Ford unauthorized charge on my credit card

After 12 mos. I finally got scheduled for a driver's side airbag replacement under Recall Notice 16S03 for my 2004 Ranger. I arrived at the dealer (Casa Ford, El Paso Texas) a contacted the Service Advisor who assisted with the appointment. I also asked about having my steering wheel checked for a rubbing sound when turning the steering wheel, as if a lost of lubricant or a seal was making the noise, since they would be working with the steering wheel for the replacement. He then did an "under hood" inspection, and pointed out the coolant level was low and may have been leaking. I told him there has been no trace of coolant leaking under the truck. He noticed some hardened material around the radiator hose connector, and thought it make be leaking there.

He then advised that for inspecting for the noise in the steering wheel and/or inspecting for a coolant leak, there would be a separate charge for each, around $68.00 for each service. I told him not to bother, as neither issue was serious, and to just replace the airbag and I would have the other issues taken care of at a later time.

I had to wait approximately 2-1/2 hours as there was no technician available when I checked in. I was informed of the progress, and when someone started the replacement, estimated to take about 1-hour. I was then told by a person who was checking with customers about the progress on their service, that they were about finished with my truck, and also that the technician was qualified with cooling systems, and was "checking that out", and I assumed it was a courtesy check. I then saw the truck driven up to the front of the shop, and the Service Advisor told me they had finished, and he was turning in the paperwork and I could get my keys at the Cashier in about 4-minutes. When the cashier received the keys and the "Invoice", she told me there was a charge for $72.02. As asked what the charge was for testing the cooling system, adding coolant, and tightening the clamp on the upper radiator hose.

I told the cashier I did not authorize that service, and had declined that service with the Manager. I received a "shrug". I told her I was paying for a service I did not authorize, and the Service Department "got me" for about $70 bucks. I paid with my credit card and departed.

I would have, and could have easily tightened the clamp on the upper radiator hose; I do have a socket set and screwdrivers I've used over 50 years. This is not the first incident with Casa Ford's Service Department (I also have a 2008 Lincoln MKZ with a window recall they did not successfully repair). The MKZ is also under a recall for it's driver's side airbag. It will not be repaired by Casa Ford as they have lost all my confidence. There was work performed, albeit unauthorized, but I am willing to "take the hit" for the bogus charge with a resolute conviction I will never have service done, or purchase any future vehicle from Casa Ford. I do not want a refund, apologies, phone calls or letters. For reference, the invoice number was 997325C, dated February 8, 2017.

Ford 1998 ford windstar

I bought a 1998 ford windstar from terry on 10/16/2015. 10/30/15 it just went dead had to have it towed home. Then had to pay a towing company 150 dollars to tow it back to cheap cars around austin on the 11/03/20154. Put a red wire on fuse relay running to the dash in order to crank the van. Got it back. Didn't drive it a week transmission went out. Terry knew the transmission was know goo9d. File complaint on cheap cars. They was suppose to get a transmission from salvage yard we just for the transmission and fluid. We waited a year and finally he said he found one it cost 515 dollars this was in october 24th/2016 we didn't have to pay labor they would get it fix for us. Okay first trans was cracked. Second trans couldnt change gears. Now 3rd transmission. This is december of 2016. Then they said radiator was cracked we had to pay for it 102.84. They finally say its ready. Well the van is worser than it was. That transmission is no good don't want to change gears. The front and back brakes was burnt up don't know how since its been at the dealership since november of 2015. Had to replace front and back brakes. The speedometer is not hooked up under the transmission the wires are just hanging. Broke and they don't match. Call and told them . Nothing they going to call the peoples where they got the transmission the sent another one. Warranty is out . How are we suppose to take the other one out and put the other one in. And what if this one is know good. Point i didn't even drive the van a month before the transmission went out and thats wrong. Terry knew the transmission was know good. And they ripped me and my wife off we had to borrow the money when we purchase the van 1288 dollars 10/16/15. And had to borrow it this time to 617 dollars and still don't have a running vehicle. And found out they rip us off the transmission cost 250 dollars. Had been asking for invoice for trans and radiator. His wife angie wouldn't give it to me and like i told her it belong to us we paid for trans. Found out the invoice is in terry name. And radiator invoice is in cheap cars around austin. Its just like i didn't pay for anything at. She still didn't give me the invoice for 10/24/2016. I got the invoice for the 4th transmission and thats how i knew how much it cost. I also call the place to verify . And found out the mechanic is why the radiator got busted . So that was not our fault they should have paid for that not me. Then she talking about a itemized statement for what. I didn't get the mechanic they did. I call the mechanic his name craig and he told u what happen to the radiator and that angie told him to make the itemized statement out and put the sykes name on it. Don't she know thats wrong. I told him do not put our names on nothing period. And she lied and said they paid 97 dollars twice for transmission fluid. That not true either. Craig told me. And what kind of transmission fluid cost 97 dollars . My wife priced the fluid another lie.. The whole time ask her to have terry to call me and he never did. They ripped us off twice of our money and we are a low income family. Wife disable we get paid once a month. Now got a van in the yard thats not running a transmission under the sheed and if the place call about the transmission in the van. Going to tell them charge it to cheapo cars around austin. They claim they don't have a mechanic . But they did have one. But they towed the van to this man house instead of it being done by the mechanic at ther place cause she said they didn't have one. But they had a transmission put in another vehicle at the dealership by there mechanic .They not right. And i want my money back cause i never got a chance to drive the van. It was messed up in less than 3 weeks not even a month. Should be a law against this ripping peoples off of there money. And angie said they don't have money . They got to if they own a dealership place. And i'm not going to stop till everyone know what kind of peoples they are scammers. Want all my money back 1964.30 total. Cause i need a vehicle my wife is under the dr and have appointments and i do to. They don't care but they need to . And they are not checking them vehicles they be getting from the auction . Cause they don't have know worker. And the texas vehicle inspection report when we got the van and the one we got the 01/02/2016 it want even pass inspection either say engine light on and it not. Speedometer and odometer not hooked up and the torque converter clutch circuit electrical. It went from transmission getting replace to van all messed up and they don't care . What are we suppose to do. And i got proof of all the information they inspection report is fake whoever they got doing it. Must be doing them a favor on the side and passing vehicles. You can see it good but it got 4 default codes. The part where it says automatic is different than the one we had done on 01/02/2016 the miles are different and how can that be we haven't had the van in over a year its been at there place. And now its all messed up they should not be open and they can afford to give me and my wife our money back. They have sold 11 vehicles while ours was supposed been worked on., angie claim she paid craig 2000. Then my wife got texts saying 1000 are more. Then 1500. I talk to him and he said she did not pay him that much. But she didn't he told me. Thats how i know she was trying to mess us over like she was . He use to work for cheap cars he quit. What she said dont really know. And the odometer has been rolled back on van when more than once . Rolled back while they had it year. And a report says another time. And they knew this and didn't tell us and they didn't have know kind of sign on dash that says as is its not even on the contract. And know they want even respond to us. And the other transmission iss under our sheed and warranty off of it. And the place they got the other transmission from. Want the one out the van. Cant get it cause van just sitting in the yard. They robbed us of our money. And we want it back they can have this van and transmission it was know good when they sold it to us. Drove it 2 weeks at the most and it died. We not the only person they have pulled this on. Want our money back its a lemon. We low income family get paid once a month and they know this but didn't care had to borrow that money

Ford ford fusion

I want to Autonation Ford Brooksville I had a 2015 Hiondi with 11.000 miles I wanted to tired of a truck they informed me they couldn't I was to up side down so I was leaving the manager said wait show hem the Fusion I looked at it the check engine light was on don't worry its a pre-certification with a warranty thay talked me in than I started having problems started with not starting after falling the gas tank than the vibration with still have it took the service department 4 times to find the full problem the trunk has been changed out it pulls to the left I worked with the service department and Dealership I tired I tired get out of the Fusion So I am not happy with the car Dealership I am stupid for baying the Fusion I will not bay a Ford or go to a Ford Dealership again lm stuck with it I want to the Dealership on Friday February 3 thay did not even call to say could not help me

Ford ford fiesta power steering control module failure

Hye,

I'm owner of ford fiesta xtr registered on jan 2/2013. Out of the blues on last saturday (Feb 4/2018) my power steering control module warning light pop-up followed by esp & hill start assist indicator.

Communicated to sdac jalan ipoh advice to tow to nearest service center since it still below 5 years & 200k km (Current mileage 88, 416). So today morning the towing came and bring it there. After hour the service adviser come out with 2 info;
1. U3000 control module pscm
2. Oxy sensor 2

Both items require to be change! I do asking what may cause such terrible damage, he reply not sure they just do diagnosis.

Asking if these cover under warranty? There's may not be possible due to 1 of my service after 60k slightly over.

Total replacement cost nearly myr10, 000.00?

I do have 5 years experience in manufacturing power steering column assembly myself at trw automotive chassis system malaysia with hq in livonia, michigan, usa and each steering column assy should last more than 5 years!

I do need better justification on the failure that currently happening.

Ford engine wiring harness

My 2010 F-150 has been at the Ford dealership since Jan. 3 2017. It needs an engine wiring harness. I was told the part would be in the week of Jan. 18th. I waited and called Jan. 19th. I was told the part would be in the week of Jan. 30th. I called Feb. 1st. I'm now being told it "should" be sent by Feb 13th. Folks this is ridiculous! My wife and myself have owned 16 Fords in our life time. I know I'm just another customer complaining but we're in the process of moving and I need my truck very badly! I sent a complaint on Jan.19th but have not heard anything from anybody. I guess I'm now gonna be a Chevrolet man. Can't believe I just typed that, but there is "NO" reason why it should take over a month for a part to be made and shipped. If I haven't heard from somebody and made satisfied I will definitely go as public as I can with this.

Ford ford figo 1.4 ambiente

Good day

I am currently using a Ford Figo 1.4 Ambiente Petrol car. The petrol consumption on the car I believe is faulty. I believe that the car uses too much petrol for the distance that I travel and that travelling on a normal 120km/h. I have spoken to 3 other Ford users with the same car and they have the same problem. All services are up to date. Can Ford advise me on what the problem with the Ford Figo 1.4 Petrol cars are?

Ford ford focus 2.0 auto 2014

My registration No. WA7049F-My car has a jerking problem and the shift of the gear is not as smooth as it should be. There is also a hissing sound in the engine.
When sent to ford HQ PJ, they have changed the clutch plate which was still under warranty which I think is acceptable as they were bearing the cost. Amount equivalent was around RM3k+ . After few days driving the car, the condition has worsen and the gear shift has gone wild. While driving in normal speed, the jerking is much more obvious. I realized that the a/c was less cool as well. I sent back the car to Ford PJ. They have diagnosed that I have to change the air-cond filter and fill-up the gas. (Seriously ford? 2 years of usage?) I asked the technician to go ahead but in my mind I was thinking that the air-cond has nothing wrong before I sent in the car to the workshop. Cost equivalent to around RM400 which I need to take out from my pocket. The other thing they said that I need to change the gear switch (2 nos) equivalent to RM 6k+ (not covered!). I said to put back the parts together and I will seek for other alternative. Now they said that they can't start the car at all. There is no solution until now after 2 months in the workshop. This is really an awful experience looking at buying RM100k++ car. Should it be like this? Furthermore, I have to pay 2-months installment without actually having the car. So disappointing. Called in this morning and they said it will be ready after CNY. We'll see and if not, I will go to the consumer to complain.

Ford 2011 taurus sho power steering failure

The problems began about a year ago, at start power steering fault assist came up on dash. I could restart and all was fine for weeks, then again power steering loss.1-7-2017 steering totally failed coming around a corner. I contacted ford because I new their was a recall on this problem. Ford recall number 15s18. Recall dates from build dates was 9-7-2010. My sho was 7days before this 9-1-2010.These were the same parts they used on my build date. How can FORD not recall this car. FORD needs to step up to the plate and help with this problem. With a half a million cars with the same problem, someone is going to be KILLED.

Ford 2006 ford freestar

The 2004/2005 models of this vehicle were recalled, and the 2006 was not, even though they have the same torque converter and transmission as the 2004/2005 models. I was reading online of several people, with this same make/model/year, who have been left stranded due to transmission/torque converter issues, and the repairs outweigh the value of the vehicle. I would like a recall for this issue, as I, as well as several people are left with vehicles that are not reliable and are unable to drive.

Ford mechanical part failure

My name is john hanekom, chad hanekom's father. My son tweeted the incident this morning and someone tweeted back and said he must please write an e-mail, so I am acting on his behalf.

On the 28th of november 2014 my son chad hanekom was involved in a horrific motor car accident on the n1 north (Western bypass) between malibongwe and william nichol drives. As parents we are very fortunate to still have chad with us.

Apparently chad says he smelt something and seconds later he heard an incredibly weird sound coming from his engine. The vehicle then started veering from side to side and then started spinning across the highway. He had no control over the steering wheel and other vehicles started colliding, approximately 4, and then a 5 ton truck rear ended his vehicle.

Now according to chad, something definitely malfunctioned with his vehicle that caused the near fatal accident. I have been in contact with ford sa but I have not had any positive response from them, in fact, they avoiding my plea to have an assessment done on the vehicle. Surely there are some other parents that have children driving that particular vehicle and maybe it has a defect.

The person I dealt with at ford sa's call centre is nicky smith and my reference no is:[protected] and he can be reached at [protected]. Since the accident I was told by nicky that their field engineer, whoever that might be, said that they do not operate like that and that I should get my insurance company to do the assessment. The insurance company closed the claim and also said they only do a visual assessment.

I have limited time available as they will be moving the vehicle from sandton to boksburg where they apparently will destroy it, meaning they will crush the vehicle as it's written off as a code 4. The assessor I dealt with from outsurance is anwar adam and he can be reached on [protected].

Ford sa snubbed my request and I feel something must be done as I could have lost my son.

After the ford snub I had a private appraisal done on the vehicle and the outcome was part failure. The suspension snapped where it was attached to the shock absorber. I re-opened the case with ford and sent them the detailed appraisal but still they did nothing, no sorry they did do something, they closed the case... Again.

I tried getting the miosa (Motor industry of south africa) involved but also to no avail. I sent email after email and called and called and called, but also a huge snub from them. I was told by the person who did the appraisal to try get hold of mr johan van graan (The big fish) , but no, you guessed it, also nothing.

Now I see the ford kuga is killing people and still ford is as arrogant as ever.

If you are driving any ford, you have most most inner sympathy

Makes you think what ford stands for, maybe f (Ound) o (N) r (Oad) d (Ead).

Ford 2013 ford fusion hybrid

Bought vehicle in summer 2014 at bergstrom ford in wisconsin. Now in florida, hd radio needed to be reprogrammed. Took to jarrett gordon ford in davenport, fl on jan 3, 2017. Reprogram worked, but dealer advisor said no warranty coverage..Charged me $40.06. I would have expected this under bumper to bumper coverage within the 36 months after purchase. Service tag t2639. Shouldn't the dealer have access to my purchase date and warranty information? This should have been covered. I would like a refund.
Please advise. Thanks.

Ford 2002 ford escape transmission

This company sold ford escape. Knowing the transmission would not hold up. There are complains all over the internet from people 'who spent there money on this junk. American car company's look like all they wont is your money ' it's seams made in american has become china back in the 50's know for cheap junk.. They wont me to right more. So it can get posted. So - junk junk junk junk junk !

Ford 2016 ford f150 satellite radio

Ford customer service cases cas11289372 and cas11328687: the sirius xm radio (Especially on talk radio) the sound is of very poor quality. The fm and am part of the radio is very good. It is only the satellite radio that is so bad. I've had the 2016 ford f150 xlt into the dealership on multiple occasions regarding this issue. They have been unable to resolve the problem. Today the longmont ford dealership called me and told me they had contacted the ford engineers and there is no resolution.
The radio was also cutting out and seeking the satellite, the antenna was replace and that resolved that issue, but the sound is still of very poor.
I have 3 cars, all with sirius radios, this is the only one with poor sound quality. I have a 2016 mazda cx5 and a 2010 acura rl, both of these cars have sirius radios with great quality sound.
This is the 1st new ford I have ever purchased and if I had known how poor the quality of the satellite radio, I would not have purchase the ford truck. Every other aspect of the truck I really like, but this is a major issue for me. After reading the ford forum I am not the only ford owner that has this problem.
My truck has 4000 miles on the odometer.

Ford extended warranty and ford service

After being denied service at bay ridge ford because the manager tried to fool me by cleaning an oil leak and pretending it wasn't there (not knowing i had it recorded), i contacted ford and was tild that the dealer is independently owned and can deny service to anyone they wish, i contacted their ESP for reimbursement for rental and was transferred a couple of time before Kale answered and told me that only a manager from the dealer can get me reimbursed. I told him that he refused service and was told "sorry" by Kale

Ford service

I have a 2015 mustang gt, with 24, 000 miles on it. I've already had it in the shop once for numerous things a few months ago. Last month, I had to carry the car back because of a sound it was making. It was a sound coming through the radio. The service guy told me they had to orDer a part and it would take about a week and a half to get it and they would call me. So my car sat, without being driven, for almost 3 weeks, 18 days to be exact. Finally, I took it upon myself to call them. Well sure enough, the part was in! When I told my husband about this, he just randomly called and asked the dept how long it typically took for this past to come in, they said it was normally there the next day. So why would they wait 18 days and still not contact me? Had I not called them to check on it, I would still be waiting and my car would still be sitting! This is my 2nd complaint about this service dept and about this car. It has been nothing but trouble, and problems a new car should not have. I am very disappointed with Ford! I am very upset with Alexander Ford. And I am very angry that I've not been able to drive my car, that I pay dearly for, for almost 3 weeks! Needless to say, I will not purchase anot her Ford, of any kind, ever again!

Ford service in regards to two ford vehicles

I bought a Ford Ranger 2016 Face lift brand new it does not have 10000 km on the clock yet, as from day one the rear of the bakkie was hanging to the left i was advise by Ford SA to Switch the two rear blades around so we did at our ford dealer, after that the rear of the bakkie was hanging more to the left as before, Ford SA advised us to switch the front Coil Springs . also i bought a Ford ECO sport 1.5 diesel brand new that has about 5000 km on the clock after two weeks of parches the rear wheels began to ran off on the in side the car was taken to a local tire place to be adjusted it was not even done by Ford, The biggest mistake i made was to sell my TOYOTA vehicles to buy Ford i will not recommend any one to buy a ford ever, if you have any query's regarding this matter my number is ********** 503 even if its some one with the same problem i would like to know about your experience, i have been complaining on all tipes of social media in regards to this matter not even Ford SA can get back to me, no respons on facebook or Hallo Peter, i need this problem sorted out as soon as possible i can not have this problem with two cars that is brand new out of the box ! someone PLEASE tell me what is going on with FORD SA

Ford not honoring extended warranty return visit

On October 7, 2016 I brought my 2010 Ford Explorer in for service for 2 reasons. The main reason was because of the Thermostat issue and the second was the tailgate door lock actuator was making a grinding noise. At the time I brought it in it was not making the noise everytime. My service advisor Michael Robinson (997272) said he couldn't find anything wrong with it, but if it continues to bring it back in. No where on my paper work from that visit did he put any information about the actuator even though he said since he couldn't find anything he just greased it. I feel this was their way of masking the problem. I spoke to Michael today and told him that it is now grinding constantly and I am having problems open the door because of the lock jamming. He informed me that I would have to pay my deductible again. My father worked for Ford Motor for 30 years and retired and my son works at the Ford dealership in Long Beach California. I have bought/leased Ford products for the past 30 years. One of my biggest issues with buy a vehicle is all the empty promises with service. As soon as they make the sale they could care less about you.

Ford 5.4 spark plugs blowing out of cylinder heads.

My name is Paul Schaub. I purchased a used 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty with the 5.4 engine in November of 2015. I have had 2 spark plugs blow out within 1 year of purchase of this truck and now on Tuesday December 13, 2016 another one blew out on my home from work. I have so far spent $750.00 to repair this problem and I am NOT very happy with the design flaw of this spark plug issue. I like the automobiles that Ford Motor Company builds but I am very DISPLEASED with spending my hard earned money to keep fixing this spark plug issue. I can't afford to fix the ones that haven't blown out yet as I have bills to pay and a Wife and Daughter to support. I would like to know what Ford Motor Company is doing to fix this problem with the spark plugs as I am probably not the only customer of Ford that has had or continues to have this problem. Thank you kindly for taking the time to read this complaint. I feel terrible that this is the first time I have complained to an automobile manufacturer about a problem with an automobile issue.

Ford service provided by hall lincoln ford in newport news, va

Bought a 2016 F150 about 4 months ago. Well about 2 months after owning it the radio would not turn off, I turned the truck off and back in and the problem went away. I didn't think much about it until two weeks later when the radio would not turn on. I took it to Hall Ford in Newport News, Va. I had to argue with the technician to have them do anything because of course when to turn the truck off it resets the problem. I was told if it happened again bring it in and they would fix the problem. The problem came back yesterday so I took it back in. I again had to argue with the technician; because as soon as the took it to "run diagnostics " on it they turned the truck off and it reset the problem. I argued with the tech because they were just going to send me on my way. And was told I needed to "take my business elsewhere". They finally kept the truck and later told me that they would replace the radio "because that was the most likely problem." Which is what I told them from the start! Oh but they don't have the radio in stock, so I am out of my truck until Monday, "or Tuesday at the latest."

The lack of professionalism and service is dumbfounding.

If this is how Ford Motors does business I will never by a Ford again!

Ford 2015 ford fusion

Bought brand new Fusion in Feb 2015. My car has been driving fine. And all of sudden went out to drive it, it wouldn't start. Wouldn't turn over or anything. Called local Ford dealer and roadside assistance came out. Said battery was completely drained. Well we got it jumped, took to Englewood, :) Ford dealer. They had my car almost 2 days and checked everything and said they couldn't find anything wrong with car. My car seemed to work ok, up until Sept 2016 and then I jumped it and was ok. Then again in November 2016, did same exact thing, like battery was dead. Jumped it and took to Kerns Ford in st. Marys, oh and they had car one week and still couldn't find anything wrong with it. And now Dec 8th 2016 it's doing same thing again. Ford really needs to figure out what is happening with why my car is doing this
