Fred Meyer communication is bad!

There seems that there is very bad communication that is going on at this Fred Meyers in shoreline, Washington, 98133! It seems that the managers are not telling anybody about what is really going on, especially with this remodel that is going on, and it seems that certain associates have no clue what us going on and other associates do know what is going on, also customers know what is going on with the remodel! So the managers need to quit bulling the associates and they need to stop picking on them as well! It seems that they get all the bonus's and what not and they sit on their [censor], and they don't care about anybody but themselves and it seems they have their favorite associates and they let them do what they want and they let them get away with everything, they don't care about anybody else and it is sad! It seems that a lot of people are quitting because of how they are being treated, and they are all trying to keep everybody away from a certain lady who works in apparel and they are trying to are people not believe her and to back stab her and to lie to her, they want her out if aparrel they cannot stand her, and they leave her in the dark, they won't train her they don't care they just throw her around like a rag doll, and that is not fair she is a [censor] human being, do treat her like one and quit thinking she can't do her job because she can, this lady is a very hard worker and she dies what she is to, d, and it seems like nobody trusts her or really likes her, they are really trying to make her quit by joking around with her and picking on her! So you need to respect her and e etybody else and everybody at this [censor] store needs to do their job and do team work, it seems that there is no team work going on, another thing it seems that loss prevention is lieing to all the associates, and they won't give them their incentives! So everybody should get treated equally and fairly and a certain associate, should not be making people come to work because they are sick, you don't need extra associates to work so that you can sit on your [censor] and play with your phone or hang out with your work friends or boyfriends while you ate on the click, and make sure you blame the right people and not the ones who are doing all this non sense especially if you don't want to get into trouble, everybody needs to suck it up and do your job, there are people who are going insane and ending up in the hospital because of this job, certain associates are not eating and they are dealing with other problems! So something needs to be fine about this store, and if not then all of this will goto the press and the media, another thing they are allowing people to take months off at a time and these associates lie about where they are going, when they are home instead if at there destination!

Fred Meyer ripoff

I bought zip lock bags and got home and realized they were the cheap sandwich bags that don't work well. I paid $7.39 not including tax on week on July 16th 2017 . I wanted the freezer zip lock sandwich bags. I went to take them back but didn't have my receipt in my bag so I went to my car to find it in another bag. But the receipt was blotchy and it was not clear the date and the scan code which is obviously the way it was put in my bag. I leave receipts in my grocery bags for months and I can read them all but this one I had just gotten the week before. I learned they wouldn't give me all my money back because I was given a bad receipt. It is not the money but the principle of the fact they are stealing from me. I've been shopping there at least weekly. I will never shop at another Kroger store. I grew up that it was important to have integrity and I refuse to deal with people who don't. I meet many, many people every day and have already told many about my experience.

Fred Meyer pharmacy

My husband and I have been going to Fred Meyer pharmacy for about six years, we also spend about $700 a month on things there. Last month my husband got his Rx filled like he does every month and there was seven short. I would recommend to everyone to not get there Rx filled at Fred Meyer. I called the Fred Meyer corporate office and I spoke to a lady about filling a complaint. She had the main pharmacist call me. And he said my husband was lying to me about the seven pills going missing. My husband is a very honest person he would never lie to me or anyone for that matter. So I called the lady back and told her what the guy said to me. And she told me that she was going to fire him because that's not the type of customer service Fred Meyer has. Well my husband got a new prescription today went to Fred Meyer and the guy is still working there. So I called the lady again, and she said that she never said she was going to fire the guy that she said if it happened again then she would. They have horrible customer service and have now lost all of our business. I seriously recommend to everyone that is reading this. Do not get your RX filled at Fred Meyer. I know seven pills don't sound like a lot but when your husband had cancer, fibermyalga, arthritis, nerve damange, and hip displacement. Seven pills is a big deal, it's a whole days worth. NOT okay!

Fred Meyer fred meyer shoreline, washington store

Hi, I work at this store called Fred Meyer In Shoreline Washington, and this store is not safe, they allow bums, homeless and certain gang members to this store, and they do have security but no loss prevention and it seems that certain people in other departments are getting the hours they want, and that is not fair to the other people and they seem to be really unfair with what they do in the apparel, it seems that certain people always get there days off and they get shuffled around or mixed up and people are thinking of themselves and they are not caring about other people's needs, and it seems that there is a lot if favoritism going on in apparel as well, they are trying to get rid of the hard workers, and they work people to death, they expect one person to do the dirty work and work there butt off while they sit on step stools and be lazy, and it seems to that we have to do things very slow and make sure that this one person is always unhappy, there is do much complaining and drama that goes on that it is not even funny, and they keep making this one person stuck in the middle of everything and this person has to bounce around like a yo yo, and that is not fair, nobody at all knows what they are doing at this store and it seems that there are people who get lied to and we get pushed around and we have to work hard and only one person in apparel does the fresh walk, and it seems that only one person in apparel is doing this, they have 3 elderly ladies who keeps complaining and gossiping about the young college kids and they have one lady who they have in the shoe department who throws shoes, talks to herself and wonders around, and other employees from other departments are complaining about her as well, it seems that nobody is happy in apparel, nobody cares certain people talk a lot of days off to avoid not doing things at work, and it seems that there is a lot of bullying from other associates in the departments, and they seem that they are trying to make certain people quit and scare them away. So at this store we need to be fair towards one another and make sure that everybody pulls there own weight at thus store, so that no accidents or mental issues happen.

Fred Meyer product

I would like to register my strong objection to the sale of the national enquirer in you stores but in particular the current issue dated dec 12, 2016 with the banner headline muslim spies in obama's cia!.

This is offensive, incendiary language that should not be allowed to be on display in your stores. It is my hope that your company will simply do its part to push back against the hate that is being unleashed in our communities at this time. And for those companies that refuse, I expect that many of us will simply boycott.

The National Enquirer and the Globe are filled with unproven conspiracy nonsense. Their headlines promote hate and lies. They are usually placed by the checkout line which forces customers to look at them. I will be shopping elsewhere as much as possible. FM used tp be my go to for everything.

Fred Meyer #s abound

Kroger food stores owns a chain of Stores in Oregon and Washington called Fred Meyer. Now I don' know if the folks lacking in social skills and serving skills are hired from disabled pool in most communities for these jobs but it seems to be the case at the particular store I go to.
I could train a gang of Bonobo Monkies to do that job with better skills than the current employees They have at Their stores. I suppose They could just use shock collars but then PETA might get involved and consider Them animals because of Their low IQ's and strange habits.
Kroger Corp or whatever You call Your conglomerate should get Their ### together and put a flame under these ###s before You lose ALL of My business.

Fred Meyer shorted on ice cream

We purchases 4 half gallons of Deluxe Mint Chip Ice Cream from Fred Meyers. We’ll, it’s not half gallons anymore, it’s 1.5 qts. or as their label says (48oz.) of the good stuff. BUT, we weighed the good stuff and it only weighed about 32oz. NOT 48oz like the label says. Fred Meyers customer service representative told me that the oz. are not important it is sold by volume so it doesn’t matter if it says 32oz or 48oz it’s all the same 1.5qts. I say they need to remove the 48oz label – it does matter to me!

Fred Meyer they steal gold!

Wow, you would think something in South Towne Mall would be a reputable place to go. I thought it would be safe to bring it to somewhere like Fred Meyer Jewelers but I was totally wrong. I went in to have my ring repaired, one that I have had for a long time, it was starting to crack and become worn down. It was a very heavy gold ring. When I went to Fred Meyers Jewelers in South Towne Mall to get it I was amazed at what they gave me back! The ring literally was about a third of the weight/size that it was when I originally gave it to them. It was a very thick ring before and now it looks about as thick as dime or less. I complained but they just said it was my ring and they didn't take anything from it but all my family and friends could tell immediatley by seeing it and holding it that it had much less gold than it originally had when I gave it to them. It is sad some companies are so dishonest and do things like this since gold is so expesnive now to make an extra buck and get a way with it. BEWARE if you have Fred Meyers Jewelers in Sandy Utah do any repairs on your rings, weigh it before and take a picture before you bring it to them just to be safe!

Fred Meyer I am 100% certain i've been a victim of fraud here

In November of 2010, in good faith I purchased at the Meridian, ID store, a pair of 14k white gold 1ctw Princess cut diamond earrings, which I kept in the original box they came in, then as a proactive security measure to protect my valuables, I stored them in my personal safe, until when for personal reasons I changed my mind about keeping them.

I went back to the store with the intention to return them, where the store manager, Josh Wittchow, performed an inspection on the diamonds (test I wasn't aware of since I'd never returned any piece of jewelry before), to my great astonishment he told me that they weren't diamonds but CUBIC ZIRCONIA! I was so appalled just to think that they even came with a Gemological Science International report and also that I had paid over $2, 000 for them. Nevertheless, He did not take them back or gave me a refund for the fake diamonds but offered to communicate with their Loss Prevention Department and with the supplier of the diamonds to find out where the real ones were at.

Now after what happened to me, I question why is that jewelers only perform quality check on their diamonds when they've been returned, but not when the customer is buying them to guarantee they're selling to the customer what they say it is? What is really appalling to me is the fact that if it wasn't for the fact that I decided to return them, I'd had never found out their Sales Associate put fake merchandise in the box. I'm not expert on diamonds and to me anything that shines under their lights is a diamond.

So far FRED MEYER JEWELERS Corporate hasn't done any investigation to get to the bottom of the problem. When all this just had happened, I sent a written complaint to Peter M. Engel, President and he in reply delegated the problem to Abir Elaimy, Regional Supervisor, who called me not to settle the complaint but just to tell me they were a "very reputable nationwide jewelers" and that their employees were diamond certified. She even got very upset when I brought up the issue of the employee who might have swapped the merchandise and then suggested I did the swap at my home! She was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. They are not even willing to go over all the security tapes surrounding the dates since they received the earrings from their supplier until the date of the sale.

I had filed a consumer complaint with the Attorney General Office of Idaho in hopes of obtaining some legal support, and have Fred Meyer Jewelers take my fraud complaint seriously. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. For the AGO to take action against this company or any other (to proceed to investigate any further and protect my rights as a consumer), it needs to have more than 1 complaint and so far mine is the only one. I'm sure there are more people out there who just like me, bought merchandise from this company and innocently thought they got diamonds but instead received cubic zirconium, but unfortunately they don't know yet.

On their response to the AGO, Fred Meyer mentioned to show the videos of my visits to the store. How can they be 100% certain they gave me diamond earrings if they have not reviewed their surveillance videos from the date they received those particular earrings until the day they were sold to me? They may just discover that they in fact did not perform the "rigorous quality check" they say they did before I bought the diamond earrings; or perhaps, that the sales associate did not show me the merchandise she put in the store bag before she gave it to me. I am 100% certain I've been a victim of fraud here.

Fred Meyer dishonest business practice

At Fred Meyers gas at 3333 W. 11th Eugene Oregon 97402 I handed them my debit card and asked for $20 gas. My first purchase of the day. I checked my bank balance soon after and it was off by over $100! Fred Meyers gas, instead of keying in $20 has a default set at $125. They froze $125 dollars from my account with no warning and no authorization to do so. Now I have to wait two or three days before I get the money back. The very idea that you could have every cent that you have frozen for $20 gas is frightening and must be stopped immediately.

On Wed., 7/12/2017 I bought gas at the Fred Meyers in Klamath Falls, Oregon. As I pulled in with my RV, the only pump available was behind an old black Winnebago RV with two cones placed behind it in the first pump so I pulled in ~5 feet behind the black RV to wait until he finished and departed. The attendant approached me and stated that the guy had overheated and would not be leaving any time soon and that he didn't want to "stress him out " so I couldn't use that pump and that is why the cones were set up to block the first pump which was operational - I pointed out that I was at that moment only feet from the pump and if it was working, I wouldn't even have to move for him to pump gas as that is the requirement in Oregon. He lashed back with an attitude and walked away saying "DO WHAT YOU WANT"! I answered, politely that it was Oregon and entirely up to him - he continued walking. Another attendant came over and filled up my tank - notably, he was meticulous about getting absolutely every ounce of gas he could into my tank - the black RV started up and the guy took off without difficulty and abruptly. There was a clear "wink and nod and laughter from your two attendants. Upon leaving, my RV was hesitant, missing, surging, underpowered on hills for the first time in 2000 miles - contaminated gas was the clear reason for this. I drove to Susanville with this issue the whole way and put 15 gallons of new gas and a can of SeaFoam from the local Walmart in and the problem resolved all the way to Minden, Nevada. So, here is the deal, something weird was going on at your Fred Meyer's and I stumbled into it - either a drug deal, gas heist, whatever and your attendant staff were complicit in the deal with the black RV owner. The pump was clearly down due to contamination with water in the lines and the guys basically did a screw you pal to me for interrupting their "game" - easy enough for you to confirm with the maintenance record and other complaints from people on that day. My RV has run absolutely smoothly since l left Susanville and since arriving back home - water in the gas was the culprit and your staff acted with malice. It is absolutely true that one person who complains connects with 80 other and it grows from there. I want to give corporate responsible parties at Fred Meyers the chance to look into this but the friends I have told thus far were pretty vocal about their reaction and response to your store in question. If I do not hear back in 5 business days fro you, I will report this to the Oregon attorney general as described and suggest an investigation of that store and I will certainly tell as many people as I can about the episode. It is up to you, as I will be heading up to Seattle and Tacoma several times this year and will spread the message far and wide so people can evaluate for themselves how they view your store - and your service recovery practices - choose wisely - A now quite militant consumer instead of a happy customer.

My husband and I both bought our wedding rings at Fred Meyer Jewelers in late 2009. Since that time, I have had 3 diamonds fall out of my set, my husbands band had to be completely replaced 1 year after we bought it (Fred Meyers swapped it out for the same style ring free of charge), and now my husbands wedding band needs replaced again. I spent 8 months calling the company to get work done on my ring and on his ring free of charge because we bought the lifetime warranty on all of our pieces. It took me 8 months (23 calls) before anyone agreed to repair the rings. Since we live in an area that no longer has a FMJ, they said we could mail our rings in to be fixed and then they would mail them back when the repairs were made. I left my home address with the representative and was expecting the boxes to be mailed to my house within a week. The boxes never came, so I called back. They told me that they never received my address and that someone would be calling me later that night to obtain my address. I thought this sounded fishy, but I was desperate to get our boxes. Long story short, 5 more phone calls later, I never received a box and my husband and I both have damaged wedding rings. Thank you Fred Meyer Jewelers for disappointing us at every turn.

Fred Meyer vegas-style store layout, designed to confuse

My complaint is specifically focused on the grocery department. Not once have I gone into this store and found what I was looking for by thinking logically or trying to follow the hanging signs. Its like they want you to get lost, swirlling around the isles trying to find that item on your list that *should* be with (insert common item) but ISN'T. The isles are all split down the middle in order to have what they call End Caps - shelves/promotional areas at the ends of the isle. Note that the store receives premium $$ from vendors to display their products on these End Caps. Unfortunately for the customer the natural arrangement of canned goods, or juice, or ethnic foods, or almost any catagory, has to be split up as well, with some food catagories falling on several distant isles (juice, for example). Not to mention the ten 4-way cart-jamming intersections that the split-isles create. I have enough of those just driving through town, I really don't need more inside the store.

I had filed a consumer complaint with the Attorney General Office of Idaho, hoping I would get the legal support needed to settle this fraud knowingly committed by someone working for Fred Meyer or by the company's supplier of these particular earrings; unfortunately, that was not the case here. The AGO decided to close my consumer complaint based on the response by the company's Customer Service Support Specialist. On the letter I received it says, quote: "the business's enclosed response reflects factual disputes between the parties". Does this mean I have a chance at proving I’ve been a victim of fraud here, even though my only proof is the merchandise I received from their store sales associate?

On their response to the AGO, Fred Meyer mentioned to show the videos of my visits to the store. What is that going to prove? That they in fact did not perform the "rigorous quality control check" on the earrings on the day I bought them?, or that on that day the earrings were switched by one of the employees?

I am 100% certain I've been a victim of fraud here.

Fred Meyer bad employee behaviour

I was shopping in Fred Meyer in Richland WA a week ago and cannot believe the man employee named Kailer or something just used too many bad words and talking with his friends in the working time.

Also, he kinda ignored me when I asked him for a product. That's such a bad experience since I am new in this area. Also, there food is kinda more expensive than other retailers. I think I should go to Winco or Walmart so I can have at least either cheap price or good-behavior employees.

Trying to avoid Fred Meyer as much as possible.

Fred Meyer cheating at the deli counter

Stopped at a fred meyer deli on my way home passing other grocery stores in favor of this location where I do my weekly shopping. Today I am told they no longer sell chicken strips by the pound, but rather, by the piece. Not a problem until you take a look at the "wide" range of sizes per piece. I believe in getting the most for my money so I politely asked for 6 of the largest pieces. A fair request by any means. The gentleman behind me heard and asked how he could get the same amount of chicken if they were selling the largest pieces to me? Another fair question. The ripple effect in the line was almost comical as the word went down the line. I then asked for a half pound of potato wedges which they promptly "weighed" on the scale on the counter that could just as easily fairly weighed the chicken strips, and have done in the past.
Just because they are a big chain do they think consumers are stupid? What other items are they selling unfairly? I am willing to change my shopping habits and spend my money at a competitor.
However, I may be tempted to return if they start selling gas by the tank rather than by the gallon. I should get quite the deal with my big suv over my neighbor with the little 'economy' car.

Fred Meyer - rip off and poor craftsmanship

I have had the worst experience with this Jeweler! My husband and I got each other our wedding set At Fred Meyers. It was the one in Ventura, CA. at the Pacific View Mall. There was only one decent person in there with any real customer service. The manager Patrick I can't remember his last name. Even then my husband and I found out he lied to us. So first...

Fred Meyer poor customer service

To any future present or thinking about buyers,
Customer service at this particular Covington Fred Meyer Jewelers is the worst I have ever seen. Being a first time customer at Fred Meyer Jewelers, I was very excited when my husband bought me a mother daughter ring for mothers day. I felt so excited and happy. We ordered the ring it came in and it was beautiful. I had the ring for 1 week and the prongs broke on it. We took it back and they fixed the prongs, then 1 month later the band broke in half, lucky I didn't loose the ring, we took it back and they gladly repaired it. Two weeks later another broken prong, by this time I felt as though my ring was spending more time in the shop than on my finger and I was getting a little annoyed. So when we went in they said we will repair it again, I requested that it be replaced and told them I felt as though the ring was a lemon. They debated about it right in front of me and decided to sent it back to the manufacturer and have it replaced. Two weeks later my new ring arrived, I was very excited and thought thank God no more trips back and forth. The new ring seemed to be built much better than the first one at least it lasted longer before having to go back in for repairs. I think it actually lasted 5 months, I was excited about this, isn't that a shame. I then took the ring back and had the prong repaired. After the repair I noticed something that looked like a melted marshmellow on my ring I continued to wear it for a week before going back in and asking what they did in the repair process, the repair man was onsite and polished off some left on solder from the repair, no big deal. I then noticed two small cracks on the band side of the ring, I though I am not going to go back in again this soon. So I continued to wear the ring, and it broke a section about 1/4 inch in size out of the band itself, thank God again I didn't loose the ring. I proceeded to take the ring back and this time I wanted something done to resolve the problem with a poorly designed ring. We took the ring out of it box and showed the lady standing there the ring and explained that we were rather annoyed at the manufacturer of the ring for poor design, she proceeded with a rudd comment, how do you think the ring should be designed. I replied so that it does not break 7 times in 2 years. Then she proceeded to say what would you like us to do. I responded I would like or money back or to pick a different ring from that group manufactured by the same company. She took my ring and went to the back. A few minutes passes and she came back and said we can repair the ring for you again. My husband looked at her and said how many times do we need to come in and have the same ring repaired? She stated that this is Fred Meyer policy and repeated we can repair your ring for you. I stated that would not be satisfactory we paid for a ring and I would like the ring to be able to be worn for many years, I explained that I have had a wedding band for 10 years and never has it needed to be repaired. The Manager a tall man then came out and proceeded to ask the same question again. What would make you happy. Again I stated getting a new ring from that collection not the same style because there is a defect with that style, or getting our money back so that we may choose a different ring all together. While the manager was standing there the lady proceeded to be rudd asking in a very acusational way, what were you doing when the ring broke. I replied shopping and it should not matter what I was doing the fact is that the ring broke and has broke several times along the way. I again repeated that I have had my wedding band 10 years wear it everyday and it has never needed repair. She proceeded to rudely state I don't know what you are doing with your ring, and would not know what you are doing with your ring unless I took the time to follow you every where you go during the day. This was very rude and not customer oriented at all. She was the one to ask what I was doing, if she did not want an answer than she should not ask. She looked at me and said your wedding band is on your left hand and this ring is worn on your right. She was very rude the entire conversation. She repeated again we can have your ring repaired, I replied do I need to get Jessy from King 5 in order to get this problem resolved. I had enough of being bullied and treated like a criminal that was trying to take advantage of Fred Meyer Jewlers. This treatment made my bloodpressure go up, and made me feel terrible about my experience with Fred Meyer Jewlers. After the manager looked at her and said give them their money and I will make a note in the account, they will not buy from Fred Meyer Jewlers again. This really made me made because again we were being treated like criminals when customer service is all we were seeking. The male manager was just as big a bully as his female assistants, guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. They all need a little training in what we call customer service and respect. As one lady handed us back or money another female worker came over and asked are they getting their money back she replied yes, and the other lady said go figure the squeeky wheel gets what it wants. She did not even have the politeness to wait until we were gone to make these comments. That is true lack of customer service and they should feel ashamed of how they run there company. I do not blame Fred Meyer Jewlers as a whole but rather I blame the manager and his team at this particular Fred Meyer Jewlers. I believe that Fred Meyer has some quality jewelry and that this particular ring had a deffective design not Fred Meyer Jewlers fault. I bought my daughters ear rings from Fred Meyer Jewlers and never had a problem with them, she has worn them non stop for 3 years now. I hope that someone takes the time to do some customer service training with this particular branch and that they will not treat anyone else the way they treated me and my family.

As we left I asked for all the paper work that lead up to the money being returned and the Manager refused to return the paperwork to us. He refused to give us any of our repair sheets or reciepts, he just responded the ring is no longer yours neither is the paper work. True lack of customer service again.

I have called the customer service number found online for Fred Meyer Jewlers and look forward to hearing from the regional manager in the next 2 days. I hope that she can make things right and show us a renewed spirit and feeling about Fred Meyer Jewlers.

Thanks,
Tarie

Fred Meyer awful experience

I was at Fred Meyers, trying to get Formula for my son, I had Wic Coupons, and had no money on me. They didn't have the brand I needed on the shelf, So I asked a woman is she could ask someone in the back if it was in stock, She called someone who said "This isn't my department call grociery" So she did, and they said it wasn't THEIR department either, She called the other woman back, and finally told me " No one knows where to look for it in the back, I'm sorry, can you just pay for one can of another brand now?" WTF!? I needed food for my SON and no one was willing to go look or find someone who knew where it MIGHT BE! I had to go buy a cheaper brand elsewhere, and call every store in my area to find some in stocks.. Haggens had it in stock, and even held the cans up front for me.

I was in the kroger fuel center in vicksburg ms. And the white lady was working very hard as she is everytime I go there. How come they don't make the others do what she has to do.they r being unfair to her.she does all the work and everyone gets the credit for what she does.I know that she is the only one doing the work.because everytime I go there everyone else is just sitting in the chair.I wish someone would give her the credit and a raise that she deserves without the lazy ones benefiting from all her work.anyone would love to have her as an employee.especially me.
