Freedom Debt Relief I am having so much trouble with this so called debt relief company.

They keep taking money out of my account even though the contract was supposed to be finished in April. They have lied to me about the amount they settled my two accounts for and keep taking out money even though they have already taken out $32, 830.00 and this was supposed to end on 03/26/2020 and they have taken out two more months, April & May 2020.
They list paying off the two credit cards as 12, 000.00 each and I know that is a lie because I had notices from the card companies that they would take a much smaller amount and the Freedom Debt Relief told me that I shouldn't do that! They are cheating people all the time and it seems that there isn't anyone to close them down.
Please help us, I am a senior and they are taking my social security.

Freedom Debt Relief Ruined my credit

Basically they ruined my credit (went from 720 to 500) and offered me a loan from "an affiliated" company and my credit was so bad that I had no other option.in the beginning they told my I would see a temporary drop in my credit but it would come right back up a couple months after they finished negotiations. Three years later i'm still paying for my mistake with them, the high interests loan they got me and my credit is still ruined. And instead of credit card debt it is debt to them. Scammers. Can't buy a car, can't buy a house, can't get anything.

Freedom Debt Relief I gave them over 11k to pay off debt

Some things came off my credit but the big ones did not. I ended up declaring bankruptcy chapter 13 because they kept raising my monthly fee. And it took them a long time to negotiate my debt and when they did some credit card companies already filed suit against me. I had to let there "attorneys" take care of it and I ended up paying more for each of those credit cards then I started out with. I started with them in July 2016 due to a fall I had at work and was on workers compensation. They said they could get everything paid off in five years; no way that would have ever happened.

Freedom Debt Relief Predatory consolidation for early debt relief

They collected funds from 2018 to 2020 monthly negotiated several loans and charged monthly fees throughout the program. Due to the consistency in monthly timely deposits, they offered an early payment consolidation loan through their company. However, once the remaining debts were negotiated (which were a tremendous savings) they charged me fees for early settlements and interest at 22% which placed me in debt with them for the next four years of over $12, 000.00 Additionally, I have paid into the program over $3, 500.00 that being computed in addition to the future debt over $15, 000.00 which places me deeper in the red than I was when I started the program. I was misled entirely into believing that this would improve my credit and free me from substantial debt in less time. I could have made payment arrangement with the creditors and negotiated and be in a better status. Please advise.

Freedom Debt Relief Freedom debt relief

Freedom is misleading, did not payoff my debt like they explained, I was sued three times, the raised the price on me due to being sued, . I ended up with a judgement and I lost my job so I negotiated some creditors myself and I told Freedom I couldn't pay for awhile because I did not have a job I would resume once I did. And the next day they withdraw $576.00 from my bank without authorization after I called and explained the situation and when I called back to let them know they denied they did anything wrong.. Even though the call was recorded. Earlier in the program when I learned that they only pay one creditor at a time and over charge from what I owed, messed up my credit from it and when I said I wanted to leave the program they told me that i would have to owe them $10000 to leave the program.. I am really disappointed in this company they left a bad taste in my mouth.. I was told after I lost my job to go drive UBer..

Freedom Debt Relief Debt settlement unethical behaviour

I listened to reps from FDR and listed 2 debts with them one for about $50k and another for $10k. I made it clear that I wanted the $10k debt resolved first then the $50k one. They started sending me settlement approval requests for the $50k debt via email/text/phone, I reiterated my preferences and they kept ignoring me, then they started processing the $50k settlement without my approval.
Have contacted them several times, responses must be from robots.
I have requested a termination of there services and refund of money I have deposited in their program minus fees (even though they have not adhered to my preferences).
Much better if you deal with creditors/collection agencies yourself and work out a settlement. Which is what I ended up doing.

Freedom Debt Relief Debt consolidation relief

I recieved a loan consolidation advertisement from green leaf financial thru the us mail. When I called it turned out to be fredon debt relief. The salesmen took my info and told me that I should stop making payments to the cc companies and instead make monthly payments to a dedicated account. He assured me that fdr would negotiate with the cc companies and I would be debt free Jan 2019. I was told that a lawyer was not necessary but if needed I should use nllg. I like an idiot drank the cool aid.

After two of the cc companies were in settlement the third filed a court case against me. When I contacted fdr I was put in contact with a lawyer from nllg who informed me that I would need to make two balloon payments of $5000 and increase my monthly dedicated account payments by over 50% for the next 20 months. From what I can tell from their dashboard the reason for the increase in deposits was to pay their fees.

When I objected to these terms with a nllg lawyer I was told to contact fdr. When I contacted fdr I was told to contact nllg. One of the nllg lawyers even told me that due to the size of the debt the bank involved will not negotiate with fdr. The lawyer for the bank even called me and said I would need a lawyer.

The lawyer for nllg told me that I needed to sign an agreement, that my only other option was bankruptcy. When I offered to pay at once instead of a structured settlement I was told I would be paying the same amount. I was never made aware of the ramifications associated with signing.

I ran into money problems in 2019 and was not able to make the second to last payment of the agreement on time. In Jan of 2019 I contacted nllg and a lawyer told me I should contact fdr. When I contacted fdr I was under the impression that it would not be a problem. At no time was I told that missing the payment would void the agreement nor was I given any other options on paying.

When I called an nllg lawyer for clarity on the matter he told me to contact fdr and laughed at my perdicement. I am being told that the payment plan was voided after the Jan payment was skipped yet payments for feb & March were processed. The April payment was skipped by fdr so they could collect the last of their fees leaving the account short funds to make the final payment to settle the account. w

Every time I emailed fdr on this matter I was pretty much told to call their 800 # to speak to a representative.Unfortunitly that's what got me in trouble in the first place. When I ask about what they have done to settle the account I get no answer. When I ask if they contacted the creditor in Jan 2019 concerning a late payment I get no answer. When I ask why I was not alerted to the fact that they were going to collect their fees instead of paying my creditor I get no answer

Freedom Debt Relief cbna (citibank) account number

Freedom debt relief has over $19, 000.00 in my account but is not doing anything to resolve this debt. It has been over a year with no action.

I have asked twic to be advised of the name, address and phone number of the institution that they are governered by; they continue to ignore my emails for this information.

I have now stopped my monthly contribution to them. However, I was told by chastin that if I fail to allow them to continue taking money from my account that I will be dropped from their program.

Freedom Debt Relief Their hidden fees, mislead you, take your money and ignore your request

Jointed Freedom Debt Relief 2017, made every single payment, am a single senior woman who prides herself on her credit. They took care of my debts, not sure which ones, the story changed everytime I asked someone when I called the company. I have some phone calls where they wanted to consolidate. I didn't understand and didn't want to pay longer for more interest, who would want to. Now I am stuck with extra interest first, see I asked for a payoff before this all happened. I got 2 diff stories, still waiting for the answer, I send my payment and they harrassed and tried to charge me for late payments when they had my payment. Dont trust these people, they are not helping you, they take more than the debt itself.

We are sorry to hear that your transition to Consolidation Plus has not been a smooth one. Records show that a representative from our Resolve Team, Stephen, has already been in contact with you to go over your contract dispute. At this time, the terms of the loan still stand.

It's been a pleasure serving you. If you need anything else, give us a call at 888-950-4829 Monday-Friday 7 AM to 5 PM Arizona time (MST/PDT) or email us at myloan@consolplus.com. You can view the status of your loan any time at my.consolplus.com. Thank you for being a valued Consolidation Plus customer!

They have not helped me at all.

Freedom Debt Relief Lies and broken promises

They are crooks dont listen to their promises. They will prioritize your debt as they see fit and dont care who is breathing down your neck. They will even refuse to make a courtesy call to let the debt collector know that you are working with them. They also have a class action law suit against them I just learned about for their false information and bad buisness practices look it up. My advice is stay far away from these crooks they do not provide the protection they claim and promise much less care about your concerns only taking your money

Freedom Debt Relief Debt relief/debt settlement fee

I began working with Freedom debt relief about a year ago. While they did settle a couple of my accounts at a reduced amount, their fees 23% of the debt re more than I owed. As a matter of fact, for one of my accounts, I was sued. Not only that but Discover refused to reduce the amount I owed and yet Freedom is still charging me a settlement fee of over $1, 000! Stay away! You can make settlements on your own and save money. In addition, the creditors keep calling! They don't contact them until you have enough money in a dedicated account to pay their fees AND your creditors! Avoid them! They say they will help but steal your money!

Freedom Debt Relief They took my money and put me in more debt than ever.

Freedom Debt relief called my home and persuaded me to work with them in debt releif. They said I will get freedom from debt releif and not have to do anything but pay Freedom Debt and they will negotiate with 4 credit card companies to reduce the amount owed and pay of quicker. I'm so angree I am ready to take this pay back in my own hands towards Freedom DEbt releif. I started on4/7/2017 and called them today on 4/2/2019 to find out only to credit cards are getting paid. two are not and have each acumulated $500.00 in late fees and interest. I now owe more money all together than when Freedom Debt Relief called me 2 years ago and offered to help me get out of debt. I want to sue for $25, 000.00 for a total of 4 credit cards, attorney fees, and stress. My husband and I got a divorce out of all of this.

Freedom Debt Relief 8/12 consecutive months left of $510.00 to debt free

I signed on with freedom debt relief in October of 2014. About a year and 8 months and after paying off two creditors completely, I encountered financial trouble and I didn't have money to pay for drafts (this was during a period where no creditor was actively being paid by debt consolidation company; as two creditors were already paid off prior to the financial hardship and before any new active credit settlement was negotiated or accepted for settlement). After four months, ach debits resumed and a settlement was then agreed upon and after 8 consecutive months of paying $510.00 in monthly ach withdrawals and four months left of paying off third creditor, freedom debt relief takes all 8 of $510.00 monthly consecutive drafts as a result of the four months (when no payment was drafted when no creditors were actively being paid). Resulting in $4, 000 ach debits taken by freedom debt relief that was depleated and never paid to any creditor (despite falsely reporting on my client portal that the creditor was paid 8 months then claiming the creditor dropped the settlement after 8 consecutive payments where there were no missed drafts and only and 4 months remaining). The debt consolidation never paid the creditor any of those 8 month it claim as per shown on client portal (as evidenced when client called the original creditor to discover that freedom debt relief never paid them).

Freedom Debt Relief Unethical behavior, stalling

I have 5 years of complaints against this company, Freedom Debt relief. With a PROMISE of settling my credit card and medical debts within the first few months of enrolling, I signed on to the program. STUPID ME! I had some tiny debts $600, etc, that went unresolved for 5 Years with this company, TOTALLY DESTROYED my Credit, and still on there as late payments... for 5 years they did that to these creditors... I paid in $554 each and every month, even though I could not afford that and they dragged and stalled and I will be lucky if those late payment remarks come off my FICO and Credit by 2023. Meanwhile I enrolled in the program in 2013. Just FINISHED a month ago. I had thousands in my account with them and had to battle and beg monthly to just try to get them to reach a settlement. The worst company on the planet! With some very unscrupulous and unethical people at the top... Shame on all of them!

But they got their 22% of each enrolled balance...

Total savings MINIMAL! THE WORST!

Freedom Debt Relief Victim of freedom debt relief scam

I signed to freedom debt relief because they promised to settle the debt on my account. They told me to stop paying my credit accounts and instead send the payments to them so that they could start negotiating for me. Six months later, my credit card debt has doubled and they offered freedom relief plus to pay everything at once. I agreed because at this point my credit was ruined and I didn't want my debt to be multiplied any more. Now they settled all the accounts, but I've ended up owing them $20, 000 at 22.5% interest rate when I only had $8, 000 debt to begin with. So they've ripped me off of $12, 000 and put me in worse situation than what I started with.

Freedom Debt Relief Cost and not paying debtors

I was under the impression I would be helped with paying off my debts.after 7 months in the program I was served papers from the court system for a debt. This cost me over $300.00 in costs as I had to pay to have papers faxed and notarized. Also a debt went to a collection agency. Also they charge 18 percent fees for each debt. This company as cost me more money than what I have. They focus on one debt at a time, which makes the other debtors take other actions on what you owe them. The freedom lawyers charge you. Why do I pay other people to notorize papers when I have freedom debt lawyers supposedly working for me? Also they lost a hardship statement paper to a debtor. I had to relocate that and send.

Freedom Debt Relief Account cancellation

I gave several days advance notice that I could not make my payment and wanted to cancel my account with the company and was not able to phone them I received an email saying my account termination was in the process but then told I was still being charged the payment and that my termination was not in process due to not calling in. I have emails stating the process was started then on the live chat was told differently due to the fact I had no means to call into the company

Freedom Debt Relief Never started paying on my debt.

I signed up with Freedom Debt Relief to help me pay off 3 debts. It's been over 8 months and they have not paid a penny to any of them. One of the debts has already been sold to another company. One of the other ones is about to do the same thing. FDR is the biggest RIP off and newest Ponzi scheme I have seen. Do not use them under any circumstances.
