Progressive charges a separate charge on top of the fee Freeway Insurance charges. After canceling everything, she again failed to include that I would have to fill out a cancellation form. Postponing the refund I would be receiving. I am very disappointed and confused as to why a returning customer was treated so poorly. I will no longer be using freeway Insurance under any circumstance.

Freeway Insurance Services online bill pay/customer service line

There is not any site that I nor google can find to pay my bill online. I have called the customer service line numerous times, and each time I'm taken off hold, able to hear the sound of the people in the office, and then hung up on. Or just taken off hold and muted and left hanging. I can't get ahold of anybody no matter what I try. I need to pay my bill and if my insurance gets canceled due to non payment I don't know what I will do. I need this insurance to drive to work and can't afford to restart a policy, I had to borrow money just to start this one. I am really at a loss for solutions here, I don't know what else to do. Please somebody read this and help me.

Freeway Insurance Services auto accident senior citizen policy that he didnt sign or recall

Backdated 2017 electronic signatures. I noticed these forms on my 72 father . since this claim he has declined in health his van has dents and is has burn electrical shocks burns on arms not oil burns he picks my 5 year old up from school and he is acting very nervous ans he said they yell at him at shop . all the forms are electronic signature and 12 ssi inquires on him and lost license he didnt get in mail credit inquiry and account change on march 6 fraud abuse physical mental 100 percent

Freeway Insurance Services sign up, and money return

I called on August 31st to get a quote by Anthony in the Fontana, ca location. I gave him my bank information with the understanding that I would not be charged until I sign the and faxed the paper work he was emailing me. I never received the email. But I was still charged to start a policy I did not even sign up for or sign any paper work for. I went into a location on 9/1 to cancel the policy that was started and was told it would take two weeks to get my money back. I don't believe that is fair that I have wait so long to fox this issue and get my money back. I'm looking for a quicker resolution

Im having a problem with the claims department. I was in a hit in run accident and the person that's over my claims tells me that what I said it's true and that he will be denial my case. All I want is my car fixed because I don't have to lie about no accident. I pay my insurance every month I shouldn't be having these types of issues to get my car fixed. Freeway Insurance Services no policy and no money no refund

On Saturday, 2/11/2017 I went to purchase auto insurance policy, After receiving the quote I agree to purchase the policy and after she charged my debit card I notice the receipt had a charge of $50 more than what we discussed and I bought it up to her attention, the agent said don't worry I will just cancel the transaction and we will refund you the money and then we will rerun the credit card with the correct amount I agreed. Then she started having problems reversing the transaction or refunding it to me. She made some calls to the accounting department and of course no one was working since it was the weekend. Then she told me that she would get it straighten out by the end of the day. I trusted her and I left and waited on her call. Of course I had to call her back. She then told me we would have to wait until Monday when everyone would be in the office. I said okay, as I know these things happen. Then on Monday I called her cause I had not heard from her, she then told me that they could not credit my money back to my credit card but they would send me a check by mail. I would receive the check in 3-5 business days. I said okay. After 3-5 days I went by there and informed her I still had not received a check from them? She then emailed the accounting department and they said I should get in the next day or so. After not receiving the check in the mail and not having insurance I decided to go back and sit there until I could speak with someone. The lady then told me that I was denied the refund due to them not doing the proper procedures. Which has nothing to do with me but yet will not refund my money nor do I have insurance. Now we are just waiting on another person to get a hold of to see what is the update. It is now 2 weeks with no money and no insurance and I still cant get them to give me a straight answer nor do they return my calls. This is REALLY BAD BUSINESS! Please stay away from this Insurance company they are just crooks!

Freeway Insurance Services discriminating against my learning disorder

Hello my name is nichole gilbert and I tried to file a report with the Better Business Bureau, but it just wasn't allowing me and I've done several reviews about this company and I haven't gotten any phone calls, emails or any contact from the company and I'm trying to figure out how to go about this...I worked here (freeway insurance)for about 6-7 weeks and it's a bad company to work for, they treat their employees like crap especially their managers, my manager liliana Gasetlum made fun of my learning disability and so did the District Manager, Noel and I don't find that funny what so ever. Their employees dress like they're going to the club, with their breasts out and short skirts, it's really inappropriate. I was training to get my insurance license and every time I had asked the District Manager Noel to schedule my test he blew it off and didn't do anything about it. I was driving over an hour every day there and back and making 8.05 an hour and no one, not the manager or anyone taught me anything. Lousy company! Wouldn't recommend anyone to work here. They're very unprofessional and the District manager would come in cussing all the time and was rude to everyone. And they never reimbursed me for my testeachers class, or log in that I paid for. And I'm having to write more, because no one wants to contact me from this unprofessional company, I still haven't gotten my last pay check and it's been 2 weeks, maybe even longer and I'm considering contacting a lawyer since their managers, Lilly and district manager, Noel made fun of me being dyslexic.

Freeway Insurance Services auto insurance misrepresentation

I called Freeway insurance because I had a accident 2 years ago for the first time in my life and everyone kept giving me super high premiums for a fender bender that the person lied about. I was told by the representative not to worry she could get me insurance for $251.22 every six months . Even though it was higher then I was paying before the accident I said fine and sent her the 251.22.And she said my insurance was with Mercury. I just got a bill from Dairyland Auto saying they need $147.84 from me by 1/2/2016 that I had a accident did not qualify for good driving record. So I CALLED THEM they said freeway insurance had disputed my accident I asked why she said I guess to get lower rate. I asked how do I cancel and get my money back she said call Freeway they refused to discuss giving back money

Freeway Insurance Services $270.43 down payment

I opened the policy for my daugther Freeway Insurance is the Broker and for almost 2 yrs. DairyLand Auto/Viking Insurance Companyof Wisconcin is deducting $ 34.31 each month except this month just realized my bank replaced the atm card I have on file with them to make payment with and that's why my payment for the 8th of April didnt happen, late yesterday I got a text from my daughter that Freeway msg. her for non payment that's when I realized about the atm card issue I gave my daugther the new card to make the payment for $34.31for this month only and I found out Freeway told her that they cancelled the policy for non payment and required $270.43 down payment to open a new policy?I called the DairyLand Auto/Viking Insurance where we paid $34.31 a month and they said I'm still good till the 21st of this month and can make a payment tomorrow when I get paid, coz the $270.43 to open a new policy made me negative! We opened a new policy from DairyLand Auto/Viking Insurance talked to David Thao and he only requested for $25.00 down payment and a monthy payment of $11.00.Now the hard part to swallow I called back Freeway Insurance spoke to Javier 2X I requested I dont need the new policy and I want my money back I dont need their service and what did we get for $270.43 and he said new policy for non payment that's why they cancelled the pocily but the other side we are still alright till the 21st of this month for non payment dated the 8th of this month.IS THIS A GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES?

Freeway Insurance Services ripoff/liars

This company took complete advantage of my parents because they did not speak good english. They told them the cheapest quote they could get was with some Western Insurance company that would be over 400 a month with barley any coverage. After I did research I found a lot cheaper coverage with a lot more benefits and they said too bad they cashed the check and we couldnt get the money back after signing the paperwork 2 days prior. Then hung up on me. No one would call me back or speak to me when I called back. I will not let them get away with this.

Freeway Insurance Services freeway insurance lying crooks

Freeway insurance are nothing but a bunch of lying ### who will tell you ANYTHING to get you in their office and scam you out of your money! They gave me and my husband fake quotes over the phone, convinced us to come down and got us through a bunch of paperwork then told us the original quote they gave us on the phone for $50 down would be $345! We were flabbergasted! Then they convinced us we could make payments and it still only equaled up to 700 for the year. Later to find out it was all a LIE for liability on a 123 year old car they charged us $1200 for the year. They repeatedly told us lies charged our credit card which was told to us it was just for verification purposes and would never get charged, they took all of the money out after saying it would only be payment and we would have 3 months to pay it. The manager lied to us over and over, this is the BIGGEST SCAM INSURANCE COMPANY. They have MASS BBB complaints. BEWARE OF FREEWAY INSURANCE!
