Food Network food network ceramic coated pans

We bought a set of ceramic coated pans from Kohl's and are genuinely satisfied with the overall performance of the set with one exception... the bottom layer of the large skillet came off on the stove the first time we used it. I didn't expect the finish to come off when applied to heat (please see attached photo). Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Food Network food network 3-pc. cookie sheet set

I registered for the 3 pc cookie sheet set from my local target store for my wedding shower. I received this item as a gift and it was awesome for the first 2-3 uses and then the pans bent and the non stick was no longer non stick. I was expecting a much better quality product that would last longer and be more durable. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

Food Network georgia hardstark

Today, on August 12, 2017 on Instagram Georgia Hardstark posted an article about the riots in VA that happened. Her comments, while understood, were quite hateful and extreme. Being a follower of her IG and a fan, I simply commented that continued hate speech and rhetoric would not help the situation and that we should all do our part to help portray love, peace and understanding. I didn't think it necessary -- with what I'd already said - to specifically indicate that I too was discouraged and disappointed about today's riot.

Georgia's response to me, which she responded to quite quickly, was for me to "[censor] off".

The reason I'm writing this is that Ms. Hardstark is frequently on Food Network's affiliate Cooking Channel, "Unique Eats and Unique Sweets". Adults and children watch these shows and even look up to, follow, etc of Georgia Hardstark. Her behavior, lack of professionalism and use of vulgar and demeaning language and her bullying nature should not be something Food Network and Cooking Channel endorses.

I no longer follow Ms. Hardstark's IG and will not be following again. I also do not plan on watching any Food Network or Cooking Channel shows she appears on.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

Food Network giada de laurentiis bias

Giada De Laurentiis has a serious conflict of interest in judging Matthew, as she "changed her mind" in the previous series based on an 'eye wink' that Mathew gave which she did not like. She obviously has a personal axe to grind against him and used her powers in a biased way to undermine and in the end - eliminate hm. I can't believe the network would tolerate this kind of personal bias and abuse of power. I will never watch this show again.

Food Network 18 pic soft knife set bought from kohlns

I recently bought the 18 pic knife set from kohls the soft set and have used the steak knives once. After washing the knifes I noticed that there are rust spots, little spots of knicks in them. I washed them by hand and am very upset and disappointed that these did not last longer than a week after the money that was spent. I would like to have them replaced or repaired. I expected much better quality for the food network.

Thats exactly what i was going to write and complain about, although Kohls took it back, i was shocked to say the least. The woman who worked there said good knives should never go in a dish washer, Isaid if they were good there should never been a problem.
So did you get any response from the Food Net Work?

Food Network guy fieri shows

Hi, can you please stop airing guys fieri's shows for blocks of 12+ hours at a time? Literally no one wants to watch a sexist, homophobe gorge himself on cheeseburgers from 2pm-4am. It would be great to get rid of this tv "personality" all together, but i'm sure that won't happen any time soon. So in the mean time could you just like... Play something different?

Food Network 10" ceramic non stick frying pan

I received the pan as a Christmas present in 2016. I washed & oiled the interior prior to use & every time I used it as per the instructions. I have never used it to deep fry only to cook eggs, bacon, pancakes. Food has always stuck to the pan. I was able to clean it, but the food left stains that won't come out. I tried cooking pancakes this morning with minimal oil & the very first one stuck to the pan. I am very disappointed. I have other non stick teflon pans that I have had for several years that never stick.

Food Network what has food network morphed into?

I remember the first day I watched Food Network! Robin Leach was the host!
It was 1993 and Donna Hanover (married then to Guliani) was on the network as well as Emeril, some twit named Katy (Not Katie Lee), David Rosengarten and of course they would have old shows with Julia Child. Because I LOVE to cook I loved this show & it focused on FOOD and everything about FOOD.
In time they added Bobby Flay, Sara Moulten etc...But the whole premise was sharing information about FOOD, RECIPES, NUTRITION, PREPARATION ETC...
At that time TLC had their share of cooking shows such as Biba, Carlo Middione, Sandra Lee, Julia Child etc...so this was a nice break from those shows. During the late 90's and early 2000's it was stellar, as in all kinds of cuisine, tons of recipes etc... So educational and entertaining. Now let's move ahead! Circa 2017, it's all about game shows, reality TV and let's be honest here when I say that just like the modeling world (no longer bonafide models on covers but photoshopped celerities), all you have to be is a celebrity of some kind and you can cook! Huh? Yep folks, Food Network has become a cartoon of itself. Washed up sitcom stars, country singers, or was once married to a musician, the Next Food Network "Star" (very funny) that they don't know what to do with so they are judges on all these food competition shows! Worst yet is "The Kitchen" which is a combo of a loud obnoxious woman (Sunny Andersen), a pompous chef (Jeffrey Zakarian), A woman who's claim to fame was being married to Billy Joel & decided to put out a cookbook before she dumped him (Katie Lee), A token hispanic (Marcella Villalodid) and then Mr. Goofball annoying (Jeff Mauro) that supposedly knows all about snadwiches. Then we add the "No Kid Hungry" campaign which they have the AUDACITY to run a commercial about just after "Ginormous Food"! Seriously, what is WRONG with this channel. It has become a mockery of itself.
Chopped was and is in its original form a good show. They have ruined it with all the spin-offs. Then they are Beating Bobby Flay, Flay is then helping choose the Food Network Star ( very poorly produced show as it is transparent and boring), then we are AGAIN beating Bobby Flay on Chopped. Then he is judging Chopped, then he is an Iron Chef, and the list goes on.I like Bobby Flay and believe he is an awesome chef but how about a new story line folks! EVERY show on Beat Bobby Flay it is the same thing, he hasn't made it since culinary school...uh oh! He might get beat...uh oh! Then the celebrity banter about beating him...SNOOZE...so over it. Who cares!
Now Eddie Jackson is a judge for the Kids Barbecue Championship...and that awful bar-b-que show of his. Again...snooze. Demaris Phillips, another Southern Cook that is mediocre and without charisma. Nancy Fuller a woman in her 60's who has to tell you that she is a "Farm Girl" at heart! Are they kidding? She was what I believe was the Paula Dean replacement or so they thought. BIG mistake firing Dean, but then FN has this need to be what they believe to be politically correct. The worst is Tricia Yearwood a woman that really is just a poor home cook. Another person who decided she was a chef & put out cookbooks because of her celebrity with old unhealthy family recipes from the 50's and 60's that anyone could find on the back of a Campbell's Mushroom Soup can! Add to that overweight Garth Brooks (her husband) that seems to think he also is a chef with his disgusting creations such as a breakfast bowl with 5, 000 calories made with pork sausage, bacon, Tator Tots, and you guessed it tortellini for a whopping overload of carbohydrates, cholesterol and calories guaranteed to make you gain a few pounds in one meal! Yep...Food Network has come a long way alright and not in a good way either. The need to stay in the ratings trying to compete with the other networks has destroyed what Food Network should of cultivated. Don't get me wrong, there are some good shows still on there like Barefoot Contessa, & I do like Giada and her shows on Italian Tradition and Food; Pioneer Woman (at least she can cook unlike Yearwood), Valerie Bertinelli who is pleasant and a very accomplished cook.
I like Iron Chef because of the beautiful "FOOD"...you know people what this network is supposed to be about which is food & teaching about food.
WAKE UP FOOD NETWORK and go back to what made you! Cooks versus Cons WHO CARES AWFUL SHOW...GINORMOUS FOOD which is a ginormous flop with a ginormous guy in this day and age where we are supposed to be taking care of ourselves & so many people are without food.. But hey, No Kid Hungry! Lol...disgusting it really is. WAKE UP FOOD NETWORK! Diners, Drive-ins & Dives...haven't we had enough of Guy stuffing his face. And leave it to FN to then add that awful show with he and his son, Hunter! Lol...just awful. The most insulting were these commercials, you know the ones that were the supposed teasers saying "it's coming the Next Food Network Star" you know like we are ALL on the EDGE of our seats and just can't wait! Lol...
I could go on but I won't as there are others on FN that are truly annoying .
Amanda Frietag, Marilu Henner, Patricia Heaton, Joey Fatone just to name a few. Wish I they would wake up and smell the coffee! Just saying people!

Food Network alex guarnaschelli

Why the hell is she on tv? I used to watch everything on Food Network until 2 years ago I couldn't stand the network because it kept trying to convince me that Guarnaschelli should be on television. Guarnaschelli belongs on tv as much as raw chicken belongs on pizza. I gave the channel another chance tonight after a two year hiatus, and I totally regret it. Let me know when Guarnaschelli is off the network forever and I'll come back. She is so rude and unlikeable. If you keep insisting on putting her on tv I'll keep insisting on avoiding all your programming.

Food Network food network ceramic pots and pans

I finally bought a new set of pots and pans last year from kohls, the foodnetwork ceramic coated. Yesterday I was cooking eggs and sausage for breakfast and the cap cover on the inside of pan connected to the handle popped off like a gun shot hitting my ceiling then onto the floor. Thank god it didn't hit me in the eye! Scared me to death! at this point I'm afraid to continue using these pots and pans and would like to be reimbursed. Please let me know what my next step is, thank you!

Hi Susan, this EXACT thing happened to me yesterday. My husband and I, too, were spared of losing an eye or being injured by the cap. Has Food Network made any restitution? If so, how did you go about addressing this issue? The cookware is definitely defective and dangerous!

Food Network ginormous tv show

When this show was first announced, I wrote to express my extreme dismay that the food network, which overall tends to espouse a healthy approach to food, and which is so good at showing concern for programs like nokid hungry, would stoop to serve up a program glorifying gluttony, overeating and enormous preparations. But it was broadcast, and now it has been given a second season. This is disgraceful and distasteful. At a time when nearly 200 million people are literally starving in africa, and great numbers of families and children are going hungry here in the united states, for the food network to continue to glorify these restaurants and items which glorify gluttony and unhealthy eating is sinful. If you feel you must do so, then please counter this programming by pledging a considerable amount of money and effort in sending food to those starving in africa and in the united states.

Food Network santoku knife

I bought a Good Network santoku knife two years ago at Kohl's. It's been a good knife. Unfortunately the blade recently broke in half while I was cleaning it. I was not putting much pressure on it at all when it snapped.

I tried going to Kohl's but they don't carry this knife any longer. Will Food Network send me a replacement? My address is 4380 Northridge Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684. My number is [protected].

Thank you,
Michelle Moore

Food Network magazine cancellation - continued to be billed

Food Network Magazine continues to send bills for a magazine subscription sent to my son, who is a MINOR. The magazine was subscribed to as part of a home economics class at school. The subscription was paid in full for one year. The company has sent numerous bills in the name of my son (who is a minor). My son has written the company to request a cancellation. I have written the company twice to request they cease from billing or sending magazines. I am now filing complaints with the Attorney General Offices in Iowa and Alabama. I believe this is a form of "slamming"- they continue to bill people even after they submit requests in writing to cancel the subscriptions.

Food Network automatic renewal of subscription

The subscription auto-renewal service is a scam. I can subscribe to the magazine online for $12 a year. But the auto-renewal rates go up substantially every year. Last year, they charged my credit card an unconscionable $45 for one year -- almost four times the normal rate, and just barely under the cover price! Cancel the auto-renewal as soon as you subscribe so they don't gouge you like they did me! Love the magazine, but what a bunch of crooks!

Food Network gift ordering

Horrible customer service! Sent in for a third time a gift subscription for my daughter. And after the first 2 attempts with my account credited for the renewal, I got yet another incorrect billing — as a renewal and not as a gift. How hard is it to read a typed out card that says: gift to: xxxx from: my name. And, amanda in customer service is very condescending cutting me off. Hey... Customer service... Your job is to listen and not cut off the customer — a preferred and longtime one at that. Do not expect to get a resolution to this, but want others to proceed with caution and triple check everything!

Food Network what happened to foodnetwork?

I loved this site in the past but there's nothing left form good old FoodNetwork. I used to watch their shows about how to cook and really enjoyed it and I become really good in cooking. But then most of the good shows were closed and they started to show only stupid reality shows! And the worst part is that they repeat the same episodes like over and over again for months now! I'm officially done with FoodNetwork!

Agree, I use to love to watch food Network, no more. I am sorry but I'm not going to learn how to cook a good meal for my family watching chopped, seriously, who has any of that gross stuff at their house, and cupcake wars, who cares...it goes on and on. Food Network please bring back the format you use to have, shows that really showed us how to make realistic meals!

Food Network gift subscription and harassment

My name is Sharon A Parsons. I have been an avid fan of the food network for years. A couple of years ago, I added a gift subscription for Karen Domenico. She enjoyed it the first year and decided she didn't want to receive it any longer. I did provide her another subscription for 2015. When I received the invoice from your establishment & Hearst, I checked the box to "not renew." I received another invoice approximately 2 wks. later and again checked the "not renew" & sent it back. I have been receiving mailings saying my account was delinquent for this gift subscription. As you probably know by now, I am less than happy. Whomever is behind this, is playing with people's good credit. I will not pay this bill. I fulfilled my obligation by sending invoices back to the appropriate place twice to "not renew." I'm requesting that you speak with your invoicing department to figure this out. Should I find that this has been placed on my credit report, I will proceed with other measures. I will look forward to your response. Thank you, Sharon A Parsons

Hello,

I keep getting invoices to pay for a subscription that has been paid up until 2019, see below. In the most recent invoice I was threatened that if I did not pay you would stop sending the magazine gift subscription I purchased for my sister-in-law Catronia. This is a reprehensive business tactic.

As you can also see the company did not send me my May issue in retaliation for not having paid the previous invoice they sent me. Really? They ran out of copies?

I will certainly not be recommending any of my friends purchase a subscription to the Food Network Magazine in view of the unprofessional and threatening manner in which they handle their subscribers.
